Chapter 108: Battle Against a Bitch
Dylan Riley and the group of girls were standing across from the mystery card girl as they wondering who she was.
"Who is she?" Itsuka Kendo asked Dylan.
Dylan then taps the right temple of his glasses as it starts to scan the girl. After five seconds, the scan was complete.
"That's Irina Jelavić," Dylan said.
"Is she dangerous?" Videl asked Dylan.
"She's an assassin, but compared to the others, she doesn't have unique abilities like you all," Dylan said to the girls.
Then, a pack of people pass Irina as she disappeared when they leave.
"Damn it she's gone," Dylan said in anger.
"What do we do?" Nami asked Dylan.
"We'll spilt up," Dylan said to the girls.
"Nami, you take Videl and Secre," Dylan said to Nami.
"I'll go with Itsuka and Ragdoll," Dylan said.
"Got it," Nami said.
"Now everyone, don't use your powers, we don't want people to attract us," Dylan said to the girls.
"Break," Dylan said as they walk off in different directions.
Over in one part of the shopping district, Nami and her group were carefully searching for Irina.
"She's an assassination with no powers, why is her dot different?" Secre Swallowtail asked in confusion.
"Technical issues?" Videl asked.
"I feel like she could more powerful, but like I say we can't lower our guards," Nami said to Videl and Secre.
Then, they see a fountain of sparks in the far distance as they think found Irina.
"She's over there," Secre said as she, Videl, and Nami race to the fountain of sparks.
They soon stop when they see a fountain firework was set off and no one was around it.
"What the?" Videl asked in confusion.
"She isn't here," Secre said as the firework stops sparking.
"What's with that firework?" Videl asked Secre.
Nami then looks to see four small cannons pointed towards them. She then realizes what was about to happen.
"Look out," Nami said to Videl and Secre as she tackles them to the ground.
Then, the cannons fire, shooting out dozens of pieces of sharp broken clay pieces. Lucky for them, the pieces miss them and land on the ground.
"The fuck?" Videl asked in shock as she, Nami, and Secre get to their feet.
"What was that?" Secre asked Nami as Nami looks at the pieces.
"These are clay, and it looks like they have been sharpened to cause harm," Nami said.
"It's like that holiday movie Dylan likes," Secre said.
"Home Alone?" Nami asked Secre.
"That's right," Secre said.
"Well we are dealing with someone smart and cunning, enough to make these," Nami said.
"You got Itsuka's phone?" Videl asked Nami.
"Yes," Nami said.
"Call Dylan, give him a warning," Videl said to Nami.
"On it," Nami said as she pulls out Itsuka's phone.
Meanwhile, Dylan and his group were walking around another part of the shopping district as Itsuka and Tomoko Shiretoko were trying to get Dylan to talk about his horrible experience.
"Do you want to talk about your experience?" Tomoko asked Dylan.
"I want to find the girl and go," Dylan said in a cold tone.
"Okay," Tomoko said.
"Still fresh in your mind?" Itsuka asked Dylan.
"Yes, even after four or five nights I still have nightmares," Dylan said.
Then, Dylan and the group stops when they see a door with a red kanji on it.
"Does that look odd?" Tomoko asked Dylan.
"A little," Dylan said.
"I'll check it out," Itsuka said as she walks over to the door.
Then, Tomoko gets a call from her phone and sees on the ID it was Nami.
"It's Nami," Tomoko said as she hands Dylan the phone.
Dylan then answers the phone and talks to Nami.
"Hey Nami, you found her?" Dylan asked Nami and then Nami tells him about the traps.
"Wait a minute, traps," Dylan said and then he sees Itsuka was about to open the door.
"Itsuka don't touch it," Dylan warns Itsuka in a panicked tone.
Itsuka then puts her right hand on the doorknob and that was the trigger. The door explodes off it's hinges as it knocks Itsuka back ten feet and onto the ground.
"Oh crap," Tomoko said in shock.
"Gotta go," Dylan said to Nami and then he hangs up the phone.
Dylan and Tomoko then rush over to Itsuka, who had two small gashes on each of her arms and a deep gash on her left knee.
Once Dylan puts the phone away, he and Tomoko help Itsuka to her feet.
