/I'm gonna be honest with y'all. I had a bit of trouble writing last chapter. Z-arc's strategies, although powerful, are stale and repetitive.\
Chapter 24: Battle Against the Demon Part 2
Osrelios and Ray are flying on Uria, traveling towards a portal leading to the Mortal Realm.
"We're almost there." Ray stated.
Oz was silent and looked forward at the portal. The two then jump through when they were close enough.
The duo then appeared in the Mortal Realm.
Oz was a spirit, and Ray had the physical body.
The two quickly notice the barrier being surrounded by debris.
"Let me have the physical form. I'll clear the debris." Oz stated.
"Got it." Ray responded.
A glow occurred from the Millennium Puzzle and Oz had a physical body again.
Oz then sent out a surge of energy, destroying the debris.
They take a look around the Throne Room.
"No one's here... could they have gone to fight Z-arc?" Oz questioned.
"Probably." Ray said.
Oz then walked out of the Throne Room and saw the lack of walls in the hallway.
The duo then also saw the giant dragon.
It was far, but still looked huge.
Not saying a word, Oz used electric energy from Hamon and took off running.
Back with the Duel against Z-arc, the others are struggling with ways to overcome his defenses.
"My turn!" Z-arc shouts.
Z-arc LP: 3800 hand: 1
"I attack Elemental Hero Neos!" Z-arc declared.
Z-ARC fired off an attack that went straight for Neos.
"I use Cyber Barrier Dragon to negate your attack!" Ryo countered.
Cyber Barrier Dragon suddenly got in front of Neos and activated a huge green barrier that blocked the attack.
Z-arc was visibly annoyed by the counter strategy. The Duelists were in a lock. Z-arc can't get an attack on to take out a Duelist, and his opponents can't seem to break through his strategies.
"You ants are more coordinated than I thought. I set 1 card face down and end my turn."
"My turn. Draw!" Jaden shouts.
Jaden LP: 4000 hand: 1
"Still nothing... I summon Elemental Hero Prisma. Now I sacrifice Prisma so that Yubel may stay on my field."
Prisma appeared and immediately disappeared as Jaden ended his turn.
Before Ryo could take his turn, the sound of a vehicle approached.
The Duelists turned and saw Jack Atlas.
Jack shared a look with the others before looking at Z-arc.
"So that's what happened to Yuya." He stated.
Not too long later, Crow was seen to be running in, with Silvio and Gong not too far behind him.
Crow looks at Z-arc and then at Jack. "Team up for old time's sake?"
Jack nodded. "I suppose we can put aside our differences and duel side by side like how we did when we were younger. You guys don't mind if we join?" Jack said the last part referring to the others who are against Z-arc.
"Not at all." Ryo said.
"Good." Crow replied. He then turned to look at aging and Silvio "you two stay back. We need someone to look after the injured." Crow motioned to Edo and Sora, who were both lying on the ground, clearly in pain.
Crow and Jack then stepped forward, or drove in Jack's case.
"I'll start." Crow stated.

"First I'll summon Blackwing - Bora the Spear."
Blackwing - Bora the Spear: atk: 1700
"Next since I control another Blackwing, I can summon Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind!"
Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind: atk: 1300
"Now I tune level 4 Bora the Spear to level 3 Gale the Whirlwind. Spread your jet-black wings, and storm forth in tandem with the roaring thunder! A slash of lightning! Synchro Summon! Cascade, Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower!" Crow chanted.
Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower: atk: 2600
"Next I activate Raikiri's effect. I'll destroy your dragon!" Crow declared.
Raikiri sent out a slash wave that hit Z-ARC, but did nothing to it.
Jack then looked at Crow with a deadpan stare. "You always rushed into things without thinking. Looks like somethings never change."
"Really? Now of all times?" Crow said back.
Z-arc seemed to be annoyed that the two weren't paying attention to him.
"Continue with your turn!" Z-arc shouted.
Crow then gave a light glare at Jack. "We'll finish this argument later."
Crow then looked forward. "Since I control a Blackwing monster, I can summon Oroshi the Squall and Kris the Crack of Dawn."
