"The name is Skywalker... Gabby Skywalker." Gabby narrated as she had some smooth jazz music playing on her phone. "Seven, a princess, and left without a case. I've seen more magical villains in a week than shopping bags I see come home in a year."

Gabby sat in a chair, wearing a pink sherlock hat as she held her notebook, narrating to herself.

"That's when he walked in with a message for me."

"Hey, Nancy Drew." Anakin said. "It's time to come down for breakfast."

Gabby broke out of character and said, "Okay, Daddy. Is there a mystery afoot?"

"The only mystery I can think of is why Wrecker needs so much syrup on his waffles." Anakin said. "Now come on, before there aren't any left for you."

Gabby sighed and got out of her room. Lately, she'd started going through this phase of wanting to be a detective. It had recently been the anniversary of when Uncle Ono was killed, and Gabby still remembered that day greatly. It broke her heart especially seeing her mom so sad, and then she made it her job to help gather clues to put the killer behind bars. Afterward, she eventually started to wonder what she might do if she weren't becoming queen of Naboo someday. She'd thought about being a firefighter, a doctor, a basketball player, even a senator like her mom. But, after reading a few more Nancy Drew books and graduating to Sherlock Holmes, she decided to give detective a go. But for now, she was going to have some breakfast. A good detective looks after his or her own health before diving into a mystery.

And like a lot of mystery stories, it all started out like an ordinary day.

"Peek a boo!" Omega smiled, making Charlotte laugh.

Omega laughed too. It had been some time since that incident with the war chest, but Omega was feeling a lot better. She and Boba were doing well in school, and so far things seemed to look up. Boba was given another chance to try out for the cheer squad, and he made it! Omega also found a great group of friends to hang out with. Of course, she and Hera were staying best friends even though they were many miles apart. Omega even shared the optical illusion toy she got with Gabby. Gabby loved shiny things, so it was no surprise she took forever with her turn once she got started with it.

Omega thought after not being able to get more of the war chest, she wasn't doing enough. She shared this with her grandparents, and they told her that she did her best, and her best was good enough.

"If you really do want to do good for others," said Qui-Gon. "A good place to start is at home."

"You're little brother and sisters will need you to be their big sister." Shmi added. "Being a good big sister is a wonderful way to help them grow up into the best versions of themselves. Someday, they'll grow up feeling thankful that they had you for a role model."

So, Omega decided to be that. And she loved playing with the babies. Now she understood how Boba felt when he first became a big brother.

Wrecker tried to grab more bacon, until Goldie growled at him, this hungry look in her eyes that made Wrecker think twice.

"Uh... ladies first." Wrecker said nervously.

Goldie picked up as many strands as she could in her mouth and wolfed that meat down like a dog.

"Goldie!" Constantine scolded. "Stop eating like an animal this instant."

Goldie just growled at him too before shaking herself out of it.

"Sorry," said Goldie before swallowing. "I don't know what's going on with me. Suddenly, all I wanna do is eat meat and run around more than usual."

"You're probably just excited about something." Buttercup said. "When I was waiting for the results of basketball tryouts, I went nuts! I couldn't stop guzzling pineapple smoothies, though to be fair, if you'd tried my stepmom's smoothies, you wouldn't be able to stop anyway."

"Right now, everyone does need to stop talking and start going to arrive at school on time." Shmi said. "Children, get your things together."

So the kids did get ready. And Gabby kept on her sherlock hat.

"Ready for school, kids?" Anakin said.

"Ready, Dad." Omega said, grabbing her bag.

"I hear there are auditions at school today for a play. You guys think you might try out?"

"That would depend on the show." Boba said, Jingles coming up and climbing up Boba's pants with a meow. "Jingles, I told you, high school isn't for kittens."

"Here, kitty." Kara said, taking her nephew's kitten into her hands.

Mona didn't seem very talkative where school was concerned. A lot had changed for Mona since her aunt and uncle gave her the news that they decided they wanted to adopt her. Mariposa fit every aspect of a loving mother. And for as long as she could remember, Mona always wanted a dad, and other than Hunter, her Uncle Garrett was the closest thing she'd ever had. The adoption was very nearly finalized; Garrett just needed to hear back from his friend in the high commission to be sure. But, as happy as she was that she would get to start calling her aunt and uncle Mom and Dad soon, it made her wonder sometimes what her real dad was like.