"Oh my god Kendo, are you okay?" Tomoko asked Itsuka in concern.
"Yeah I'm fine, just got a few cuts and possibly a broken rib," Itsuka said.
"What was that?" Tomoko asked Dylan.
"That was a trap," Dylan said.
"That wasn't a trap, that was an attempted murder or something from the mind of that John Kramer you like so much," Itsuka said to Dylan.
"It was not a Jigsaw trap, if it was you would be in a grungy room with some sort of metal device attach to you and kill you if don't come up with a solution," Dylan said.
"That was from Irina, she is making sure she kills us before she finds us," Dylan said to Itsuka and Tomoko.
"Do you think she's inside there?" Tomoko asked as Itsuka regains her bearings.
"There is only one way to find out," Itsuka said and then she walks into the building.
Dylan and Tomoko then follow Itsuka into the building. The three look around to see this place was an abandoned house.
After five minutes, Dylan and his group exit the house as they couldn't find Irina in there.
"Well she isn't here," Itsuka said.
"She is really trying to get us," Tomoko said.
"That's an assassin for you," Dylan said to Tomoko.
"She is doing a good job at making death traps," Tomoko said.
"And is really good at it, she has enough time to set it up and escape," Itsuka said.
"Where could she be now?" Dylan asked himself.
Meanwhile, Nami and her group were still walking around as they were not having any luck finding Irina.
"Where could Irina be?" Videl asked.
"I'm not sure, but she was where Dylan was and she probably left too," Nami said.
"How do you take out a sneaky assassin like that?" Secre asked Nami.
"I would use a Thunder Lance Tempo, but we can't use our powers like this in a big city," Nami said to Videl and Secre.
Then, they stop at a nightclub as the doors were open and smoke was coming out of it.
"Is she in here?" Videl asked Nami.
"Could be," Nami said.
Nami looks to see the smoke wasn't dark, but more like the ones used from smoke machines. She also see that there wasn't smoke coming from the top, which means the building wasn't on fire.
"Should we head in?" Videl asked Nami.
"I'm not sure," Nami said.
"Yeah it could be a trap," Secre said.
"It's either that or the girl escapes and we have to go to another country to find her," Nami said to Videl and Secre.
"Well then, let's head in," Nami said to Videl and Secre and then they walk into the nightclub.
The three ladies look around the club to see the smoke on the floor and the nightclub completely empty.
"This is creepy," Videl said.
"It's like a horror movie here," Secre said.
Nami then pulls out her Clima-Tact and extends it a bit with a simple squeeze.
"If they come near us, they will taste Clima-Tact," Nami said.
Then, the three step onto the dance floor with the disco ball above them.
"Any sight of her?" Nami asked Videl and Secre as they looks around.
"No," Secre said.
"Irina is being a real pain in the ass," Videl said in anger.
"The more she is doing this, the more we want to beat her," Nami said.
Then, a squad consisting of seven bodyguards surround Nami and her group.
"Uh this doesn't look good," Secre said.
"I think they're mad because we didn't pay the cover at the door," Videl said to Nami and Secre.
"Or Irina got some backup to do her dirty work," Nami said as she and the girls prepare to fight.
Then, the bodyguards come rushing towards Nami and her group, ready to take them down.
"Girls, attack," Nami said to Videl and Secre.
Nami, Videl, and Secre then dodge any incoming strikes or kicks that the bodyguards try to unleash.
Secre manages to grab a bodyguard and nails several punches to his face and ribs. She then follows it up by snapping his arm like a twig and tosses him into a booth.
Videl then nails some fast strikes to three bodyguards as they weren't a match for Videl's speed.
Then, Videl nails some vicious kicks to them and nails a hard kick to a bodyguard's right knee. She then grabs the bodyguard and tosses him into the two other bodyguards, knocking them down and out.
Meanwhile, Nami manages to knock out two bodyguards with her Clima-Tact after three strikes to each of them.
The last bodyguard ended up getting five Clima-Tact strikes all over his body, but he was still standing.
Nami then nails a hard roundhouse kick to the bodyguard, knocking him off the dance floor and over the bar, knocking him out cold.
"Man this is not what we want," Nami said to Videl and Secre as they survey the knocked out bodyguards.
