Disclaimer: I don't own Marvel or DC, the Agents of Loss were the idea of G.S Pheonix , he also came up with the idea concerning the Spider-senses.
I know I promised an Incursion in the Arrow verse, but it won't be happening this chapter, it'll go to next chapter.
The following scene is the first appearance of the mainstream version of the character :)
The Redeemer
Chapter 25: War
Spectacular verse
Midtown high was at the first the sight of the usual happenings within a high school. One specific class however had a little extra tension in it. Peter Parker was in love with Gwen Stacy, his best friend Harry Osborn knew this. Gwen was dating Harry, but was in love with Peter. Why aren't Peter and Gwen dating, well recently Peter, as the Spectacular, Spectacular Spider-man, fought a battle with Harry's prick father the Green Goblin. Norman apparently died, Harry swore revenge, and went and became a prick and said that Gwen was the only thing keeping him off drugs, well I say drugs but since this was a cartoon it was referred to as green but it's clearly a subtle nod to Harry's heroin days in the comics.
Get out of here Deadpool! Even Harry Osborn's slowly growing hatred for his friend faded as soon as he saw Peter fall into a seizure. Flash Thompson, usually Peter's chief bully pulled out his phone and contacted an ambulance, whilst Gwen and the teacher rushed to Peter's side. The helplessness each child in that class room felt was a precursor for the helplessness the world would feel in the days to come.
Another universe
Ooooh, I've been waiting to do this one, the Spider-man who cries like a bitch is screaming like a bitch whilst Kirstin Dunst tries to comfort him.
Shut the fuck up Deadpool!
Wait wait, we need to flash to another dimension.
A thirty something year old man, whose voice occasionally slips into a British accent is having a seizure and his aunt Sally Field is running to him.
SHUT THE FUCK UP DEADPOOL!
Not finished, Ultimate Spider-man finaaally isn't telling a joke that completely ruins a serious moment.
Shut the...okay I'll agree with you on that one
In the Cinematic Universe, the new kid on the block is having a seizure of some kind and his AILF is calling the hospital.
What was that?
AILF, Aunt I'd like to...
Personally a younger actress kind of makes more sense, didn't really make sense in the comics for fifteen year old Peter's Aunt to look more like his grand aunt.
Yeah, but let's pray they don't go the reboot route with the comics, I like comic book Aunt May and DC already took away fat Waller, some thing's should be sacred.
Like our mouth, cause we all know what Fox did to that. And the Fantastic Four reboot, yeah let's get together another group of highly talented actors and make a joyless movie that makes us want to see the previous damned version even more.
Reboot, just seems like a studios excuse to say sorry to fans and correct old mistakes. Like Reckless's rewrite of Ultimate Aeon and his Gundam Seed Purpose Renew story.
SHUT THE FUCK UP DEADPOOLS!
That will probably be the most light hearted moment in this chapter, and in the chapters to come. Hope you all enjoyed the light while it lasted.
Year 2099
Miguel O'Hara was in the greatest pain of his life. He knelt on the rooftop of an Alchemax building, the loud bustle of Nueva York's swarming traffic system echoed into the sky. But it wasn't the engines of the hover cars that pierced through Miguel's ears and into his skull. He wondered if it was at all similar to his predecessor's spider-sense. The Spider-man of the year 2099 didn't have a spider sense, yet still he was connected to the great web.
"Shock, what just happened?" he asked a question with an answer he dreaded.
That connection to the great web was so strong, that Miguel didn't even need to be in Loomworld to know what had happened. He looked at his hands, waiting for something to happen that didn't.
"Stop right there," he heard a voice command above him.
Miguel looked up, widening his eyes beneath his mask. Floating on a public eye flight platform were five individuals, one who looked exactly like the historical records of the long dead Hercules. Beside him however stood four more individuals, each of whom looked like versions of famous heroes. Clad in a purple short sleeved suit and bearing the wings and claws of a bird was Hawkeye. A blonde haired woman with a disturbing amount of muscle wore an altered version of the Captain America uniform. Their Black Widow wore a pair of black goggles with red spider eyes across it and their Iron man looked more like a robot, his hands had three fingers and instead of eye slits on his helmet he had a round camera built into it.
"Ho Spider-man, the time has come for you to join the year 2099's mightiest heroes, the Avengers," Hercules raised his fist in celebration.
