Disclaimer:: ALL PRE-EXISTING CONTENT/CHARACTERS belong to the respective owner(s) of them. This fanfiction is merely the mindless musings of a writer that absolutely adores the world depicted in the videos and wants to add more to it in a story spun with nimble fingers of patience. This is set after Hazbin Hotel Season 1 so yes Pentious is in Heaven, Adam is dead, something is brewing between Heaven and Hell. Enjoy.

This story will contain all manner of stuff; drug abuse, alcohol consumption, some sexual content here and there, subtle signs of abuse and even some actual scenes in the future if they occur, swearing, vulgarity, lewd jokes, even some naughty gestures (cough Angel). There will also be romance (potentially, who knows)! So if you don't like kisses or lewd stuff I'll make sure to put sections in those chapters to warn you of what is in the chapter so you can skip at your discretion!

My hand reached out, just as I was about to touch the apple's cool side, intending to pluck it.. but suddenly I was frozen and the world seemed silent all around me. Unable to move I stood there, panicked for a moment. I couldn't force my body to obey me and for that seemingly hour I felt genuine terror.

FEAR NOT, MORNINGSTAR.. I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU THAT WHICH BECOMES OF CREATION.

The voice, well.. less of a voice and more of a feeling buried deep within the recesses of my mind, a gentle nudging from that depth, seemed to captivate my every sense. I blinked, finally able to move as feeling returned to my body and I slowly curled my fingers, drawing my hand back slowly. I turned away from the sacred apple tree and peered behind me, catching the silhouette of a tall form with wide arcing wings that seemed to almost be draped across the ground on either side of them. The imposing figure was shadowed by a brilliant light that prevented me from seeing the features but that smile, it was so clear. A gentle, benevolent smile.

MY LITTLE STAR.. YOU SHINE ABOVE ALL ELSE.. AND IT IS YOU THAT I ADORE THE MOST.. YOU WILL SEE THAT WHICH WAS WRITTEN.. AND YOU MUST WEAVE THE TALES OF THAT LIFE TO DISCOVER THE TRUTH. DO TREAD CAREFULLY. GILDED ORDER CAN HOLD A VARIETY OF CHAOS JUST AS EASILY AS HOW THE DARKEST PIT CAN HOLD THE BRIGHTEST LIGHT.

Just then the light grew and spread before it consumed my every sense and I closed my eyes, feeling the weightlessness of my body as it hit the ground before everything went silent.

I felt nothing for some time..

Hours.. days.. weeks, perhaps.. Time was lost in this state of being. I felt myself floating, the first sensation to return; swaying movement as if drifting down between clouds. Soon enough, however long it took, my body connected with something hard. Shortly my senses returned, noise began to grate my ears and carefully I opened my eyes, a stark red blur slowly began to clear. A pentagram-traced red sky lingered heavily above, a foreboding meaning I couldn't quite fathom. Was I in some other.. dimension? Some other plane of existence? I carefully pushed myself up, leaning heavily against my arms behind me as support as I took in the surroundings.

Tall buildings of varying shapes and styles lined what I could see. I found myself lying in what looked like.. an alley? I blinked, as if this was just a hallucination and clearing my sight repeatedly might somehow alter what I was seeing but the harder and faster I blinked the less anything changed.. just cleared up.

"Oh my.. Where in the heavens am I.. I seem to have.. fallen somewhere.." I carefully grunted as I pushed myself to my feet, dusting my robes with a half considered flick of my wrist. What I wasn't expecting was a wet sensation to come into contact with my hand. I looked down to see that I had landed in a puddle of some sorts.. but puddles weren't red.. were they?

I drew my hand up, inspecting the sticky red substance dripping down from my fingers. I carefully cleaned them onto my robe before snapping my fingers, the robes once again clean as if never blemished by the blood. I suppressed a shudder of revulsion before I looked around. The alley was disgusting; trash pressed against a graffiti covered wall, what looked like a.. dismembered pile of limbs just beside it and various puddles of blood.

