Elena was going through some of the drawings that Davina sketched while watching the Witch, who was kneeling beside Elijah's open coffin, in question out of the corner of her eyes, only to pause and hide a smirk when Davina pulled out the Dagger just as Marcel stepped into the attic, and Davina suddenly stabbed the Dagger back into Elijah's chest, causing Elena's eyes to flash yellow at Davina's actions.
When Marcel didn't comment on Davina's actions in regards to removing the Dagger from Elijah's heart, Elena realised that not only did Davina, and Marcel, not know about the Dagger becoming useless once it was removed, or if the Dagger was put back into an Original's heart without White Oak Ash, it was still useless. Davina then stood up and walked over to the only window.
"This sucker's resilient."Marcel said as he bent down beside Elijah's coffin."He's like a cockroach in a suit."Elena, who had turned to watch Marcel with cautious eyes, glared at the insult that he directed at Elijah."Doesn't matter. Time to give ol' Elijah back to Klaus, anyway."He said with a sigh.
Davina turned back to Marcel."You asked me to figure out how to kill the Originals."Davina walked over to the Vampire while Elena crossed her arms."I'm not done."She added with a small gesture."The Silver Dagger hurts them, but..."Davina trailed off for a second."That's it."
"Davina, we've been through this."Marcel said sternly as he stood up."Klaus saved my life. I owe him one."Davina just stared at him impassively."Since he wants his Brother"Marcel made a small gesture to Elijah's desiccated form."back-Tonight's the annual Dauphine Street Music Festival."Davina cut Marcel off, changing the subject.
"I wanna go."Marcel sighed silently as he placed his hands on his hips."Please?"
"The whole point of you being up here is so you're never spotted out there."Marcel stated, reminding Davina of why she was in a Church Attic and not living her life, causing Elena to look at them curiously."You know who works smack in the middle of Dauphine Street? Sophie Deveraux."A growl threatened to escape Elena's lips at the mention of the Witch who was linked to her and Hayley."Pain-in-the-ass Witch, and you know what the Witches will do to you if they find you."
"But you control the Witches."Davina retorted."Make her go away."
"Wouldn't we all want that."Elena muttered under her breath before she could stop herself and Marcel looked at her with narrowed eyes.
"Marcel, it's one night."Davina continued speaking, having not heard Elena's words, and drew Marcel's attention back to her.
"I said; No."Marcel said sharply, causing Davina's hopeful expression to drop and he turned to walk away.
"I do anything you say,"Marcel paused and looked back at Davina."but sometimes I think you forget what I'm capable of."Elena watched them with narrowed eyes, wondering if Davina was threatening Marcel or just reminding him of how powerful she was."Did you know I can make someone's blood boil?"Davina questioned Marcel."All I have to do is focus."Davina stared at Marcel intensely and it wasn't long before Marcel started to sweat.
The Vampire wiped the sweat from his brow and Davina smiled, a smug smile."Fine."He said with a slight smile."We compromise, all right? You going out alone-too dangerous."Davina nodded, obviously agreeing that it was too dangerous to walk around by herself."But, I'll introduce you to a friend of mine that's going to be there. Alright? Nice lady. You two are really gonna hit it off."Davina looked excited at hearing this.
"And let me guess, I stay here?"Elena spoke up, drawing their attention to her."I am pregnant, remember."Elena added, looking directly at Marcel as she stepped towards him, her arms still crossed."And like you said, you owe Klaus. He's expecting that you return me and Elijah to him."She reminded him.
"Elena, I'm trying to help you, and your little one."Marcel said, gesturing to Elena's baby-bump."From what I heard, Klaus can't create Hybrids without a Human Doppelganger, and when you expire, Klaus' words, not mine,"Marcel quickly said when Elena's eyes narrowed."he'll wait for the next Doppelganger from your Bloodline to be born in the next five hundred years."Elena looked at him in disbelief."I'm just trying to protect you until I can find a way to get Klaus to leave you alone."
"You mean allow Davina to find a way to kill Klaus."Elena corrected him and Marcel sighed.
"How about this. I'll go out and I will get you whatever you want to eat."Marcel tried to change the subject with Elena.
"Well now that you mention it... I want a chicken and tuna sandwich with pickles, mayo, and cheese. And chocolate covered strawberries."Elena said, ignoring the look Davina gave her at the mention of what type of sandwich she wanted while Marcel just nodded before he left.
