This scene has been stuck in my head the last few days. Enjoy. ;} #StillDon'tOwn
Yes Ma'am
With the last beat of my heart, the burning embers of the change are gone, and the world around me has fallen silent. Well, almost silent. I can hear the light buzz of electricity in the walls, the wind blowing through trees outside, and the soft movement of fabric against fabric downstairs. Opening my eyes, I was transfixed by the floating particles of dust, and the fact that being a vampire gave me higher definition vision than I was expecting. I inhaled slowly, and let the scents in the air dance in my lungs. There was a light footstep, and I turned to see Edward standing by the windows, watching me cautiously.
We'd been through so much to get to where we are. I'd come face to face with the Volturi, and then months later, a newborn army. "Bella?" He said softly, making me focus on him. I blinked, and then was standing in front of him before I even made the conscious thought to stand from the bed. "How do you feel?"
I had thought he was beautiful when I was human, but with my new eyes I could see him even better. The back of my hand was striking his cheek and sending him flying before I could finish the thought. He sailed through the window, accompanied by the cacophony of shattering glass. I jumped down after him, straddling his chest where I punched him in the face after every word. "YOU. LEFT. ME. IN. THE. FUCKING. WOODS. AND. THEN. RAN. LIKE. A. COWARDLY. LITTLE. BITCH.!" Two large arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me off of my husband who was looking a little dazed.
He blinked several times as I struggled in Emmetts large grasp. "Bella? Love?"
Using a move I'd seen in a movie, I kicked my leg backwards, hitting Emmett in the crotch, making him drop me. Then I was on Edward again, glaring down at him, even as waves of calm came buffeting at me from the porch. I ignored Esme's quietly muttered, "should we stop her?" as I began hitting him again.
"IT'LL. BE. LIKE. I. NEVER. EXISTED!" I stopped hitting him long enough to snarl at Carlisle who was approaching.
"Bella? Are you thirsty?"
"Incredibly. However, I have some unfinished business to discuss with my husband that I wasn't able to take care of until I became just as durable as him."
Carlisle blinked. "You'll feel much calmer after you feed."
I nodded. "I'm sure. That's why I'm having this discussion beforehand. I couldn't kick Edward's ass for being an unimaginable prick for abandoning me like he did before now. I'd rather get this out of the way first thing." I chanced a glance at Emmett and said, "I'd tell you to ice your balls, but they're already frozen."
Emmett grunted before chuckling. "Fair enough."
I turned back to Edward and grabbed the collar of his shirt, lifing his shoulders slightly from the ground. My voice was as menacing as I could make it as I ground out, "if you ever, ever, do something like that again, I will cast you into the flames myself. Do you understand me?" He still looked dazed, and didn't answer. "I SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?"
He nodded frantically. "Yes."
"YES WHAT?!"
Emmett snickered as Edward muttered out a quick, "yes ma'am."
I stood and dusted myself off, before reaching down and yanking Edward to his feet. "Good. Now, I'm very thirsty, shall we hunt?"
Still looking a bit dazed, Edward looked at me warily. "Is the discussion over?"
I gave him a confused look. "What discussion?"