"What...the...shock?"
Earth 982
Mary Jane Watson-Parker had a flash back to the day her husband died. This was caused by the cries of her child in the middle of the night. Benjie Parker wailed so loud that it woke the neighbours. MJ didn't care, her priority was her youngest. She scooped the baby out of his crib and rubbed his back soothingly.
"Shhh, it's okay, nothing bad is going to happen Benjie, I promise, Mayday's going to be back soon you'll be okay, BEN!" MJ yelled.
She walked with Benjie through the house, looking for her husband's uncle, or at least a version of him. On another Earth, Ben Parker had been the one that had been bitten by the spider and not Peter. He became Spider-man, but gave it all up when his wife and nephew were killed. As a result his world became a nuclear wasteland and Ben only took the costume up again to fight the inheritors. Since then he had been staying with the Parkers to be Benjie and Mayday's grandfather. MJ gasped when she walked into Ben's room, the man was sitting in the corner, shivering in a cold sweat.
Earth 610
Gwen was woken up in the middle of the night by the unexpected screams of her boyfriend. Terry Komori had become Spider-man after the seeming death of Peter Parker. The Asian-American teen's body shook in his bed, causing him to fall off of its edge. He grit his teeth together as he gripped his head. Gwen kissed his shoulder, trying to snap him out of his pained state.
"Thank god," she breathed a sigh of relief as Terry stopped shaking.
Terry sat up against the wall, rubbing the sweat off of his face as Gwen reached for the phone. He took it, shaking his head, but still smiling gratefully at her.
"You had me worried, after that mess with the invasion and the inheritors..." Gwen closed her eyes as Terry silenced her with a soft and long drawn out kiss.
"I need to call Jess," he said.
"Romantic moment...destroyed," Gwen sighed.
Terry slapped his head for his moment of stupidity. Gwen was cool, she wasn't the jealous type but there were situations you didn't talk about your ex girlfriend. Jessica Drew had been one of the first girls Terry dated since taking up the mask, and he still thought of her with love. He gave Gwen another long kiss on the lips to make up for his mistake before standing up. Dialling in another number, Terry waited a few minutes before the call was received.
"Terry," Peter Parker, the very much alive former Spider-man and the current Scarlet Spider spoke on the other side.
He sat in his girlfriend Mary Jane's car, stroking her hair as she slept in the back.
"We nearly crashed twice," he said.
"Are you both okay?" Terry asked.
"Just in shock really, the bigger shock came when I had..."
"A seizure right, at least that's the closest word I can use to describe it," Terry said.
"Yeah, well head ache/fit, it was intense though like my spider sense was going into overdrive," Peter explained.
"Mine too."
"Except Terry, when we nearly got hit by another car a few minutes ago, my spider sense didn't go off, as if there was no danger, the way my head was before the spider bit me, give the phone to Gwen and turn your back to her," Peter requested.
"I don't like where this is going," Terry muttered.
"Hi Peter how are...well that's a funny request, why should I...okay, okay I'll do it," Gwen said.
Gwen suddenly threw a book at Terry's head, hitting him. Terry looked at the book with his eyes widened. He turned towards Gwen and took the phone from her.
"Our spider senses are gone," he said.
"Exactly, if you and I have lost it we need to make sure Jess and Miles haven't, Miles called me and said he was going on a mission. We need to go to Madame Web when we can and find out what's happened to our spider sense," Peter explained.
"I'll get my costume right away, what about Miles?" Terry asked.
"I hope whoever Coulson put in charge of the Young Avengers has the sense to suspend Miles," Peter muttered.
The said Young Avengers stood on in their Quinn-Craft, which was half the size of the Avengers Quinn jet. The hatch opened as Larry 'Judge' Jackson put the aircraft onto auto pilot. He maintained a link with the plane via his Hornet suit. It was a black suit with purple armour on the shoulders, arms and legs. His face was covered by a faceless black mask with orange bug eyes. An orange hornet symbol glowed on his chest and a pair of hornet wings slid out of his backpack.
"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked his friend.
Miles typically went by the name Tarantula when on missions, but he was also referred to as the other Spider-man. He put on his mask and walked to the edge of the ship.
"Usually after an episode like that Tarantula I'd pull you off the team, but we need as much muscle and early warning as we can get for this mission," the field leader of the team spoke.