"This is going to bring so much attention," Videl said.
"And after this, we'll probably be banned from this place after this," Secre said to Nami and Videl.
Nami then looks up to see a flashing red light on the disco ball. She knew something was up and it wasn't going to be good.
"Duck," Nami said to Videl and Secre as she pulls them down and shields them.
Then the disco ball explodes as broken glass rains down onto them.
"Shit, another trap," Secre said as she sees four champagne bottles with a pipe and wires rigged to it.
"Fuck," Secre said as she and the other covers their faces.
Then, the champagne bottles explode as broken glass was flying towards them. Lucky the broken glass didn't do too much damage to them.
"Oh I hope that's the last of it," Nami said as she, Secre, and Videl get to their feet.
Suddenly, more smoke covers the area as someone sneakily comes out from behind the bar.
Soon, that person slashes at Nami's body with a small knife, leaving four gashes on Nami's stomach and arms.
Then, the person nails three stabs to Videl's left arm and a slash along Videl's stomach.
Then, the mystery person stabs Secre six times in the stomach with the knife. She then follows up by stabbing Secre in her left shoulder with a corkscrew opener, causing Secre to scream in pain.
"FUCK," Secre shouts in pain.
Secre then sees the person escaping out of the corner of her eye, which was none other than Irina.
"It's Irina," Secre said as she sees Irina running up a set of stairs.
"She's heading up the stairs," Secre said.
Then, Nami, Videl, and Secre run forward and race up the stairs, hoping to catch up with Irina.
Soon enough, Nami and her group approach a hallway with four doors. The hallway looked really rundown and sketchy.
"The fuck?" Videl asked in shock and confusion.
"I was going to say the same thing," Nami said.
"Okay let's check out the rooms," Nami said to Videl and Secre as they check each door.
Secre then looks in one room as it was a very rundown looking bedroom.
"It feels like a place where scumbags keep children as prisoners until they force them to have sex," Secre said as she looks around the bedroom.
Meanwhile, Videl looks through two other rundown bedrooms as she couldn't find Irina anywhere.
"No Irina," Videl said.
"Damn I want to get out of here, this place is giving me the creeps," Videl thought.
Meanwhile, Nami was checking out the other rundown bedroom as she hasn't found Irina yet.
"Nothing yet, better check the bed," Nami said.
Nami then checks under the bed as the bedroom closet door starts to slowly open.
When Nami gets to her feet, Irina jumps onto Nami's back and gets her in a sleeper hold.
"What the?" Nami asked in shock.
"Come on, drop onto the floor," Irina said in anger to Nami as she continues to apply the sleeper hold.
Nami then backs up and repeatedly rams Irina into a wall, hoping to break off the hold. But unfortunately, Irina had a strong hold of Nami and wasn't going to let go.
"Eat Clima-Tact," Nami said to Irina.
Nami then swings her Clima-Tact and strikes Irina four times in the head with it. The strikes cause Irina to let go of Nami and drops to the floor.
Irina was on her feet, blood leaking down the left side of her face.
"Fuck," Irina said in pain.
"Videl, Secre, I found Irina," Nami said to Videl and Secre.
Irina then tries to attack Nami with punches and kicks, but Nami uses her Clima-Tact to block the moves.
Seeing an opening, Nami nails a hard knee followed by a kick to Irina's ribs.
Nami then swings her Clima-Tact and strikes Irina hard in the ribs with it, breaking a rib in the process.
Nami then picks up Irina and tackles her through the door, breaking it in the process as Videl and Secre watch on as they get out of the bedrooms.
"Oh fuck," Secre said in shock.
Irina manages to get on her feet, her arms and legs a little bit cut up from the door crash.
"Secre, get her," Nami said to Secre as she gets to her feet.
Secre then tries to nail a roundhouse kick to Irina, but Irina ducks down.
Irina then sees an opening as she takes the knife and stabs right into Secre's upper back.
"GAH," Secre screams in pain as Irina runs away from her.
Videl tries to nail a kick to Irina, but Irina nails a punch to Videl's sternum, which knocked the wind out of Videl.
Irina then runs past Videl and jumps through the window, breaking it apart but it didn't cut up Irina.
