happy reading!!
Oh, and there is SMUT. Duh...
Harvey affixed the yellow sticky note with the special date on it to his bathroom mirror at home for two reasons:
one, he didn't want Donna to know he knew, and two, he wasn't sure he would even attend. In other words, he didn't want to commit and he didn't want to disappoint her if he didn't show up.
Which, in all, is pretty indicative of their relationship thus far.
He was drinking his morning coffee on the balcony and ruminating over the last couple of days. The Cahill predicament was becoming more than a thorn in his side and he was getting irritated with it all.
Not to mention his current status with Mike and the Logan Sanders deal. It was a cluster fuck of a week so far and he didn't know if he had the bandwidth to deal with his emotional connection to Donna.
He checked his watch, took one final swig of his coffee and headed out the door to start his day.
Donna was a nervous wreck earlier in the week, worried about whether she knew her lines well enough for opening night. She didn't know if she was ready, and that unnerved her.
Thankfully, Louis had caught her rehearsing lines in the file room and was able to help. Apparently, Louis has an intense love for Shakespeare and memorized the entire play.
The best part—on the show's second night—Louis was a stand-in. Their entire interaction helped Donna keep her mind off things, at least for a couple of days.
And by things, she meant Harvey.
He had been grouchy and on edge the last few days and she even grappled with the idea that he might have been avoiding her on purpose. But when it came to Harvey, things were never simple and sometimes she had a difficult time reading him.
Overall, since the bathroom incident a couple of months ago, things have been—for the most part—oddly normal. They hadn't talked about it per se—besides a string of text messages from one another two days later—but then Cahill happened and he pulled away.
But then, just like that, it changed. And he surprised her.
And now, her eyes were fixed on the beautiful flowers in her dressing room that Harvey had hid behind his back just hours earlier. He had looked all sorts of handsome when Donna saw him and she couldn't help but be enamored by his grand gesture.
She sighed to herself as she fixed her hair, remembering the words he told her before he opened the Lexus car door and whisked her away to her closing night.
I'm a Donna fan.
The only thing I got going on tonight is you.
That he did.
Because, at the moment, he was in the audience. Proudly sitting in the front row. She thought her brain would explode if she tried to make sense of it all— make sense of them and their relationship.
"Three minutes to showtime, Donna," the young woman shouted from behind her dressing room door, pulling her back to the present.
"Here goes nothing," she mumbled to herself as she made her way toward stage left.
Breathtaking.
It was the one word that popped into his head every time he saw her perform on stage.
Harvey couldn't believe how good she was. He really shouldn't have been surprised; after all, she was Donna Paulsen. And she was the most incredible woman he knew.
A tinge of guilt welled up inside him, knowing she had given up acting for the firm— for him. But one thing he knew about Donna was that she wasn't much for regret. She'd made the decision to stay and that was it for her.
The crowd gave the cast a standing ovation and he swore they cheered louder when she took her curtain call. His eyes locked on hers when she bowed and her face radiated joy. He'd never been more proud of her.
He just wanted to be with her.
After their time together in the bathroom weeks ago, he'd been hit with a series of situations that left him depleted and aggravated. In the end, he was glad he made it to her play, and he was more glad he was able to spend time with her before the night was over.

Harvey waited for Donna outside the small theater, leaning against the black Lexus sedan. As soon as he saw her, he rushed over.
"Are you sure you want to come with me to this?" Donna asked him.
Her hands were full when he met her halfway on the sidewalk. "Yes, I'm sure!" He replied matter-of-fact and then motioned to her full arms, "Give me that, will ya?"
Donna handed him her duffle bag. "Not these. I'll carry these." She said with a smile as she kept the bouquet of flowers he had given her before the show in her hand.
Harvey smiled. "You know I picked those out myself."
"I figured as much. I'm usually the one doing the gift buying and I know you wouldn't dare ask Norma." Donna giggled at the thought, then continued, "You know Harvey, I am very impressed."
Beaming from her compliment, he opened the passenger door. "Thanks," he said.
Donna smiled warmly and crawled inside the car, placing the flowers at her feet once she settled in the seat. She freshened her makeup and pulled her hair into a side ponytail that left one shoulder exposed.
Harvey watched as she applied her lip stick. He had to fight the urge to kiss her right then and there.
"You look beautiful," he told her, his eyes still fixed on her.
Donna closed her compact. Her cheeks turned a rosey pink from his compliment. She grabbed his hand and lightly squeezed it. "Thanks, Harvey."
