Hey guys, Kurama here with the remade version of Pokemon: Kurama version. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
"Talk, now!" Someone says.
"Aura voice!" Someone says.
"Thoughts, Mental communication." Someone says.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything here apart from my OCs.
Let's begin!
'Come on, where are you?' Lucario ran to where it could detect the Aura of his trainer.
Finding it, he would run towards it and find his trainer meditating.
"Lucario, I'm guessing Dawn sent you to retrieve me?" The man asked though it was more a statement than a question.
'Yes, master. That is indeed what she sent me out to do. They are waiting for you downstairs to get to the Indigo Plateau.' Lucario replied.
"Right, this should be fun." Ash drawled as he stood up and went alongside Lucario to his friend group.
It has been 5 years since his 'friends' betrayed him.
5 years since he made the promise to take action for what they've done.
5 years since he became champion of Alola and made the region known worldwide.
Countless trainers have requested to challenge him but none could reach him.
They couldn't even defeat the first Elite 4's Pokémon, which is pretty understandable as he made sure that his Elite didn't slack off on their training sessions.
But this was absurd...
Realistically, how in the darkness of the Distortion World do you have a Mega Aggron lose to a fucking Wobbuffet?
Ash's Elite 4 members consist of Paul Shinji, who's been with him since the day he got betrayed and is an Omni-type specialist.
Harrison, who's now a part of his group after hearing about his betrayal after Kalos is a Fire-type specialist and mostly hangs around the Pokemon school to teach new trainers how to battle.
James, an ex-member of Team Rocket who retired alongside his wife Jessie and best friend Meowth is a Poison/Psychic type specialist and one of Ash's most decent Elite 4 members.
The last member is none other than Ethan Gold, a trainer Ash fought in Johto and decided to mentor so the kid could one day take his place as the Champion of Alola.
Gary opted to become the Professor of Alola and get Ash some in the science department alongside Gladion and the Aether Foundation after Lusamine retired.
Dawn decided to become an important figure in Alola and would push forward the idea of Pokemon Contests and Showcases, which would've been accepted a year ago.
This was mostly thanks to her becoming a Grand Coordinator in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh during her travels with Ash, who wanted to catch some more Pokémon to expand his team of Pokémon.
"And here's the man of the hour. So... ready to go to Kanto?" Gary asked his best friend cautious tone.
"Let's just get it over with. The faster we do what needs to be done the faster we can come back here." Ash replied coldly, getting an exasperated sigh out of Gary.
Listen, Gary loved the guy but this behaviour was getting ridiculous.
Every time someone mentioned Kanto or even a city residing in Kanto, Ash would grow into this... cold persona, whose sole purpose is to destroy everything.
Still, at least he was motivated for the tournament in his edge lord psychopath kinda way.
Calling forth their Flying-type Pokémon, the group would then hop on and fly off to the Indigo Plateau.
-Timeskip-
The group arrived at the Indigo Plateau a few hours later via Flying-type Pokémon and a plane they then went to the Pokémon Center to get registered for the tournament.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" Nurse Joy asked, looking up from her computer screen.
"Hi, we would like to register for the tournament and get a hotel room for the duration of the tournament," Ash said.
"Sure you're all registered and will be staying in room 402." Nurse Joy replied easily to the group.
"So what we do now?" Paul asked the Champion of Alola, who seemed deep in thought about what their next move should be.
"We're going to take a few hours to rest, after that though we're going to train our asses off," Gary said as the group went to their hotel room and got some rest.
Unable to sleep, Ash decided to get out of the room and get some fresh air.
'The tournament will start tomorrow so I have little time to choose which Pokémon I'm gonna use but if I had to go right off the dome then I'd go with Seismitoad, Snorlax and Glailie. Yeah, those seem like the best choice possible. Looks like I got this tournament in the bag.' Ash thought, feeling that someone bumped into him as the boy then fell on his butt with a yelp escaping the boy's lips.
Dusting himself off, the teenager would then yell out.
"Hey you bumped into me apologize right now"
"I do not need to apologize when you're the one who bumped into me," Ash replied harshly, his eyes flashing a deep pitch-black purple.
"Fine then. If you're not gonna apologize then we'll just have to settle this with a Pokémon battle." The teenager yelled excitedly while Ash internally cringed at the painful reminder that, he too, used to be like him.
Battle hungry, arrogant, selfish, self-righteous, naive, dumb and a moron.
Now, he was a changed man because he now understood that Paul was right, and might make right.
The traitors and the believers were all at a training stadium.
