"Are you sure you can't come tonight?" Astoria asked with a small frown on her face as she straightened her hair.

She was supposed to meet Daphne in the common room in fifteen minutes for one of Mattheo's "special parties". The name left something to be desired but they were the talk of Slytherin house. Few people were invited to them and even fewer were invited back. Mattheo was known for his raving personality but he rarely threw parties by himself. Most of the common room parties were a joint effort but these late-night escapades were all Mattheo.

Daphne had occasionally let the details of them slip to her. Firewhisky, games, intense makeout sessions, all things kept very hush between a small group that met in front of the fireplace at night on very rare occasions. Tonight was one such occasion.

And, for the first time, Astoria was invited.

Aria was invited too but she had "plans" that would keep her confined to the bedroom, plans that probably included a certain Theodore Nott. Astoria was a little bummed that her friend wasn't going to be there—Mattheo was probably bummed for the same reason—but she couldn't lie: the idea of spending a night at a party sitting next to Draco thrilled her. Even if Daphne would be there too.

So she spent the night straightening her hair and making sure her makeup was perfect. Her lipgloss shone in the dim light in the room, as did her smooth hair. She wore a white strapless tube top and paired it with jeans that made her waist look even thinner. She felt pretty, prettier knowing that Draco would stare at her like a queen.

Draco. The last couple of weeks since her episode in the hallway had been blissful with him. Full of loving, touching, cuddling, other things. He made her feel on top of the world every time she was with him, always spoiling her with flowers and gifts and calling her the sweetest names. It was as if poetry spilled from his lips every time he was with her. He was just so smooth and charming and perfect. The perfect gentleman. Or, rather, her perfect gentleman.

He wouldn't be able to talk to her much at Mattheo's party, not with Daphne around, but that was fine as long as he was lying next to her in bed later. Right now, that was all she wanted: a night with her boyfriend. Well, secret boyfriend.

She would be lying if she didn't say that the secret was beginning to grate on her, like a bruise that worsened more and more on her as the weeks passed. But Draco assured her that he would take care of it and she trusted him more than anything.

Aria sighed. "Sorry. Busy." But Astoria could tell from the glint in Aria's eyes that she wasn't that sorry. Who could blame her? If Astoria had the opportunity to spend a night with Draco completely alone, she would take it. But Draco was a known presence at things like this and it would be odd if he missed it, especially since his fiancee was attending. Astoria didn't mind going—she was rather excited, actually—but she was a little envious that Aria could spend time with Theo like this.

"Well, you'll have to tell me all about it later," Astoria mused. "I feel like you've given no details on your love life lately. And a best friend should definitely know these things."

Aria side-eyed her friend. "Ditto."

She knew. There was no way she didn't know what her best friend was up to, what with Astoria spending every night with Draco and blushing every time she saw him during the day. Aria was intelligent and observant. If she didn't know yet, she at least had a strong guess.

"Well, I doubt much will happen tonight but I'll fill you in anyway."

Aria smirked. "Famous last words."

Famous last words, indeed. A few shots of firewhisky, a couple of secondhand hits of some unknown rolled-up substance, and several embarrassing stories later, Astoria was sitting at Mattheo's party, squished between Draco and Daphne. There were only a handful of them there but that somehow livened the party. The fire danced across the edges of the room while the group laughed into the early hours of the morning.

Daphne, in true Daphne fashion, was the life of the party. She looked beautiful in a sort of grungy way, her blonde bangs mussed up with thick eyeliner under her eyes. Daphne and her friend, Tatum, were sharing a handle of firewhisky, which they occasionally shared with Astoria, who took what was quite possibly the smallest sip ever known to man. They shared inside jokes while Mattheo grilled them with "would you rather" questions. Astoria didn't answer many of them; most of them were far too vulgar for her liking.

Draco was next to her, looking like a knight in shining armor with his white dress shirt and gray slacks. He always looked so handsome but tonight, something felt different. Perhaps it was the alcohol or the way the fire danced across his strong jaw but she just wanted to run her tongue across him and kiss him until she felt numb.

But you can't. Only Daphne can. The thought made her frown.

"Are you alright?" Draco murmured in her ear.