I crinkle my nose as the smell hits me. Rot. Everywhere.

I stepped out from the alley and heard various gasps as the denizens of this region noticed me well before I noticed them. I was too focused, perhaps, on seeing the pentagram above more clearly. However this singular focus didn't prevent me from hearing the commentary and noises all around me.

"AN ANGEL!"

"ANGEL IN HELL? WHAT IN LUCIFER'S NINE CIRCLES-"

"IS IT HERE TO KILL US?"

"QUICK, RUN-"

"I'LL FIGHT IT-"

"NO YOU WON'T, ARE YOU STUPID?"

"BUT THIS IS ROSIE'S TERRITORY.. WE SHOULD JUST KILL AND EAT IT.."

I tipped my head down, golden piercing eyes turning towards that last voice and leveling all the might of my gaze upon this source.. and that's when I noticed none of these creatures were angels..

They were deformed, demented, warped.. Horns jutting from various parts of bodies, long colorful tails, claws, snarls slipping from long fanged mouths, bottomless eyes focused solely on me.

However I felt no fear in this moment as I flicked my gaze, peering around. I didn't have my wings out but it was clear from my appearance, I gauged that they knew I was not of this domain they lived within. That I was not bound here.. Perhaps it was the elegantly floating halo above my golden blonde hair.. or the piercing golden eyes I held so unlike their own varying dark hues. My eyes, however, were not always golden, only when I was making a point such as this.

But the second I pulled out the six white wings with blue feathers everyone physically took a step back.

"H-he looks like.. An angel version of our king.." One voice cut through the momentary terror I could feel and I directed my focus onto the small child with pitch black eyes. "Rose circled cheeks and all! Same style and colored hair!"

Our king? Who was this king this child spoke of? I could feel my eyes narrowing in suspicion. Where had I been taken? Where WAS this? I threw my wings forth, a sharp gust of air knocking my audience onto their backs before I shot up into the sky, soaring in a spin before correcting myself and gliding away from the chaos. I landed in another alley, off in the distance in another section of this strange city.

I pulled in my wings, reached towards a dirty pile of clothes and pulled out a thin but black robe which I quickly (and disgustedly) dragged over my limbs to conceal most of my appearance.

As I walked down the alley I had landed in I could see fliers of different types strung along the old filthy brick. One, however, caught my attention and it made me pause, moving closer to read what was printed upon the poorly drawn sketch.

The flier had a rainbow colored at the top, on the right side was a brilliant golden sun and some clouds sketched at various gaps on the page. The page was clearly not very professionally done and had been here for some time judging by the blood stains at various parts. Granted nothing was making it illegible to read.

I carefully peeled the flier off the wall and held it up as if inspecting it further before tucking it into the pocket of my borrowed robe. This Princess would have answers.. I could just ask her, surely!

I just needed to use my observational skills.. Hm. I saw a flight of stairs along the brick to my right and quickly climbed them, getting up onto the roof to scan the area. This was a four story building and gave me a decent view, not a very good one though, but it provided me with the sight I needed.

In the distance, on a hill, sat a red structure with a sign above it that read HAZBIN HOTEL with a giant eye symbol just below it. It was well lit and fairly decent size, several stories with varying parts to its design. So I meticulously climbed back down and began to make my way there, avoiding main streets and slipping down back allies all while dodging grabby denizens to this Hell..

A few minutes of quickly darting through the streets allowed me to finally reach my destination, the old and creaky metal gate that framed the base of the hill. I quickly swung over it and walked up the hill.

Just as I reached the door and was lifting my hand to knock it flung open.

"CHARLIE I HAVE TO GO, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO JUST- Oh!" A tall pink and white spider demon was walking out but bumped into me, blinking as he turned to peer down at me. "Hello uhm.. Charlie you have a visitor, all robed and mysterious!" He called over his shoulder.

