(Beavis and Butt-Head are sitting in a theater, watching a performance of the Book of Mormon musical)
Beavis: (excitedly) Yeah, yeah, this is gonna be so cool!
Butt-Head: (equally excited) Yeah, yeah, I heard it's like, totally funny!
(On stage, the actors are performing a scene set in Uganda)
Beavis: (laughing) Look at those guys! They're like, totally weird!
Butt-Head: (laughing) Yeah, yeah, and their accents are so funny!
(On stage, the characters start singing and dancing)
Beavis: (singing along) "Hasa Diga Eebowai... Hasa Diga Eebowai"!
Butt-Head: (also singing along) "Hasa Diga Eebowai... Hasa Diga Eebowai"!
(They both continue laughing and making fun of the musical's characters and songs)
Beavis: (giggling) This is so cool! I love making fun of this stuff!
Butt-Head: (laughing) Yeah, yeah, it's like, totally the best!
(As the musical ends and the actors take their bows)
Beavis: (applauding sarcastically) Yeah, yeah, great job! That was so cool!
Butt-Head: (also applauding sarcastically) Yeah, yeah, totally awesome!
(Van Driessen gets up and walks out of the theater, looking disturbed)
Van Driessen: (to Beavis and Butt-Head) Boys, I need to talk to you about this musical.
Beavis: (confused) What's wrong, Mr. Van Driessen?
Van Driessen: (concerned) Well, I think it's offensive towards Ugandans.
Butt-Head: (laughing) What? No way, Mr. Van Driessen! It's just a joke!
Van Driessen: (serious) I don't think it's funny, boys. I think it's disrespectful to make fun of someone's culture and beliefs like that.
Beavis: (defensive) But Mr. Van Driessen, it's just a musical! Don't be so sensitive!
Van Driessen: (firmly) I understand that, Beavis, but that doesn't mean we should tolerate offensive behavior. We need to be respectful of all people, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Butt-Head: (sarcastically) Yeah, yeah, Mr. Van Driessen, you're so PC.
Van Driessen: (sternly) That's enough, Butt-Head. This isn't a joke. We need to take responsibility for our actions and how they affect others.
(Scene fades to black)