"Mona, is everything okay?" Mariposa asked her niece, soon-to-be-daughter.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Mona said, grabbing her bag, a paper falling out, which Mariposa picked up. She found it was actually a note Mona was supposed to give to her parents or legal guardians yesterday. A note from the school's guidance counselor, saying they needed to speak with them personally today.

"Garrett, I think we may have an issue." Mariposa said, showing her husband the letter.

Later that same day, Comedia walked into school with her friends, excited for auditions for the school play, which was being directed by none other than Teatra Stagehoof, equine theater extraordinaire. She was especially excited because when she looked at the flyer that officially announced the play's title, it said they were holding auditions for Alice in Wonderland, Comedia's favorite book. She always loved how it was an entire story with a world where everything was nonsense, yet somehow there was some sense in a few things if took a closer look.

All her life, Comedia felt misunderstood. She was a silly kind of mare and a lot of stuff about her seemed like absolute nonsense to not be taken seriously, but once one dug deep enough into her mind, they found that things about her made more sense than they thought.

Somehow, it was like that story was made just for her, and she knew exactly what role she wanted to play. But she had to warm up for the role.

"Hey, Myra." said Comedia. "You gonna audition for the school play?"

"I don't know. Theater was never really my thing." Myra said. "I'm more a rock n' roll kind a girl."

"I might try out, though." Boba said. "Roya loves classic fairy tales, and the little kids loved when Grandpa read us Alice in Wonderland last week."

"Break a leg, then. Unless Alice or someone rocks a guitar, it's not really my thing."

"Well, it is true no can rock a guitar like you. But it never hurts to branch out." Comedia said. "I, myself have been dabbling into a couple new branches myself."

"Like what?" Omega asked.

"Well, stand-up is just one thing I do with comedy. But since my chemistry grade pretty much speaks for itself, if I do say so myself, I could go on to inventing new pranks and starting a shop of my own. In short, I might go into business someday as a backup career. Or who knows, maybe I'll follow Garrett's path and become a teacher in comedy school or something. Honestly, I'm just hoping it'll take my mind off the Greystone Dinner Disaster."

"I'm just glad my parents got a new social worker yesterday." Myra said. "Kade's been crawling into my bed every night since that dinner disaster. Mom and Dad won't let him crawl into bed with them, so I'm stuck with him."

"Yeah, my dad's been pretty stressed about it too." Comedia said. "I just don't get how Brittney could be such a meanie and have nice parents."

"Well, believe it or not, our moms were good friends, and we used to be friends too. Believe it or not, Brittney used to be very sweet until sixth grade. If it weren't for the home movies Mom and my step-dad made, I wouldn't believe it either."

"The same Brittney who's been banned from owning a horse and tried to get my adoption overturned was sweet?" Comedia really couldn't believe it.

"What next, Vince secretly volunteers at soup kitchens?" Boba said, almost laughing.

"I'm serious! We were practically inseparable as kids, and then one day, she just turned on me. It just goes to show, eyes tend to go to the obvious suspects, but in the end it's always the people you least suspect who commit the worst of crimes, the crimes that hurt people most."

Comedia couldn't believe it! Myra and Brittney used to be friends, and now she wondered why they were bitter enemies now.

"Did you guys fight at some point?" Comedia asked. "Did you ever try to make amends?"

"No. I don't know if puberty had anything to do with it either." Myra said sadly. "All I know is she decided making fun of people was cool. So, I'm guessing another source taught her to act like that. I mean, look at you. You had demons for parents, but you turned out better because you had your cousins to teach you compassion."

"Yeah, it's true. Cousin Reigna has that effect on most people."

"Now if only she could rub that off on some of the jerks we know here." Boba said.

"At least Vince has been too terrified by you and Omega getting clavatized to touch them." Comedia said to Boba. "So, it's a start."

"Have you met the new social worker yet, Myra?" Boba asked.