He was Ronin and they were the Young Avengers. Consisting of young heroes, many of who made a name for themselves after the Ultimates and Avengers war, this group had been bought together for missions that required covert action, an immediate response and rescue work. Today they were covering all three, the public couldn't know about A.R.M.O.R. or the arrival of alternate super villains. Equally as concerned for Miles was his best friend Danke, AKA Prodigy, like Judge he discovered his suit during Thanos's invasion a year ago. The Prodigy outfit was a gold bodysuit with red on the chest and silver wingtips over his ears. It made the average built Danke look like a power house.
"We don't have time to coddle him," the second in command, Nomi Blume AKA Polaris said.
"Whatever Magneto junior," Hisako Ichiki, AKA Armour said.
The blue haired girl glared at the Japanese girl. Nomi wore a blue trench coat over a yellow top and black trousers. Beside her stood another fellow mutant Alison Crestmere, a blonde haired girl with red dyed streaks. As Scoldfire she wore a red and yellow top with a black x across the chest and red trousers, all flame resistant. The team also included the new Nova of Earth 610 Missy Kallenback, the girl tied her brown hair into a tail and traded a worried glance with her boyfriend Ganke. His best friend had moments earlier fought off a seizure and he still suffered from some of his psychological scars from the his adventure in 'Spider-verse'. Missy's Nova uniform included black leggings, a gold chest plate with three silver circles on it and numerous other gold pads over her blue suit.
"Are you sure you don't want to take over?" she asked her own candidate for leadership.
"I'm fine thanks," Enid said.
Enid Richards was the sister of the late Reed Richards, AKA Mr Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, AKA the Maker of the city of tomorrow. She survived her brother's atrocious murder of their own family and retained the cosmic powers she gained as an experiment of Doom, fate also seemed she would gain a similar body manipulation ability that her brother had. Despite her issues with her brother and being recently returned from death she wore a blue and black suit similar to the Fantastic Four uniform and went by the name Fantastigirl.
"I'm just as worried about him as all of you," Ronin said. "But unfortunately our priority right now needs to be on saving everyone down there," he slammed his fist into the hatch's switch, opening it wide.
Ronin was the first to jump as a leader should, his outfit doubled as a wing suit, allowing him to glide through the clouds. Nova, Fantastigirl and Hornet flew down under their own power whilst Miles, Prodigy, Armour and Scoldfire stood on discs controlled by Polaris. Ronin swerved to the right as a force blast flew towards him. He cursed slightly, knowing that the blast would hit his team mates. Armour quickly activated her armoured form as the blast hit her.
"Where was the early warning on that Tarantula?" Polaris asked Miles, casting a glare down on him.
Miles looked at where Armour had landed and where the blast had come from. A second blast flew towards the team, coming straight towards him.
"TARANTULA!" Hornet immediately flew in the way, taking the blast for his friend.
'Oh god,' Miles realised what Terry and Peter had before him.
"Well, well little heroes, welcome to the party," Reaper grinned as the Young Avengers rushed into the battle of A.R.M.O.R.
Earth 616
Peter Parker felt severe agony, as if there was an imminent danger. But he was in his apartment with MJ and Mayday, they were supposed to be safe, but his spider sense indicated otherwise. To Mary Jane, it was as if her husband was having a seizure, shaking on the floor and in a cold sweat. Her concern immediately went to their daughter as the girl screamed. Mayday was rolling across the floor, clutching her head and screaming, the saliva dripping from her mouth burnt the carpet and webbing oozed out of the shooters in her wrists. The Parkers had seen their beloved daughter's powers manifest many a time, she was clearly more of a spider than her father. That fact became especially true as brown fur grew across her skin, her eyes turned black as six extra eyes grew around them. Four spider legs burst out of her back and the tips of her fingers shaped into claws.
"Mayday," Peter whispered, overcome with shock at his daughter's sudden transformation.
She jumped out of the window, webs spouting from her wrists as she swung through the streets.
"MAY!" MJ screamed.
Peter immediately threw his shirt off, revealing the top of his Spider-man costume. He put on his mask and jumped out of the window, swinging after his daughter.