Astoria bit her lip before nodding unconvincingly. "Yeah, I just—"

"New game!" Mattheo said with a boyish smile, dimples and all, while clapping his hands together. He stood up and grabbed one of the empty firewhisky bottles before returning with a cheeky grin. "Spin the bottle: seven minutes in heaven style."

. . .

Stupid fucking Mattheo with his stupid fucking games. He was always doing shit like this, whether it was truth or dare, would you rather, or making childish bets. Draco didn't mind it before, when it was just the guys and the only harm was to their pride. But that was before his secret girlfriend—the love of his damn life—sat beside him, partaking in said games. Like hell she would be kissing someone other than him. He'd get his father to expel the bloody man who dared to even lay a hand on her. No, he'd get Tom to go after them.

Draco stole a glance at the girl beside him. She had been silent most of the party, her green eyes taking in everything with a wide look. But when Mattheo suggested his stupid game, she had stiffened. Fuck, he cursed. He wasn't going to let this happen. No fucking way.

"Rules are simple: spin the bottle and the person it lands on is the person you have to spend seven minutes in heaven with." Mattheo turned to Astoria and gave her a flirty wink. "Would you like to do the honors, Greengrass?"

Oh, he could wring that stupid Riddle's fucking neck. He could—

"Sure," Astoria's quiet, melodic voice said. She sounded way too innocent to be at one of these blasted nights. Why did he even let her come? Why did he not insist that she spend her night in her dorm room painting her nails and doing whatever else girls did on their nights in?

Because Nott is fucking her roommate and you couldn't resist spending time with her, a sarcastic voice in his head sounded. Draco sighed. It was right. When the options were being an idiot with Astoria and intelligent without her, he would always pick the former. He'd pick anything as long as it was with her.

Astoria's small hands reached out toward the amber firewhisky bottle in the center of the circle. Her nails were painted red and he couldn't help but imagine how they looked when they were wrapped around his dick last night. How they'd probably wrap around it later tonight if he had a choice.

But first, he had to take care of this stupid game.

Astoria spun the bottle and Draco acted quickly.

"Confundus," he muttered under his breath, his wand tucked to his side as it pointed at the spinning bottle. He was sure he missed it and he cursed himself for not hitting the glass as it moved around in several circles before slowing to a stop and...

Landing on Draco.

Noise sounded from around the room. Thank Merlin, he thought with relief. It must have worked.

"Oooh, Malfoy's got his fiancee's sister!" one voice said.

"The Greengrass girls like Malfoy it seems," another taunted.

"Daphne, you better watch out for your man!" He thought he heard Pansy exclaim.

"Good going, Malfoy, you got the prettiest one here!" Mattheo groaned, which earned him a swift punch in the ribs from Pansy. "Okay, okay, out of a solidly good-looking pool, is that what you want me to say?" She punched him again before nodding with satisfaction.

Draco stood up and looked down at a blushing Astoria. He wanted to smirk but that would have been far too obvious, especially since he was trying very hard to keep his dick down. It was already hardening at the idea of spending seven minutes alone with Astoria. No amount of time with her was ever enough.

"Shall we?" Draco purred as he held out his hand. She placed her small fingers in his. Her green eyes looked into his, saying, Okay, Dray.

I've got you, his gaze replied back. I've always got you.

He led her over to one of the broom closets at the edge of the room while the rest of the group whooped and hollered. Mattheo followed behind them with a smirk before shoving them inside. "You've got seven minutes you two. No more, no less. Got it?"

Astoria looked nervous, though her voice didn't show it. Always the strong lady, always putting on that front. "Got it."

Mattheo gave her a smile that was half-sympathetic and half-mischievous. "Don't worry, Baby Greengrass. Malfoy will play nice."

"I highly doubt he'll be anything other than naughty," Astoria grumbled under her breath, low enough so Mattheo couldn't hear it. Draco responded with a gentle slap on her ass only to find Astoria's fiery green irises turned on him. He just smirked in response.

Mattheo swung open the door with a grin. "Okay, you two. Have funnnnnn."

And then the door was shut and they were alone.

Astoria's eyes darted around the broom closet, recoiling in disgust when she saw how dirty it is. He had to bite his lip to hold back a laugh seeing her somewhere she clearly did not belong. "So..." she began with a slight nervous high pitch tone in her voice.

