AN: Just an idea that popped in my head and wouldn't go away. I thought it was amusing.
A Loyal Education (working title)
-McGonagall-
"This is ridiculous!" McGonagall's nostrils flared angrily as she paced about the faculty room, the staff gathered due to the letter Albus had just received, the parchment still laying open on the table.
"Minerva, you're well aware that it is within their authority." Dumbledore sighed, seeming tired "And their logic is…not unfounded." The Parchment in question was a letter from the school Board of Directors who were removing Albus again after he'd just been reinstated with the closure of the Chamber incident.
"Did you really know he was a fake the whole time?" Flitwick frowned at Albus, the Charms Master looking highly disappointed in their, now twice former, Headmaster.
"He was the only one who applied and I admittedly did not think ahead about consequences." Albus admitted with a sigh, "I especially didn't know he was obliviating people like that or I would have moved heaven and earth for another solution." After the Chamber incident, many students had asked Potter and Weasley what had happened down in the chamber which ended up turning to the topic of Lockheart. Susan Bones heard the story, contacted her Aunt, and the open investigation led back to how the man had been hired in the first place.
"We'll need to figure out who the new Headmaster or Headmistress will be." Minerva collapsed in her seat "If I take it over we would need to find someone, or several someone's, to take over teaching Transfiguration, to be Deputy Head, and to Head Gryffindor."
At her statement, there was a crack as a House Elf appeared "The School is already handling that Misses McGonagall Ma'am!"
"The School is?" Albus seemed more curious than upset, the man having always had the curiosity of a Ravenclaw.
The little elf nodded, popping away for a moment before returning with a massive ancient tome "The School Charter sir!"
"It says that should there be multiple changes in Headmaster or Headmistress in a single term, the School itself will decide the next Head from available candidates, starting with heirs of the founding families." Albus read out, adjusting his glasses as he ran his finger down the page.
"There aren't any heirs to the Founding Families though." Professor Sprout frowned, "You-Know-Who was supposedly the heir of Slytherin, and I'd believe that, but he's dead now and there aren't any confirmed heirs from the other three."
"The School says that Misses Founder Helga has an heir in America!" the little elf protested, "The school sent them a letter!"
-Percy-
Yawning as he stretched, walking down the stairs of his and Annabeth's Home, twenty-five-year-old Percy Jackson paused when he saw an exceptionally tired looking owl Standing on their kitchen table, a letter tied to its leg.
"Um…honey…are you expecting a letter from your Mom?" He called back upstairs, unsure who else besides a child of Athena or Athena herself would be sending them a letter via owl.
"A letter?" Annabeth yawned as she followed him down the stairs "What are you talking abou-…oh." Annabeth blinked when she saw the owl standing there, clearly waiting for one of them to take the letter. Leaving her to get the letter from the bird while he got it some water, he nearly dropped the bowl when he heard Annabeth gasp.
"What is it?!" he rushed back in, his powers thankfully keeping the water from flying out of the bowl that was hastily being placed by the thirsty owl.
"There's a secret magic school in England?" Annabeth showed him the letter which, after a bit, he was able to read through the Dyslexia.
"And I'm being asked to be the Headmaster because I'm descended from a school founder?" He blinked before looking at Annabeth "Mom's a Witch?"
"…You call your Mom, I'll call Hazel, let's figure out what's going on." Annabeth sighed before she began to chuckle "Hey, at least this 'surprise secret world' will hopefully be less dangerous than the last one."
"Please don't Jinx us."
AN: So yeah, Percy becoming Headmaster starting from year 3 because his mom was from a long Squibbed out line from Helga Hufflepuff. Thanks to demigod nature, Ivelmory didn't send him a letter or notice him. He'd be going with a few other demigods who are curious about magic world/looking for work.
