"Don't be bemused; it's just the news!" said Prime Queen, transmitting worldwide. "Thank you for joining us for this very special program. You will have the chance to witness the victory of our great leader, Scarlet Moth!"
"Hail Scarlet Moth! Hail Scarlet Moth! Hail Scarlet Moth!" the akumatized villains cheered repeatedly.
"Today shall be known as… Villains Day!" said Prime Queen.
"It's time, Scarlet Moth," said Catalyst.
The akumatized villains continued to chant Scarlet Moth's name but stopped when he raised his cane.
"Ladybug. Cat Noir," he said. "I can feel your close presence. If you want to save Paris and all its people, I'll give you one last chance. Give yourselves up and bring me your Miraculous!"
Ladybug and Cat Noir were currently on the rooftop of the Palais de Chaillot with Sprite and the rest of the heroes.
"Penny, for your thoughts, M'lady?" Cat Noir asked.
"It's like he's been preparing for this for a long time," she said. "But we… we're not prepared for this."
"Yes, we are!" said Cat Noir encouragingly. "We've already fought them all, and we won! And there are six of us this time!"
The others nodded.
"We're with you until the end," said Sprite. "Now, what's the plan?"
"If we want to win," said Ladybug, turning back towards the Eiffel Tower, "we have to defeat Hawk Moth, even though we've never fought him before." She then rose to her feet and looked directly at Scarlet Moth. "Hawk Moth! I hope you enjoyed Volpina's illusion because the real Ladybug will never hand you over her Miraculous!"
Cat Noir rose to his feet. "And we've got a better idea! You're gonna give us your Miraculous!"
Sprite then also rose to his feet. "So if you wish to save yourself a massive humiliation, you can give it to us now."
Carapace stood up with Rena Rouge. "You may have an army of akumatized warriors…
"…but we're a whole team of superheroes!" Rena Rouge finished.
Queen Bee then rose to her feet. "You're going to wish you never wore that utterly ridiculous costume!"
All six of them brought out their weapons and posed.
Scarlet Moth laughed. "I understand you want to fight. Then so be it. Guitar Villain. Frightningale. Music!"
Guitar Villain and Frightningale then started playing thunderous music. Upon hearing the music, the other villains, except the giant villains, began charging in towards the Miraculous heroes.
"And so it begins, Prime Queen," said Prime Queen as she broadcasted the fight. "The Scarlet Army is on its way to crush these pathetic Miraculous holders."
"Don't forget our main objective," Ladybug instructed as they charged in. "We want to get to Hawk Moth."
"Well, it's a simple plan then," said Cat Noir. "Go for the big bad boss."
"If we destroy the item giving him his power, the akumatized villain should return to normal," said Sprite.
"Let's get him!" said Rena Rouge.
"I'll cover you!" said Carapace.
"You can count on me, Ladybug," said Queen Bee,
"Cyclone!" Stormy Weather yelled, creating a huge twister.
"Horus! Give me your wings!" said Pharaoh and took off, grabbing Princess Fragrance.
"Thunderbolt!" Stormy Weather yelled, shooting a bolt of lightning at Ladybug.
"Carapace! Shield!" Ladybug ordered.
Carapace tossed his shield at Ladybug, protecting her from Stormy Weather's attack; Riposte then began to attack Ladybug, but she dodged her swings.
"Your swords are no match for Cat Noir and Sprite!" said Ladybug, looking at Cat Noir and Sprite, who both raised their weapons. "Show them what you got!"
The two of them began to engage both Riposte and Mime, who mimed a sword. Rogercop raised his wrists and fired, but Ladybug knocked back his attack away with her yo-yo.
"Queen Bee, Pharaoh's pendant!" Ladybug yelled.
Princess Fragrance fired at Cat Noir and Sprite, but Carapace protected them by blocking the attack with his shield.
"Well done!" said Cat Noir.
"Always nice having someone watch our backs," said Sprite.
Queen Bee then swung her spinning top, striking Pharaoh's pendant, breaking it, releasing the akuma, and turning him back into Jalil.
Ladybug quickly captured the akuma. "Rena Rouge, rescue!"
Princess Fragrance quickly fired her perfume gun, allowing her to fly.
"Good aim, Chloé!" said Rena Rouge, catching Jalil and then tossing her flute at Princess Fragrance's perfume gun, destroying it and releasing the akuma.
