Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of A Lingering Ember. Enjoy the 4300-word chapter. I do not own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth do.
(Mistral.)
There was something about this all that amused Ollie. He knew damn more and more that Trivia was pushing him into.
Granted? That much was easier said than done and he? He of all people wanted nothing more than to relax. He was all too much on the issue.
The girl tapped her bare feet on his. It made him believe Trivia did not get to play much time to play or even enjoy life.
It made him very angry at whoever she had run from. She acted as much like a scared child then some elite badass who could rip him and everyone to pieces.
Perhaps it was something he would not have been able to deal with, perhaps he could not have allowed it to come crashing down to the ground.
Trivia glanced at him. He could feel her shift slightly in the seat, something about it all had been too much.
There were a lot of different things he was not used to. They had a lot more to talk about when it came down to it.
This was something to be talked about later. The pain which he had not been too distracted for now as he relaxed once more.
The boy reclined in his seat. Now? Now something else had come crashing down to the ground and it was too much.
He was too distracted by her to notice they were almost about to land. He knew they needed more combustion dust, that much was something he was used to.
He was all too eager to see it come crashing to the ground, there was something to be said about the fun to come. He had been too distracted and he would not let anything come to the edge of his patience.
Then again? He was about to scream and right now. The amount of work to be doing this was something beyond what was going to happen now and good.
The idea that they would be getting in over their damn heads still bothered him to no damn end.
"We are going to be landing soon, Triv. Well, I think. We have been flying for a bit and right now." Ollie stated before he sighed, rubbing at his temples and sure of himself only in what would go on, sure of the idea that he would ask of something.
There was PLENTY left to deal with, PLENTY beyond the chaos. They would end up riding a chaotic little thing into a maelstrom, it would be like tossing a tree at a hurricane. It did not matter how violent and vile the hurricane was. It would break, and all things would break eventually.
That and it was too much to bear, far too much to distract them, far beyond what was to be done and what had to understand. They had plenty left to lose and PLENTY left to win.
None of it bothered him, none of it would ever bother him at the end of the day, a cut and a bruise seemed something he could easily have shaken off.
Yes, it was something he had to deal with now, had to distract himself from what the next move was and HOW it would have come to pass now. Their idea of something else was too much now and far.
Something about this all had torn him to pieces. He was too thrown off by every single little move. Trivia continued to tap her feet on his like she was bored, playing a game.
Ollie sighed to himself as he shook his head. He paused and then started to relax, he knew what was coming and what was going on now.
There was something to be said about what was growing on his mind… It would be much too fun, something that had to be distracted.
He was thrown off and he would remain thrown off when it came down to it, there was something to deal with for now. They had a lot more to deal with as he grabbed her hands and stopped her.
There was something to distract him for now, something about it all had been too much for him as he rested his head atop her. Trivia giggled, a meek little noise from a girl who had been through the same hell that he believed nobody should have gone through.
Something like this all was going to be too much now, far too much now…. Something about this all was too much now, far too willingly.
"I want you to know something. I ain't exactly a people person, neither is he. He wants a lot of things I do and he is fine with causing problems if I do not get what he wants." Ollie stated with annoyance.
There was some anger at his friend. his friend who he knew would gladly sell them out if he had to.
Something about it all told her that he and his friend had issues with each other, it was not a surprise. Well, it would not remain one with her when she was able to read the room easily.
There was an issue to be done and an issue between them to solve. Ollie of all people did not at all appear the type to hold grudges when it came down to it all when it was all done.
They had a lot more to deal with for now and then she turned, disturbed now, something about it all had been too much to distract it for now.
They had work left to deal with, a part of work that seemed to bother them all now, they had a lot more to distract them. Both had work left to deal with, a LOT of different pieces of things.
He was unused to this… Something about it all had been too much now, too much for now and it had been too distracted.
They had a lot more to try and think of… Something about it all had been too harsh now at the time as he thought of it.
Something which was becoming harder and harder now. They had plenty of work to deal with for now as he cracked his fingers and then thought of what was growing for now.
They had a lot more to try and think of what was growing on her mind, something to distract it all.
Trivia seemed to be dealt with for now, they had a lot of different ideas to deal with.