"Nope. My grandparents did though. Ever since they started going to therapy, they've been more pleasant to be around. And this new social worker they found, she's actually the same woman who helped Aunt Heidi gain custody of Rhett in the divorce."

"How is Rhett, by the way?" Omega said.

"I think he's okay. Kade and I are excited to see him again when he and Aunt Heidi arrive tonight."

"How long are they in town for?" Comedia asked.

"Not sure. Aunt Heidi is still house hunting, and Cousin Rhett is still going to therapy and homeschooling until he's ready to go to real school again."

"Well, I only met him at your sweet sixteen, but I've got a good feeling he'll be more like his mom than his dad."

"I'll thank God for that. It's a mystery how in so many families, there are members who are nothing like the rest. In other words, family weirdos. Like my being the only Jedi in my family besides my dad."

"Hey, you're not alone in that area. But, knowing I had another cousin, it makes me wonder so many things."

"Well either way, we're both late in Jedi training, and we'll have to prepare for a whirlwind of crazy after school. A never ending school day every day."

Comedia felt tired just thinking about it. First high school, then Jedi training, private tutoring with Garrett for her magic practice, and the auditions later that afternoon.

Meanwhile, Garrett and Mariposa went to Windy Falls to drop Mona off at her classroom. They each gave her a kiss goodbye and sent her in to join with her classmates, the child looking noticeably nervous. They left the classroom behind, but they didn't leave the school. Instead, they went to the office to speak with Ms. Perez, the school guidance counselor.

"Thank you for coming in today, Mr. and Mrs. Heartwood." said Ms. Perez.

"Is everything alright with Mona?" Mariposa asked.

"Unfortunately, I don't think everything is. Mr. Tenzin's shared some concerns that Mona doesn't seem to want to socialize that much, and she seems scared more of all the faculty. The other day, she freaked out when she misspelled a word and hid under her desk like she was going to be attacked."

Mariposa and Garrett immediately understood what this meant.

"I think we can both explain that," sighed Mariposa.

"I myself am a teacher, Ms. Perez." Garrett said. "I've taught in many classes and schools, and more than a few times seen cases like this before."

Garrett explained to the guidance counselor that Mona suffered from severe PTSD due to being a victim of emotional and physical abuse, which she had been rescued from recently. They only knew Mariverde was responsible for this, and they'd taken her in to make sure she would be safe. When she first arrived, she only trusted Hunter Fett, the one who rescued her, and thus she saw him as a protector and was naturally drawn to him for security. But slowly, she warmed up to other people as she got to do different activities.

Ever since they took Mona to Garrett's family reunion, the family found playing in the sand was one activity that made Mona happy. Lately, she seemed interested in building things with other materials too. Popsicle sticks, building blocks, even folding paper. Still, she didn't talk much about school, and Garrett checked with her teacher and Mona herself; no signs she was being bullied. Nevertheless, Garrett and Mariposa were concerned for her, and the note from the guidance counselor sealed the deal.

"Mona is well cared for at home. More than she ever was before." said Mariposa. "We thought putting her in a real school would be good for her. But, I guess she isn't emotionally ready yet."

"We may not have to pull her out just yet." Garrett said. "In my experience, Ms. Perez, it usually helps to have a classroom aid or an emotional support animal. And, Mona did recently get matched with an equine from Equinaro who I believe is qualified for the job."

"We would need to go through a little paperwork first for that," said Ms. Perez.

"Already came prepared."

Garrett handed the guidance counselor some papers he put together for a situation just like this. Veterinary notes, emotional support certification (Emeraldi received professional training recently), and a picture of Emeraldi. Ms. Perez took a look. Emeraldi had a pleasing appearance that shouldn't scare the other children, she was trained, housebroken, and had all her shots. She pretty much fit the bill, so Ms. Perez told the Heartwoods that she would talk to Mrs. Sumner about letting Emeraldi have a trial run tomorrow.

"Mona is very lucky to have such loving parents like you," said Ms. Perez. "It's not just Mona we've had concerns about, however."

"Goldie?" Mariposa said. "Is she having trouble too?"