"I told you, Agnes, I feel great."Hayley said sarcastically to the French Quarter Witch known as Agnes, as she flipped the page of the book she was reading.
"You are overdue for a checkup."Agnes, who was sitting across from Hayley, said gently as she looked at Hayley, who in turned glanced up at her.
"What am I going to do? Pop up into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound?"Hayley sassed."A pregnant Werewolf escorted by a Witch? Nothing to see here."
"A lot of women would kill to have a child."Rebekah spoke up from her spot in the other room."Strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours."
"I know a Doctor out in the Bayou off the Beaten Path."Hayley looked out the window."Now I took the liberty of making an appointment for you tonight after hours, just us."Agnes said and gave a disgusted look as she said her next words."Vampires will never get a word of it."
Hayley tilted her head back, thinking before she sighed and gave in."Ok, fine. Bayou Baby Doctor it is."Agnes got up.
Hayley, after shutting her book and placing it on the table, followed after the Witch before Klaus walked in to see that Rebekah was still looking at satellite photos of the French Quarter.
"Please, Sister, tell me you're not still at it with the internet search."Klaus stated as he walked past Rebekah."How does one begin, anyway?"He glanced over his shoulder at her."Just type in; anonymous attic?"He asked as he poured himself a glass of scotch.
"Someone has to find Elijah, even if I have to search every bloody attic in New Orleans."Rebekah rebuked.
"Like looking for a needle in a rather large pile of needles."Klaus said with a smirk as he took a sip of his scotch.
"I remember details about the attic Marcel took me to."Rebekah said, typing in key words on the laptop."There were shutters on the windows behind Elijah's coffin."
"Well, that should narrow it down immensely. Myself, I prefer actual strategy as opposed to mind-numbing labor."Klaus sat down opposite Rebekah, who glanced up at him."Marcel's delay in returning our Brother makes me suspect he's no longer in charge of the situation."Rebekah gave him a curious tilt of her head, as if to say go on."If Davina's loyalty to Marcel is strained, perhaps the young witch will be open to discussing a new alliance."He pointed out.
Rebekah smiled bitterly."As usual, your power grabs are more important than rescuing your Brother."
"I prefer to think of it as killing two birds with one stone. Rob Marcel of his secret weapon, bring our Brother home."Klaus summed up as Rebekah merely looked at him with a tight smile on her lips.
"Big event tonight, a lot of people drinking, a lot of eyes watching."Marcel said he and a group of his Vampires, who could walk in the daytime, walked down Dauphine Street."I don't want any trouble, which means no Witches. Send word through the Cauldron; Any Witches come here, we kill them. And, while you're at it, no Originals, I don't like how Rebekah's been snooping around."He instructed the Vampires."I got my girl; Cami coming, her and a little friend of hers, I want eyes on them at all times; eyes only."Marcel paused and turned back to face the group."Alright? I don't want anyone getting anywhere near either of them. Everybody's got a post, everybody keeps an eye out. You cool?"The Vampires look at Marcel in agreement for a moment before walking away.
Agnes pulled up to a house in the Bayou and Hayley raised an eyebrow."This is the Doctor's Office?"Hayley asked, pointing at the house as she looked back at Agnes in disbelief.
Agnes smiled sadly at her."Dr. Paige is only this far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients."She explained."Go. She won't bite."Nervously, Hayley got out of the car and made her way to the house while Agnes pulled her phone out, quickly dialing a number."Send them in now and tell them do to it quickly."She said in a low serious voice with cold eyes.
After helping Davina pick out a dress, which they decided that a white sundress was the best choice, to wear for the Festival, and after Marcel came to pick Davina up and left, Elena walked over to Elijah's open coffin and sat down beside it, placing her hand on his cheek again and closed her eyes to focus on entering Elijah's mind.
"Hello, Lovely."Elena's eyes snapped open and she whirled around, realising that Elijah's voice came from behind her, and realised that they were in a meadow.
"Elijah."Elena greeted him, smiling up at the Original."Davina pulled the Dagger out this morning."She stated as they began to walk around the meadow."You should be waking up soon."
"Interesting."Elijah said with a smile of his own, yet Elena could see the curious look in his eyes."And yet, I can still feel it in my heart."He stated.