They had a lot more to distract something to understand, Ollie knew damn well there were going to be problems with everything when it came down to it, something like more enemies was always going to cause trouble.
This was not going to help, not at all. Something would need to give then.
"How about a detour? You know where we are?" Ollie asked as Trivia signed a 'yes' to him. "Good, let me see if I can type in somewhere to go, I know another market that our friend Maroon does not know about, we go there? We relax we get some work done." Ollie stated before she tapped playfully on his feet.
She thought of what was growing on her mind, this was going to be fun. They had to learn more about each other before they rushed into the vast and howling dark.
Ollie would say nothing, he knew she wanted violence. She wanted blood and to deny her a fight would have been a harsh problem when it came down to it.
Ollie sighed to himself, sucking in a deep breath of air as he realized that what was going on was an issue a problem to distract themselves for now, it had a lot more to do with now.
There was a lot more to understand and to do. He also wanted something beyond power now and a part he could not deal with for now. Trivia was the strongest warrior he had met and he had been too thrown off, for now, he had a lot more to this.
They had a lot more to discuss, to cut through. They also had her father to fight, another enemy to cut down and the fact he seemed to have so many resources was a problem.
Ollie rubbed at his temples, a pain which had been too much too soon. He knew the fair was a part of him and a place he wanted to be, he wanted to be there so well when it came down to it.
He yawned, letting himself slump in his seat. Ollie looked and felt Trivia slump in her seat as well, they were both tired and both were eager to crash it all down on the ground.
He chuckled, knowing that something else had to end it all now, something about it all had torn him down now as he paused to let it come crashing down now and for good.
They had plenty more to distract it all for now as he wanted to relax.
And he needed his mind at ease, on the fight what was growing through it then and there if push came to shove.
Still? At least part of him wanted an end to the antics… A lot more had gone on inside their mind.
They were to go towards a hurricane of trouble either way. If Trivia was going to drag him into the dark? He figured he might as well as pushed it toward what was coming.
He sighed despite himself. If Trivia wanted chaos? Fine, he supposed he could try to deal with it all… They were going to be put through hell.
"You should know very well what comes next. It will be both entertaining… And nightmarish. We are going to have to fight." Trivia sighed to herself as she realized what he meant.
There was something to be said about how she smirked, tapping him on the nose and squirming in the sea like a child who had been trying to play a videogame.
Then again? Ollie could not fault her, she had been too much distracted now, too tired as it came down now.
They had a lot more now as she paused to let it sink in again, tapping on his feet as she paused, tired, and distracted now. She wanted to get into danger more than anything else.
They had a lot more to deal with now, a lot more than before… It would test them and divide them properly.
It was too much now, far beyond the chaos. They had a lot more now and a lot of different ideas now and it had taken too much.
She had been too distracted… And he had been too much now… Far aware of the stakes, of stakes which he could not understand. They would be dealing with something beyond it all.
Trivia seemed to be done at the time being, bored and distracted. They had plenty left to deal with, something beyond the chaos now, an idea like this was more than enough. An idea like this was more than enough.
Ollie only seemed amused at her antics, something within him knew that he also wanted training… To be on top of things.
Something about it all had been distracting for now. She wanted violence, and both did. They had a lot more to distract it all, for now, an idea like this was more.
She had a lot more to deal with… She had a lot more to deal with… Now and good would it end, now and for a good reason would it collapse.
Something like this was too chaotic now. She was too distracted, for now, with an idea of what was growing.
They had a lot more to try and think of… And he needed a fight, something to take the damn edge off.
Now and then? He would let it end slowly… Something about it all had been too odd.
Something to consider. He would need to consider it later when all was said and done, the pain he had endured would not end so easily.
And it was going to hurt, a lot worse… Something within him had cracked, figured everything out.
She tapped on his feet, turned, and leaned backward on his side. He was only curious as to how well it would go… It would need to end well and for a good reason.
They were tiresome. Something had to break and it would come crashing down to the ground… Something within it all?
She had a lot more to deal with. So did he. Ollie let go of the controls, looking over at her.
They had a lot more on their minds. He held the desire to fight and she had the desire to kill. It felt a lot more to try and distract the urge.
He looked over at her, cracking her fingers once more. They had something else to distract them all the way.
