Facility
Signing the last of his release paper, Kiryu is still in shock about his release. He had honestly given hope on ever being free but somehow, just after the day he got his Deck back, he was told that he was being released. Stepping out of the Facility, he sees Ben waiting for him.
"How did you do it?" He asked having gotten an idea of who helped in his release
"Let's just say I got lucky." Ben said causing Kiryu to just stare at him
"I honestly don't know what to say. This entire thing feels like a dream." Kiryu said
"If you like, I could pinch you. Just to confirm it isn't a dream that is." Ben said causing Kiryu to smile slightly
"Thank you. I'll make sure to return the favor." Kiryu said
"There's no need for that." Ben said trying to wave him off
"Still, I won't forget this." Kiryu said
"So what now?" Ben asked
"I honestly don't know." Kiryu admitted
"Well, if it's not too much you can come live with me. I've talked-"
"No. You've already done enough for me as it is right now. I would like to find my own path." Kiryu said causing Ben to nod
"Well in the meantime, why don't you come cheer for me at the Fortune Cup Tournament. You can consider this payback for helping you." Ben said
"I don't see any problem with that." Kiryu said
"By the way, I was able to get your old runner working. Apparently, it was confiscated during your arrest." Ben said directing Kiryu's gaze to his Old Runner
"I'm definitely paying you back, one way or another." Kiryu said
Fortune Cup Stadium
Ben is moving through one of the many walkways in the stadium as Kiryu had elected to spectate with the crowd saying "He was not ready to meet up with Yusei or Jack". Stepping into the room where the other Duelists for the tournament are waiting, Ben bumps into Akiza who is about leaving the room. She glares at Ben who looks unamused by her attempt at looking threatening. After a while she leaves the Room without saying a word.
"What's her problem?" Ben asked taking a look at the room residents
Yusei, Rua, Ruka, Bommer, Shira (who is actually Hunter Pace), Gill Randsborg and Commander Koda.
"Hey, you're that Officer guy that Dueled Yusei." Rua got up pointing at Ben
"Glad you remembered me. The name's Ben by the way" He said extending his hand to Rua who hesitantly shook it
"Rua, this here is my sister Ruka." He said directing Ben's gaze to his sister
"Nice to meet you." Ben said to her
"Likewise." Ruka said eying Fader and Resonator who are floating by Ben
"You we're right Boss, she can see us." Fader said
"Apparently she will also hear us if you don't keep your voice down." Resonator shunned Fader
"So we meet again. You're quite different from most Sector Security's I've encountered." Yusei said stretching his hand towards Ben
"I get that alot." Ben said returning the handshake
"So I take it you're here to escort us to the Arena?" Bommer asked
"Actually no, I'm actually participating in the tournament." Ben said
"Wait what? Since when does Sector Security participate in tournaments? Rua asked
"Look, I'm as shocked as you. It was Director Goodwin's idea." Ben said as Yeager walked into the room
"You should all get ready and head for the Arena. The tournament is about to begin." Yeager said and not a moment later left
"Well I guess that's our cue." Yusei said as one by one the participants started leaving the room with only Yusei, Rua, Ruka and Ben remaining.
"Can you see them?" Ruka asked causing Yusei and Rua to raise their brows
"What are you talking about?" Rua asked
"He has two Duel Spirits floating over his shoulder." Ruka said causing the other boys to look at Ben
"Yes, I can also see your Kuriboh." Ben said after a while
"Wow, you're just like Ruka!" Rua said with sparkling eyes
"Easy there kid." Ben said smiling at his reaction
"Do you also have a Signer Mark?" Rua asked
"What's that?" Ben asked
"It's this super co-" Rua tried saying
"Not now Rua. The tournament is about to start." Ruka said
"Oh right. Let's get going then." Rua said as they walked out of the room only to encounter Misty.
"Ben." Misty called
"Is that who I think it is!" Rua said barely able to control himself. Even Ruka had a somewhat similar reaction