"NO!" Princess Fragrance yelled as she transformed back into Rose.
"It's Queen Bee to you, Fox!" said Queen Bee as she caught Rose.
Ladybug then captured the akuma.
Cat Noir was duelling with Mime, Carapace was battling with Riposte, and Sprite was clashing with Darkblade. Riposte thrusted her sword at Carapace, who quickly stepped out of the way and allowed Cat Noir to catch her, tossing her into Mime.
Sprite then managed to trip Dark Blade, making him fall towards Riposte, and the swords clashed. The clash caused Dark Blade to drop his sword, and Sprite quickly grabbed it and smashed it onto the ground. Carapace then tossed his shield at Mime, knocking his hat off, and Cat Noir used Riposte's blade to cut it in half.
He plunged her sword into a park bench, and Carapace smashed it with his shield. The akumas flew out of the destroyed objects, and Ladybug quickly caught them, returning them to normal.
"We make a pretty cool team," said Cat Noir.
"Not bad!" said Ladybug. "But it's not over yet."
"Indeed, I have a feeling that Hawk Moth has only just begun to put his plan into motion," said Sprite.
"It's all going to plan, Catalyst," said Scarlet Moth.
"Nothing's more delightful than leading them to believe that they actually have a chance of winning when their future has already been decided!" Catalyst smiled.
Scarlet Moth then contacted Dark Cupid, who was currently hovering in front of the Le Grand Paris.
"Over to you, Dark Cupid," he said.
Mayor Bourgeois was currently talking to a group of people outside his hotel. "People of Paris. Just like our superheroes, we will never give in to evil and villainy. Together, we shall resist! Together, we will triumph!" He then suddenly received a phone call. "Huh? Ahem. Yes, honey?"
His wife Audrey was on the rooftop with their Butler Jean, who was packing their things onto the helicopter.
"What are you doing?" she asked. "Hurry up, André!"
"Yes, yes, my dear. I'm on my way," said Mayor Bourgeois, who hung up and slowly backed away. "Meanwhile, I will supervise Paris' defence… from my helicopter!" He then entered the hotel and looked back at everyone. "Thank you!"
He then ran off.
A few split moments later, he got onto the rooftop and met up with Audrey and Jean.
"Audrey, my darling. Where's our Chloé?" he asked.
"Out playing superheroes again, probably," said Audrey.
Dark Cupid then fired his arrows at Mayor Bourgeois, Audrey and Jean, causing their emotions about Chloé being a superhero to become negative.
"Chloé shouldn't be playing the superheroine!" said Mayor Bourgeois.
"It's unacceptable! Utterly unacceptable!" said Audrey.
"Mademoiselle will have to be punished," Jean agreed.
Scarlet Moth smiled the moment he sent the negative emotions. "Nice work, Dark Cupid. The Bourgeois family is now in place to follow my plan."
He then released several scarlet akumas, and they flew towards Le Grand Paris. Once there, they began to infect the gold rose on Audrey's hat, Mayor Bourgeois's sash, and Mr. Cuddly, which Jean was holding.
"Style Queen, Malediktator, Despair Bear," said Scarlet Moth. "Chloé never does what she's told, huh? Well, now I'm giving you the power to punish her once and for all!"
Instantly, Mayor Bourgeois, Audrey, and Jean transformed into Malediktator, Style Queen, and Despair Bear.
Back with the heroes, they were still battling against Scarlet Moth's army, and it looked like they were winning.
"There's bad weather on the way!" said Stormy Weather, firing bolts of lightning at Ladybug, who blocked them with her yo-yo.
Cat Noir then extended his staff so that Queen Bee could stand on it. "Your forecast was wrong, Ice Queen!"
He then flung Queen Bee towards her, who performed an axe kick, breaking Stormy Weather's parasol and releasing the akuma. She then transformed back into Aurore and fell towards the ground, but Cat Noir caught up.
"Gotcha!" he said.
Carapace and Rena Rouge were charging towards Rogercop. Carapace used his shield to protect them as they charged in, and Rena Rouge then tossed her flute at Rogercop. He leaned back in order to avoid getting hit, but his whistle got destroyed, and the akuma flew out of it.
"Your days of attacking innocent people will soon be over, Hawk Moth," said Ladybug, then tossed her yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!" Suddenly materialising was a red and black spotted tennis racket. When she grabbed it, she looked around. Her eyes fell upon a houseboat, a lamppost and the other heroes. "Get ready! I'm gonna need all of you!"