Blackwing - Oroshi the Squall: atk: 400
Blackwing - Kris the Crack of Dawn: atk: 1900
"Next I tune level 4 Kris to level 1 Oroshi. Pitch-black gale, become the tailwind that ties our bonds! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Assault Blackwing - Sohaya the Rain Storm!" Crow chanted.
Assault Blackwing - Sohaya the Rain Storm: atk: 1500
"When Sohaya is summoned using a Blackwing monster, it can be treated as a tuner." Crow explained.
"Ah, planning on summoning 'that' one aren't you?" Jack said.
"You bet! Now I tune my level 7 Raikiri to level 5 Sohaya! This may not be an Accel Synchro like the one Yusei's kid pulled off, but this will have to do! Jet-black wings, wield the power of thunder, and resonate through the skies! Synchro Summon! Slash! Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder!" Crow chanted.
Onimaru appeared and brandished its sword.
Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder: atk: 3000
"Now, Onimaru attack that giant dragon! When Onimaru battles, it gains atk equal to the total amount of Synchro Summons this turn times 1000! Go, Thunderbolt Clap!" Crow shouts.
Onimaru: atk: 6000
"Crow, no! That will only make it worse!" Sora shouted from where he was laying.
"What?" Crow questions.
Onimaru became a bolt of lightning that zipped around and struck Z-ARC at the neck.
A huge lightning strike hits Z-ARC, but as it hits, it is turned into green particles that where absorbed into Z-arc.
Z-arc LP: 5800
Z-arc began to laugh. "With Supreme King Gate Zero, I don't take damage, with Supreme King Gate Infinity, all negated damage is converted into LP."
"I set 2 cards and end my turn." Crow declared.
"In that case it's my job to show you up. Again." Jack stated. "My turn. Draw!"
Jack LP: 2000 hand: 6
"I'll start by normal Summoning Red Resonator." Jack declared.
Red Resonator: atk: 600
"Next, since I summoned a Resonator monster, I can Special Summon Red Warg under the condition of halving its atk."
Red Warg: atk: 700
"Next I tune level 6 Red Warg to level 2 Red Resonator. The heaven and earth shall tremble before the king's might. Let the power of the one and only supreme ruler be carved into your soul! Synchro Summon! The savage soul, Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend!" Jack chanted.
Scarlight flew up from a portal of fire and roared at Z-ARC
Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend: atk: 3000
Jack then pointed at Z-arc. "Yuya and Yugo! I know the both of you are there! I call upon your souls! Break free from this hold on you! Yuya, you were the one to bring the City together. Yugo, I know you have been a fan of mine for a long time, your determination was exemplary."
Z-arc felt something within himself. He concentrated to bury that feeling deep down.
Jack's Extra Deck began to glow.
With Oz and Ray, the card for Red Supernova Dragon suddenly flew out of his Stardust Deck.
The card flew forward at a really fast speed.
Oz paused for a second, watching the card fly.
"... okay. That happened."
Oz then took off running as fast as he could.
Back with Jack, a card suddenly flew over to him and landed in his hand.
He looked over it and then smirked.
"I Special Summon Vision Resonator." Jack declared.
Vision Resonator: atk: 400
"Next I Special Summon Synkron Resonator."
Synkron Resonator: atk: 100
"And finally I activate the spell card: Call of the Resonator. This card allows me to Special Summon a Reaonator monster from my hand if I control a Dark Dragon Synchro monster. I Special Summon Mirror Resonator."
Mirror Resonator: atk: 0
"Next I triple tune my level 8 Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend, to my level 1 Mirror Resonator, level 1 Synkron Resonator, and level 2 Vision Resonator. The king and devil combine here! Merge and become the burning sun! Synchro Summon! Red Supernova Dragon!" Jack chanted.
Red Supernova appeared from a vortex of fire and roared.
Red Supernova Dragon: atk: 4000
Jack then smirked. "Red Supernova Dragon gains 500 atk for each Tuner in my GY." Jack explained.
Red Supernova Dragon: atk: 6000
Jack then smirked. He had the perfect counter if Z-arc tried anything.
"I end my turn."
"My turn. Draw." Ryo declared.
Ryo LP: 4000 hand: 2
Ryo then looked at the card he drew and smirked.
"I activate Mystical Space Typhoon. I destroy your Supreme King Gate Zero!" Ryo declared.