"Misty? What are you doing here?" Ben asked
"Why so shocked? Can't I come and cheer up my favorite Officer?" She teased
"No…I mean yes you can." Ben stuttered causing her to laugh
"Dude you know Misty Lola! Somebody pinch me!" Rua said
"Calm down Rua, I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this." Ruka said looking at Ben for answers
"We live together." Misty said causing Rua to fall down. An act that caused Misty and Yusei to laugh while also causing Ben to facepalm
"THE TOURNAMENT IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. CAN ALL THE PARTICIPANTS PLEASE COME TO THE RING." The voice of the MC could be heard over the mic
"It looks like I've taken most of your time. You should all start heading out." Misty said causing them to rush out except Ben
"So, guess I'll see you later then." Ben said
"Good luck. And be careful out there, I heard the Black Rose is participating. I don't want you getting hurt." Misty said
"You don't have to worry, I survived your car, so I'm quite certain I can survive a Psychic Duelist." Ben tried to joke but this caused Misty to frown
"Time and place Ben, this is neither." Resonator scolded him
"Sorry about that, just wanted to lighten the mood." Ben apologized
"I know, just be careful." Misty said before hugging him. Ben hesitated a little before returning the hug which lasted a few seconds before they broke it.
"I'll be careful." Ben reassured causing her smile to return
"Once again good luck." She said as Ben waved her goodbye
"Yo Boss, the blood vessels in your-"
"Not now Fader!" Ben mentally screamed as the Arena became visible
Fortune Cup Arena
Standing between Rua(dressed as Ruka) and Yusei Ben looks at the crowd for a while before turning to Rua.
"Xup Rua." Ben said causing the Boy to tense up
"I'm…not Rua,... I'm-"
"It's fine, I won't tell anyone." Ben said as Rua calmed down
"Thanks." Rua said
"Duelists young and old, professional and amateur alike, it's the moment you've been waiting for! The Fortune Cup Tournament!" The MC announced
The moment he finished that sentence, Jack Atlas bursted through the presenter tunnel in the duel stadium with Red Dragon Archfiend above him, as thousands of fans let out roars of cheers.
Jack let go of the duel runner on his right side, and pumped his fist in the air. "What say we kick this Tournament into overdrive!" He yelled, earning more cheering from the crowd.
"Cringe." Fader said flatly
"Seconded." Resonator said
"Indeed." Grapha also added shocking Ben
"Since when did you guys learn the meaning of Cringe?" Ben asked
"Boss, we basically live INSIDE YOU." Fader stressed
"Why do I have this unnerving feeling that there's a sex joke behind that statement?" Ben asked while dreading the answer
"I regret nothing." Fader casually said
"Oh you Motherfuc-"
"Now let's introduce the Duelists that will be going Head to Head to face Mr Atlas. First we have the Warrior Bommer, Shira, Gill Randsborg, Commander Koda, Ruka, Akiza Izayoi, Sector Security's very own Ben Strega and Satellite's Yusei Fudo!" The MC announced
"Wait that guy has a mark." Someone from the crowd said after seeing Yusei's mark and just like that the crowd started to murmur.
As the murmuring continued, Bommer stepped forward taking the mic from the MC.
"People of New Domino City, as a duelist up there, what does everyone see?" Bommer points to Yusei saying
"He is undoubtedly a duelist, selected under the same conditions as all of us. Having cards, marker or not, we are all the same, no one here should be ashamed of anything. He hasn't given me a reason to think low of him and neither should you." Bommer finished as the crowd remained silent
That was until Goodwin started clapping causing the rest crowd to do the same.
"Thank you for that speech Bommer. New Domino City, I once had a vision to remove the barrier of social status, to allow Duelist from everywhere to prove their self on an even playing field. This tournament is one of such avenue." Rex said
"You heard it folks. Now let spin the bracket and see who gets to Duel who in the first round!" The MC announced as the screen began spinning.

