Here we are at Chapter 52. Time for more fun, funny, and mayhem. It's time for more RWBY KEPL Chibi! I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 52. Enjoy.
Chapter 52: Dreams of the Future
Skit 1: White Picket Fence
"Okay, so we couldn't really get anything of value to aid us against Yukari in her quest to defile Voshkie'ahk," Winter mutters.
"Us? You mean you. I got forced into this little arrangement of yours, and I had to endure the horrors of Yukari's dream world. Next time, I'll be happy to send you in there," Shion groans.
"Okay, so we can't find something to use in Yukari's mind. Maybe... maybe we should try to do the opposite... and go into Voshie'ahk's dream this time. Maybe, we can find Yukari's weakness in her girlfriend's mind instead," Winter gets another crazy idea.
"What? How's that gonna help you? If Yukari's dream didn't give you the answers you wanted, I doubt Voshkie'ahk's will," Shion retorts.
"It's still a chance we have to take. You need to go into Voshkie'ahk's dream and see what you can find before coming back to me," Winter says.
"And if her dream traumatizes me as well?" Shion glares at her.
"Oh, please, as if someone as pure as Voshkie'ahk could have disgusting dreams like that succubus Yukari. You'll be fine, now go and enter Voshkie'ahk's dream," Winter waves it off.
Shio sighs, "Fine, but you owe me double for this," and she leaves on another forced mission for Winter.
...
Later at night, Shion manages to sneak into Voshkie'ahk's room at Beacon and finds the fair maiden sound asleep. Shion activates her semblance and dives into Voshkie'ahk's dream. Once inside, she finds it surprisingly... normal. A nice house just outside Mistral in the forest. Nice weather, and not a grimm in sight. She sees that the house has two floors, a white picket fence, and a lovely garden. Almost like it came straight out of a fairytale. Shion walks up to the house and finds the door unlocked. However, as soon as she walks inside, she finds the place a little noisy.
"Hey, that's mine! Give it back!" she hears the voice of a child nearby.
"No, Mama said I could play with it this time. Wait your turn!" another voice says.
Shion tip toes around to the living room, and just like in Yukari's dream, freezes in place. Inside, she sees eight little children, five girls and three boys, playing inside together. The children all appear to be of varying ages, but all young, and have features taken after Yukari and... Voshkie'ahk?
"Wait, are these... their children? But, they're both women, so they can't have children the normal way. But... all these kids have traits from both of them," Shion realizes.
It's true. Whether it's the hair, the eyes, or other physical traits; it's clear that their parents are both Yukari and Voshkie'ahk.
"This must be Voshkie'ahk's dream... To have a family with Yukari. Still..." Shion watches two of the eight kids chasing each other. "This is a bit much,"
She hears the front door open and she quickly hides as an adult Voshkie'ahk walks by.
"Children, I'm home!" Voshkie'ahk calls out.
"Mommy!" they all cheer and run up to her.
Voshkie'ahk happily hugs and kisses all of them, "Now, have you been good for Mama Yukari?"
"Yes! We've been good!" the kids say together.
"Darling, it's good to see you back home. That mission took a little longer than you said it would," Shion looks as a second woman comes from the kitchen.
Shion's eyes go wide. It's an adult Yukari in a purple dress... and an obvious pregnant belly. So, they're about to have their ninth kid. But, how?
"It's good to be home," Voshkie'ahk walks over to kiss Yukari before rubbing her belly. "I hope the little one has been good,"
"She's still kicking. Just like her mother," Yukari winks at her.
"You should take it easy for the rest of the day. I'll prepare dinner," Voshkie'ahk says.
"Thanks. I don't have as much energy as I used to. Especially when you take it out of me all the time," Yukari kisses Voshkie'ahk again.
"Well, if you want another one... All you have to do is ask," Voshkie'ahk says, giving Yukari a knowing look.
Shion realizes what she meant and freaks out, waking up from the dream. She takes a few breaths to calm herself as she watches Voshkie'ahk sleep.
"By the brothers, they're both crazy and in love. Winter has no chance," Shion sighs.
Skit 2: I'm not a Doctor
Team KEPL and Voshkie'ahk are being lead into the Forever Fall Forest by Dr. Oobleck for a field assignment.
"Alright now students, please do not let the beauty of the forest cloud your judgment. This place is teeming with dangerous grimm looking to turn you all into mincemeat. That is also precisely why we are here. Professor Port needs us to capture a few grimm for his class with the exchange students. We only need a few, as Professor Ozpin stated that Port can't have too many or it may freak out some of the other students. Now then, get out there and nab some grimm, be back here in one hour, and try not to die too quickly, will you?" Oobleck explains.
"Um, but Professor Oobleck-," Voshkie'ahk says.
"It's DOCTOR Oobleck. How many times must I remind students of that. I didn't get the PhD for fun, thank you very much," Oobleck corrects her.
