Suddenly, once more, the gang appeared, and they appeared to be in a downtown location, just outside of an alleyway, as the buildings all seemed a bit dark, indicating that it was late in the evening and it was oddly silent.
"I think we're finally home..." Daphne shrugged to the gang.
"Are you sure?" Braedey asked. He didn't seem to recognise their surroundings.
"Ah, no more monsters chasing us." Shaggy smiled in relief. "Let's celebrate with some chow." He suggested to Scooby, who nodded.
"No. We can't be home yet. We've only been through nine levels of the game..." Willow said, folding her arms, having bad vibes about this place.
"She's right." Scorcher agreed.
"Yeah. It might be a little too late for a celebration, gang," Fred agreed with her and pointed to the sky that had glowing green bars like a computer screen. "Look." They looked at the sky and saw that it wasn't normal, but digital.
"Aww, man! We're still in the game and I thought we were home free." Shaggy complained.
"Reah." Scooby sighed.
"One last level..." Braedey muttered.
Eric and the others have continued watching the gang in action from the university's screen.
"Okay, they've made it! They made it to the final level." Billy spoke up.
"But this is the toughest level in the whole video game." Terrence pointed out about his game once the sky turned to a normal nighttime style. "No player's ever won it. Not even myself or Eric."
"It'll take everything they've got just to survive." Eric muttered in concern.
Terrence was concerned. "Be careful, Braedey..." He whispered, hoping his little cousin will be okay.
"So now what?" Daphne asked to the others as they all felt stuck in this new level of the video game.
"All he have to do is to find the last box of Scooby Snacks, and we can get out of the game." Braedey guessed about the last part.
"But this city is so big." Daphne frowned, gesturing to the towering skyscrapers all around of them. "Where do we start?"
Fred looked around and he saw an old lady who was covered up and had bags in her hands across the street and seemed to have her head bowed. "Let's see if that woman knows anything." He suggested.
The gang all go across the street to ask for help. Scorcher and Willow, however, weren't too sure about this figure.
"Excuse us, ma'am, we're hoping that you could..." Braedey said before seeing who the old lady really was.
The Phantom Virus grinned to them, startling them. "Surprise!! Welcome to the final level." The virus grinned at the gang. "You're in the major leagues now."
The others immediately started to run away from the Phantom Virus, not sure of where to go now, and hope that they don't get caught by the Phantom Virus.
"What do we do now?" Shaggy cried out.
"Head for the malt shop. It's our best bet right now until we can think of a plan." Fred responded, pointing to a malt shop not far away from them, and everyone followed his instructions.
"Good idea." Scorcher agreed.
Everyone ran into the malt shop, as they followed Fred inside, and caught their breaths, they just hoped that was enough running for now. Willow looked confused for a moment. She rubbed her eyes, as if trying to get them to refocus, and looked at what she saw.
"Are you okay, Willow?" Braedey asked her.
"I think I'm seeing double..." Willow murmured.
The Mystery Inc gang looked over in front of them and they saw the cyber duplicates of themselves, however, the copies of them looked really dated. Cyber Shaggy had his red shirt and blue jeans, Cyber Scooby had his red collar, and looked slightly darker in fur colour compared to the actual Scooby, whilst Cyber Fred had his ascot and white shirt, and Cyber Daphne wore her original outfit.
"Zoinks! Like, you're me!" Shaggy said.
"And, like, you're me." Cyber Shaggy added.
"You're the characters from Eric's video game." Velma stated.
"And you're from the real world." Cyber Velma added.
"Jinkies!" They added in unison.
Daphne looked at Cyber Daphne's outfit. "Did I used to wear that years ago?" She asked herself.
"That jacket with that skirt?" Cyber Daphne then commented on Daphne's outfit.
"Hmm..." the two redheads thought in unison.
"Nice ascot." Fred commented his cyber counterpart's orange ascot around his neck.
"Hey. Works for me." Cyber Fred replied.
Both Scooby and his cyber counterpart looked at one another with confusion. They sniffed one another then they laughed and high-five one another.
"You know, this is kinda nice in a way." Willow said to Scorcher and Braedey.
Scorcher then looked, and to his surprise, he could see three Cyber versions of himself, Sheeva, and Amber, all of them looking rather different than normal.
Cyber Scorcher is a lean young man of average height with spiky black hair which partially covers his ears, slanted dark eyes and thin eyebrows. He dons a small, white bandage on his left cheek as well as a red pouch around his waist. His attire consists of a high-collar, red-and-black open jacket with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms, pockets on either side of the chest, and two black laces attached to the neck of his jacket hanging behind his head. Underneath, he wears a simple black shirt with a v-neck collar. He also sports baggy, red-colour trousers which possess a noticeable white details on both sides. Lastly, his choice of footwear are a pair of simple, black boots.