But then Draco's lips were on hers, cutting her off from whatever it was she was about to say.

Astoria gasped into the kiss, letting his tongue in to explore her. Draco's arms snaked around her waist, pulling her body flush against his. He practically groaned when their pelvises met; she could no doubt feel his hardened dick against her.

The kiss was feverish and passionate. He could never get enough of her, moving his lips constantly against hers, tasting every inch of her mouth. Astoria was more hesitant—probably because they were in a filthy broom closet—but Draco more than made up for it.

"Merlin... I... love... you," Draco gasped in between kisses. She responded by wrapping her arms around his neck and running her hands through his hair. He almost moaned at the feeling of those red fingernails scratching against his skull.

Astoria's hands began to move slowly down his chest before finding themselves at the waistband of his pants. But before she could go any lower, he grabbed her wrists, stopping her.

She didn't push, immediately stilling, though still kissing him. He swore, though, that he could feel a little bit of hurt at his "rejection".

Draco pulled back and looked her in the eyes. Those beautiful eyes the color of spring grass at Malfoy Manor. "My love, it's not that I don't want to—"

"No, no, it's fine," she said quickly. He chuckled deeply and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"It's not fine. I don't you to think that I'm pushing you away when Merlin knows that I only want you closer. It's just," he gestured around to the broom closet, "We're here. You deserve somewhere much finer to be ravaged and I think I'll need much longer than seven minutes."

Astoria smiled softly. "Thank you for telling me. But even if that wasn't the case, you're allowed to have boundaries just as much as I am. I'm not in this for the pleasure, though that is a bonus."

His heart swelled even more. "How are you so perfect?"

She smiled sweetly but even in the dim light of the closet he could see the mischief on her face. "You know what they say. Diamonds take a lot of refining."

"And a diamond you are indeed." His hands settled on the small of her back and pulled her closer. When he spoke again, it was a deep murmur that made her breath hitch. "But just so you know, if we were alone in my bedroom right now, all of Hogwarts would be hearing you scream my name."

Astoria bit her lip and he grinned. "But we don't want to get caught, do we, darling?" he asked with a grin.

"You're such a tease, Draco Malfoy."

He snorted. "I could say the same thing about you, wearing jeans that show off an ass only I can grab and a top that's successfully made every girl in Hogwarts jealous of your figure."

She beamed and did a small twirl. "You like?"

Draco clenched his jaw to keep from pouncing on her. Your time is almost up. Someone could walk in at any moment, he told himself but even that was starting to not be a deterrent. Not when she looked so damn delicious. He just wanted to turn her around and fuck her against the wall so the stupid git outside the room knew who she belonged to. Bend her over backward so they all knew who she belonged to.

Calm yourself, Draco. You can do that later. He wasn't used to not being composed but Astoria sent him all out of whack with just one look with her pouty, shiny lips.

"I love," he finally rasped once he got his raging hormonal thoughts under control. "You are..." But his brain couldn't come up with an appropriate response.

"Yours," Astoria finished with a sweet smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm yours."

"Damn right." He smirked before kissing her gently. Draco was about to deepen it before the sound of a key turning in the door as made.

"Okay, lovebirds," Mattheo drawled from outside the room. "Time's up!"

. . .

When Mattheo opened the door, all he would see is Draco and Astoria on opposite sides of the closet. He wouldn't notice the way Astoria's lips were slightly red from Draco's hungry kiss. He wouldn't notice how rumpled Draco's dress shirt had become from Astoria's hands. He wouldn't notice the way both of their hair was messed up from passionate hands. He wouldn't notice the way both of them were breathing heavily nor the way they seemed to sit a little closer for the rest of the night, unable to stand being away from each other any more. No, Mattheo wouldn't notice any of these things.

But Daphne would.

I'm sorry this has been so long coming! I've been so into Tom's story (which if you haven't checked out yet, you definitely should). Let me know what you think! 3

Also, I'm trying to decide if I want to add a Christmas chapter. It probably wouldn't be long nor would anything that important happen but if you guys want some extra fluffiness, I'm down to write it!