"Sweet, I'm dueling Bommer in the first Round." Rua said looking at the large Man
Duel Arena, Few Moments Later
Both Bommer and Rua are about facing off as they stand across each other.
"Now can the starting Duelists please shake hands!" The MC said causing both Duelist to shake
"Hey Mr Bommer, I want to thank you for defending my friend and let you know that's it a honor to Duel you." Rua said
"Likewise kid, though I must say you have quite a strong grip for a Lady." Bommer said causing Rua to jump back
"Well I've been called a Tomboy in school. Did I forget to mention I do cheerleading." Rua said while posing
With Ruka
"I do not act like that." Ruka complain trying to hold back her anger
Duel Arena
"LET'S DUEL." Both Duelist said

"I'll draw. First I'll activate Star Burst, by paying 500 life points I can reduce the level of one monster in my hand allowing me to summon it without tribute and I choose, Summon Reactor S.K." Bommer said

"Yikes, it has 2000 attack points." Rua gasped
"I believe you need to sacrifice something in other to get something big. I'll now place one face down and end my turn." Bommer said

"I draw. You're not the only one with a good start, I summon Morphtronic Celpon in attack mode." Rua said
Morphtronic Celpon (100Atk/100Def/Lvl1/Earth/Machine)
"Before you continue, since you summoned a monster, my Summon Reactor can deal 800 direct damage to your life points." Bommer said as his monster blasted Rua

"I'll activate Celpon effect, by selecting a number, I'm allowed to flip those cards and if a level four or lower Morphtronic is among them I can special summon it to the field. Let's see it say 2, now flipping over my cards I can now summon Morphtronic Boomboxen in defense mode." Rua said
Morphtronic Boomboxen (1200Atk/400Def/Lvl4/Earth/Machine)
"I'll now place one face down and end my turn." Rua said

"I draw. I'll now summon Trap Reactor Y.FI in attack mode." Bommer said
Trap Reactor (800Atk/1800Def/Lvl4/Dark/Machine)
"Now Trap Reactor attack his Celpon." Bommer commanded his monster who rushed in to attack."
"I activate my trap card, Morph Transition, which let's me switch my monster to defense mode and negate your attack." Rua said
"Wrong move. It's call Trap Reactor for a reason and since you activate a trap it can deal 800 damage to your life points." Bommer said causing Trap Reactor to blast Rua
"Ahhh!"

"Summon Reactor attack his Boomboxen." Bommer monster attacked but nothing happen
"If Boomboxen is in defense mode it can tune out one attack." Rua said
"If that's the case I activate Damage Summon. By paying 800 life points, when I perform an unsuccessful attack on your monster I can special summon one monster from my hand. I'll be choosing Spell Reactor RE." Bommer said

"Now Spell Reactor destroy his Boomboxen." Bommer said as his monster destroyed Rua Boomboxen
"I'll now set one facedown and end my turn." Bommer said
Turn:4
"I'll draw. I hope I can make a come back. I'll activate Celpon effect, now let's see what number he chooses." Rua said as it landed on three
"It's a three. Alright I'll switch it to attack mode to activate it's effect and now I got one which will let me summon Morphtronic Datatron."
Morphtronic Datatron (1200Atk/600Def/Lvl3/Fire/Pyro)
"Now I'll release Celpon to deal 600 points damage." Rua said

"Remember you're also taking damage from Summon Reactor." Bommer said causing Rua to lose life points

"I now advance summon Gadget Hauler with Datatron." Rua said

"By sending to the graveyard one Morphtronic monster Gadget Hauler gains 800 attack plus I'll activate the Factory of 100 machines, so by removing from play my Morphtronic monsters I gain a total of 2900 attack."

"You'll still take damage from Spell Reactor." Bommer said

"Attack Trap Reactor." Rua said causing his monster to attack kicking up dust on the field
"Did it work?" Rua asked as Bommer was unfazed

"I activated Delta Reactor, negating your attack while sending all my Reactor monsters to the graveyard to special summon Giant Bomber Air Raid."

"I'll now attack your life points directly." Bommer said
"Ahhh!" Rua screamed as his life points were reduced