Everyone immediately took up fighting positions, unaware that Dark Cupid was standing directly behind them.
"The time has come, Dark Cupid," Scarlet Moth informed him.
Dark Cupid then fired several arrows at Rose, Mr. D'Argencourt, Kagami, Aurore, Jalil, Roger, and Fred, causing them to feel negative emotions.
"What?" Ladybug asked, looking behind them.
With their negative emotions resurfacing, Scarlet Moth sent a swarm of scarlet akuma towards them. They instantly infected them and re-akumatized into their million forms.
"What an incredible twist!" said Prime Queen. "Those lousy heroes didn't even see it coming!"
Cat Noir then saw Dark Cupid. "Hawk Moth is using Dark Cupid to create all the negative emotions he needs."
"Thereby creating an endless army for him," said Sprite.
Dark Cupid then began firing more arrows, and if that wasn't bad enough, the heroes had to engage the re-akumatized villains.
"It's a nightmare!" said Carapace as he blocked the attacks with his shield.
"Stay focused, guys!" said Ladybug. "Villains must never prevail!"
" Fall on them like rain, my scarlet akumas!" Scarlet Moth commanded.
A massive swarm of scarlet akumas then headed towards the heroes.
"Watch out!" Ladybug warned.
"Oh no," said Cat Noir.
"Just what we need," said Sprite.
The heroes continued to fight now, all of them standing in a circle, but it was clear they were getting overrun.
"Now watch Scarlet Moth's relentless plan to get rid of your precious protectors," Prime Queen laughed.
Pharaoh began slamming his fists against Carapace's shield, overpowering him. He eventually noticed the shield of his ham and grasped his hand, holding him in place, and that was then that Rena Rouge noticed Dark Cupid aiming an arrow at him. Carapace had just managed to kick Pharoah back, and Dark Cupid fired his arrow.
"Carapace, watch out!" Rena Rouge yelled and then jumped in, taking the hit.
"Rena? No! Not you!" Carapace cried, catching her.
Rena Rouge's lips then turned black, and she started to growl. "Hands off!" She then shoved Carapace away from her. "You flyweight!"
Ladybug noticed that an akuma was now approaching Rena Rouge and quickly caught it before it infected her. "Rena Rouge, don't let any negative emotions take over you, or you might get akumatized too, and that's exactly what Hawk Moth wants!"
Rena Rouge struggles to reject the arrow's influence.
"Hold on!" Carapace pleaded.
"You are not cut out to be a hero!" said Rena Rouge, lunging at Carapace, who then quickly restrained her. "Let go of me, you weakling!"
She then tried to break out of his grasp.
"Shh. Easy," said Carapace gently.
Princess Fragrance began to fire her perfume at Rena Rouge and Carapace, but Queen Bee blocked the attack with her spinning top.
"You don't have to worry about me, Ladybug!" said Queen Bee. "I'll never let my emotions get the better of me!"
"You should never say… 'never'," Scarlet Moth smiled.
Style Queen and Malediktator then appeared in front of Queen Bee.
"Chloé!" they said.
Queen Bee gasped upon seeing them. "Daddy? Mommy?!"
"Queen Bee! Focus!" Ladybug yelled but was then attacked by Pharoah.
"By the power vested in me, stop playing superheroes!" said Malediktator, firing his orbs at her.
Style Queen also began firing her glitter, and Queen Bee was stuck defensive, using her spinning top to block the attacks.
Rena Rouge finally broke free from Carapace and happily allowed a scarlet akuma to infect her Miraculous. She instantly began turning scarlet red,
"I am now… Rena Rage!" she yelled.
"NOOOOOO!" Carapace cried, and his sadness allowed a scarlet akuma to infect his Miraculous.
"Carapace, no!" Ladybug cried.
Carapace's costume then began to turn scarlet red as well. "There is no more Carapace," he said, rising to his feet and raising his shield. "There is only Shell Shock!"
He instantly tossed his shield at Ladybug, who quickly dodged it.
Queen Bee was still fending off her parents and was being pushed back towards a lamppost where Despair Bear was hiding and then grabbed hold of her.
"Stop!" he yelled.
Queen Bee suddenly found herself unable to move, allowing Dark Cupid to shoot an arrow at her and scarlet akuma to infect her Miraculous.
