Chapter 2
Part 1
Shortly after our shared bath Megumin and I got changed and went to our room
"Megumin are you sure you want to share a room with this Loli-NEET"
Aqua said with a worried expression as if I would do anything to Megumin!
"Aqua's right Megumin even if you're from the future its still Kazuma you know"
"Just leave them be Darkness I shared a room with Megumin before didn't I"
My past-self tried to justify me sleeping with Megumin while looking at past-Megumin
"Well, it's true we did sleep together during our last night but you did try to do something the first time you know!"
"W-W-Well you set me up I mean who says 'You really won't do anything? It's just the two of us here' and expect a developing young boy not to react!"
As our past-selves, Aqua, and Darkness continued to argue Megumin and I entered the room Megumin laid in the bed I followed suite laying on the bed Megumin used my arm as a pillow
The moon light lit the face of Megumin as she and I stared at each other we have been at it for quite some time now
Megumin suddenly moved closer and hugged me seeing her take the initiative I put my hand on her hair, she copied my action
Feeling the cool and damp hair of megumin reminds me of her confession… now that I think about it, I never really confessed my feelings
"Hey Megumin"
"What is it Kazuma?"
"You know I love you right, and well I think you cute beautiful and smart despite your crazy- OW OW AHH MEGUMIN I'M SORRY SORRY!"
Megumin pouted and pinched my stomach which hurt quite abit due to our level difference, Megumin then look at me, her eyes flared a slight crimson
I gave her an apologetic smile, seeing my reaction Megumin let out a little giggle
"Let me do that again *ahem*, I love you Megumin, I love how beautiful and cute you are, I love your dedication to explosion magic, I love how smart you are, and I love your chuunibyou self I-I just can get enough of you although it took me some time but I realized that I love you not because of your body, but because I love, you…"
Megumin blushed and buried her head in my chest
"I love you too kazuma…"
she hugged me tighter as she was so close making me suddenly snap back to reality
That was so embarrassing! ahh damn it my pent-up urges, wait a minute megumin and I are dating right, so it would be fine if we do it that's right I'm her boyfriend after all!
Wait I can't just suddenly make a move she might hate me!
I thought on and on a hundred thoughts spinning in my head

I gathered my thoughts and I decide to go for it

She's completely asleep… Maybe I should go a certain shop today wait its closed at this hour
The next day
I woke up next to a peacefully sleeping Megumin still hugging me although with a loosened grip
I carefully got out of her grasp and quietly stepped out of the bed and out of our room, I notice a groggy past-Megumin still in her pajamas
"Good morning Megu-chan~"
I tried to tease her abit
Past-Megumin cringed at me and said in an angry tone
"What did you say? 'Megu-chan' was what you said right what is this perverted man saying!"
"Sorry sorry it was a joke hehe"
I hurried apologized though I could not contain my laugh
"*Sigh* that's strange kazuma you don't usually wake up early?"
"Uhh well people change you know plus I'm from the future, I'll make breakfast today I want to show off how good my cooking is"
I said with a playful tone as I moved to the kitchen Megumin followed and moved to the couch
Moving swiftly, I cut the vegetables I was extra careful because I'm handling tomatoes
"By the way kazuma what do you plan to do today?"
"Well, I planned to go to Wiz's shop and have a talk with Vanir"
"Is that so… hey are you going to take my future self for my daily explosion, right?"
Her eyes began to glow a slight crimson
"W-well yeah why are you asking?"
Why do I get a feeling like I did something unnecessary
"Of course I'm asking, it's a double explosion kazuma! I won't miss my chance!"
With a burst of energy Past-Megumin said that and is exited to do a double explosion with her future self, then Darkness walked down along with a sleepy Megumin
"Good morning Kazuma, eh why are you so exited Megumin?"
"Well, I wanted to do a double explosion Darkness think about it although me and Wiz did a double explosion to defeat the mobile fortress it's a once in a lifetime experience to do it with myself!"
Megumin who been listening into past-Megumin and Darkness conversation suddenly had lively and exited look she stared at her past-self then at me
"Sigh sure we can go after I to the Wiz's shop"
Megumin gave me a warm smile
We had breakfast that I cooked and of course the food I created was just delicious the others seemed to think so Aswell A hearty meal for the day ahead of us
"I'll go make us some snacks to eat after your special explosion"
"Great idea Kazuma!"
I'll make frog meat sandwiches for us
Part 2
Darkness and past Megumin decided to go first and wait there for us while me and Megumin went to Wiz's shop
At the door of Wiz's shop, me and Megumin were standing in front I opened the door to be greeted by Wiz and Vanir
"Ah Kazuma-san Megumin-san welcome, do you want to buy anything?"
"Ah Wiz can I have a cup of tea"
Megumin said while sitting and looking at the products as I went to talk with Vanir in the side
"Hoh if it isn't the brat or should I say the brat in some time in the future"
Vanir had already read my mind so he should know our situation with Megumin
"You probably already know this but do you know that ring you gave me"
"No Moi has not found that particular ring yet although Moi believes that the ring does not exist in this timeline"
"Why so?"
I asked wondering why won't there be a past version of the ring
"It seems like you don't understand brat, Moi is saying that are no other ring like that in this timeline"
"Yeah, I heard you the first time but what does that mean"
Vanir now visibly annoyed showed me a puppet presentation
"See here brat, there is a wall between my two puppets but suddenly one of them travels through to the other side, but as it moves through the puppet that was originally there was absorbed into the traveling puppet meaning there is no longer a puppet that originated from this side of the wall and having only one puppet remain"
I see now is the ring in this timeline fused with the ring from the future
"Take this item brat this may help you not far in the future when you go to the capital"
Vanir gave me a gold amulet with a red jewel
"I see, by the way why are you helping us without asking for anything for return?"
"Oh, so does the brat want to pay for everything he does within the premises of the shop? Sigh, brat even devils can have a heart here and there"
I feel like there is an ulterior motive at play here
I though putting the amulet in my pocket
"Well, you're not entirely wrong brat but now is not the time for that go now don't you have a double date?"