"I can't say for sure. You see, Goldie has been improving in her classes, but we've been noticing something a little off."

"Off... how?"

"Mainly, she's been acting rather oddly in the cafeteria the last few days. Normally, we would dismiss a student wolfing their food as bad manners, but that wasn't the only odd behavior we've noticed recently."

Ms. Perez explained that recently, Goldie's grade in gym class improved the most because she suddenly could run a lot faster than before, climb the rope easily, and lift more heavy stuff, but she also started growling at other students randomly and nearly biting them sometimes.

"Oh dear." Garrett said. "That, I can also explain. Something Enchanted related, that is, but that's a long story. Don't worry, though, Ms. Perez. I've seen this kind of thing before as well, and my wife and I will see to it Goldie will be back to normal posthaste."

Later, as school ended at the Jedi Temple, Master Mundi sat nervously as the apartment was being inspected by the new social worker.

Soon, Master Mundi was startled out of his nerves by the sound of the front door opening and a voice calling, "Dad, I'm home!"

"Comedia, there you are." Ki-Adi said. "How was school?"

"A lot better today, and Teatra said I did great at my audition too."

"Is this lovely mare your daughter, Master Jedi?" said a new voice.

Comedia looked to see a tholothian woman she had never seen before.

"Yes, she is." Ki-Adi said. "Comedia, this is Ms. Jessica, our new social worker overseeing the case."

"Indeed. So far, it looks to me that this is a very safe and stable environment." Ms. Jessica said. "I just need to have a private interview with you, Comedia."

Comedia looked nervous, though. The last time she'd been alone in a room with a social worker, it felt more like a police interrogation. She looked at her father, who just gave a gentle nod.

"Go ahead, Dear."

So, Comedia walked into her bedroom and lay on her bed while Ms. Jessica sat down and started to ask her a few questions.

"Okay, Comedia. I'm going to ask a few questions about how you are here, and then we'll talk a little more serious. But you don't have to answer anything that makes you feel uncomfortable."

So far, Ms. Jessica seemed a lot nicer. And like she said, she asked Comedia to describe her situation in her adoptive home. Comedia, of course, described it as it was. Safe, secure, and here she was without a doubt loved unconditionally. Unlike others she'd been with, Master Mundi never gave up on her. If she did something bad, she got a timeout or no dessert, whereas in other homes, she'd been smacked, sprayed with water, or starved half to death.

"It feels a little strange being the only horse in school, where everyone's on two legs," Comedia confessed. "But I'm happy there, namely when Brittney isn't bothering my friends and I. Even though she deserved it, I still feel horribly guilty about biting her."

"Well, that shows you do have a conscience. You know, I myself was bullied in school."

"You were?"

"Yes. It's a real problem that's lived too long a cycle. In my experience, I was constantly teased for my weight. For a while, I purposely starved myself and overworked myself in exercising, only to end up in the hospital. I had to nearly lose my life to realize that letting what others said about me determine my worth was the worst possible decision I could make."

"Did anyone help you through it?"

"Yes. My uncle. Similar to you, he loved to joke around. I remember once, he came to the cheer practice, threw an old avocado to the floor as the cheerleaders were in a pyramid, and screamed 'Fire in the hole!' You've never seen a pyramid topple so fast."

Comedia giggled as she imagined such a simple yet clever prank. She had to use that sometime.

"I found it pretty funny at the time, but humiliating others isn't the answer. Remember, Comedia. If anyone is ever hurting you, it doesn't matter the reason. You don't have to be afraid to ask for help. Do you understand that?"

"Yes, Ms. Jessica."

Ms. Jessica said then that she had all she needed to make a conclusion, and both Comedia and Master Mundi were delightfully relieved when Ms. Jessica told them that it was clear Comedia was safe and loved in the Jedi Temple with Master Mundi as her guardian.

Comedia happy licked her adoptive father like a happy puppy to its owner. Ki-Adi never felt so happier to be licked than now.

"We were very fortunate this time, Comedia. But you will need to be careful not to get into anymore trouble at school so we don't go through this again," said Ki-Adi. "Do you understand that?"

"Yes, Daddy."