Loomworld
Karn and the web warriors were in shock, they expected the world to fall apart. Life and planets were fragile, but reality itself was another matter entirely. Onyx stood as the only man who had all of the answers, more so than even Karn's family. Time travel, dimension hopping and the manipulation of these two things was chaotic, not as apocalyptic as others often believed. The dark knight stood amongst the web warriors, infinitely more powerful than them, even without his new ability to traverse reality, and even if they did have their sixth senses. They instinctively knew that the early warning sense they each possessed was gone.
"Every reality, cut off from the web, that's what would end, the power of the Spider-men," Karn said.
"Of course, a foolish network established by those whom originally came from this reality, they created a link between worlds, a web that would allow them to travel to those dimensions, utilising the signal emitted by the extra senses of those worlds Spider-men," Onyx explained.
"Or women," Gwen corrected.
Onyx ignored the girl, walking between her and Jason Doyle. He lifted Karn off of the ground, wrapping his fingers around his neck. The masked and last inheritor gagged under the man's strength, his legs dangling. But Onyx eased his grip, giving his imminent victim room the breath and talk, and concentrate on his damning revelations.
"This of course proved to be both their salvation and ruination, I showed the Inheritors a way to get to loom world and to use the web, to track and traverse their potential hunting grounds."
"You're the one responsible for the massacre of totems, across the Multiverse," Billy said, glaring accusingly at the armoured man.
"Yes, but each time the Inheritors went to another world, they altered its intended destiny," Onyx said.
"What are you talking about?" May asked.
"As soon as they were able to kill a totem, they created a world where they had killed that Totem, and a world where they hadn't!"
"So they were time travelling and not reality hopping?" Rio asked.
"They are both the same, they always have been, picture this..."
Onyx raised his hand, creating multiple images, life like in their appearance. From the people they saw, the Web Warriors could see that they were witnessing the history of worlds protected only by the X-men.
"Wait a minute, how does Wolverine get the metal in his claws back?" Spider-ham asked.
"And why does Xavier look like himself, when he's in a completely different person's body?"
"Good question Anya," Ezekiel muttered.
"Look at this though, these X-men from the future travel back in time not once, not twice, but several times in order to save themselves, with the final time creating a whole new reality filled with new possibilities," Onyx explained.
"Wait a minute, Kitty Pryde sends people back in time, that makes no sense whatsoever, she can walk through walls...it's like someone wrote a script that could portray her as useful," Jason explained.
"It's not like she disrupts electronics when she passes through them, and it's not like their enemies are all robots..oh wait," Gwen rolled her eyes, clearly not impressed.
"I feel like we're going through an honest trailer, what is the point of this Onyx?" Rio demanded.
"The point is that they weren't altering their futures at all," Onyx said.
The web warriors gasped as Onyx showed them multiple images of the Sentinels obliterating the X-men.
"Travelling back in time, altering events, they only resulted in the creation of more alternate realities, the original timelines went on, and those X-men died...horribly, knowing that they had done nothing to save them."
"You sound as if you enjoy that, sick freak," Spider-Noir snarled.
"We are all bound by nature, for example your world, its very nature is to be stuck in a single moment of time, the worst era of the world with the worst Spider-man, a racist, a man of little honour," Onyx's gaze at Noir wasn't judgemental, his words though struck at Peter.
"You're wrong," Paviitar retorted.
"Yeah, sure he can use very racist nicknames with us, but he's not filled with malice," Jason said.
"Yeah, it's just because of the era he's from, everyone was ignorant back then," Rio said.
"The point is," Onyx squeezed his hand into a fist, destroying all the holographic images.
His helmet slid off of his face, revealing the face of Sven Reilly. It was a foreign face to Gwen and Jason, they both knew a different Aeon. Ezekiel himself knew the face, but not the costume, not yet at least. Even Rio Morales knew the man who could have become Aeon, but hadn't in her world.
"Before true alteration of destiny was impossible, but now, now I have attained the ability to alter every reality, to traverse the billions of worlds and truly alter their timelines, without the creation of another world. I have surpassed the deities, the puppet masters of space known as the Celestials and Makers, I have surpassed the Living Monolith and even the Beyonders, and soon, soon I will surpass the Universe itself and the one above all!"
"We get it, you intend to make yourself a god, to bring only death and sorrow, I am aware of your nature Onyx," Karn said.
"Correction, more death and sorrow, these beings whom take the name creators...they did not create life, they created more life in order to add to an endless cycle of chaos and suffering. I didn't need to manipulate anyone in order to feed off of sorrow, because the gods already had," Onyx explained.