Vanir savored on my dark emotions before escorting us out of his shop
"Did you get what you wanted kazuma?"
"Well for the most part no but I got some clues and a strange amulet"
Looks like there is something that's going to happen in the capital huh
We moved on to our meeting spot where Darkness and past Megumin are waiting for us
"Kazuma, Megumin over here!"
Darkness waved at me and Megumin
"You prepared the picnic blanket huh"
Darkness seemed proud as I set out snacks on the blanket
"Well, I guess it's time huh me"
"Of course, future-me let's start, how about we use the chant when we first revealed our explosion to the party"
"Very well now then *ahem*"
The two Megumin's struck a pose then together they chanted
"Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark, I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson"
The mana began concentrating on their staffs
"The time of awakening cometh"
"Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortions!"
The magic formed on both I could feel how intense this one is going to be
"I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force: a destructive force without equal!"
"Return all creation to cinders, and come from the abyss!"
Letting out the magic the two Megumin's struck a pose
"Explosion!"
Two 'BOOMS!' rang out as the water from the lake comes down like rain, I could see that one is stronger leaving a bigger impact
The two Megumin's collapse
"Haa~ that was good"
"Hee~ I agree past-me, hey kazuma can you rate our explosions?"
"Hmm well if I had to rate then I would give it 97 points the beautiful pillar of fire and the general size of the explosion the delayed vibrations that hit my skin and to top it all of the majestic rain that came after and hey there is even some fish, Nice bakuretsu!"
"Nice bakuretsu"
Megumin and I thumbs up then I faced her past self to give her my assession of her weaker explosion
"Well, how is my explosion kazuma…"
I pondered because this was past-Megumin her explosion was noticeably weaker but I should give her points just because she is not as strong as her future-self
"Well normally it would have been an 84 but because you are weaker than your future self and for the fact you were able to make an equally beautiful explosion, I give you 94 points, Nice bakuretsu!"
"Hehe Nice bakuretsu"
After that I went to pick up megumin and Darkness went to pick up past Megumin with
In the picnic blanket we ate our snacks that I prepared, but suddenly Darkness in a serious tone asked me
"Umm kazuma I have a serious two question and please answer it don't try to dodge it"
I pondered what could it be that Darkness was so serious about wait could it be she is going to ask about our relationship or if I am still single! I'm sorry Darkness I'm a man who is faithful
I remembered that Darkness liked me although if Megumin allowed it then… probably predicting what I am thinking Megumin gave me a death stare