"Queen Bee!" Cat Noir yelled.
She then began to transform back into Queen Wasp, but her outfit was scarlet red.
"That's Queen Wasp to you, cockroach!" she yelled, swinging a punch towards Cat Noir, but he was able to dodge it.
"We're not going to win like this!" Sprite yelled as he dodged a bolt of lightning from Stormy Weather
Cat Noir looked at Ladybug as he avoided several akumatized villains' attacks. "This might be a good time to use that Lucky Charm of yours, don't you think?"
"I need all of us to make it work!" said Ladybug as she was avoiding several akumatized villains' attacks. "I can't do anything with it now!"
The akumatized villains begin to surround the three heroes while Frightningale and Guitar Villain continue to play their music.
"Game, set, and match, Ladybug," Scarlet Moth smiled.
The three heroes were now fighting back to back, using their weapons as shields.
"I don't see how we're going to get out of this one," said Cat Noir.
"We can't lose hope, or we'll get akumatized, too," said Ladybug.
"That will be the least of our problems if we don't get out of here," said Sprite.
"Pretty cataclysmic situation, huh?" said Cat Noir.
Ladybug gasped. "Cataclysm! That's it! Beneath us, Cat Noir!"
"Of course," he said and raised his hand. "Cataclysm!"
He then quickly slammed his hand onto the ground below them. There was a small explosion that created a giant hole that allowed them to escape.
"No more Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite!" said Prime Queen. "Have they destroyed themselves, or…?"
The three heroes had managed to escape into the sewers and were now running when Ladybug's earrings beeped.
"I'm about to transform back," Ladybug warned as they reached a fork. "I'll go this way. You go that way."
"And I'll stand guard," said Sprite.
Both Ladybug and Cat Noir ran down the opposite ends of the sewer and Sprite Stuttgart by the entrance. No sooner had she reached her tunnel, Ladybug began to detransforms back into Marinette.
"That was a close one," said Marinette as she reached into her purse and pulled a macaroon for Tikki.
"Claws in!" said Caat Noir and detransforms into Adrien.
Adrien then pulled a piece of Camembert from his pocket and gave it to Plagg. "Enjoy it, but don't take too long. We don't have much time."
"Let's share it," said Plagg, splitting the cheese in half. "You're gonna need it, too."
Adrien smiled at him, taking the cheese. "Thank you, Plagg."
Up on the surface Scarlet Moth was well aware that the three heroes had escaped.
"Animan, track down Ladybug Cat Noir and Lord Sprite," he commanded. "They must not escape."
Animan shapeshifts from a T-Rex into a panther.
"You okay, Ladybug?" Adrien asked.
"Hawk Moth has never re-akumatized so many people in one go," said Ladybug. "Something's changed."
"Maybe he's figured out how to boost his powers, just like we did," said Adrien.
"A wielder of the Butterfly Miraculous cannot use their powers to amplify themselves while wearing it," said Sprite. "However, there is a workaround. They can give someone else the power, and then they can amplify them."
"So you mean he's not working alone," said Adrien.
Sprite shrugged. "Most bad guys normally have a henchman leading them."
"You still think we can win?" Marinette asked.
Adrien smiled. "Like you said, we can't lose hope. People are relying on us."
"But our team crumbled," Marinette pointed out.
"Then let's go back to what's always worked," said Cat Noir. "A trio. The three of us against the world, m'lady."
"It might not just be the three of us. Lady P can offer her assistance, and I think we need all the help we can get at this point," said Sprite.
Marinette was about to reply when suddenly they heard a noise. "They're coming!"
Several akumatized villains were heading their way.
"I think it's time we take our leave," said Sprite.
"You like water rides?" Adrien asked as they ran towards the sewer waters.
Marinette ran in the same direction. "Don't forget to put your diving gear on."
They then jumped towards the water, and both Marinette and Adrien quickly closed their eyes.
"Tikki, power-up!" Marinette yelled, tossing Tikki an aqua power-up.
"Plagg, power up!" Adrien yelled, doing the same with Plagg.
Sprite also consumed an aqua power-up in the three heroes transformed into the aqua forms. They then hit the water and began to swim through the sewer pipes. However, they didn't get far as Syren blocked their path, wielding a torn signpost.
"Syren!" said Aquabug.
The villains have reached the edge of the sewers that they could follow. However, Animan then dived into the water, transforming into a giant catfish.