"Triv? You mind teaching me some of those moves?" Ollie asked as she looked over at her. "We must train before we fight. The next mission? We must fight a lot of people and I want to know how we fight properly…. That? And I know you want to kick someone's ass and all that." Ollie stated before he shook his head.
He wanted to fight and he wanted to die, he had a lot more left to lose now… Something about it all had been amusing them.
Trivia hummed, looked at him, shook her head, and then paused to let everything slowly yet surely set in.
Ollie was all too much amused now… Both times? Both had been too thrown off.
"Be honest… You want blood and pain… I will get you some… But you are going to have to owe me anyway." Ollie stayed silent before Trivia sighed.
This was too much…. But he loved it, he was enjoying it too much.
"C'mon, training time… Just do not kick my ass enough that I cannot fight by your side," Ollie stated before he smirked.
Trivia smirked, even though he could not see it. She knew better than him what was coming, she knew that the pain and suffering she could bring to the field was something else.
They would fight, she would kill… And she would be able to let it come crashing down.
The pain inside her? it would hurt, she would hurt others… Like her father in response. He had used her, thrown her away, seen her as a damn toy to throw away the second they had gotten what they needed for the time.
Her father would pay, and her father would suffer. The next time something occurred? They would end him with fire.
Trivia had seen what it had been like to be on top. She did not care; she did not want to care and she would not care.
It ended today… With the fire in her heart would be burning it all to pieces.
She looked at Ollie who could not see her and he was tired for now, much too tired.
The boy said nothing as he looked to the side, something that would and could come forward with time and effort…
Granted? There was plenty left to deal with for now but plenty beyond the pale.
Trivia hummed and then shook his head before he looked that he looked to the side.
Trivia was all too distracted for now. She sighed to the side and she tapped upon her legs, she crossed her legs before she looked out the window as she thought of what was growing on her mind.
They had a lot of different ideas for now. Something about it all had bothered them.
She was all too distracted, for now, this was more chaotic. Neo inside her was all too eager to crash through the illusion inside her and she was all too eager to get to work for now as she paused.
They had a lot more to try and think of it all for now. She wanted blood and she would claim it, she would take it, and she would enjoy the fight coming as a shark.
She rolled up her pant cuffs, bored and angry at the type of pants she was wearing. There was something to be done with it all for now as it came crashing down.
She sighed but she knew she could not hate their type of friendship. Ollie cared about her which was more than most could claim.
They were both inside the horizon and they were friends. She wanted more friendship, more pain at the end of it all.
"Tired?" Ollie sighed and then distracted himself before he looked to the side.
This sort of chaos was distracting to himself for now as he cracked a smile once more… They were too thrown off and he was bored now at the end of the day.
"How about we take a day off? I know a little town in Vale. We can get good food and relax. Is that ok with you?" Ollie stated before he sighed to himself as he cracked his fingers.
There was something to deal with… Like them getting food, he could at the least for now manage to relax.
There were a lot of different ideas for now, something about it all bothered him but he could not understand for now.
They had a lot more distractions for now, they had a lot to figure out before the next mission.
Ollie seemed to distract himself, for now, he was beaten down to the ground for now. He paused a little second later as he cracked his fingers, leaning back in his chair.
They had something else to be done, something within them both told them to chill and relax, not the best thing to do but it was not something they could have dealt with so easily when all of it was over.
Yes, it seemed they had plenty of work left to distract them for now and plenty left beyond them all the time at the end of this day and all such days.
Something about it all had been too much for now. Ollie snorted before she looked to the side… They had a lot more to distract them for now.
And to be distracted for now and it had been too much for now. Ollie wanted her to relax as she paused to think that it all had been too much for the time.
Ollie seemed to be distracted for now, something about it all had been too much for him as he tired himself. They had to try and think of what was growing on his mind as he paused to think of it.
There was something to end it for now. Ollie seemed to be distracted for now as he typed in commands for the end of it all.
Ollie thought of what was to grow for now and it had been too much at the end of the day. She amused him but she did entertain him for now as it came crashing down.
(Within 5 minutes later)
Ollie sighed, typed in a few commands and they distracted themselves with thinking of what was to come next for the end of the day.
'Take control, claim it.' Trivia had heard mentally for now.
Ollie sighed to himself as he cracked his fingers, unaware of what was growing on her mind. Trivia frowned, too distracted at the time being with every thought.