Ms. Jessica met the Windu Family next. And much like with the Mundies, she had a private interview with each member of the family. It didn't seem to bother her that Kade was the only light-skinned member of the family.

"Everywhere I go, people look at my family like we're monsters. Mostly my family." Kade told Ms. Jessica. "People think I'm in danger, but I'm not. And the mean lady who came before thought my mom adopted me just because of our different colors. I'm only white because my dad was. Is that really so hard to believe?"

"It's a sad reality, Kade. People are always looking for something to discriminate towards." Ms. Jessica said. "If anything, you're very lucky to have a family who loves you so much. Believe it or not, I had my share of discrimination. If it wasn't for my size before I lost weight properly, I got discriminated because I grew up without a mother and had a tomboy personality."

"You didn't have a mom?" Kade sounded surprised.

"No. She left shortly after I was born. And then I lost my father when I was around your age. I can't remember much about him, though. So, my uncle took care of me. But, we looked a little different too. You see, my uncle on my father's side, he was adopted when he was little. So, my uncle was a human, like you, whereas I am a tholothian. Inter-species adoptions have often been discriminated towards, and more so in my uncle's youth than yours or even mine."

"Do you see them a lot?"

"As a social worker, yes. But you don't need to be a particular species, or look the same to be a family. Only unconditional love. And I can tell your mother and your big sister love you very much. And your stepfather appears doing everything he can to prove he wants to be your father."

"I never knew my real dad." Kade said, squeezing his kangaroo. "Mommy says he died in a shuttle accident. I was too little to remember. Myra remembers, though."

"Ah, yes. Myra has expressed that being the day she became most protective of you."

It didn't seem that surprising. It wasn't until Valentine's Day earlier that year that Myra finally had her dad in her life. Before then, she felt abandoned when she learned her father left before she was even born, and Lyle Dawson was the only father she ever knew, so when she lost him, she was crushed. But it wasn't for her she was most concerned; Kade didn't deserve to think that his father didn't love him, or that not having a dad made him a freak. Neither of them had their fathers in their lives, and knowing how busy their mom was with her accounting firm, Myra was going to make sure Kade had a second parental figure, and she was willing to pound whoever dared to mess with her little brother. Let's just say, if you're a bully, and you're thinking of making Myra a target, you might wanna write your last will and testament before you strike, or make sure you're within ten miles of a hospital, if you're lucky. And when you make Kade a target... you've heard of Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear, but mess with Myra's little brother, you get Big Sister Bear.

"Myra gets scary when she's angry."

"Has she ever gotten angry at you?"

"Sometimes, but she never hurts me. Usually, the only thing she does is yell 'Get out of my room!' or 'Kade, stop that!'" She never does anything to hurt me."

Ms. Jessica made a note; it was clear Kade had a protective family, one who cared very much for him. But, he still dealt with a little insecurity about how other people looked at his parents and sister and saw their skin color as a threat to him. Still, as long as his family was caring for him, he would find a way to deal with it, and he would grow up safe and sound.

"Well, Ms. Brenda. It's clear your son is kept in a loving environment. And after interviewing your children and your groom-to-be, I believe it safe to say that Master Windu will be a wonderful father, just what both Myra and Kade need. I will file my report to the office and have the adoption papers ready for you by next week."

"Thank you, Ms. Jessica." Mace said.

A few days later, Mona went back to school, and this time she wasn't alone when she entered the classroom. Everyone in the classroom looked surprised when Mona came in with none other than Emeraldi.

"Mr. Tenzin." Garrett greeted. "I don't believe you've met Lady Emeraldi."

"I have not. Pleased to meet you, Emeraldi." Mr. Tenzin said.

"Pleased to meet you," said Emeraldi. "You probably already know, but I'm here as Mona's emotional support horse, her classroom aid."

Garrett brought out the papers that showed Emeraldi was licensed, and had the principal and guidance counselor's permission to accompany Mona to school.

"Well, looks like everything is in order." Mr. Tenzin said, and he gently pet Emeraldi's muzzle. "Welcome, Emeraldi. Take good care of Mona."

"I won't let you down, Sir."