"She put it back in, but it was obvious that she didn't know that once you pull the Dagger out, the Original is no longer bound by the Dagger due to there being no White Oak Ash."Elena explained, shrugging."She thinks it's just some sort of Cursed Silver Dagger..."Elena trailed off, tilting her head."And it seems Marcel doesn't know that you need the Dagger to be covered in White Oak Ash to keep the Original neutralized?"She pointed out questionably.
"Marcel knows a lot about my Family, but I must admit that we did keep certain things a secret from him, including the full story behind the Daggers."Elijah told her with a slight smirk.
"How devious."Elena joked before Elijah suddenly paused, causing Elena to pause and look at him."What's wrong?"
"Rebekah is here."Elijah said before their surroundings suddenly changed, as did their clothes, along with Elena's hair. Rebekah, wearing similar clothes and with her hair all done up, was suddenly standing before them with her back to them.
Elena easily recognised the timeline they were in, being sometime during the 1980's."What the bloody hell?"Rebekah breathed out as she looked around.
"Rebekah, language, please."Rebekah turned to find Elijah, in a different suit to the one he was wearing in the real world, standing behind her, smiling along with Elena, who was dressed in a similar dress to her own.
"Elijah!"Rebekah breathed out happily and walked over, hugging him, which he returned.
"Hey, what about me?"Elena asked, throwing up her arms as if to say; I'm offended.
Laughing, Rebekah let go of Elijah to hug Elena."What is all this?"Rebekah asked Elijah after she pulled away, glancing around.
"You don't remember?"Elijah questioned her."You and I went to the Opera House together."Elijah held out his arms for the girls and and the duo linked their arms through his."It was your first foray back into New Orleans Society after Klaus removed the Dagger from you."Elijah reminded Rebekah as he led them towards the gates."It's a memory only you and I share."He than nodded to Elena."One, which I have also included Elena in."Elena smiled at that."Also, I needed you to know it's not another of Davina's tricks."Elijah added.
"Well, how are you even awake?"Rebekah questioned Elijah."And why didn't you do anything, Elena? You could have Undaggered Elijah and escaped."Rebekah questioned Elena.
"There's a Boundary Spell around the Door, which keeps me trapped inside the attic, and two, Davina somehow Spelled me to not remove the Dagger, kind of like Compulsion."Elena explained."As for how Elijah is awake now..."Elena trailed off, deciding to let Elijah explain.
"Davina removed the Dagger."Rebekah looked at him in disbelief."Unaware that doing so even once would negate the Dagger's power."Elijah smiled as he let go of Rebekah's hand."In a few hours, I shall be as good as new!"He said as he walked away from Rebekah, taking Elena with him.
"So, pop me into the attic and we can find a way to get you two out!"Rebekah demanded.
"I'm afraid I'm not quite ready to leave yet, Rebekah."Elijah admitted as he came to a stop and they turned back to face Rebekah."This girl, Davina, she's curious."Elijah turned back to the small table and picked up a bottle of wine that was on the table and unscrewed the lid."Willful, too."He added as he poured himself, Elena, Rebekah a drink as the two girls glanced at each other, with Elena shrugging slightly, as if to say she had no idea what Elijah was thinking."Soon, I shall be able to speak to her, perhaps to even propose a truce of some kind. So, if we can end this war between the Vampires and the Witches, we'll be able to eliminate the threat to Hayley and her baby, and mine and Elena's baby." Elijah explained his reasons and looked back at Rebekah."Perhaps then Niklaus and our entire Family can finally know peace."Elijah handed Rebekah and Elena a glass each of wine."In the meantime, I need you to look after Hayley."Elijah looked pointedly at Rebekah."She is our Family now, so I need her and her unborn child to fall underneath our protection."He held out his drink to toast to Rebekah.
"And what of Elena? I can't just leave her here while you try and make a truce with Davina."Rebekah retorted questionably, gesturing to Elena, who in turn raised an eyebrow at Rebekah as if to say she could protect herself."What happens if Davina doesn't take the truce and retaliates? Elena could get hurt, Elijah!"Rebekah continued as if she hadn't seen the look Elena gave her.
Elijah's eyes darkened."Rebekah, I will never allow anyone, least of all, a moody teenage Witch, to harm Elena or our baby."Elijah growled out protectively as he wrapped his arm around Elena's waist."Do you think so low of me to allow such a thing to happen?"
"Of course not."Rebekah backtracked, realising that she was walking on dangerous ground.
