Unscrupulous land developers have their eyes set on a prime piece of property on the coast of Maine. The widow who lives there, though, isn't interested in selling. Michael and Kitt are sent to help. When the New York DA's office runs into trouble from within they must call in help from outside the city. Their request goes all the way to LA and the headquarters of FLAG. Michael, Kitt, Devon and Bonnie ride to the rescue. But they also have some ghostly help from an unexpected source and also from a man who lives in the tunnels under the city and beneath the subways...

Somehow Captain Daniel Gregg of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" ends up in the present day in my "FLAG Today" universe with Michael Knight, Bonnie Barstow, KITT and KELI. In the meantime, Devon Miles, who died more than two decades ago finds himself alive and in Schooner Bay, Maine in the late 1960's!

Finding himself at a loose end at the French port of Le Havre in 1866, Daniel decides to take the train to Paris to visit old haunts. He finds the old city he knew is in the process of being redesigned on a grand scale. Finding nowhere to stay, he meets a mysterious stranger, who offers him a meal and a bed for the night if Daniel will tell him of the places he has seen...

Devon Miles has a huge secret he's kept from his colleagues at FLAG. When they find out, he has a LOT of explaining to do. More details in Part 1 for KR fans who are unfamiliar with the TV show of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.