Trivia was all too much thrown off when it came to it…. There was something else to deal with now.
'Take it all, take everything, claim it…' Trivia heard as she paused, distracted for now.
She held her head, too tired and too in pain once more. The woman was tired and too dead inside when it was all said and done, she was all too thrown off now… They had plenty of time to think but Trivia knew what was coming to her naturally at the end of the day.
There was something to be said about the pain within her. Trivia seemed to be curious as to what was growing on her mind.
They had a lot more ideas of what to do, to understand for now. it had been something to deal with but something that they had to distract it for now.
She and he were too interested in what was growing in their minds. If Ollie had known about the monster within her? He might have hated her to the end.
They had a lot of different cuts through their minds, scars as she relaxed once more. Ollie sighed and cracked his fingers, leaning back in his seat.
Ollie sighed to himself, rubbing at his temples as he cracked a smile and the Bullhead before slowly started to set itself down towards the ground.
Ollie was all too much to think of. She was all too eager to think of the fights coming up as she relaxed once more and cracked her fingers as she wanted it.
There was something to be said about how insane she was acting; how odd she was being. They had a lot of different things to touch on.
(10 minutes later)
Ollie sighed to himself before he looked to the ground… There was just too much to deal with for now and it was amusing him.
He cracked his fingers, slowly starting to think of what was growing on his mind.
He had a lot of different ideas as to how this would have ended for now… They had a lot more differences to address for now.
"Ok… So, first things first? We go deal with getting some new clothes because otherwise? People are going to shoot at us and as fun as it is to beat them up? We both know they eventually will shoot us dead." Ollie stated before he sighed to himself.
Trivia was silent, she would remain silent… They were both eager to act at the time being.
They were both going to need to act sooner or later… Right now? She had nothing but work left to deal with but she wanted work left alone now… Right now? Trivia thought better of what was going through her mind.
She had a lot of different ideas as to what was occurring for now… Something about it all had bothered her and cut her mind as she thought for now what she would do.
They had a lot more cutting through her mind… Something about it all had come crashing down to the ground.
The girl within her? The soldier within her? It was cutting her mind apart, she wanted to paint the streets red with blood from her father's soldiers, to paint the entire world in the anger she had within her.
They had a lot more to try and think when it came down to it as they thought of what was growing on his mind.
She was chaotic, yet? She wanted to think but she was alone within her thoughts. There were a lot of goals she looked forward to thinking of what was growing on her mind.
Trivia pushed these thoughts aside; she would continue to grow for now. She did not at all know what was growing on her mind.
She knew something was growing for now so she paused to try and control it.
Ollie at some point knew better than to relax for now, something that they tried for now… He needed a break; they all needed a break.
Something about this was going onward now, it was too much now, and something beyond the chaos was affecting him.
He would have dealt with this for now… They were all too bothered inside… Ollie felt sick right now, too curious as to what was growing on his mind.
Ollie felt almost like puking once more, right now. He had a lot of questions he could deal with, he felt like he had goosebumps all over his body.
His mind was growing with possibilities he could not commit to, ideas that did not work. There was kindness within him… Something that could and should be broken.
That did not track it, could not be. It did not work and it could not… Neo continued to tap on his feet, bored… She was tired and he was running out of damned things to deal with when all of it was said and done.
They had so much left to deal with. Ollie felt like he was trapped inside a spinning tunnel, one where he could not escape, where he said something was not being stopped… Right now? He had no real idea, none when it was all said and done.
Something like this was to deal with for now as he cracked his fingers. Right now? There was certainly something within him that had yet to break entirely.
Yes, it seemed chaos was something he could deal with properly, broken enough that even at his worst? He could not have understood himself.
Right now? That which did not kill him? it would find madness somewhere else now… There was a lot of pain and suffering within him and this did not help.
"Triv? I need you to know something, that whatever comes next? It just is not going away." Ollie stated, too tired now.
It felt very odd now, too much had been too distracting for them both. Right now? They had plenty left to fear, plenty beyond what was to deal with now and always.
Ollie did not know what was growing on his mind, one which was not capable of such things… And it hurt.
Granted? Ollie was doing his best. It just did not matter too much.
Granted? This hurt too damn much.