"Then swear to me, Rebekah, that you will look after Hayley until Elena and I return."Elijah said as the world around Elena and Rebekah began to fade away.
"I swear."Rebekah said as she and Elena came back to reality and Elena dropped her hand from Elijah's cheek to look at Rebekah."You'll be ok?"Rebekah asked the brunette, concerned.
"Always am."Elena said with a gentle smile and watched as Rebekah, after nodding, left before the brunette glanced back down at Elijah."You better hurry up and wake up Elijah. Living in an attic is not ideal."Elena said dryly and her eyes narrowed when she thought she saw a smile tug at the corner of his lips.
"Hello, Tim."Klaus said after watching the young teen struggle to get his car unlock, due to his hands being full with his fiddle case. At the sound of his name, Tim looked back at the older man with confusion."I believe you and I share an acquaintance."Klaus said as he placed his hand on Tim's shoulder in a tight grip while looking directly into Tim's eyes."Be a good lad and help me send her a message."He compelled Tim, smiling all the while.
"Well, he couldn't have gone far, he just got off-stage a minute ago!"Cami said as she and Davina looked around for Tim.
Davina just sighed and blinked away the tears from her eyes."It doesn't matter, this was a stupid idea anyway."
"No, it wasn't! Davina–Just forget it."Davina cut Cami off, running away.
"Tell her this is from one of the musicians."Klaus, who appeared beside Cami, said as handed her a note."She'll want to leave, and you're going to want to help her slip out the back exit so Marcel doesn't see. Whatever you do, don't let her out of your sight."Cami looked annoyed, but when she turned to say something to Klaus, he was gone.
Looking back in the direction of where Davina ran off, Cami called out to her;"Wait, Davina!"and the blonde ran to catch up with the young Witch.
Cami, after bringing Davina to the Church and getting her to talk to Tim, tuned the teens out while they were talking, as she stared at the bloodstains on the walls in the back of the Church, but she did hear Tim play the fiddle for Davina.
"The boy has a gift. You can't compel a person to play like that."Klaus praised Tim as he stood next to Cami.
"I know what you are. It's crazy to me, but at least it makes sense."Cami suddenly said, not taking her eyes off the bloodstains on the wall."But this..."Cami trailed off with a shake of her head."massacre... was just a pointless, brutal thing."She looked back at Klaus."In your life, have you ever heard of anything like that? A good man, an aspiring priest, just goes on a killing spree out of nowhere."Cami questioned Klaus.
Klaus, still watching the two teens, sat down next to Cami."I've seen quite a lot in my time. The world is a rather awful place. Best to meet it on its own terms."He said plainly, yet there was a smile, a bitter smile that he tried to make it look like an amused smile, on his face.
"No. The world isn't awful. People aren't awful."Klaus looked at Cami, who looked back at him."They want to be good; something makes them bad. Something breaks them down, makes them snap."Cami said wisely as Klaus glanced away from her intense gaze."There are always signs, symptoms, before someone has a psychotic break. The guy who did this had none of them; he didn't drink, he didn't do drugs..."She trailed off with a frown on her face.
"You're well-informed on the matter."Klaus pointed out."You knew him, didn't you?"
Cami blinked back the tears that threatened to escape."His name was Sean. He was my Brother. My twin, actually."Klaus blinked in surprise but didn't let it show on his face."I can't sleep, I"Cami hunched forward, bracing her arms on her thighs."dream, about what happened, and I hate it, and I hate that I couldn't help him."
"We all must stand alone against our demons."Klaus stated.
"What if someday, his demons become mine too?"Cami looked at him expectantly, but Klaus had nothing to say to her question.
"I have some business I should attend to."Klaus suddenly said, changing the subject when he noticed that Tim had stopped playing."But before I do,"Klaus placed a hand on her shoulder and looked in her eyes."you should go, enjoy the music."He said, compelling her."Put this out of your mind."Klaus let go of her and Cami left the Church to return to the festival.
Father Kieran was walking down Dauphine Street when he saw Marcel walking around the festival and called out to him to get his attention"Father Kieran."Marcel said."Welcome back. I wasn't sure when you'd be coming home."
"I can tell, judging by what's been going on in my Church Attic."Father Kieran said sharply and cryptically.
Marcel smiled coldly."I didn't think you'd mind. Lord knows I've done you a favor or two."