"Well can you tell me about the demon king and how you defeated him? And how do you know a princes Iris"
"Ahh that's what you're asking, well first of all he was really strong even a weaken demon king I could only defeat him because I used explosion"
A puzzled Darkness tilted her head and the two Megumin's had a shocked expression
Right, I haven't told Megumin that well nothing I can do about it now that I said that
"By explosion you mean Megumin was the one who casted it right?"
"No no no Darkness when Kazuma defeated the demon king it was a one on one I told you that didn't I!"
The girls now wide eyed looked at me
"Hey I could only use explosion with high grade manatite, sigh well looks like were done with this let's go back they are probably waiting for us at the mansion"
Steering the conversation away from the topic I don't want to talk about right now we packed out stuff and went back because tomorrow night iris will send a letter to invite me to share my stories
"Wait I told you not to dodge my question kazuma how do you know Iris-sama"
Darkness said in a serious tone I shrugged and gave her a halfhearted answer
"Well stuff happens and I eventually meet Iris"
Although Darkness wasn't satisfied with my answer, she decided not to ask any more questions packing our things we walked to our mansion
When suddenly out of the bushes Yunyun popped out with a wide-eyed surprised expression
"M-M-Megumin w-why are there two of you!?"
"Ahh Yunyun my rival I'll explain it to you later when we meet again so please get out of the way"
Past-Megumin said trying to avoid answering questions right now
"W-Wait a minute Megumin how did this- ahh don't leave me behind Megumin!"
Yunyun chased us to the mansion trying to get an answer form the two Megumin's
"I get it I get it I'll tell you once were back inside where its harder for people to notice!"
Part 3
"Ehh! You mean that you're from the future!"
"Yes, me and Kazuma came from the future thanks to this demonic ring"
Megumin showed off her ring to Yunyun it probably helped make her explosion stronger
"W-Well I would like to ask umm… do I make any f-f-friends in the future?"
Yunyun said stuttering at the beginning and with the word 'Friends'
"Hmm well you make one friend"
"Really! Who is it Megumin!"
"Who else it's me of course!"
Megumin said out loud with her chest up high it seems she is no longer going to deny her friendship with Yunyun
Yunyun blushed and started to fidget, past-Megumin looked away and stood up walking to the kitchen
"I-I'll go help Darkness"
Past-Megumin moved to assist Darkness
"Well let's stop talking about that Yunyun you have a bright future ahead you know just keep it up"
Megumin then said in a motherly tone
"I always knew that Megumin was waifu material but looks like her motherly side is showing today huh"
I said in a teasing manner
Ignoring my little tease, she bid Yunyun a farewell then came to the couch where I'm sittings she leaned on me
I then hear footsteps coming from upstairs it seems like ether aqua or past-me woke up
Sure, enough my past-self appeared still in my tracksuit behind my past self was Aqua
"Good morning"x2
"It's not morning Kazuma Aqua"
Darkness said while preparing lunch having a fierce battle with a potato
"Do you want to see that side of me all the time? Because I wish to see the fatherly side of Kazuma too you know"
That caught me off guard how could she say those things while our past selves are here!
"Hmm I feel like there is something going on, is there or am I just paranoid?"
Picking up on something my past-self inspected me and Megumin closely when Aqua sat next to Megumin, she used Megumin's lap as a pillow and started to doze off
"Oi Aqua could you not do stupid stuff like that if you wanted to sleep do it in your own bed!"
My past-self scolded Aqua for doing something unnecessary
"Shut it I'm too tired to go back now that I'm down here I might Aswell use Megumin as a lap pillow!"
This girl why did she come down in the first place if she was going to sleep!
My past self suddenly jolted up and with a terrified face scanned his back
Ahh this was when I had the ptsd from sylva, well I wonder if my past-self would still try to be a monk even with me here that's tomorrow though
"Lunch is ready!"
Past-Megumin shouted to get our attention while setting up the table
This I really like this, being laid back and just relaxing at home, going on daily explosion with Megumin, arguing with Aqua, Lecturing Darkness for being a pervert and having a good time with everybody this is not how I imagined my life, but I would not change it one bit
"Well then let's have lunch"
Looks like I have something to look for tomorrow
Later that night
Megumin and I didn't share a bath this time but here we are again in one room a sleeping Megumin hugging me preventing me from relaxing
"You know I would think I would get used to sleeping with Megumin as stuff but"

Ahh this is no use I haven been able to go the that certain shop because Megumin got mad and stopped me

But suddenly I hear a knock from the door who could it be at this hour?

