Basically the same foundation as the normal story, only its focus is on a romantic relationship between Mrs Lovett and Sweeney. Johanna and Anthony play a minor part than it the original story, and the story only follows the real story VERY loosely.

When his world crumbles down, Sweeney Todd is given a second chance. Will he be able to escape his destiny?

How did Anthony Hope come to find Sweeney Todd? This story shows how Anthony grew up to be a sailor on a tea clipper ship. He has many adventures with his fellow sailors before he finds the demon barber. He is content with his life until he meets a blonde haired girl that leads him to his most dangerous adventure yet.