"I take it you know the Originals have returned?"Father Kieran questioned him in a low voice."The Sister, Rebekah? I saw her earlier, snooping around the Church, asking about the attic. She doesn't know I take Vervain. You gotta problem on your hands."Father Kieran stated pointedly.
"No disrespect, for the grieving process, for you and your Church, but just so I know-Are you here to help, or are you just going to drop in with criticism?"Father Kieran laughed coldly.
"Never forget, Marcel, that you live in this city by the grace of those who know your secret and tolerate you."Father Kieran whispered as he leaned closer to Marcel.
"And this City thrives because of me and my people."Marcel retorted."Anytime that you need a reminder of that, just let me know."He added as he started at Father Kieran menacingly.
"Marcel?"Josh interrupted Father Kieran's and Marcel's conversation."Diego said he lost eyes on the girls.
"To be continued."Marcel told Father Kieran before he walked away, and Father Kieran watched him leave with a frown on his lips.
After playing for Davina, Tim started to put his fiddle away."You two are absolutely adorable!"Klaus said, making his presence known to the two teens."Warms my heart, it really does, but I do need a word with the young lady. So, Tim,"Klaus placed his hand on Tim's shoulder in a tight grip."Go sit down, count to one-hundred-thousand."The Hybrid compelled the teen, who walked to the back of the Church."Quietly, now, there's a good boy."Klaus added before he turned back to Davina."I assume you know who I am."Davina just glared up at him."Then, let's get right to it, shall we?"Klaus walked passed her before he turned around to look at her."Your current dilemma strikes me as a case of poor alliances. You're loyal to Marcel and yet he keeps you tucked away in an attic. Surely you prefer just a little bit more freedom. And yet Marcel keeps you prisoner."Klaus said bluntly, narrowing his eyes, which were gleaming, with a smile.
"Marcel doesn't keeps me prisoner,"Davina stepped closer to Klaus."he keeps me safe. He's my friend."Davina corrected Klaus.
"Well, I've no doubt he is."Klaus slightly crouched down to eye level with Davina."For a girl caught in a war between Witches and Vampires, I might be a better friend. I would keep you safe."Klaus added the last sentence in a soft voice."And I'd allow you your freedom."Klaus stood back and walked down the aisle."If Marcel could do that, why hasn't he done so already? And it does beg the question; If Marcel can't protect you, then what of those you care about?"He questioned Davina and gestured to Tim, who is sitting in the last pew.
"If anyone tries to hurt anyone I care about, I'll kill them."Davina vowed darkly.
"Well, then. Sounds like you don't need Marcel at all. Perhaps you've suspected it all along."Klaus started to walk back to Davina."Your dear friend Marcel tricks you into doing his bidding. And all the while you rot in an attic, alone, while young Timothy moves on with his life."
Davina glared intently up at Klaus, angry."You feel that?"Davina suddenly asked as Klaus' eyes widened."That's your blood starting to boil."Davina said when Klaus groaned as sweat started to drip from his forehead.
In retaliation, Klaus sped over to Tim and put him in a headlock"Such a shame to lose him, just as you found him again."Klaus said threatening."And I really did admire your skill with that violin."He added to Tim.
"Don't you dare hurt him!"Davina yelled angrily, yet was fearful for Tim's life.
"Oh, I hope I won't have to, sweetheart. But, then, that depends on you."Klaus briefly showed Davina his Hybrid face.
"Let him go now!"Davina demanded.
"You should know, I don't do well with demands."Davina suddenly thrust out her open hand and twisted it, and with a yell of pain, Klaus' knees buckled out from under him as the bones in his legs broke.
Unfortunately, it only took a moment for his bones to reset and heal."Impressive."He growled."But you don't want to fight me, love. Innocent people have a way of ending up dead."
"Please, let me go."Tim whispered.
"Your choice, Little Witch. Swear allegiance to me alone and the boy lives."The candles behind Davina suddenly flared as her Magic reacted to her anger."Stand against me-"Klaus was cut off as Davina suddenly thrust both of her hands out in front of her.
With an enraged shriek, her Magic caused papers and books to be blown around by a harsh wind, and all the windows in the Church shattered. The glass shards flew backwards, and Klaus and Tim were forcibly blown backwards toward the entrance. Even Davina was knocked backwards by the raw power of her own Magic and was thrown to the ground.