"I activate the Trap: Supreme King Dance. With it, once per turn, if a Supreme King card I control would be destroyed, it is not." Z-arc counters.
"He had a counter for that!?" Silvio exclaimed from the sidelines.
"I'll just have to end my turn." Ryo declared.
"My turn. Draw." Kaito said.
Kaito LP: 2000 hand: 2
Kaito looked over his hand and field. 'All this is making me wish I decided to keep Photon. It's too late for that now, I'll just have to help the others.'
"I end my turn." Kaito reluctantly stated.
"My turn. Draw." Shun stated.
Shun LP: 2000 hand: 2
"I have nothing I can do. I'll end my turn."
Z-arc then smirked. "My turn. Draw!"
Z-arc LP: 5800 hand: 1
"I set 1 card face down. I'll end my turn." Z-arc concluded.
"My turn. Draw." Jaden declared.
Jaden LP: 4000 hand: 1
Before Jaden could make a move, Z-arc immediately activated a card.
"I activate the Trap: Supreme Rage! I summon my four Supreme King Dragons from my Hand, Deck, Extra Deck, and GY." Z-arc declared.
"Come forth! Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing, Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion!"
The four corrupted dragons roared out.
Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes: atk: 2500

Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing: atk: 2500
Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion: atk: 2500
The Duelists could see the activated trap appear again before dissipating in the way of a card being banished, then spectral forms of the two Darkwurms appeared and turned into energy flying towards Dark Rebellion. The energy then became Overlay Units.
"When Clear Wing is summoned, it can negate the effects of all of your monsters and destroy them!"
"As if I'd let you!" Jack shouted. "Red Supernova Dragon's effect! When you activate a monster effect, I can banish Supernova to banish your field!"
"Through my effect, the activated effects of your Fusion, Synchro, XYZ and Pendulum monsters can't reach my monsters!" Z-arc stated.
"But your Gates are a different story!" Jack shouts.
Supernova started to consume itself with flames and then shot forward towards Z-arc's field.
At the same time, Clear Wing shot out a bunch of beams of energy that flew towards everyone's fields.
Supernova burned through the energy as it then continued forward and struck right through Z-arc's Gates.
Rising Rebellion Falcon got in front of Shun as the monster easily shrugged off the energy.
Other monsters were not as lucky. Every monster that wasn't a Supreme King monster, Supernova, or Rising Rebellion were bombarded with energy that destroyed them.
Everyone other than Shun had an open field.
Jaden, while upset that Neos got destroyed, wasn't as worried due to the fact that Yubel wasn't destroyed by her own effect.
Energy began to gather as everyone could hear Yubel's voice. "Das. Abscheulich. Ritter."
Suddenly Yubel - Terror Incarnate appeared.
Yubel - Terror Incarnate: atk: 0
Jaden then smirked as he now had a move.
"Yubel - Terror Incarnate, attack Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes!"
Z-arc began to laugh. "Are you trying to self-destruct? With Odd-Eyes on the field, any battle damage dealt by a Pendulum monster is doubled."
"Well then, that made my play even better. When Terror Incarnate battles, all damage is reflected to the opponent! Take 5000 damage!" Jaden shouts.
Odd-Eyes fired off an attack at Terror Incarnate, but it responded with its own attack, which overpowered Odd-Eyes and caused Z-ARC to roar in pain.
Z-arc LP: 800
Z-arc then glared at Jaden, clearly furious about taking so much damage.
"I'll set a card and end my turn." Jaden declared.
Before Ryo could make a move, everyone heard the sound of fire.
The sound of fire was in bursts, and the sound of electricity could be heard.
At the same time, Yusho, the 4 Bracelet Girls, and Declan all arrived at the scene.
The 6 who just arrived could then hear the fire and electricity.
They all turned to see what was making the noise, Z-arc also looked.
Suddenly a glow of blue energy appeared from behind a wall.
Osrelios could then been seen, flying through the air, surrounded by lightning, and fire emitting from his feet in bursts.
Oz then landed in fron of everyone, facing Z-arc.
He turned back and face the others. "Looks like I made it in time."
"Oz!" Serena exclaimed.