"Yeah, it's just me awake though"
"Ahh then can I enter please?"
I said that as I slowly escaped Megumin's grasp and stood up, unlocking the door I see my past-self he looked abit tired
He entered the room looking at Megumin then shyly asked me
"I want to ask this alone and since Megumin's asleep I would like to ask now before she wakes up"
With a puzzled look my past-self blushed he was a shade of pink now
"Oi oi when was I like this, I would never do this girly act"
"What do you mean girly Wanna fight!"
I put my finger on my mouth to try and signal to my past self to be quieter while the others are sleeping
"S-Sorry well back to what I wanted to ask… am I dating Megumin or something? I mean sure sharing a bed is nothing but you acted weird with Megumin when we first met, and that time in the couch I'm starting to think there is something else going on here"
I paused, I really am quite the observer huh well there's nothing I can do he found our secret although megumin and I were pretty bad at hiding our affection
"*sigh* yeah, it's true I am dating Megumin"
"I was right but why am I dating the crazy explosion loli"
My past-self had an exasperated look I understand why he would feel that way but, I'm quite rude aren't I!
"Yeah yeah, I get it how in the world did I fall in love with this girl, right?"
"Well at least I get someone I love in the future its just so unexpected you know I would have never had thought that I would fall in love with, well Megumin"
Thinking back, it was Megumin that confessed to me, that's when I started to get conscious of my feelings to her, and by the time I realize my love I was too already too deep
"You will find out the reason why I fell in love with Megumin soon enough don't worry didn't we just have a moment with Megumin in the crimson village?"
"I understand but…"
"Don't think about it too much just go with the flow ahh and start being nicer to her"
With a skeptical look my past-self went back to his room and I turned back to go to sleep now free of my sexual desires
"You had fun with your self didn't you Kazuma?"
Before I could lay down Megumin opened her now glowing eyes and game me slyly smile
"Ahh Megumin y-you were awake how long were you awake for!?"
"It was 'I get it how in the world did I fall in love with this girl' am I right Kazuma?"
Now properly embarrassed I tried to respond with the most stoic voce I could muster
"L-L-Let's just ignore that and go back to sleep"
Laying down with my heart beating as fast as humanly possible Megumin giggled at my distress self
"Well then Good night Kazuma"
Why must you subject me to this kind of teasing!
Part 4
I woke up to Megumin shaking me
"Kazuma Kazuma wake up already!"
"Yes, I'm kazuma, I'm waking up already"
Dragging my sleepy self down stairs I saw a peculiar sight my past-self staring at the outside mumbling about the weather
"Megumin Megumin!"
"What is it Aqua?"
Aqua got past-Megumin's attention while she plays with Chomusuke
"Have you seen where are the souvenirs I bought in the Crimson Demon Village?"
"Ahh you mean the bubble wine, well it was empty so I threw them away"
Darkness said while sipping her wine
"That's strange, Hey Kazuma you didn't drink my bubbly wine!"
My past-self ignored Aqua as he stared out the window
"Hey are you listening? My bubble wine…"
"The wind… The sun…"
Ahh poor me, the ptsd from sylvia must be at full swing today huh
Suddenly without a warning my past-self started having a breakdown while Aqua and the others try to comfort me, I went down ignoring the next events
After that whole ordeal we went into the guild while our past selves, Aqua, and Darkness went into one of the available tables to have breakfast while me and Megumin went into the guild quest board
It seems like there is nobody yet only the guild lady a few maids and dust with his party is here I thought as I searched for a specific quest
"Here it is"
"What did you get Kazuma?"
"Ehh I-It's nothing it's just a extermination quest"
A skeptical Megumin tried to take the request
"Let go Kazuma! If it's nothing like you said then there's nothing wrong with showing your girlfriend!"
"It's truly nothing you don't have to worry about it, now let go you're going to rip the paper!"
Seeing no chance of winning I let go of the request and used my Trump card
"Steal!"
"Ehh Kazuma what if yo-"
I smirked I win this time Megumin hehe wait... why does she still have the paper… Opening my hand I saw that black panties were sitting at my palm
"This, this perverted man!"
Megumin shout reverberated in the guild hall, now the few people that was in the guild stared at me and Megumin
Uwaa why did she scream that! Oh no I'm getting a disgusted looks from the women in the hall!

With a swipe of her hand, she took her panties in my hands, the guild lady who came near to see the commotion had a disgusted look

I tried explaining my side of the story but they were skeptical of me, oh the cruel injustice
"Tranquility girl extermination quest?"
Megumin said after wearing her stolen undergarments
Crap! She is going to prevent me from accepting the request
"This was what you were hiding from me Kazuma?"
I nodded thinking why did she come with me in the quest board!
"I'm not going to prevent you from accepting this quest you know, geeze fighting something over this trivial"
Huh Megumin is not going to stop me?
"Well, I guess I have to apologize for not believing you Kazuma"
Before I could respond a loud shout reverberated the room
"Don't stand behind me!"
"Kazuma-san!? Wait how are there two Kazumas"
The guild lady realized there are two Kazumas
It was my-past self well looks like its time to do some work