Just then, the car stopped in front of Chumley's, a swanky bar in the west village.
Harvey (minus his tie; he had removed it hours ago) exited first, holding the car door open for Donna. Once she exited the vehicle, he tapped the roof and Ray drove away.
"Ready?" He said, holding his arm out.
"Lead the way," she said, threading her arm through his. She leaned into his body and they walked inside the bougie speakeasy.
Most of the cast had already arrived and when they saw Donna and Harvey walk in, they stood holding their drinks up in the air, cheering for her.
Harvey smiled and squeezed her hand. "I've got to be the luckiest guy here. Escorting the obvious star of the show."
"Obviously."
He smirked and chuckled and her quick-witted return.
Seconds later, a young woman walked over and hugged Donna. She turned to Harvey then looked back at Donna. "Who's your boyfriend?" She asked.
Donna, clearly taken aback. "Oh, he's... "
Harvey interrupted her before she could offer a redirect.
"Harvey. I'm Harvey, and you are?" He held his hand out in greeting, his big Cheshire cat smile plastered across his face.
The woman took his hand. "Amy, nice to meet you, Harvey."
Donna was speechless. She watched as Amy swooned over Harvey as he engaged her in simple pleasantries. She asked Harvey what his line of work was and Donna was glad he didn't lie about being a lawyer.
Amy winked at Donna. "Okay, I can see why you've been keeping him a secret. He's charming and by the looks of him, a little bit of trouble."
Donna giggled. "Oh, you have no idea."
Amy laughed and Harvey playfully rolled his eyes.
The three of them chatted for several minutes before Harvey suddenly pulled his cell phone out, waving it in the air.
"Excuse me, I need to make a phone call."
With worry in her voice, Donna turned to him. "Harvey, is everything okay?"
Harvey wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her in close, then kissed her forehead. "Yes, everything is okay." He told her. "Don't worry." Then he walked away, out of Donna's line of sight.
But worrying is what she did. She couldn't help but wonder if it was Mike, Cahill, or Logan and none of those men were at the top of Harvey's list right now.
"How long have you two been together?" Amy asked, pulling Donna from her thoughts.
"Hmm?"
"You and Harvey. How long?"
"Ohhh, right. I've been with Harvey now for 10 years."
She wasn't lying, and maybe it should have caused Donna to pause at how easy it was to pretend she and Harvey were dating. But she had zero intentions of stepping into the significance of her response.
Amy nodded. Took a gulp of her IPA. "I knew it. You can tell that you both have been together for some time. You both seem so natural together. I can tell he really loves you."
"You can?" Donna wanted as much insight from Amy as she would give.
"Oh yeah, for sure." Amy pulled Donna to a corner wall as if she were getting ready to share the key to the universe with her.
"My mother was an artist and my father was an investment banker. They've been married for forty years. The way my father looked at my mother—I hope to find someone who looks at me the way my dad looks at my mom."
Amy sighed longingly, then added. "You know, Harvey looks at you the same way."
Amy took another swig of her beer and Donna was starting to suspect that Amy's observations might have been motivated by alcohol.
"Anyway, I'm pretty good at telling if people are meant to be together. And you two are made for each other."
Donna returned an awkward smile. If her feelings for Harvey weren't complicated enough, Drunk Amy's declaration just added fuel to the fire.
Just then, Harvey came walking up. "There you are; I was looking all over for you."
"Oh, sorry, Amy… "
Amy interrupted Donna before she could finish. "I was just going over some ideas I had for our next performance. We're doing Streetcar."
Harvey nodded.
"Well, you two, I have to scoot. Nice meeting you, Harvey. Take care of this one; she's a hot commodity. There are going to be some disappointed men and women tonight."
Amy pulled Donna in for a hug and kissed her on the cheek.
Once Amy had disappeared around the corner, Donna turned to Harvey, her back against the wall.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes. Everything is fine. I just used the excuse for a phone call to speak to the bartender."
Donna was relieved. But her relief was quickly traded for confusion. Harvey continued, "I told him to put all the cast drinks on my tab. I want to pay for it all."
"That's very generous of you, Harvey. You don't have to do that, you know."
"I know I don't. I want to."
He gently took her hand in his and Donna wondered if this is what it would be like to be Harvey Specter's girlfriend. Her stomach flipped and her thighs warmed as he gently pulled her in close.