Oz then looked around and saw that only Sora and Edo were injured.
Oz then took a look at Z-arc's LP. 800.
'That's a lot lower than I expected.' Oz then noticed Terror Incarnate. 'Oh.'
Ray the appeared next to Oz. "Z-arc!"
Z-arc looked at her. "You!"
Oz then looked back at the others. "Mind if I take it from here?"
They all smiled. "You must have finished your objective. Go ahead." Declan stated.
Oz then smiled and activated his Duel Disk.
The mechanical voice rung out. "Intrusion penalty. 2000 LP."
"My turn. I draw!" Oz shouts.

Oz then smirked. He took in a deep breath before staring his play.
"I return Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon back to the Deck and Extra Deck in order to Integration Summon!" Oz declared.
"Your going to what!?" Z-arc exclaimed.
The four Dimensional Dragons appeared next to Oz and began to float up into the air.
"The four summoning methods combine to reach the zenith of dimensional power. Become the one unyielding force of light that shall shower the Dimensions with Hope! Integration Summon! Odd-Eyes ArcRay Dragon!" Oz chanted.
The four dragons were then surrounded by golden smoke which positioned itself above the blue void.
The smoke reached out far before finally stopping. From the smoke, a pair of golden wings emerged from the top. The wings moved down and dispelled the smoke.
From the smoke, the light version of Z-ARC was revealed.
The dragon gave out a mighty roar.

Everyone looked at the dragon in awe.
Z-arc then noticed how his dragons all began to grey out.
"What is happening to my dragons?" Z-arc questioned.
"That would be ArcRay's passive effect. All of your Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, and Pendulum monsters of yours have their effects negated." Oz explained.
The other looked at him in surprise.
"Now I pay half my LP in order to summon as many Pendulum monsters from my face down Extra Deck as possible. Come forth! Starving Venemy Dragon, Clear Wing Fast Dragon, Dark Anthelion Dragon!"
The 3 dragons then appeared, roaring.

"Now I'll set the Pendulum Scale with scale 0 Odd-Eyes Astrograph Observer and scale 13 Odd-Eyes Chronograph Viewer!" Oz declared. "With them I can Pendulum Summon monsters of any level!"
"Ethereal powers that go beyond time and space. Gather together and call forth my allies from the far reaches of the timeline! Pendulum Summon! The eerie dragon with dichromatic eyes: Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" Oz chanted.
Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon appeared and roared.
Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon: atk: 2500
The 4 manga dragons then roared at the corrupted Dimensional Dragons.
The 4 corrupted dragons then began to glow.
"I now activate Odd-Eyes ArcRay Dragon's final Ability! ArcRay gains atk equal to the combined atk of all Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, and Pendulum monsters on the field other than itself!" Oz shouts. "Through the combined atk of all of our dragons and Shun's Falcon, ArcRay shall become even stronger!"
Odd-Eyes ArcRay Dragon: atk: 34100
Everyone stared in shock at the amount of atk.
"Now, ArcRay! Attack Supreme King Z-ARC!"
Z-ARC then fired its attack at ArcRay, which ArcRay responded by firing a golden version of the attack right back at Z-ARC.
The two attacks clash, but as soon as they do, the golden beam quickly overpowers the green one.
The attack then consumed Z-ARC.
Z-arc LP: 0
Z-arc screamed in pain as his body, as well as Z-ARC's body began to split apart.
A huge explosion occurred, leaving a lot of smoke.
Once the smoke cleared, it was shown that ArcRay was holding onto the 4 Dimensional Dragons in one hand, and the 4 pieces of Z-arc in the other.
ArcRay set the 8 figures down by Oz and the rest. Everyone could see that they were unconscious.
ArcRay then turned and faced a growing darkness behind it.
The darkness formed into a pitch black version of Z-ARC
ArcRay then shined brightly, causing the Z-ARC to roar.
Once the shining stopped, the darkness was gone, and in its place floated down a figure.
ArcRay caught the figure and set it down next to Oz.
They all looked at the figure in shock.
"Zarc!?" Ray exclaimed, tears threatening to escape her eyes.
Lying there was a spectral form of Z-arc as a human, otherwise known as the Duelist: Zarc.
Suddenly the world began to shake.