"Emeraldi will take good care of you, Mona." Garrett promised. "You be a good girl, okay?"

"Okay." Mona nodded.

Goldie, meanwhile, was still at the palace.

"Why do I have to stay home from school today? I'm not sick." Goldie said. "Am I?"

"No, Sweetheart." Mariposa said. "But the guidance counselor told us about some things that have been happening at school."

"I didn't mean to try to bite anyone!" Goldie tried to defend. "It just came out somehow."

"We know, Goldie. It wasn't your fault. But I know why it's happening." Garrett said. "There's something else about my side of the family I never told you about. You'll want to sit down for this."

So, Goldie did sit down.

Meanwhile, everyone who auditioned went to look at the results that were just put up at the high school for Alice in Wonderland.

"Move it, losers!" Brittney said, pushing people out of the way. "Future star, coming through."

It was no surprise that Brittney was sure she'd get the star role for the school play. At her audition, she pointed out that she already had the natural blonde hair like Alice did, and flaunted a blue dress she wore just for the audition, saying, "Only a formality, since you'll no doubt pick me." But, Teatra was not one who could be bribed like some other casting directors, so she told Brittney, "You want the part, you gotta work and audition like everyone else."

Brittney pushed her way to the flyer, and her reaction...

"WHAT?!"

As you might've guessed, she didn't get the part.

"This is an outrage! Where is that so-called director?!"

"Well, looks like she got another taste of not getting her way," said Boba.

Boba looked at the cast list.

"Hey, I'm the Chesire Cat."

"Well, you got a cat at home now," said Myra. "You'll have a perfect teacher to help you practice."

"Yes! I'm the Mad Hatter!" Comedia cheered, happily flying around.

"Comedia, no flying in the halls!" called a teacher.

"Sorry!" Comedia said, getting down.

Myra also decided to take a look. After some convincing from her friends, she decided to audition, and she was shocked when she saw what part she got.

"I'm Alice!" Myra said.

"Really?" Omega said. "Wow, Myra. Congratulations! Oh! And I'm the Queen of Hearts."

"I'm gonna give Teatra a real big hug for this," said Comedia. "I'm the Mad Hatter!"

In case you hadn't guessed, the Mad Hatter was Comedia's favorite character in the story. She thought he was hilarious, and she loved dressing as the Mad Hatter for Halloween, but a lot of people told her that was guy's role. Now, she would get to prove in this play that a girl could be just as crazy as a guy in the Mad Hatter's role... if not, better.

After school, Teatra had the cast meet for the first time. Everyone looked so excited to be working on Alice in Wonderland. Except for Brittney.

"Hey, Wicked Horse of the West!" Brittney shouted, angrily pointing at Omega. "How could you make me understudy to that?!"

"Brittney, you know I can see you, right?" Omega said.

Brittney paid no mind to her though.

"I should be playing Alice, not being the substitute for some princess playing a role with playing cards as her backup."

Teatra was calm and said, "Brittney, you may have taken drama classes, but your attitude is not gonna get you anywhere. I gave the starring role to Myra because she holds the maturity and logical mind required to play the character properly. And I know, in the original story, Alice is light-skinned, but in the theater, as long as the script permits, the actors can have any appearance. And nothing in the script says that Alice has to be blonde with light skin. Besides, Myra looks great in blue."

"Why, thank you." Myra smiled.

"Should I wear my Halloween costume for the play too?" Comedia asked, raising her hoof.

"We'll get to costumes soon, Comedia. I couldn't imagine anyone more fitting for the role." Teatra said. "Don't forget to really let loose with the silly on stage."

"You can count on me!" Comedia did a back flip and blasted a small burst of confetti from her horn, which got everyone excited.

"That's the energy we're looking for!" Teatra cheered.

"This isn't over!" Brittney said. "This show will be a disaster anyway. I'm out!"

And with that, Brittney left disgruntled.