Hayley, who was hiding behind a tree, after having had escaped the clinic that Agnes brought her too when she realised that something was suspicious, when a group of men came into the Clinic, and after killing the Witch Doctor, who had tried to inject her with something, watched as they past her, not seeing that she's hiding behind a tree.
The brunette ran out from behind the tree and up to them, kicking the first man, she encountered, in the gut and knocked him to the ground. She jumped into the air and kicked the second man down as well before snapped his neck while the third man tries to attack her, but she grabbed the knife from his hands and cut his neck with it as she spins in the air.
When her fourth attacker came at her, she grabbed his weapon, and knocked him to the ground, and possibly killed him as she kicked him and beat him in the head with the butt of the weapon. Hayley crouched on the ground, her eyes flashing Werewolf-gold as she looked for any more threats, when suddenly, a large, burly man descended upon her. But before Hayley could react, Rebekah appeared behind him and snapped his neck, and as the lifeless man dropped to the forest floor, the She-Wolf stood up.
"Have to say, I'm impressed."Rebekah said with a huff.
"How'd you find me?"Hayley questioned the blonde as she stepped over the dead body.
"Your text got me half-way, but Vampire hearing did the rest."The blonde explained as the brunette moved a piece of hair out of her face."Who are they?"
"Witches, Warlocks, whatever."Hayley said, looking annoyed.
"There are more of them."The blonde said, looking over her shoulder when she saw more of Hayley's attackers with flashlights in the distance, before turning back to Hayley."Run!"She instructed and Hayley looked hesitant, but one sharp look from the Vampire made the brunette run further into the Bayou."If I had a dollar for every mess my Family has gotten me into."The blonde grumbled as she turned to face the new attackers, only to gasp as an arrow pierced her in the stomach, followed by another piercing her heart.
"Rebekah!"Hayley, having glanced back at the blonde Original and saw her get shot, exclaimed before she was also shot in the shoulder with an arrow, that was coated in something that caused her to pass out.
Cami was walking down the street, observing the people partying around her, when Marcel approached her, looking frantic."Where is she? Where's Davina?"Marcel questioned Cami.
"She went to meet a boy, in St. Ann's Church..."Cami trailed off as Marcel rolled his eyes, sighing.
"Stay here in case she comes back."Marcel told Cami, who, watched him walk away quickly with concern in her eyes.
Elena found herself pacing around the room the entire night as she waited for Elijah to wake up, only to pause when she heard Davina's voice below her, along with a boy's voice. She also heard Klaus, and rolled her eyes at the way he spoke to Davina.
"Why does he always have to threaten people-"Elena cut herself off as she gasped sharply, feeling Davina's raw and powerful Magic wash over her before the entire Church shook with the young Witch's power, and without realising it, the brunette placed her hand over her growing womb.
"Are you alright?"Startled, Elena whirled around and grabbed Elijah by the throat, shoving him up against the nearest wall, with her Hybrid face on display, barring her fangs before her eyes widened as she realised who she had pinned against the wall.
"Elijah."Elena breathed out as her facial features became Human and she let go of the desiccated looking Original."I could have killed you!"She exclaimed.
"You could have, but not permanently."Elijah pointed out with a smile as he looked down at Elena, who just glared at him before she suddenly slapped him, causing his eyes to widen as his head snapped to the side from the force of the slap.
"We really have to stop making promises and deals with each other."Elena said plainly as he looked back at her, his eyes still wide."Also, I've been wanting to do that for a while now."She added with a small smirk.
"Somehow, I'm not surprised."Elijah said dryly as he gave her another smile before giving her a once over, pausing at her bump."Are you alright?"He questioned her again, concern gleaming in his eyes.
"I'm fine, really."Elena said calmly."It's just Davina."She added when he narrowed his gaze at her."But aside from that, I'm dying to get out of this attic."Elena said as she crossed her arms."Baby Vampire, remember."Elena Vamped-Out briefly."Not only do I need blood, but so does our child, considering it is more Vampire than Werewolf."Elena said bluntly."Also, being around a crazy powerful teenage Witch makes it very hard not to try and take a chunk out of her."Elena stated pointedly."Turns out, she's rather clumsy, and Witch Blood smells very delicious."She added.
"Elena, as soon as I have made a deal with Davina, I assure you that you can have as much blood as you desire."Elijah said, pulling Elena into his arms and kissed her on the forehead.