"Better get fishing," said Aqua Noir.
He then quickly swam towards Syren while Aquabug swims towards Animan. Aqua Noir began fencing with Syren, but Aqua Sprite managed to get behind her and grabbed her, giving Aqua Noir the chance to smash a bracelet. Aquabug dodged Animan snapping at her and quickly broke his pain.
The moment the akumas were released and Ladybug caught them, Syren and Animan turned back into Ondine and Otis. The two of them had trouble breathing underwater until Aquabug and Aqua Noir gave them their yo-yo and staff to use as breathing devices.
"It's gonna take a lot of time to de-akumatize all these villains one by one," said Aqua Noir.
"Which is exactly why we have to take on Hawk Moth directly," said Aquabug. "He's using his cane to re-akumatize his victims. If we can destroy it, he won't have an army fighting for him anymore."
"That's a sound theory, but getting to it is another matter entirely," said Sprite.
Then, suddenly, they saw that the sewer water was beginning to freeze, and the three heroes quickly retreated.
At the Eiffel Tower, Scarlet Moth laughed maliciously as Frozer began to freeze all of Paris.
"Behold my triumph, Parisians!" he said. "Your champions are trapped!"
Fortunately, the three heroes managed to jump out of the water just before it was completely frozen.
"Spots off!" Ladybug yelled.
"Claws in!" Cat Noir yelled.
"Light wings fall!" Sprite yelled.
They then transformed into their regular forms, and Ladybug quickly swung her yo-yo, destroying Frozer's ice skates and releasing the akuma, which she captured.
"You sure don't want to miss what's coming next!" said Ladybug as Ondine and Otis ran away. "Time to show everyone that the real Ladybug is back!"
She then released all the captive akumas from her yo-yo, and thanks to Prime Queen, everyone could see that the three heroes had returned.
"Look!" Nora pointed as she and the twins watched her phone. "The heroes are back."
It wasn't just Nora and the twins who were jumping for joy, but everyone else in Paris.
Scarlet Moth was soon realising that everything was not going according to plan.
He then quickly covered Prime Queen drone. "Stop filming, Prime Queen!"
"No more escaping for you knaves," said Darkblade as he stood there with his army of knights. "Down with the enemy!"
The three heroes gulped as they saw Darkblade's army and the giants standing guard over the Eiffel Tower.
"I suggest we take a little detour," Ladybug suggested.
"Couldn't agree more, M'lady," said Cat Noir.
"Yeah, we need to thin the herd," Sprite agreed.
The trio then quickly made their way through the streets, and the Scarlet Army soon began to chase after them.
"Any miraculous ideas, M'lady?" Cat Noir asked.
"Besides running and surviving, do you mean?" Ladybug asked.
Sprite immediately called Lady P. "Lady P, we could certainly do have some backup."
"I'm already on my way," she informed him. "But if you tell your next right, I think you'll be surprised."
They turned the next right and soon came face-to-face with a barricade, which they quickly jumped over. The Scarlet Army stopped, and then suddenly, several civilians climbed over the barricade. Among them were Marinette's parents, Anarka, Luka, and others, led by Nora.
"Parisians, we can be heroes just for one day!" Nora yelled, holding out the French flag.
"Yeah! Yes! Yes!" the Parisians yelled.
"What? A revolution?!" Darkblade stared and then pointed his sword at them. "Charge!"
Darkblade's Army charged at the rebelling Parisians. Then, several Parisians grabbed Rena Rage, Shell Shock and Queen Wasp and pulled them through the windows.
"Are you okay?" Gina asked as she helped Ladybug up.
"It's awesome seeing you guys again!" said Marlena.
"Parisians are all on your side," said Gina.
"We will slow them down," said Marlena. "You two go save the world!"
Then, suddenly landing on the barricade was Lady P. "I think you guys can do a lot more than slow them down with the right tools."
"Hey, Lady P," Sprite smiled.
Ladybug and Cat Noir stared at her as this was the first time they had ever seen.
"Wait, you're Lady P?" Cat Noir stared.
"The one and only, I am the future will of the Peacock Miraculous," she said.
Ladybug's eyes widened. "Lady P? As in Lady Peacock!"
Lady P shrugged. "What can I say? You were an inspiration. Now I think it's time that we even to the odds."
She then pulled out her fan and pulled out a feather from it. "It's time that Hawk Moth learned that a single spark of hope is powerful."