Secre then pulls the knife out of her back and drops it onto the ground.
"Oh that sting," Secre said in pain.
Secre sees Videl trying to catch her breath, so she rubs Videl's sternum and soon enough, Videl recovers from the punch.
"Wow she punched hard," Videl said.
"She isn't too powerful, she got hit hard from my Clima-Tact and she was bleeding good," Nami said.
"She must not be good at hand to hand combat, and is more better at assassinations than fighting one on one," Secre said.
"We have to alert Dylan," Videl said to Nami and Secre.
"I'm on it," Nami said as she pulls out Itsuka's phone.
Meanwhile, Dylan and his group were searching inside an empty bar for Irina, thanks to some weird markings painted on the walls.
Tomoko and Itsuka were looking through as they didn't see any sign of Irina.
"Anything?" Dylan asked Itsuka and Tomoko.
"Nope," Itsuka said.
"No sign of her," Tomoko said.
Dylan then hears Tomoko's phone ring and pulls it out. He then answers it, knowing it was Nami.
"Hey Nami, you found her?" Dylan asked Nami and then Nami tells Dylan everything.
"Damn it, will get her after we leave the bar," Dylan said with a bit of frustration.
Then, an alarm goes off as these security bars come down on the windows and doors.
"I'll call you back," Dylan said to Nami and then he hangs up the phone and puts it away.
"Fuck, another trap," Dylan said in anger.
"What is it this time?" Itsuka asked Dylan.
"I don't know," Dylan said.
Dylan and the girls see several discreet cannons appear in the walls in front of them.
"Oh crap, not again," Tomoko said as she and Itsuka race towards Dylan.
Then, the cannons fire and out comes a barrage of cocktail umbrellas and mini plastic swords, coming at them.
Dylan, Itsuka, and Tomoko flip a table over as the swords and umbrellas pierce through it, luckily it missed them.
"I wouldn't thought cocktail umbrellas and toothpick swords were to be used like this," Tomoko said in shock.
"When you're dealing with an assassin, anything can be a weapon," Itsuka said to Tomoko.
Dylan turns around and he sees three small cannons pointed towards them.
"Oh not good," Dylan said.
Then, the cannons fire as a barrage of darts were heading towards them.
"Better take one for the team," Dylan said.
Dylan then extends his left arm out, shielding Tomoko and Itsuka from the incoming darts.
Then, sixteen darts strike Dylan in the left arm as they were stuck in there.
"OH FUCK, FUCK," Dylan shouts in pain.
Soon, the security bars go up and the alarm stops as Dylan breathes a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank god it's over," Itsuka said as she breathes a sigh of relief.
"How do you feel Dylan?" Tomoko asked Dylan as she and Itsuka turn to look at him.
Then, Tomoko and Itsuka sees the darts stuck in Dylan's arm and were a bit shock.
"Oh god," Tomoko said in shock.
"I think that doesn't look good," Itsuka said.
"Well now I'm feeling pain and it burns like hell," Dylan said in pain.
Later on, Dylan, Itsuka, and Tomoko exit the bar as Dylan manages to pull out the darts and toss them in the bar. Dylan then sees his left arm as it had numerous dart holes in it and blood was leaking out of them.
"This is why you shouldn't play darts when hammered," Dylan said.
Then, Nami, Secre, and Videl run towards Dylan and his group as they were all together.
"Geez you look like you have been through hell," Nami said to Dylan, Itsuka, and Tomoko.
"Yeah," Itsuka said.
"Tell me about it," Dylan said.
"We found out which direction she ran off," Videl said.
"Come on," Secre said to the others.
"Alright," Tomoko said as the group were running forward, hoping to catch up with Irina.
"I wonder where she is heading off to?" Itsuka asked.
Meanwhile, Irina was standing in front of an old Buddhist temple, bloody and needed help.
"I can't beat them on my own, I need some big help," Irina thought.
Irina then walks forward and opens the doors as this will hopefully change the outcome of the battle.

Oh this is a wild scene, Irina has set up traps in different buildings and Dylan and his group felt it, not to mention she try to sneak attack Nami and felt the brunt force of the Clima-Tact. Now Irina is coming up with another plan, hopefully Dylan and his group can come out on top and take out Irina.
