Harry Potter was a highly unusual boy.

'Well that's a bit harsh.'

'Ugh... Jack, again. Really?'

'Well I am supposed to be in this story right?'

'Ignoring you...'

For one thing he hated the summer holidays more than any other time of year.

'So would you if you had to live with those people who call themselves 'Family' to him.'

For another; he really wanted to do his homework –

'Ok, now that is strange. I mean who would want to DO homework when you could be doing something else. Like have fun!'

But was forced to do it in secret, in the dead of night.

'Why? I mean yeah I guess the Dursley's might not be happy if other people found out about what he was doing, but he can just do it in his room right?'

'Jack if you're gonna keep interrupting this will take forever to write.'

'I didn't keep interrupting the last one that that took almost two years for you to write.'

*Annoyed face*

'So... how about we move over to me, or skip ahead to when Harry leaves the Dursley's after blowing up his Uncle's sister?'

'Fine...'

Harry was several streets away from Number 4 Privet Drive where he had just left his Aunt, Uncle, and cousin, trying to get his uncle's sister down from the ceiling she was currently bouncing around on.

But it was her own fault.

She insulted his parents, and wouldn't shut up about it.

Coming to the low wall in Magnolia Crescent, panting due to his heavy school trunk, Harry collapsed on the wall, sitting quite still as he caught his breath and calmed his anger filled heart.

Then, after about 10 minutes, a new emotion overtook him: panic. Whichever way he looked at it, he had never been in a worse situation before.

He was alone, on a Muggle street, with a trunk he can barely lift, with nowhere to go, as both Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger were out of the country, and he wasn't exactly sure where Jack Frost lived. Also, he had just done seriously powerful magic. Which meant, going by his warning last year, he was almost certainly expelled from Hogwarts.

Shivering a little, Harry looked around, wondering why Ministry of Magic wizards were attacking him where he sat to take his wand away.

As Harry thought about what might happen to him, he didn't see a stray big black dog watching him from the other side of the road, a sad look in its eyes. It was about to cross the road to meet the boy, when Harry stood up, an I-have-an-idea look on his face and started to look inside his trunk.

Opening the box, he started looking for his invisibility cloak, thinking it would be near the bottom. He was almost there when after moving some school robes, a snowglobe caught his eye.

Pulling it out, Harry remembered what Jack said as the split up at the station earlier that summer.

"As I remember I said I'd ask my family if you could stay with us... You'll be welcome to run away to my place if you want." Jack said handing over a mini snowglobe "Just say where you want to go, or who you want to be with, shake this and then smash it on the ground."

Putting his cloak and wand back into the trunk for safe keeping, remembering what it was like in one of these snowglobes (he had been made to use one last year when he couldn't get to the train), Harry stood up and said to the little glass ball: "Jack Frost's House."

In the dome as the snow swirled around, the image changed from what was Privet Drive, to a building built into the side of a mountain which was covered in snow.

Looking around to make sure no one was looking, Harry reached up and brought the snowglobe down smashing it and making a portal appear in the colours of the Northern Lights. Grabbing the handle of his trunk, Harry walked into it and vanished.

Blinking, the black dog came out of its hiding spot and went to investigate where the boy had just been, only smelling gingerbread and peppermint.

Pouting the dog turned and started to head north to where he knew he would find his prey.

NORTH POLE

Jack Frost was in the workshop helping the Yetis assemble toys for the children of the world.

Normally he wouldn't be doing this, but the other day he had went outside to enjoy the cold freezing air of the Arctic, and left the doors to the sleigh hanger open letting in the cold, and the animals, including a polar bear and her cubs.

So far, Jack had been tasked to painting duty, assembly duty, and making-sure-the-toy-in-question-works-correctly duty.

All of which he made worse by trying to make things a bit more fun, making the Yetis he was doing them with annoyed at him.

Right now, he was with Mark, making toy outfits for baby dolls, and was surprised to learn he was actually good at this.

'Perhaps it has to with me always helping mum make new clothes for Emma'. he thought almost done with a mini dress when alarms start going off making him look up and prick his finger.

"Ow!" he said sucking on it and getting up, grabbing his staff and heading towards where the problem was.

Globe Room 10 minutes earlier...

Harry had come out of the portal rather hard and hit his head on the floor, knocking him out.

It was the elves who found him. And while not as bright or as useful as other kinds of elves or as people thought they were, they could tell this person shouldn't be here, and set the alarm off.

Five minutes later, the room was crowded by Yeti's all carrying some form of weapon, ready to fight, but held back when they saw it was just a human boy.

Jack made his way to the front and recognized who it was.

"Harry?" he said coming over to see if he was alright "Can one of you go get North, please?" he said to the crowd before doing a better check on Harry and tried to get him to wake up.

"Jack?" North's voice said behind him sooner then he thought it would be there. "What's going on? Is that Harry?"

"Yeah, seems to have been knocked out by jumping out the snowglobe too fast." Jack said quickly snatching it off the ground before the elves could touch it. "Seems fine though, if not a little skinny."

Nodding North came over, picked Harry up and together with Jack and Yeti Bob who was carrying Harry's trunk, went to a guest room and set the boy on the bed.

"You stay in here with him Jack," North said patting the white haired teen on the shoulder "Wait until he wakes up, and tell him everything. Don't let him out until you do and are sure he believes in us. I'll call the others."

Nodding, Jack went to go sit by the window, so Harry wouldn't get too cold.

After a while though, Jack fell asleep, leaning against the window, unaware that all across Great Britain the Magical world was in panic due to the Azkaban escapee, Sirius Black, and the fact that no one knew where Harry Potter was.

AN: HELLO EVERYONE!

I am back and Prisoner of Azkaban is on it's way...

I'm not sure how often I'll update it or how long this will take to get done (hopefully a little sooner than CoS)

Thanks to everyone of the reviews who asked me to continue - I hope I wont disappoint, and thanks to those who reminded me of a few things and made some suggestions (hopefully they'll make their way into the story somewhere).