"So why do it, why go through all this then?" Gwen asked.
"Because changing fate, can be fun," before the web warriors had been in shock, now they were disturbed.
They saw Onyx do something they didn't think was possible for him, something that went against his very nature. As an embodiment of evil he was in capable of rage, yet when his plans had been altered he destroyed an entire world to show off his rage. An embodiment of evil could not yearn for the past, yet time and time again he slipped into nostalgia, revisiting old worlds and showing off old timelines. Embodiments of evil were not petty, yet again and again Onyx went out of his way to prove he was in charge, that his plans were superior to one great evil and another.
Before Onyx could not feel pleasure or joy, yet today the Web warriors saw him smile. A genuine smile as if he had laughed at a joke, or experienced a moment of pure joy. Bending reality to his will, truly changing the destinies of worlds, was something he enjoyed.
Planet of the Bravest
There would not be a world where Jason Todd had not encountered the Red Hood. The Red Hood and his actions were a part of the world now. So the dynamic duo were truly fighting the Red Hood, if one died they would die, there would not be another version where the attack on Checkmate hadn't happened. The Blood pack were truly dead, and it made Robin furious. He aimed a kick at Red Hood's head, but as if predicting his every move, the Red Hood deflected the blow and kicked Jason in the chest. He traded blows with Batman, countering his strikes with the very same fighting style he used. Batman however was quick to adapt, knowing that Red Hood was predicting him. He got in a lot more hits than Robin.
"I've been picturing how this would go down," Red Hood said as he blocked Batman's punch.
"I mean I know whose by far the better fighter, and who would win in a straight up fight, I know I'm no match for you...Bruce," Red Hood kicked Batman, sliding him back.
If the Dark Knight was shocked he didn't show it, exactly as the Red Hood knew he wouldn't. As stoic and posed as his own Batman, this one was every bit the tactician. He ignited a flare and set his jacket alight. Red Hood immediately threw the container of his gadgets aside and drew his pistols. Batman barely dodged the flurry of bullets, they would have been disabling shots though. Robin slid a pair of clubs out of his belt and ran at Red Hood.
"Charging in head first, no mercy, just as I thought you would," Red Hood said.
He holstered his guns and dodged Robin's swipes. Robin jumped upwards, delivering a lucky kick to Red Hood's helmet. He then swung his clubs around, hitting the helmet again and again. Upon landing, Robin threw the clubs and a flurry of batarangs. Red Hood however caught the clubs and deflected each projectile.
"You keep this up you'll get yourself killed Jason!"
"How do you know that name?" Robin demanded.
"You see, reacting to it like that, weren't you taught to act and never react? Which Black Canary taught you, they both had the same fighting styles right, same teachings, acting never reacting, what a damn joke," Red Hood said as he rushed forward.
"If you don't think before you act you'll only get yourself or your team mates killed," he elbowed Robin in the face, then kneed him in the stomach. "No plan survives, you have to react to what's going on in front of you," he struck Robin's arm with the right club and hit his shin with the left. "You have to always be acting, and reacting, thinking a plan through and adapting to everything that happens," twisting Robin's arms in a hold, the Red Hood proceeded to slam his knees into the boy's back, chest, head and then delivered a brutal blow to his head.
"You need to realise this, learn this, before you get yourself killed," Red Hood said before shoving Robin to the floor.
Marvel Universe
It was the end of the Earth, as the heroes of it knew it. Cities across the world had been devastated, smaller communities were being overrun by Deathlok zombies and the flame pits were spreading across the globe. In space, both the S.W.O.R.D. station and the numerous watcher posts from the galactic community saw where the pits formed, Rio De Janeiro, Moscow, San Francisco, Beijin all became sites for the hell pits formed by the Apokolips forces. Within a few hours, the counterattacks by the super heroes had been deemed irrelevant and useless. S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarriers moved across the length of the pacific ocean, never before had a fleet of airships been deployed. Flying in perfect formation, jets dashed past the bulking carriers, and they weren't alone. Formations of gold and red clad Rocketmen flew across the sky, ordinary soldiers wearing armour created by Tony Stark. On the bridge of the lead Helicarrier, newly appointed head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jimmy Woo shared the fear of his men.