His scent was intoxicating and when he spoke his voice caused her breath to hitch.
"Donna, I don't want to think about anything else tonight. I just want this night to be about you and celebrating your accomplishments."
She rested one hand on his chest and the warmth from his body grounded her to him.
"I don't know what to say."
She had plenty she wanted to say and ask, but not tonight.
Tonight, she'd play along.
Tonight, she would take what he could give.
Harvey pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear and suddenly the crowded bar seemed to dissipate in the distance. It was only her and Harvey.
"You know I want to kiss you, right?" He said, with a sexy, lower register than before.
Donna swallowed hard. "Yes. I know."
Harvey tilted his head and she prepared herself for his soft lips to crash into hers. He leaned in, inches from her face, and she could feel his warm breath on her face.
She closed her eyes.
"Wait a minute."
She opened her eyes in confusion. "What?"
"What did Amy mean when she said there were going to be disappointed people tonight?"
Donna's cheeks warmed. "Oh nothing."
"No, I would say she meant something." He was still holding her hand and his thumb was rubbing her knuckles.
She dropped her head, laughing, then looked up and said, "Harvey, are you jealous?"
"Maybe… I don't know."
Donna tilted her head and smiled shyly. "There are a couple of cast members who have a crush on me."
"She said men and women."
"Yes, that she did."
Harvey raised one eyebrow. "Interesting… "
"Are you going to kiss me or what?"
"Fuck yes, and hopefully your would-be sutors catch a glimpse of us sucking face." He teased.
He pulled her in flush against his body, one hand settled at her lower back and the other still holding her hand. He smiled his famous specter smile and she returned a come-hither grin.
Flirting was their forte.
Harvey kissed her. And it didn't take long for them to find their perfect rhythm. Donna pushed her thigh between his legs and he moaned into her mouth. Pulling her in closer as they took their time exploring one another's mouths with their tongues.

They spent the rest of the night mingling with several cast members. Donna loved the way his eyes sparkled when he would look at her and there were several times throughout the evening that Harvey's hand was either at the small of her back, on her thigh when they sat, or around her waist. He was never far from her and Donna felt safe and grounded in the possibility of what could be.
"Thanks for coming with me tonight. I had an incredible time." Donna whispered into his ear, as they both settled into the back of a taxi Harvey had hailed effortlessly.
Harvey's heart sank. He didn't want to think about the night ending. If he could have stretched the night into eternity, he would have.
He had loved watching her talk and laugh with her friends. He studied every one of her nuances. The way she flipped her hair before she had something grand to say.
The way she giggled and huffed when he said something funny. But mostly the way she looked at him. He swore to himself that he was imagining things, but if ever there was a time that he felt like he was the most important person in the room, it was during this night, at this bar, at this moment.
"Hey," Donna said. "Whatcha thinking?"
Her voice was easy and it always made him feel calm.
"Nothing. Just thinking how grateful I am to have been able to take you."
"Hmm," she said and yawned.
She didn't seem convinced but arguably she was exhausted and didn't have the energy to push him. He sighed a breath of relief. He didn't want to get into that conversation. Not now, anyway.
Why couldn't they be like this all the time?
Without words. Without labels.
Without rules.
Harvey walked Donna to her apartment. And when they arrived to her door, his palms were sweating and his heart was racing. Anticipating the question and his answer.
But this time she didn't invite him in; this time she turned around and fell into his arms. He pulled her in close. And when she looked up, her cheeks were stained with tears.
His heart ached and he worried about her current emotional state. There was concern on his face. "Donna.. I… "
"No, Harvey. It's okay. These are happy tears. For what it's worth, I had an incredible night."
He pulled her in for another hug. But what he really wanted to do was pull her into another lifetime.
A lifetime where they were always like this.
Together.
"I'd ask you in. And you have no idea how bad I want to...but... " her voice trailed into his arm.
"Oh, I have an idea," he said with a sad smirk.
They broke their embrace.
"Of course you do," she said, as she lightly patted his chest.
"I'll text you when I get home. Okay?"
"Okay, I'll wait up."
"Good night, Donna."
"Good night."
And just like that, reality came crashing down.
When Harvey arrived home, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and texted Donna. He made a bee line to his bedroom. Undressed and quickly took a shower. He threw on a pair of sleep pants and slipped into bed, thinking about how much nicer it would be if she was with him.
He picked up his phone from the nightstand and saw that he had missed a text from Donna. With bated breath, he unlocked the phone and read the message.
