Months passed, middle school was nearing its end and Izuku still hadn't decided on a high school. He could wait and go to a random public school, but then his mother would be disappointed. She has been pushing him to be more proactive in his life. He tried, but some schools needed an interview and his grades are pretty average he just needed a little longer to decide. He still had a week.

It was nighttime, and Izuku was sitting in his room. He was finishing his homework for the year, trying to delay going to sleep. He finished the work, quadruple-checked it, checked it again, and redid all of it, at some point he had to stop. He walked to his bed, flopped onto it, and was out in a second. He was still in his uniform, but he couldn't care less.

Sleep, for Izuku, was the best and worst part of his life. It lets him rest his head from constantly worrying about being attacked, but he constantly has nightmares from said worrying. The amount of times he's died in his dreams is immeasurable. They were bearable most of the time, but recently, the nightmares have been so vivid, that sometimes he couldn't tell if he was awake or not.

"And You!" He was forced awake by somebody yelling. "If you did not get enough rest at home, you might as well have stayed in bed!"

His mind was foggy, he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and sat up. "Whas goin on?"

"Get up, Deku. You dumbass." Kaachan was next to him, he was as angry as ever.

Izuku was awake, and aware of his surroundings. He was in a seat in an auditorium. It had possibly thousands of students his age. The focus was up front, Present Mic was standing in front of a large projector screen. It had three large silhouettes with the numbers 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

"Thanks for that little listener," Present Mic yelled, "The fourth robot is something called the 'Zero Pointer'" The screen changed to show a silhouette towering over buildings. "It's an obstacle, it's possible to beat but it's worth a total of zero points. So I wouldn't bother." The robots were worth points? Wait, there were robots? Izuku guessed this was a test. "Now it's time for you little listeners to get out there! Can I please get a Plus Ultra!" The auditorium was silent. "Wow, even that one kid said nothing."

This was the U.A. entrance exam? Oh no, this was the U.A. entrance exam. He's dead, so dead.

As everyone got up to leave, presumably for the test, Kaachan gave an extra look to Izuku. He was suspicious of him.

Izuku and Kaachan were in different testing areas. He silently thanked god for giving him that mercy.

He was able to wear his other self's gym clothes. They were stored elsewhere so they didn't disappear when he arrived.

He got on a bus meant to take him to the testing site. He sat in the far back to avoid attention. A few seconds later, someone sat next to him.

The one next to him was a girl with purple hair and earphone jacks for earlobes. Her name eluded Izuku, but they've met before. She looked at him and said, "Can you do me a favor?" He nodded. "When the test starts, get as far away from me as possible. I can hear your heartbeat and it's driving me crazy."

He should've known it would be like that. "Okay, sorry."

"Don't apologize, nerves get the better of me too. I'm just glad nobody can hear my heartbeat." She suddenly got close. "Just so you know. I told you that because of my unreasonable request. Keep this between us, okay?"

"Trust me, I'll never bring it up as long as I live." The other him won't be able to remember it.

"Good." She sat back in her seat.

Nothing happened for the rest of the ride. They all got off in front of a large wall with a gate. It had a big 'G' written on it. The sight of it gave Izuku anxiety.

He took out the paper handout someone left on the floor. It was what he suspected, destroy robots for points, and don't get killed, especially by the Zero Pointer. It was so simple a monkey could do it. If the monkey had super strength. The pamphlet had other info, like how there was a power switch hidden in the robots for people who couldn't directly destroy them. The time limit is unknown, there is no countdown, and you need to place at least in the top 30 of the rankings to guarantee a spot in the hero course.

The gate opened, he started walking through it, then thought about it for five seconds, and started running. The inside was a large city, or at least the imitation of one. He wouldn't put it past U.A. to buy an actual city just to destroy it. With the things he heard about the principal in every world, he imagined him to be some kind of insane tyrant.

A few minutes passed and he was met with a robot. He could attack or run. The very idea that was a question was laughable as he ran without a second thought. Izuku wanted to go home, the only reason he stayed was because he didn't want to mess with the other him's chances for a future. But if he doesn't swap back soon, then they're both screwed.

He ran a whole two blocks, turning twice, and he was out of breath. He should've exercised more, he couldn't afford a home gym so exercising for him meant going outside, which meant seeing people and that was a whole thing. He couldn't handle more running, he'd rather gamble with his life, which was less stressful at this point.

He sat down, a robot charged at him and attacked. Izuku closed his eyes and prayed.
