At 9 am in the morning in Paris, Dick and Zatanna step out of the airport.
"I can't believe we are finally in Paris", Zatanna said excitedly as Dick held a cab.
"What are you talking about? We have been to Paris a bunch of times."
"Those were undercover missions and world saving events", she said as the taxi stopped in front of them.
"Fair point", he said, putting their suitcases in the trunk as she gave the address to the driver.
Dick sat next to her as they went to the hotel.
"Should we go visit Marinette after we put our luggage in the room?"
"Her school doesn't let out til two."
Then the cab stopped at Le Grand Paris. Dick grabs the luggage and walks beside her.
"What are we going to do until two?"
"I got a few ideas", he said with a playful smirk.
Zatanna blush and playful smack his shoulder.
At 1:50 at College Francoise Dupont Marinette stepped out of the girl restroom. She opens her backpack and gasps.
"Marinette what happened?", Tikki asked quietly.
"I bought the wrong sketch book", she said, pulling out a red sketch with a bunch of superhero stickers of the Justice League.
"What do we have here?," she heard the voice that made her life miserable.
She looked up to Chloe Bourgeois and Lila Rossi, with Sabrina Raincomprix following them. Lila grabs the sketch book out of her hand.
"Give that back!", Marinette said defensively.
"The Justice League?", Lila said, rolling her eyes as she saw the stickers.
"Just give it back."
She flipped it open and saw a bunch of sketches of the Team with outfits that match their uniform.
"These are lame. Who even is this?", she said, showing the sketch of M'gann's outfit.
"Just give it back!," Marinette yelled, wanting the sketch book back that she put her heart and soul into.
"Then catch", she said, throwing the book over the rail.
She watches in horror as the pages flow away. She then saw three pages of the people she lost before she moved to Paris. Marinette fell to her knees as she watched the pages fly away. Tears started to appear in her eyes.
Monarch sense a powerful emotion.
"Such sadness, loneliness, anger, and grief. Although no Alias ring, she is perfect."
Marinette was about to give up as the Akuma got closer.
"Gnirb em hcteks koob dna xif lla eht segap", they heard some kind of gibberish, but Marinette knows that language anywhere.
The Akuma moved away as the girls saw a beautiful raven hair woman and handsome raven hair man. Marinette looked so shocked. Her feet moved on her own as tackled the couple into a hug. Students started to come out by stop as they saw the famous Justice Leaguer Zatanna and son of Billionaire Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson. Marinette let them go.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"Nice to see you too Mari", Dick jokes.
"Marinette, sweetie, go wait outside while I tear these girls a new", Zatanna said gently as her eyes turned stone cold as she looked at the girls who were bullying Marinette.
"Zatanna please", Marinette begged.
"How dare you bully her?! Marinette is one of the sweetest girls ever! You took her sketchbook, that she worked so hard on for years! Do you think she is an easy target?! Her father Bruce will have your head on stick when he finds out! You absolutely don't get the right to hurt after she lost her brother!", she screams at them.
Marinette looked down as she felt everyone's eyes on them.
"Your father is Bruce Wayne?! That's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!", Chloe said.
"Yes, her father is Bruce Wayne. Her name is Marinette Todd", Zatanna said.
"Marinette, your last name is Todd?", her best friend Alya said.
Dick looked at his sister in shock.
"Marinette, you didn't let anyone know who you are?"
"I didn't want any special treatment because Bruce is my father."
"But you should have called one of us about this bullying. Are you even going to therapy? Are you even going to your doctor's appointments for your leukemia?", Dick questions her, filled with anger and worry.
"Marinette, are you sick too?", her friend Rose asked.
"Dick please", she begged him.
"That's it. I'm calling Bruce, telling him everything. You're moving back to Gotham", he said, with voice lacing authority.
"What?! Dick you can't do that!"
"This isn't up for discussion. We're leaving", he said, grabbing her wrist and dragging her out of the school with Zatanna following them.