Thanks again for coming with me tonight. You sure do know how to make a girl feel special.
Harvey smiled.
Not just any girl. You. and you deserve it and more.
No response. Harvey assumed she most likely fell asleep. He reached over and turned the lamp off.
His phone buzzed.
His heart skipped a beat.
I think you have a few extra admirers after tonight.
Harvey rolled his eyes. None of the women even came close to her.
Yeah, well, I wasn't interested in them.
He cringed at his reply and instantly regretted what he said. But not wanting to take it back.
Still stuck in the evening. Still bathing in his Donna high.
Who were you interested in?
Who do you think?
A question with a question, how very lawyerly of you.
He smirked.
Several minutes went by and he was just about to settle in. when his phone buzzed again.
Harvey
Yeah
I can't sleep; I keep thinking of you.
What about me?
Your lips on mine. The way your hands were on me all night.
It's all I can think about, too.
Tell me, Harvey. Tell me, what do you think about? Tell me what you want to do to me.
Fuck.
Tell me. Please, Harvey.
Her text caused his body to burn with desire. He slid his sleep pants off and spit in his palm. Then he cradled the base of his dick, slowly at first moving his hand up and down. Only thinking of her.
Then he stopped, semi-hard now. He let out a long moan at the loss of sensation.
He texted her back.
I want to touch every inch of your naked body. I want to put my mouth on your skin and taste it.
More. Tell me more. I want to do it. I want to do what you tell me to do.
Harvey placed his hand on his shaft once more. His forearm flexed as he moved his hand up and down, the pressure of his come rushing from his balls. But he didn't want to release just yet.
I would start at your mouth. Kiss it until it is swollen and raw. Then I would move to your shoulders, then your breasts.
The thought of his mouth on her breast made his hand go faster. He pushed back against his headboard, and he put his feet on the bed.
More Harvey, please. I am so wet.
SHIT. He groaned at the thought of her laying in bed, her wet pussy. He wanted to eat her, slurp her, taste her and devour her. His hand moved faster still. Then he stopped.
"FUCK!" he yelled.
Teetering on the edge made his balls ache and his dick release pre-come. He used it to lather his throbbing member.
Harvey, my nipples are so hard right now. Harvey. Please, I am so close. Tell me more.
He closed his eyes, pumping a few times before he texted her back.
I would suck your nipples and lick every inch of your beautiful breasts. Then I would move down to your stomach, then your pussy. IT would be MY pussy.
The thought of Donna's legs spreading open for his mouth sent his mind on overdrive, and he had to grasp the side of the bed while his body involuntary jerked at the thought.
Harvey. My fingers are inside of me. I'm so wet and warm. I can't stop thinking of your mouth sucking my clit.
Every inch of his body was on fire. He wanted to finish; he was bordering on pain. But he wanted her to go first. He wanted Donna to come.
I would eat you out until every inch of your body was pulsating with pleasure. DON'T stop touching yourself.
Seconds later, the phone rang. It was Donna.
"Donna… "
Her voice was hushed and breathy. " Harvey. I'm so close. I wanted to hear your voice."
His mind went into overdrive. "If I were there, you'd scream my name. My fingers would be inside you, twirling and pushing against your warm and perfect pussy… Donna, the way you feel makes me want to come. I would have… "
"Ohhhh, Harveyyyyy… here I… oh god…. here I comeeee…"
Her voice trailed, as she must have dropped her cell as her body took over. That was all Harvey needed. He tossed the phone on the bed and grabbed the base of his dick and in needy desperation, his hand moved up and down.
Faster and faster.
His grip tightened at the top, squeezing the sensitive part at every thrust. He dug his feet into the bed. His toes curled as his load made its way to his tip.
Thinking only of Donna and her perfect spongy pussy contracting around his hard dick now.
Harvey groaned at the vivid thought.
He yelled her name as he worked himself over, sending his hot releasing shooting out. Every fiber in Harvey's body quivered and burned with unbridled ecstasy as he soared past his edge.
Minutes later, his brain reconnected to the present, remembering that he threw the phone. He felt around the bed, searching for his cell.
When he saw she was still on the line, he pressed the speaker.
"Hey."
A sultry return. "Hmhmm. How are you?"
"Better. You?"
"I'm good, Harvey."
"Donna… "
"I know, Harvey. Good night."
"Good night. Sweet dreams."
Another sweetly sounding hum from Donna, then silence.