She then tossed the feather straight at Lord Sprite and attended to his cane. Suddenly, some sort of Royal blue powerpack materialised, attaching itself to Sprite. Instantly, his purple outfit turned Royal blue.
"Say hello to Amplifier. He's just given Lord Sprite an upgrade," Lady P smiled.
"Oh, I'm not Lord Sprite any more. Say hello to Royal Sprite," said Sprite as he immediately began spinning his cane. "Hawk Moth's akuma are attaching themselves to fear and anger, but my kamikos will latch onto hope and love!"
Sprite suddenly unleashed a swarm of Royal blue kamikos, and they began to attach themselves to rebelling Parisians, instantly transforming them into Royal blue heroes.
"We can handle things here; the two of you confront Hawk Moth," said Lady P.
"Thank you!" said Ladybug. "Take care!"
"Thank you!" said Cat Noir.
The two heroes run off.
At the Eiffel Tower, Scarlet Moth turn towards his giants
"Get them, my giants," he commanded. "Destroy Ladybug and Cat Noir! And anyone else who tries to stand in your way!"
The Scarlet Giants saluted Scarlet Moth.
Within moments, the Giants moved in towards Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"Hey!" Luka yelled, who had transformed into Menstrual, who resembled an 18th-century violin player.
He soon began playing his violin, which created a beautiful sound that began to put Gigantitan to sleep.
Markov, who transformed into a royal blue version of Robustus, began using his powers to control machinery to pin Stoneheart to the ground. Gina, who transformed into Glinda, who resembled a glittering fairy, only royal blue, began flying around Gorizilla, distracting him.
Ladybug and Cat Noir continued running over the rooftops and watched everything.
"People are amazing!" said Cat Noir.
"That's precisely why you should never give up hope, kitty!" said Ladybug.
Scarlet Moth narrowed his eyes as Ladybug and Cat Noir got closer.
"They're more resistant than I expected," he said. "And it would appear that they had another hero from the future on their side, and it would seem as if she has given Lord Sprite a power boost as well."
"But we still have the last phase of our plan," Catalyst pointed out.
Scarlet Moth then walked away.
Ladybug and Cat Noir finally reached the Eiffel Tower, which Glaciator and Gamer were guarding.
"Take care of the ice cream man, Cat Noir!" said Ladybug
"With pleasure!" said Cat Noir. "All this fighting has made me hungry."
Gamer began to fire at Ladybug, who quickly jumped over him, and Glaciator fired his ice cream bullets at Cat Noir. However, he quickly jumped into the air and passed Ladybug as she jumped off Gamer, resulting in the two villains hitting one another and taking each other down.
The two of them then jumped onto the Eiffel Tower and came face-to-face with Scarlet Moth, who gasped at the sudden appearance.
"It's down to the three of us, Hawk Moth!" said Ladybug
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug yelled, tossing her yo-yo into the air, and materialising was a red and black spotted miniature Miraculous box. She then opened it and held it out to Scarlet Moth. "It's a sign, Hawk Moth. A sign that your Miraculous will wind up inside this box!"
"Are you sure you're not making a serious mistake?" said Scarlet Moth. "How would you know if the wish I was planning to make with your Miraculous wouldn't have been beneficial to everyone?"
"If you were to make a wish, there'd be a price to pay," Ladybug pointed out. "Why don't you tell us your wish, Hawk Moth?"
"Give me your Miraculous, and you'll find out," he said
Unbeknownst to the two heroes, this Scarlet Moth was, in fact, an illusion created by Volpina, and the real Scarlet Moth was hiding nearby
"Unlike you, I'm not afraid to use these powers," said Volpina, who was hiding above them.
"Since you are so good, why didn't you try to change the world for the better?" said the Scarlet Moth illusion.
"We are changing the world every day by our actions," said Ladybug. "Not just by wishing it at the expense of innocent citizens!"
Hovering out of sight was Dark Cupid, aiming an arrow at the two heroes; he was waiting for Scarlet Moth's signal.
"Whatever your wish, it can only be evil judging by the havoc you wreak," said Cat Noir.
The two heroes then began approaching the illusion of Scarlet Moth, unaware they were falling into a trap.
"The time has come! You are about to triumph at last," said Catalyst.