"I want communication established with the Avengers, the X-men, Defenders and the Thunderbolts, we need heroes in this fight," Woo commanded across the ship.
"They may be busy fighting their own battles Woo," one of the agents said.
"Send messages to whoever will respond, I want anyone available," Woo said.
"I am hooked into the network Woo, we don't have anyone who can respond," an agent said.
"Then invoke S.H.I.E.L.D. priority access beta, draft the initiative!"
Woo's command chair suddenly rose up, higher than the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. He formed a series of holographic screens, all of them showing a multitude of heroes, costumed adventurers, people Iron man had scouted for the Avengers Initiative. After the Thanos invasion, Stark's plan had been to expand the Avengers program, to form a team for every state in America. If the plan succeeded, then he would again expand to the Avengers world program. The multiversal invasion had forced Woo to step up Stark's time table.
"Avengers assemble," he said.
The call had been sent out, and they answered. From Camp Hammond, sergeant Joseph Green, AKA the Gauntlet oversaw the release of the Initiative members.
"ALL RIGHT MAGGOTS! I know you haven't been so much as a week into training, but we're dealing with the end of the world as we know it, we don't always get to be picky," the career soldier explained.
Around him were other super powered soldiers, some in costumes, others in military gear with shirts that had logos on them. Overall, the Avengers Initiative program had its mix of veterans like Captain Ultra, Stingray and Justice, and its rookies such as Cloud 9, Hardball and Komodo. Those members who could fly, began to put on jetpacks, and the people who couldn't fire energy blasts of any kind equipped rifles. Gauntlet saw the nervous expression on Cloud 9's face as she grabbed a rifle from the rack. The world was probably days from falling apart, but Joseph knew one way he would rather die, protecting his family the best way he could. He didn't need to tell his trainees about the harsh realty they were going into, they all knew they were heading for war.
"Initiative, move out!" he commanded, igniting the rockets on his jet pack.
"Avengers assemble!"
The great battle cry of the world's mightiest heroes, it was what had saved many people. The hope alone uplifted people in their darkest moments. Knowing that someone was protecting them was enough. Before, people had feared that one day the Avengers would make a terrible mistake. But on a day unlike any other, on a day when no appointed government, no paid for military, no singular exalted icon could save them, the people of Earth turned to one group. The Avengers were born many years before what would come to be known, as the great invasion, but on that day they didn't call them Avengers, or X-men, or Defenders, or any name that had been granted to them before. On the day of the great invasion, they became known as heroes.
"FOR MIDGARD!" Thor yelled, throwing his hammer into the heart of an OMAC group.
Beside him were his brothers, together they formed the great trinity of their universe. Tony Stark, bound in an armour fit for fighting the Hulk, stampeded through Ultron Sentinels and Parademons. Justifiers fired their blasters at the armoured man, before he unleashed blasts that decimated their ranks. Two powerful beings, both of whom could destroy cities, were led by the weakest but greatest of them all. Throwing his shield, Captain America led the charge. His signature disc shaped shield rebounded off of objects, both enemy and landmark alike. Activating the energy shield on his right gauntlet, Steve cut through three Ultron Sentinels. He looked towards the White House, where his dark doppelganger waited. The other Revengers soon joined their captain, smirking at the stand of the trinity. They all struck, attacking each member. Iron man crashed into Giant-man, and blasted his own doppelganger aside. Thor took the brunt of Ms Marvel's punch and deflected his doppelgangers attack. He turned, slamming his hammer into the dark cap's shield. Scarlet Witch fired a blast into Cap's shield, knocking him back.
"I told you all, I told you, you would fail," the Revenger's Cap hit Thor with bullets, knocking his helmet off.
Cap threw his shield, hitting Scarlet Witch out of the sky. He caught the shield and then threw it towards his counterpart. The twisted captain raised his shield, only for Steve's to slice cleanly through his, and imbed itself in his head.
"HA, one down, and..." Thor and Cap widened their eyes as the doppelganger yanked the shield out of his head.
"Not quite I'm afraid," the Revenger Cap grinned as he aimed his pistol at Cap.
Iron man suddenly fired a full force repulsor, cutting apart the Revenger Cap. He landed on Scarlet Witch, crushing her head into the dirt.
"Healing factors?" Cap asked, blocking a blast from both the Ms Marvel and Iron man counterparts.
"Maybe," Tony hummed.