"See, everyone, that's how not to behave." Teatra said. "Now, I chose all of you because each of you shows potential, and I grew up in the theater, so I got high standards. I'm gonna need all of you to give it your all. And don't think you'll get special treatment because you're my rider's siblings or because you're Jedi. I'm not weak-minded enough to be mind tricked. It takes a strong mind to fill the starring role, which I myself have filled a few times. But even I have my share of what some would call a smaller role. But there are no small roles. Only small actors. Those of you working behind the scenes, your roles are just as important. It takes more than actors to make a show. So, remember, rehearse your lines, embrace your characters, and remember to keep a healthy diet and lifestyle so you can fit into your costumes. Rehearsals will begin this Friday, so everyone get rehearsing. Dismissed."

"So, that's really what's been causing it?" Goldie said. "Does anyone else know?"

"Not yet, but we'll tell them soon. But we have to go about it carefully. We'll educate everyone together in Saturday's class. For now, Sweetheart, you need to keep your anger in check." Garrett explained. "And, I have a little something that will aid in the process."

Garrett took out a strand of black jade beads on which hung an amethyst heart.

"It's beautiful." Goldie said.

"Yes, and it's very powerful too. Wear this in the day time, and place it under your pillow at night. Don't lose it. You're only in what is referred to as the cub stage of this passage. But as you grow up, we'll continue the steps I went through, and you'll be able to control it. The most important thing is not to be afraid of it. It is a natural cycle, and must be allowed to run its course, but you will be able to tame it so it doesn't start controlling you."

At school a few days later, Comedia sat at her desk, when Mrs. Sulvan, the teacher, came in a little late.

"Sorry, I'm late everyone." said Mrs. Sulvan. "Had some shuttle trouble."

Mrs. Sulvan sat at her desk, and... fart!

Students laughed when Mrs. Sulvan jumped up from her seat and found a whoopee cushion.

"Alright, who's responsible for this?" Mrs. Sulvan demanded, but then she found writing on it. "Comedia Mundi..."

"What? No, I didn't put that there." Comedia said.

"Then why does this whoopee cushion say 'Property of Comedia Mundi' on it?"

Comedia paused for a moment.

"I must've dropped it and someone else picked it up." Comedia said.

Mrs. Sulvan didn't look like she believed her at first, but said she'd let her off with a warning this time. So, she got out her marker to write on the board, only for nothing to come out. She shook it a little, still nothing. Except, the classroom started to smell strange.

"Eww! It smells like rotten eggs in here!" said one girl.

The smell eventually got so bad, the whole class began running out, holding their noses. But that wasn't the only incident to occur.

Later that same day, Mr. Phillis, the astronomy teacher, realized he left his lesson plan in the teacher's lounge. But when he walked into the teacher's lounge, he got sprayed with spray glue and glitter bombs. Then, at lunch, everyone's food was full of hay. Then, after the boy's fourth period gym class, the guys went to shower, only to come out dyed every color of the rainbow from head to toe.

"I don't think this is what they mean when they say go green." Vince grumbled, looking at himself in the mirror, his hair and skin dyed green.

Even though he was dyed orange, Boba couldn't help laughing when he saw Vince. But still.

"Why would someone dye everyone different colors?" Boba said.

"Someone who wants to play a big prank, apparently." Myra said, opening her locker, only to nearly get pied in the face. She would have if she hadn't jumped back and let the pie hit the floor. "Okay, how the heck did that get in there?"

That wasn't even half the pranks that happened in that one day.

And it wasn't even just one day. Over the next week, all kinds of pranks happened.

Someone switched the signs on the bathrooms, put a bouncy spring on the biology teacher's chair that sent her flying into a bucket full of worms glued to the ceiling, super glued the benches in the gym, turned all the books in the library backwards, and dumped balloons filled with chocolate syrup and whipped cream all over the coach's speeder. Even that wasn't half the pranks that happened all together.

Eventually, things got so bad, the fire department and the police had to be called, as one student stepped in a snare that pulled her up high and had her clinging for her life from the edge of the roof! And in another incident, several students opened their lockers to find pies or cans of paint in there, waiting to splatter them.

All the students were sent home early on Friday, and all extracurriculars were postponed while the police investigated the premises. They didn't find much on security footage at first, but they did find some other things. They found some hay near one of the lockers, and some gummy bears that were dropped. But then they found something on the wall that gave them a big clue of who the culprit was.