"Come on guys, let's get this over with," Khazhak says while drawing his blades.
The five young warriors spend the next hour hunting down and capturing grimm. This proves to be much more difficult since they need them alive. Porphyrius fires his grenade shots at a fleeing Beowolf, causing it to fall to the ground. This gives Lloyd the chance to trap it in a cage. Meanwhile, Edom fires off one of his knives to wrap around the leg of one Boarbatusk, giving Khazhak the chance to crash down on it with another cage. As for Voshkie'ahk, she simply freezes the grimm in place with her ice Dust cards. This goes on for a while until they've captured several grimm. Just enough for Professor Port's class.
"Excellent students. Excellent. I believe we've completed our task for the day. Now, let's get these grimm onto the-," Oobleck says before one Boarbatusk breaks out of Voshkie'ahk's ice and rams Porphyrius into a tree before running off to freedom.
"Porphyrius!" Khazhak and the others check on him as he remains unconscious. "Dr. Oobleck, I think he needs immediate medical attention. You've gotta help him!"
"Me? I'm not a doctor, Khazhak. Well, I mean I am a doctor but not that kind of doctor, but-oh, you know what I mean!" Oobleck retorts.
"Guys... I think he'll be fine. His aura protected him," Voshkie'ahk deadpans, motioning to a groaning Porphyrius.
"Ugh, did someone get the license plate on that truck?" Porphyrius groans in pain.
"...Well, it seems he'll be just fine. Come along students. Let's return to Beacon," Oobleck says before walking away, leaving the students confused as far as what to do next goes.
Skit 3: Cats vs Dogs
Out in the school pavalion, Khazhak is sitting down at one table with Kali, having snacks and drinks while making mild conversation.
"So, I've been wondering. I've seen you interact with Zwei without ever getting scared, freaking out, or threatening to shave his butt. And yet, Blake practically plays hide and seek on steroids with him because of how scared of dogs she is. Not to mention that she really likes tuna a lot, just like a regular cat. Why is it that she's scared of dogs and you're not?" Khazhak asks.
Kali sips her drink first, "Well, while Faunus may inherit some traits from their animal parts, they don't inherit all of them. I've never really been scared of dogs, despite being a feline Faunus. As for Blake, well... the truth is when she was little, she was playing with some other kids in the neighborhood and one of them had a pet dog. However, when things got a little too exciting, the dog accidentally bit Blake on the hand and she cried. She's been afraid of them ever since. I think it's father humorous. My daughter, a skilled huntress-in-training, is afraid of a little furball like that one over there," Kali points a thumb behind her.
Khazhak looks to see Lloyd, Ghira, and Zwei playing together. And by playing together, it's Ghira doing pushups while Lloyd does pushups on top of him, while Zwei does pushups on top of Lloyd.
"78, 79, 80, 81... come on kid, I know you can do better than that," Ghira says while exercising.
"Don't count me out yet, old man. I can do this all day. In fact, let's add more weight for ya," Lloyd says before activating his semblance, encasing his body in steel and making himself heavier for Ghira.
"Argh! Challenge accepted. I'm not done yet!" Ghira growls as he tries to push up the extra weight on his back.
Meanwhile, Zwei just barks happily as he exercises on Lloyd's back.
"Oh, so Blake's fear comes from childhood trauma. How exactly did Blake get her hand bitten by a dog?" Khazhak asks.
"She tried to feed him a treat and it just went downhill from there," Kali replies nonchalantly.
Meanwhile, Ghira throws a frisbee for Zwei to catch. The dog catches it in mid-air and then throws it at Lloyd who catches it and throws it back to Ghira.
"Here it comes. Get it, Zwei!" Ghira throws the frisbee hard and Zwei catches it, spinning in mid-air with the frisbee and they end up colliding with Lloyd. Lloyd ends up with his face in the dirt and Zwei stands on top of him with the frisbee in his mouth. He throws it back to Ghira and barks before lifting a leg over Lloyd.
"...Yeah, I think Blake should figure out that dog problem of hers. With Zwei practically living with Team RWBY, if she doesn't figure things out soon, she'll end up doing nothing but living a life of fear. Hiding in the freezer, behind lamps, and even under Weiss' bed where the Ice Queen keeps her magazines on 'how to mingle with the commoners without looking like a jerk'... Don't tell her I said that. For the record, Ruby told me about them," Khazhak says.
"Yeah... I think Blake's just weird. Um, aren't you going to help Lloyd?" Kali asks.
Khazhak waves it off, "Eh, I'm sure he'll be fine... Though, he'll probably want to take a shower after this,"
And that's the chapter. A little short, but I've been busy with some things this week, so I couldn't make the chapter as long because I didn't have as much time. Also, in skit 2, can anyone guess what movie reference that's from? Hint: it's an old Disney movie from the early 2000s. Until then, please Read and Review.