He released a barrage of missiles, hitting Giant man and bursting one of his eyes.
"Not a healing factor, GAAGH!"
The billionaire fell to his knees as part of his armour fell apart. The Scarlet Witch was still very much alive, her hands glowing as she overloaded the armour's systems. Thor threw his hammer, completely taking off the Witch's head. He then caught the hammer as it returned and fired a blast through Giant man's chest. Cap threw his shield, hitting the Iron man counterpart, then protected Tony with his energy shield. The Ms Marvel counterpart grabbed his wrist and crushed his gauntlet. Tony activated rockets on his gauntlets, sending the gloves flying into Ms Marvel.
"Rocket punch bitch," Tony grinned.
"Insignificant pests," the Revenger's Thor said, raising his hammer to both men.
"NO!"
Thor's hammer flew into his doppelganger, and back into his hand. He leapt to the aid of his team mates, his brothers. Bashing both Iron man and Ms Marvel aside, Thor released bolts of lightning, intercepting the lightning that his doppelganger controlled.
"HEIMDALL! ACTIVATE THE BIFROST!" he yelled.
The Revengers looked up in shock as a pillar of light came down on the three Avengers. Suddenly, Thor jumped out of the pillar, smashing his doppelganger across the face. He kicked Ms Marvel, and bashed Iron man's helmet. The pillar of light faded, leaving only the runes usually left by the Bifrost.
"I will not hide, nor will I run, I will stand and protect my home, the home of my brothers and sisters, the home of the friends I have made here, with my dying breath," the god of thunder declared as he faced down the Revengers.
Earth 16
"A Hulk, a Starman, two symbiotes, a vampire Batman and a regular powered Catwoman," Noah mused as he walked to his armoury.
He walked past the Scarlet Spider uniform, instead focusing on the weapons. The sonic blaster was the obvious choice, as was the hulk buster laser. Lifting the bulky weapon over his shoulder, Winter Soldier secured the sonic blaster to his belt and looked over his grenade stock. Incendiaries were the closest thing to sunlight he had, they would also work well on the symbiotes. That's when he noticed something else, a small device stored next to a replica Vibranium shield. He picked the device up and strapped it to his back.
"Warning, intruders approaching prison area," the base's AI stated.
"Can't have that, recall the others and quickly," Winter Soldier said.
He ran down the corridor, deliberately making his footsteps as loud as possible. It was loud enough to catch at least one person's attention. Catwoman came down from the ceiling, swiping at Noah. He dodged several of her attacks and swung the buster laser around, hitting her with the barrel. It wasn't enough to knock her out, but it disorientated her enough. Grabbing her head, Noah threw her across into another room.
"Computer, lock bathroom door...and turn off air freshener," he smirked slightly as he walked away.
Noah could already hear the energy blasts ahead. They had obviously tripped the prison defences. He slid around the corner and threw a grenade, hitting the Hulk's back.
"HEY! I just took down Catwoman, which means there's only ugly left," he said.
McCoy turned to Winter Soldier and growled.
"Let's deal with the pest before we welcome our new friends," he said.
"No, we need to concentrate on opening the cells," Nightmare Batman said.
McCoy growled and began stampeding towards Winter Soldier.
"Computer, close and electrify door 52, on my mark...NOW!" he yelled as Spider-man leapt towards him.
The door slammed shut, and the symbiote Spider-man screamed when he slammed into the door.
'Strange, his spider-sense should have warned him about that, or well, no time to question good luck,' Noah thought.
He ran into the open space of the training area, checking the charge of the hulk buster laser. It was only enough to singe the Hulk, not significantly injure him. Luckily the training room wasn't just a dull, circular room with near unbreakable walls. It had another purpose that allowed Noah to train to the best of his abilities.
"Danger room, release limiters, activate program; Hulked out heroes," he began walking towards the door, raising the buster laser and waiting.
The Hulk bashed through the door, leading Starman and the symbiote couple inside. Winter Soldier saluted the four of them before retreating out of the Danger Room. The blast doors slammed shut and the holograms activated. Instead of the prison, the four were transported to a ruined New York city. There resided 'hulked out' versions of Spider-man, Deadpool, Wolverine, Captain America and Thor.
"My stars and garters," McCoy muttered.