Ladybug then held the Miraculous box in front of the illusion Scarlet Moth, unaware that the real Scarlet Moth was now sneaking up behind them. "It's not too late. You can fight for good with us."
Then, Ladybug spotted the real Scarlet Moth behind her and Cat Noir through the Miraculous Box's reflective surface. She then quickly spun around in time to see Scarlet Moth firing a pair of Scarlet akumas, and at the same time, Dark Cupid fired his arrows. She quickly pushed Cat Noir out of the way, and the arrows shot the illusion instead.
The two of them quickly jumped to their feet, and Ladybug quickly caught the scarlet akumas, and Cat Noir tossed his staff, striking the badge on Dark Cupid's chest. The akuma then shot out of it, and he turned back into Kim and fell. Ladybug quickly caught the akuma and wrapped her yo-yo around Kim, gently placing him on the ground.
"No!" Scarlet Moth roared.
"You're such a coward, Hawk Moth!" said Ladybug as she and Cat Noir turned to face him.
"But there's no hiding this time!" said Cat Noir.
They immediately charged towards Scarlet Moth, swinging their weapons, and he countered by blocking the attacks with his cane. He then kicked Cat Noir back and began swinging his cane at Ladybug, who nimbly dodges swings. She then somersaulted backwards, and Cat Noir moved in and began fencing with him with his staff.
"Now!" Ladybug yelled as she swung her yo-yo around Scarlet Moth's cane just as he raised it.
With one good yank, she pulled it right out of his hands and flung it towards Cat Noir. He caught it in his hand and destroyed it. The moment he did, Scarlet Moth returned to plain old Hawk Moth.
"No!" he said.
Then suddenly, all his akumatized villains instantly return to normal.
"Ladybug and Cat Noir did it," said Lady P.
"Then there's no need for my heroes," said Royal Sprite, snapping his fingers and transforming all his heroes back to normal.
"Then there is no need for my amok," said Lady P solemnly and snapped her fingers.
Amplifier then immediately vanished, and Royal Sprite turned back to plain old Lord Sprite.
In Hawk Moth's Lair, Catalyst saw that the tide had completely turned.
"NO!" she yelled and then ran off.
She instantly made her way to Gabriel's safe and took out the Peacock Miraculous.
Hawk Moth glared at Ladybug and Cat Noir, not ready to admit defeat.
"Alright, kids," he said as he raised his fists. "Watch what a man who's got nothing to lose can do!"
They then instantly charged at one another, but Hawk Moth was far stronger than the duo, even outnumbered and weaponless. He quickly overpowered them, and what was worse, they were about to transform back.
"You're never going to win," he said as he approached them. "Not today or any other day. You're still so green, young superheroes. You can't even stay transformed after you've used your powers."
He was just about to grab their Miraculous, but Carapace's shield came out of nowhere, nearly hitting right under the chin. The shield and return to Carapace, who stood on the Eiffel Tower with the other heroes.
"Need a hand?" Rena Rouge asked.
Ladybug quickly got up and swung her yo-yo around the Eiffel Tower, creating a net.
"You're caught in our net, Hawk Moth," she said to him. "You're not going anywhere!"
The other heroes then jumped down next to them.
"Venom!" Queen Bee yelled. "I'll paralyse him; then he'll be all yours, Ladybug."
The seven heroes approached Hawk Moth, who knew he was beaten.
However, within his lair, Nathalie used the Peacock Miraculous to transform. Her skin was now bright blue, and she wore a robe resembling a peacock's tail. She was now calling herself Mayura. She then plucked a feather from her hand fan, charged it with energy, transformed it into an amok and sent it to the Eiffel Tower.
It soon reached the Eiffel Tower and entered into Hawk Moth's broken cane.
"Hawk Moth," she said telepathically, and Hawk Moth gasped upon hearing her. "I am Mayura. You're up against the wall, plagued by your deepest, darkest despair. Let me help you."
"No, don't do that!" he said, horrified.
"Let your despair be embodied in a powerful protection," said Mayura.
Hawk Moth reluctantly accepted Mayura's help, and suddenly manifesting was a giant purple moth. It began flapping its wings, unleashing a powerful gust of wind that blew the heroes back.
"What is that monster?" Ladybug yelled as she held onto her yo-yo.
However, she lost her grip and was blown away, causing the net she had created to loosen. She then quickly swung her yo-yo, wrapped it around the moth's stinger, and pulled herself back towards it. However, before she could do any blow, it vanished into thin air, and Ladybug noticed a feather flying out of Hawk Moth's cane.
