"Harry, Sara get yoyr furry butts back here, you need a bath. You don't wanna be stinky for your first day of school as your sibs had theirs." Shocket called out. It was after Spring Break and the family had a lot of fun but it was now the night before the Parkercoon kits were to start school and Itsy and Shocket were helping them get ready.
"Come on guys, the sooner you take your bath, the sooner mommy can read to us." Floor said seeing May and Teefs agreeing but saw Harry and Sara being grabbed by Rocket but he was ignoring their protests relieving Itsy and Shocket because Harry and Sara were being hostile towards bathtime.
"Thanks daddy, as they're being really hyper lately. They're probably gonna drive their new teacher nuts compared to Floor, May and Teefs." Shocket told Rocket making Rocket smirk.
"You're welcome kiddo, and yeah, Harry and Sara will drive their teacher nuts." he told her making her and Itsy grin giving Harry and Sara their bath then drying them off putting them in pyjamas relieving their sibs going to have their bedtime snack with Teefs and Shocket going downstairs using the hover function on their wheelchairs impressing Rocket. "We've been helping Shocket with her chair, Mocket too and I modified the Spidey-Jeep so Shocket's chair can fit." Itsy told him.
"That's great and she seems more happier about it than in the hospital." Rocket told her.
Itsy nodded but was concerned about the kits's first day of school and how they'd do arouhd other kits but trying not to cause them anxiety just in case the kits were anxious already which they were thinking about.
"I think we'll be okay mommies, we'll be together so we can help each other out." May told them making Itsy, Shocket and Rocket chuckle at her being cute making her frown.
Shocket was then hovering upstairs before the kits came upstairs getting things ready in the kits's rooms fluffing up pillows making beds of sorts so they'd be comfy when it was time for the kits to go to bed. "Mommy you don't have to do that. We can help you." May said coming into her room astounding Shocket.
"Mayday honey I can still do things but need a lil help sometimes, like Teefs." she told her.
"Sorry mommy I guess you've got a point." May told her seeing her sibs heading to her room as it was big like Teefs and Floor's room making them wonder why their mom was a lil sad. "It's nothing guys. Let's just enjoy storytime." Shocket said perking up again seeing them happy.
After storytime, and putting the kits to bed, Shocket was hanging out with Itsy but she noticed she was quiet asking her, if she was okay hearing her mentioning what May had reacted to her tidying up a little feeling Itsy hug her knowing that their kits were just concerned about her which she got as she knew they understood she could do things like Teefs just needing help sometimes.
"Thanks Itsy, we should get rest as our kits are gonna need us." Shocket told her going upstairs using the hover function on her chair going upstairs as Itsy web slinged upstairs impressing Rocket seeing Rocket Senior entering asking if everybody was asleep seeing him nodding making them coffee. "Yep, Itsy and Shocket just went to bed." Rocket told him.
"Ohhhhh, that's okay and bet the kits are nervous about their first day of school, right." Rocket Senior said seeing him nod.
It was the next morning and Itsy and Shocket were up before the kits getting reasy plus making lunches for the kits with Rocket helping noticing the kits up sitting at the table. "Be-Boop mommies." Teefs said alomg with Harry, May, Floor and Sara making Itsy, Rocket, Rocket Senior and Shocket smile at this. "Excited about your first day of school, or nervous." Rocket asked them as they were eating up.
"We think we can handle it, we'll fit in better than at old school." Harry told the adults making Shocket smirk at his comment along with Itsy knowing Harry and Sara would be in kindergarten while May would be in third-grade and Teefs and Floor would be in first-grade only Shocket was more concerned about Teefs remembering how homework frustrated him to the point of snapping pencils in half, then Itsy having to use webs to fix them. "I feel bad for his pencils." Itsy whispered to Shocket making her nodding.
"Alright guys let's go get ready and hop into the jeep, hehehe." Itsy said giggling as the kits had their bags which had their lunchbags in them following their moms out the door seeing the embiggened Spidey-Jeep in the driveway gtting in along with Shocket buckling herself in smiling as they left the house which Rocket noticed yawning. "Let's hope they have a good day and not visit the office." he told Rocket Senior.
"I'm sure they'll be okay as Linda, Itsy and Shocket have them ready for school, buddy. I miss Herbie though." Rocket Senior told him which Rocket understood. Herbert had returned to Wondergore instead of staying in New Raccoon City with them which made Rocket Senior understand but sad hiding it from the others.
"Pops you okay, thinking about Herbie. You should've went with him instead of being here." Rocket told him after snuggling him wondering something. He then climbed into his big, fluffy fur chuckling softly as it made a great hiding place makijg Rocket Senior worried thinking his son had disappeared into thin air searching frantically just as Linda entered in pyjamas along with Itsy and Shocket wondering what was going on but Shocket laughed hysterically as Rocket tumbled out of his dad's fur. "Found him and how did you not notice your own kit was in there. Your fur's so big and fluffy he snuck in there." Shocket told Rocket Senior.
"I had no idea he snuck in there just like when he was a baby." he said making Rocket blush.
"He was thinking about Herbie again, that's why." Rocket whispered to them.