"And if I desire your blood?"Elena mumbled, eyeing the column of his neck almost hungrily before looking up into his stunned gaze, knowing that the reason he was stunned by her question was due to the fact that Blood Sharing between Vampires was a sacred and very personal matter.
"Then it is yours."Elijah said, snapping out of his shock and now it was Elena's turn to be surprised and shocked.
Rebekah returned back to the Doctors Office, finding no one there but the Doctor, dead. Rebekah turned when she heard the familiar swoosh of a Vampire coming into the house and met Klaus' gaze.
"Well, you abandon your quest for power to out your Family."Rebekah stated and narrowed her eyes."Having an off day?"
"Who took her, Rebekah?"Klaus asked softly, yet, there was rage behind his words.
"I don't know."Rebekah answered honestly.
"What do you mean you don't know?"Klaus walked towards her."Then who killed her attackers?"
"I don't know."Rebekah gritted out through clenched teeth."I had an arrow in my heart."Klaus looked slightly amused at that."If it wasn't Hayley who killed them, then-"Rebekah was cut off by a wolf howling. They both glanced at the window before Klaus smirked while Rebekah grimaced."Lovely. Perhaps her cousin will know where she is."The blonde Original walked past Klaus, who quickly followed her to the door. Opening it, they found Hayley stumbling towards them, her clothes tattered and dirty, with a dazed look in her eyes.
"Hayley, what happened?"Klaus said as he quickly walked to her side."Tell me what happened."
"I can't remember."Hayley answered as Klaus placed a hand on her upper arm and looked her over closely.
"You've completely healed."Klaus said and Rebekah released an unneeded sigh of relief."There's not a scratch on you."
"One of the perks of being a Werewolf, remember?"Hayley stated.
"No. Not that fast."Klaus said in denial as Rebekah came over to them.
"Leave her alone."Rebekah said, slapping Klaus' hand away and wrapped an arm around Hayley's shoulder."It's the baby."Rebekah suddenly said in realisation."The Vampire blood, Klaus' blood in your system, it can heal any wound."They sat down on the stairs."That's why you healed faster."Hayley looked up at her as Klaus turned to look at them incredulously."Your own child helped your healing along."Klaus looked slightly awe."How did you escape? You were outnumbered, unarmed. Those men were ripped to shreds."
"I think it was the Wolf."Hayley said and Klaus' eyes narrowed."I think it's trying to protect me."
"The Witches were supposed to protect you."Klaus growled."When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux-It wasn't Sophie."Hayley cut in.
"It was Agnes."
"Fine. Agnes, Sophie. It's all the same to me."Klaus stated coldly."I'll slaughter the lot of them."
"Not if Elijah gets there first."Rebekah shot back.
"Elijah?"Hayley asked, looking at Rebekah sharply."Did you find him? Did you find Elena?"
Rebekah looked at Hayley."He's been in touch, and he has a plan."Rebekah said the last bit directly to Klaus."All he asks is that we take care of you."She looked back at the curly ribbon haired girl when she said that.
"Hey, so, can we go home now?"Hayley asked after a pause of silence."I'd really like to sleep for a couple of days."Hayley stood up, only to sway sideways as she stumbled."Whoa!"Klaus caught her before she could hit the ground and scooped her up into his arms.
"I've got you, love. I've got you."Klaus mumbled gently as Hayley rested her head against his shoulder while her hand rested on his other shoulder.
Elena sat on the bed as she heard Davina coming up the steps while Elijah hid, not wanting to make his presence known to the young Witch just yet."I heard what happened."Elena said softly, referring to Davina's meeting with Klaus, as soon as Davina stepped into the attic, only to pause at Elena's soft voice and the Witch turned to Elena with tears in her eyes."Davina, I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry about what Klaus did. He just wants his Brother back."Elena tried to explain and apologised for Klaus, despite the fact that she knew better than to apologise for someone like Klaus.
"I don't want to talk about it and you shouldn't apologise for other people's actions."Davina said sharply, yet her voice slightly shook.
Elena stayed silent at that and watched as Davina walked over to the window, and placing the broken fiddle on the nightstand, her hands ghosted over the fiddle, trying to blink back the tears in her eyes before looking at the chime. The brunette Witch waved her hand in a riven and the chime started playing the song Tim played for her with a soft on her face. However, it faded when she heard a clatter. Turning sharply, she found the coffin lid shut.
