A.N. I do not own Sailor Moon.
Usagi took the steps up to her friends' apartment two at a time, hopping when she got to the door and knocked excitedly. When the door opened, she grinned at the sister she hadn't seen yet. "Calveras! It's so nice to see you! Is Berthier here? I wanted to bring her the money I owe her!"
Stepping back to let her in, she smiled at the joy the little blonde just exuded. "She's still tutoring, but should be home soon. Never have seen someone so excited to part with money. After a service anyway."
Unable to contain her excitement, she bounced and pulled out a test. "She helped me so much! Look!" Her cheeks were flushed as she showed off the 85% at the top of the paper. "Mama can't be mad this time!"
"Great job! Books were never my thing, but I know Berthier will be so proud of you!" She grinned and then swept her eyes over her, expression softening. "How about you call your mom and tell her that you're staying for dinner? Petz always makes enough for us to have leftovers."
"Oh! That sounds like fun! But we should ask Petz first." Usagi blushed a bit. "I kind of eat a lot."
"We'll order a pizza as an appetizer," Calveras told her with a wink, fishing some money out. "My treat."
"If you're sure. Um, give me just a sec and I will call Mom!" Beaming, the moon princess took the phone and walked into the next room so she wasn't being rude.
Calveras watched her with a little smile for a moment. It was hard to believe that bouncy, innocent girl was the warrior that faced off against Wise Man. Her smile drooped when as soon as the girl finished speaking with her mother, her communicator went off.
After a brief conversation, Usagi came back, looking apologetic. "I have to go."
"That's okay. Truth, love, and justice, right?" Winking, she offered her a reassuring smile. "Just come back later."
"I will!"
