The Demon Slayers moved through the other Hashira's Training far faster than Tanjuro's, despite the difficulty of that as well. The Hashira themselves trained with each other as well. Things seemed to be going smoothly now. But something felt very wrong to Tanjuro. He knew it. Something bad was going to happen. Several months later his bad feelings were proven right, when Tanjuro got a letter from Amane telling him that the Kakushi would be taking Kie and all of the children, except the Butterfly girls, to a special Safe House, but that he wasn't to mention anything to anyone else.

It was at that point that Tanjuro knew that Muzan's attack and the Ubuyashiki parents sacrifice was days away. He was truly glad that he'd managed to convince Kagaya to spare all of his children, but he was worried that the man's sacrifice might have a bad effect on the Corps members. Even so, the couple had made up their minds about this. They were determined to sacrifice themselves to ensure their children and so many others could live. Tanjuro knew he had no right to try to change the Ubuyashiki's minds when they wanted to right their family's mistake with their own lives.

So, Tanjuro said nothing to the other Hahsira, especially as he restarted his Training for them only. As Tanjuro trained them, he saw Tanjiro leaving the Love Estate. "Tanjiro? Where are you going?" he asked. "I have a letter from the Master. He want's me to try to talk to Mr Tomioka about participating in the Hashira Training too" his Oldest Son explained. "Okay. I'll see you later, okay?" Tanjuro replied. Tanjiro nodded with a smile, and waved goodbye to him as he left. Mitsuri, Obanai, Gyomei and Kyojuro fought against each of his Demons, and Tanjuro was amazed at Gyomei's fighting style in particular, with the man being blind and all.

As he continued the training, his Son returned with a sad expression on his face. "Tanjiro? What happened?" Tanjuro asked in concern. "Mr Tomioka isn't participating in the Training. He has a very low Self-Esteem, and doesn't think he deserves to be a Hashira, much less able to make the Demon Slayers strong enough to Fight Upper Ranks or Muzan" Tanjiro explained, "I don't think I could convince him to take part Father. I'm sorry" he said. Tanjuro pat his Oldest Son on the head, "don't worry about it Son. It's his choice weather to take part or not. We can't force him" he replied. Instead, Tanjuro focused on his opponents. Gyomei had beaten Hakuji in record time and was now ready to face him.

The Demon King knew this man's reputation as the strongest in the Corps, and he was actually excited about training with him. As they faced each other, the giant of a man bowed to him, which Tanjuro returned, even if Gyomei couldn't see that part. He was sure that Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira would be far stronger than he expected. After all, he had never seen the man fight. Gyomei straightened up and removed his Happi coat. Then he pulled out a massive spiked ball and axe, connected by a chain. Tanjuro drew his Sword and took a deep breath, as his blade glowed bright red with his Demonic Flames.

Then the two powerful men shot towards each other with such force that it shattered the ground under them. Tanjuro swung at Gyomei, but the Hashira threw his axe to deflect the attack. The only reason the Demon didn't lose his sword was his superhuman grip strength. The force of the attack dislocated his shoulder, surprising the Kamado Demon. He had known Gyomei was massively powerful, judging by the huge muscles the Hashira sported, but to dislocate his shoulder with the force of his attack! Tanjuro's arm healed in an instant, and he disappeared with his speed.

Gyomei stilled and waited. Tanjuro attacked from behind, igniting his blade again, but the blind man dodged it. 'Amazing!' Tanjuro thought. They exchanged a flurry of blows, each one moving faster and faster. Suddenly, both the axe and flail swung at him from both sides, trying to catch him in a pincer move. Tanjuro sacrificed his other arm as he jumped away. As his blood dripped from the wound, The Demon King grinned, "wow! That was a great attack Mr Himajima!" he said excitedly, his wound healing as his old arm disintegrated. "You are every bit as strong as I heard as well" Gyomei replied, his voice deep and strong.

"Continue?" Tanjuro asked. "Of course" the former Monk replied easily.

The training continued into the night, the hot summer air warming them up. Suddenly, Tanjuro froze, his senses going haywire. "Can you feel that?" he asked lowly, gripping his sword tighter. Gyomei tensed as well, turning in the direction the awful Demonic Aura was coming from, "that's not one of yours," he said tensely. "No, it's definitely not" Tanjuro said darkly, glowing red eyes turned to slits, and veins bursting all over his body as he began to growl. "Tanjuro. Tell me. Is this Demon-" Gyomei began to ask, before Tanjuro cut him off, his voice full of cold fury, but his blood full of fire, "it's Muzan Kibutsuji!"

As Tanjuro and the Stone Hashira ran through the Headquarters to reach the Main House, Tanjuro's Demons joined them. "Lord Tanjuro! Muzan is here!" Hakuji cried, Compass glowing beneath his feet as he ran. "I know! We have to hurry! Akemi's vision-" Tanjuro was cut off as a massive explosion lit up the night with bright yellow and red. "MASTER!" Mitsuri screamed from somewhere behind them, as Tanjuro felt the Hashira's rage fill the air from every corner. Tanjuro leapt forwards, the glow of flames and the massive cloud of black smoke filling the night sky clear and visible to his eyes.

Finally, Tanjuro reached the burning remains of the Ubuyashiki's Mansion, seeing the burning mass of flesh healing itself in the middle of the wreckage. Tanjuro knew that Kagaya and Amane were dead. There was no way for them to have survived this. His burning red eyes were currently locked on Muzan, as his clothes, which seemed to be part of his form, grew back over him. Veins bulged all over Tanjuro's body, and a vicious snarl rose in his throat. Suddenly, the other Demon's gaze snapped up to his and two sets of hate-filled red eyes met, yet Tanjuro's held a burning protective glow to them.

Tanjuro drew his sword, more than ready to kill this Bastard once and for all. NO-ONE else would die at Muzan's hand, he would make sure of it. Muzan's eyes roamed over the Demon standing with Tanjuro, his face falling into a slightly calmer expression, "well, I see that the worthless traitors whop abandoned me have joined you. How disgusting. You've all fallen so low. Especially you Akaza. And after I had such high hopes for you" Muzan spoke. Hakuji growled, "that is not my name! And all I want from you is for you to die and spare the world anymore misery!" he snapped. "Calm down Hakuji. He's trying to make you angry" Tanjuro said, voice firm and calm.

"I know" the black-haired Demon replied, taking a deep breath. As he calmed himself, Tanjuro glared at him, "we are going to kill you and your remaining Demons. By the end of the night, my Demons and I will be the only ones left" he said firmly. Suddenly Muzan jolted, and Tamayo appeared behind him to everyone's shock. "What?! She wasn't there before?!" Iguro said in shock, narrowing his eyes. Tanjuro's eyes widened when he saw that the other Demon woman had shoved her hand into Muzan's back.

"I just injected you with a dose of the cure of Demonization! No matter what happens, you are going to die tonight Muzan Kibutsuji!" Tamayo screamed furiously. Before anyone could do anything else, Shoji doors opened up underneath them. "What?!" Kyojuro yelped in shock. As they all fell through, several dozen Crows flew through the doors as well before the doors closed. And vanished.