"A CLIENT? YES, PLEASE, PLEASE, FINALLY!" An excited bubbly voice seemed to be scurrying to come over from the frantic noises I could hear from beyond the spider. Said spider shifted to the side just as she came over.

She had red circles on either cheek, much like my own.. and equally as pale white with a wide fanged smile on her face. She was tall, around six foot easily with thick blonde lengthy hair with paler highlights tied into a ponytail. Her eyes held light yellow sclera, red pupils, thick lashes and silver eyelids. She wore a red host styled attire with a black bowtie.

My normally blue eyes widened as I blinked, taking in her appearance and her overly excited expression.

"Hello, please, PLEASE COME IN!" She reached out, taking hold of my hand and tugging me into. However her sharp tug caused the hood of my robe to fall back, revealing my short blonde hair and features scarily similar to her own.

A collective gasp circled the room as everyone present just beyond the princess took notice of my appearance. I drew my hand back, eyes wide as I scanned the room.

A tall red demon with antlers and a cane, a pointed smile while he stood next to a winged cat with suspenders. Just beyond them a small cyclops maid was dusting a shelf. Nearby another, much older and taller cyclops was blinking rapidly at me. All in the room was staring at me pointedly. The spider stepped over towards the older cyclops, a look of disgust on his face.

"W-what.." The Princess, I presumed if I'm judging by how she was called by the name Charlie which was on the flier, seemed to be sputtering as she looked at me with horror. "I don't.. u-understand.."

"Uhm, princess, why does he look lik-" Before the spider could finish his sentence the strange deer man slammed his cane down and briskly walked over. All eyes focused on the seemingly always smiling odd man.

"You must be a shapeshifter of sorts to dare mock Charlie's fa-"

At the implication of taking someone else's form I bristled. "I didn't take some other person's form, this is my own!" I reached up and tore off the robe, tossing it to the floor of the hotel's lobby. The wings I had tucked into my own body drew out, fanning across the air on either side of me to reveal six elegant white wings with their blue feathers. I drew them towards me, pressing them against my back while I huffed. The halo that had been hidden by the hood was also on display proudly above my head, a golden circle etched with silver rivets and stones floating around it. "I'm not quite sure where I am but I take it this realm and this.. world.. are vastly unique. I do not recall Hell being a realm with denizens in it."

The group glanced at each other in confusion before it was Charlie that spoke up. "Uhm.. you look like an.." She gestured a hand upward. "An angel." Her tone dropped before she cleared her throat and rocked on her heels for a moment. "And you uhm.. kinda look like my dad, which is very disturbing."

My eyes furrowed. "I'm sorry, your father? Looks like me?" That sounds ridiculous.

She nodded. "Yeah uhm.. I need.. I need to call him." She glanced towards the deer demon and gave him a look. "Please keep him here, we can sort this out."

"Of course, Charlie." The deer's smile widened before he flicked his red eyes towards me and I felt a shiver race up my spine. He looked at me with such a deep curiosity and it left me feeling unnerved.

Charlie nodded and stepped away, another creature stepping away and following after her. I noticed them and could sense the angelic presence that they naturally held and this caught my interest. An angel down here in this Hell? I fiddled with my hands for a moment before clearing my throat. "Uhm.. so this place is called Hell?"

My question made the tall spider laugh. "Of course toots, this is Hell! The place of sin and darkness. Where have you been for the last few thousand years to not know this joint?" He placed his lower hands onto his hips while the others ran through his hair.

My brows seemingly furrowed more as I mused this. So Hell was a realm separate from Heaven and it was made up of what.. sinners? "So if Charlie there is the princess.. This father of hers, that seems to look like me, rules this place I presume?"

It was the cat demon that nodded as he reached for a bottle of booze from behind the counter of his little bar area. "Yep and you look just like the fallen king."

Fallen King? I folded my arms against my chest and bit into my lip. I had far more questions than answers and that was frankly already annoying. But I needed to be optimistic! My God would not forsake me to a realm I knew nothing about, surely!

Right..?