Cyber Sheeva is a lovely girl with long blonde hair, tied in a ponytail to the right side of her head with a blue ribbon. She is buxom and has a curvaceous body. She has on a white, sleeveless shirt with blue highlights, and a blue cross down the centre of it, intersecting at her chest. She also has on a blue skirt, and had a brown belt around her waist, which has a black whip and key ring on it, as well as knee-high black high-heel boots. The key ring has eight keys on it; four of them being gold, and the other four being silver.
Cyber Amber, meanwhile, is a young woman with long wavy light blue hair, with two locks hanging down, one on either side of her head, which. She has a slender body with an above-average chest. She is wearing a long-sleeved pink dress, with gold accessories at the waist and arms, and a cape, red on the outside and dark blue on the inside.
"Wow. I didn't even know Eric and Terrence made cyber versions of myself, Sheeva, ad Amber." Scorcher said in surprise. He then walked over to them, and he shook hands with them.
"Didn't think I'd have pink hair." Cyber Scorcher said to his counterpart.
"Although, seeing both Sheeva being blonde and Amber having blue hair, it looks rather odd." Scorcher commented to the two girls.
"Really? What kind of hair colour does my Sheeva have?" Cyber Sheeva asked.
"Well, it's in a darker blue or purple." Scorcher clarified.
The two Mystery Inc gangs observed each other, they were both curious and interested. "I guess it's been a while since we've seen Eric." Velma guessed, looking at her outfit, then to the two Daphnes. "He hadn't seen our fashion changes."
"We can go shopping later." Daphne suggested to her cyber counterpart.
Cyber Daphne then noticed Braedey standing nearby, and walked over to him. "Oh, look at this cutie." She said, giving him a hug, much to Braedey's blushing face at her comments.
"Like, why dont' you join us for a snack?" Cyber Shaggy asked, as he and Shaggy sat down at a table with some chips.
"Man, I thought you'd never ask!" Shaggy smiled, completely forgetting why they were here.
The gang got along really well with their duplicates.
"Even though this is great, we need to find the last box of Scooby Snacks." Braedey said.
"Why?" Cyber Daphne asked.
"You mean, you're not afraid of the Phantom Virus?" Daphne asked to her counterpart in concern.
"The who?" Cyber Fred asked.
"What?" Willow seemed rather puzzled of how the cyber Mystery Inc. weren't worried of the virus. "Are you serious?"
"Wait. Now, it makes sense." Scorcher got the gang's attention. "The Phantom Virus isn't part of this video game, so it has no intention with our Mystery Inc. cyber counterparts."
"Like, you cyber guys are lucky." Shaggy told them. "This virus is evil and creepy, and has an evil laugh."
At that moment, an evil laugh echoed from outside. The two Velmas were shocked, whilst two Daphnes were startled and scared by the sound. Braedey felt the chills go down his back, Cyber Scorcher and the others now standing at the ready. As everyone looked to the windows to the door, they saw the blue glow from the Phantom Virus from outside. Velma and Cyber Fred saw the Phantom Virus outside, and everyone knew they had to leave now.
"Let's get out of here. The Mystery Machine's out back." Cyber Fred spoke up.
"I'll drive." Both Freds said in unison, the two of them looking at each other.
After they left the malt shop, the two Freds decided to go to the Mystery Machine and take a look at the Cyberspace land they were in. It was a bit of a tight squeeze of everyone to get into the van, but they were soon on their way.
"This is nostalgic. I miss this old van." Fred sighed in remembrance.
"In cyber-world, things never get old. It's pretty cool." Cyber Fred commented. "There's a lot to like in cyber-world. Stores, theaters, parks..."
"...and lots of tasty food." Cyber Shaggy added in, which got both Shaggy and Scooby's attention.
"What about the monsters and villains? We haven't seen any." Willow now asked.
"They're probably guarding the Scooby Snacks." Cyber Daphne replied to her question.
"So, do you guys know where the Scooby Snacks are?" Braedey asked.
"Oh, we do, but there's no reason for us to find them." Cyber Velma explained. "Because if we even get the Scooby Snacks, we'd just go right back to the beginning of the game."
"And we like it here." Cyber Daphne smiled.
"Until you guys showed up with that Phantom Virus." Cyber Shaggy added as well.
"We'd be glad to get rid of him for you." Velma promised.
"If we could." Daphne shrugged.
"Yeah." Scorcher agreed.
"Well, if we all team up, then the Phantom Virus won't stand a chance." Fred said, very determined.
"I guess we were gonna go after the snacks eventually." Cyber Shaggy shrugged.
"So you'll help?" Daphne asked.
"Count us in." Cyber Scorcher nodded firmly, Cyber Sheeva and Amber nodding in agreement.
With that, the Cyber Mystery Machine raced down the road at speed, heading off to a location far away from the malt shop.