"A feather!" she said as the other heroes gathered.
"That was an amok, created by the wheels of the present-day Peacock Miraculous," said Lady P.
"That's the second Miraculous that Master Fu lost," said Ladybug.
"Ladybug! Hawk Moth!" Queen Bee yelled.
The seven superheroes looked around and saw that Hawk Moth was gone.
"He must've escaped when that monster appeared," said Cat Noir.
"Hawk Moth is no longer working alone," said Ladybug. "He had help from the owner of the present-day Peacock Miraculous." Queen Bee then handed her Hawk Moth's broken cane. "Maybe this will help us track him."
Hawk Moth was limping away in defeat, exhausted and then de-transforms.
"Master?" said Nooroo, looking at Gabriel with concern.
Then suddenly, the cane in Ladybug's hand faded away.
"There goes our last chance of finding him," said Rena Rouge.
"He must have de-transformed," Ladybug concluded, and then her earrings beeped.
"We don't have time to search for him," said Sprite, looking down at his brooch, noting that he only had a few seconds left. "Me and Lady P need to get out of here now before we transform back."
Ladybug nodded and watched as Lord Sprite and Lady P dashed off.
"We've got to split too, guys," she said. "But before that, Miraculous Ladybug!"
She quickly tossed the miniature Miraculous box in the air, and it instantly began to remove all the ice and repair all the damage. She then took off with Rena Rouge and Carapace and collected the Fox and Turtle Miraculous from them, while Cat Noir collected the Bee Miraculous from Chloé.
Both Sprite and Lady P managed to get into an alleyway and de-transformed back to Jack and Jill.
Marinette then returned to Master Fu's shop, giving him back the Miraculouses.
"Thank you, Marinette," Master Fu nodded and closed the lid.
Back at the Agreste mansion, Gabriel was putting a drained Nathalie into a chair.
"I told you never to use the Peacock Miraculous!" he said, kneeling in front of her.
"I had no choice, sir. I had to save you!" she said and coughed.
"It's damaged. It's way too dangerous."
"I want to help you all the way to the end," Nathalie smiled.
Gabriel glared at her but then smiled. "Thank you, Nathalie." He then placed a hand on top of hers. "For everything."
At the Place de Vosges, Lila bitterly watched her classmates having a picnic from her bedroom window.
Chloé looked at Sabrina, who offered her a plate of cookies. "There's no way I'm trying your homemade stuff. Too risky!"
She then ate a plate of sushi instead while Sabrina cried.
"I'll have one," said Jill, who was visiting today, taking a cookie from Sabine's plate and calming her down.
Adrien then arrived and attempted to sit down next to Nino, but Alya took the seat instead.
"Taken," said Alya. Adrien then tried to sit on the other side, and Alya jumped onto that one, too. She then pointed over to Marinette. "Taken as well, but there's a free seat over there."
"Here! Here! Here!" Mylène yelled but then quickly stopped when she noticed Marinette staring at her.
Adrien then walked up to Marinette, who immediately sat up frantically. "May I?"
"No. Um, go away," she said, flustered. "No, I mean, go ahead. Please stand, I mean, sit."
"Thanks," Adrien smiled and sat beside Marinette. As soon as he sat down, he received a phone message and noticed his bodyguard waiting for him from afar. "Oh no. My father wants me to attend a charity event he's throwing. I can't stay."
He then sat up and looked down at Marinette. "I wanted to tell you. Rose was right earlier. You're always helping people. Like that day, you helped Juleka overcome her class photo curse. Or when you partnered Nathaniel and Marc together to make that comic book. Or when you helped me get to the movies so that I could see my mother on the screen. That's why everyone jumped at the chance to help you with the picnic. So today, it was our turn to help you. You're our everyday Ladybug. Have a good evening, Super-Marinette."
He then walked away, and Marinette watched.
"Adrien!" she yelled, running after him. She accidentally bumped into him. "Uh… I, uh…"
Miss Bustier's class watched and gasped as Marinette kissed Adrien on the cheek.
"Thank you!" she said.
Adrien smiled at her. "You're welcome, Marinette."
He waved goodbye and continued walking away as the class cheered for Marinette, not noticing that she was standing on top of a pie. Fireworks then were heard as they erupted all over the city in celebration of Heroes Day.