"This battle will be Max Maple vs... I'm sorry sir but what is your name?" Brock asked.
"After all this time, you actually managed to forget my own voice, that's really surprising but then again, you always did think with your dick better, didn't you, Brocko?" Ash asked rhetorically, raising his hat slightly so that his features would be noticeable to the traitors.
"That's... h-how are you..." Brock trailed in shock at seeing the man that he betrayed a few years ago.
"How am I alive? Well, I went to Alola, became its Champion and then travelled the regions that I previously lost to and managed to win them. Without. Your. Fucking. Help!" Ash spat harshly, a pitch black miasma forming around his body with his eyes glowing a dark shade of blue.
"It doesn't matter now Ash. Let's focus on the fight and we can talk later, ok?" Brock said without a care.
"Tch, don't think I'm still 15, you moron. I'll talk to you when I crush your reputation underneath my boot." Ash sneered.
"Now then, this battle will be Max Maple vs Ash Ketchum with 3 on 3 battle with no substitution winner will be declared when all 3 Pokemon are eliminated. Is that understood?" Brock asked the two trainers, choosing to focus on the battle than on angering the Kantonian trainer, who looked like he was about to hang him by his entrails and have random Mandibuzz eat his decayed flesh.
"It sure is. Let me show all of the progress I made Ash!" Max told his old friend happily, not knowing what had happened between the two of them and figuring out that it must've been some random fight they were in.
"It won't matter in a few minutes but keep thinking that you even stand a chance against me." Ash replied coldly.
"Well then let the battle begin!" Brock said, hoping that Max would win against Ash as he knew the boy from Pallet Town didn't make as much progress as one would think he had but still, he felt odd about Ash's newfound confidence.
"Alright then, Mightyena I choose you!" Max called out as Mightyena came out of his Pokeball.
"Lucario show them our true power," Ash commanded as the Aura Pokémon came out from his Pokéball.
"Mightyena use Double Team and rapid-fire Shadow Ball!" Max commanded the Dark-type Pokémon.
"Is that all you got? Lucario counter with Bone Rush, then Extreme Speed and end this with Aura Sphere." Ash ordered in a cold and calculating tone.
Mightyena cloned himself and all clones fired Shadow Balls at Lucario who made a bone staff of aura to block them all effortlessly.
With his Aura Sense, he was able to sense the real Mightyena's aura as he then disappeared with a blue sphere in its gands and 5 seconds later, Mightyena was down for the count.
"Mightyena is unable to battle so Lucario wins! Max choose your next Pokemon! Ash, do you want to switch or keep him?" Brock called out, a bit surprised that Max's Mighthyena was taken down so quickly.
"I'll keep him in," Ash told him coldly.
"Okay, I went easy on you Ash since you were my mentor but not anymore! Go Vigoroth!" Max said as he returned Mightyena and sent Vigoroth to battle.
"Vigoroth use Belly Drum and rest now!" Max commanded as Vigoroth slapped his belly and then fell asleep.
"Lucario used Aura Sphere again" Ash ordered coolly, more amused than annoyed at his ex-student's weakness.
The jackal Pokemon made a blue sphere and threw it and with a mini explosion, the smoke cleared out Vigoroth was done for.
"Vigoroth is unable to battle so Ash wins by default! Max choose your last Pokemon!" Brock called out again.
Max returned his Vigoroth and decided to battle his strongest Pokemon.
"Okay then meet my strongest! Go Gardevoir take him down!" Max shouted as Gardevoir appeared.
"And now Mega-Evolve!" Max called out, tapping his Mega Ring as his Gardevoir was engulfed in a rainbow light, when the light died down there stood Mega-Gardevoir.
"Alright, Mega-Gardevoir uses Moon Blast followed by rapid-fire Shadow Ball!" Max ordered as Mega-Gardevoir threw a white ball and tiny purple balls at Lucario.
"Lucario, end this battle with Bone Rush to deflect them all and Metal Claw on Gardevoir," Ash ordered calmly.
Lucario made his staff and deflected the balls then made claws that were glowing white and he disappeared and reappeared next to Mega-Gardevoir who fell and reverted to Gardevoir.
"Gardevoir is unable to battle! Red wins this match since he didn't lose any Pokémon." Brock said, amazed and fearful of his progress as a trainer.
Ash returned Lucario and went back to his hotel room with his friends and after training, opted to go sleep.
END!
I would like you guys to submit your OCs as well as what Pokémon they're gonna be using. It's for the tournament. I'm also gonna need a beta to help me with fighting scenes for this story.