Noah listened to the battle from the other side, briefly imagining the carnage. Overcoming his curiosity, he ran back to the prison. He removed a grenade from his belt and carefully took aim at the Nightmare Batman. As he threw the grenade however, the Batman turned. He threw a batarang, cutting apart the grenade and forming a wall of flames between him and Winter Soldier. The Nightmare Batman flew through the flames, landing a kick on Noah's chest. The hulk buster laser rolled across the floor, and Noah stood up, he immediately blocked his opponent's punches and took a kick to his side.
"Impressive diversionary tactics, except you've made the mistake of assuming that Catwoman and I would be the easiest to bring down," Batman said.
"Actually, I knew you'd be the toughest," Noah retorted.
For every punch he threw, Batman landed three more. Even under the influence of vampirism, Batman was still a competent fighter. Noah pulled out the device on his back and activated it. The two sides of it folded, forming an odd bow shape. Beams shot out of either side of the machine, linking to form a blade of pure light. The UV-Arc was an invention from a reality where vampire hunters fought a never ending war. Swinging the arc around, Noah attempted to cut the Nightmare, but only drew him back.
"Impressive, but this is not a dance, and this is not your domain," Nightmare Batman snarled.
A whip suddenly wrapped around the arc, pulling it out of Noah's grip. He folded out his blaster and fired several shots at the new attacker. Catwoman jumped and flipped across the room, performing a hand stand before kicking Noah across the face. Winter Soldier slid his feet across the floor, pulling his fist back. He fired his blaster, hitting Batman in the chest. Then, immediately folding the blaster back into his fist, he slammed his arm into the vampire's face. The wall was suddenly torn open and McCoy walked out, looking at Noah in anger. He grabbed Noah by his arm and threw him across the ship. Landing on his metal arm, Noah slid across the floor, coming to a halt at the teleporters.
"You didn't seriously think that a locked door would stop Catwoman did you? And putting me in a danger room, A DANGER ROOM! I built the Danger Room in my world, I'm not some useless bulk like the other Hulks you know of," McCoy explained, landing in front of Noah and walking around him.
The symbiote couple also slithered into the room, followed by Starman and Catwoman. Noah stood up, looking at the scrape mark across his arm.
"I am smarter than any of those Hulks, even the ones who retained Banner's intelligence," McCoy continued to rant, not noticing Noah drifting towards one of the consoles. "And I'm not like any of those weakling McCoys either, not some poetry spouting faggot, or a pacifistic do gooder, when it was clear that Xavier could never get practical results, I crushed him and reformed the X-men. In my world, science and evolution joined, our Scott Summers wields Captain America's shield, our Logan is the spirit of vengeance, even my lover Storm now holds the hammer of Thor. Don't you get it boy, there is nothing you can do TO STOP ME!"
"The Hank McCoy's I know of, wouldn't have gone into a big monologue, and given me time to program the teleporter...so I could do this!"
Noah followed his declaration with a push of a button. Teleport pads activated on the ground, and silhouttes began to form. McCoy widened his eyes and snarled as figures emerged from the light. Spider-man's jaw opened and snarled, seeing not only people wearing his Dusk, Prodigy and Ricochet uniforms, but also the symbiotes Phage and Riot. More figures emerged from the light, one standing on top of a glider. He wore white armour, complete with a helmet with winged decorations on either side, and glowing blue eye lenses.
"You should have called earlier Noah, I wasn't doing anything before this," Iron Knight said.
"Speak for yourself, I had to leave my date behind," said another armoured hero.
Jetstream's armour wasn't similar to a knight's though, it was more like a Japanese mech, and included a flight pack.
"You were running late for it anyway," muttered the team's second in command.
Scarlet Dawn stepped up close to Winter Soldier, checking him for injuries before turning to the enemies. She wore a red suit that hugged her athletic frame, it included a military styled utility belt. The young woman also wore a cowl that exposed her short red hair. Beside her stood another woman dressed in a black suit, which included a mask that exposed her eyes and black and white hair. But most astonishingly of all, was that she also wore a cloak of levitation and the eye of Agamotto.
"Magika, whip up something loud for the symbiotes, avoid our team mates though, the rest of you give me an opening," Winter Soldier said.
"You heard him Agents of LOSS, TAKE THEM DOWN!" Crimson Dawn yelled.
The agents ran into battle, a battle that was echoing across the Multiverse.
