The summary is that this is an AU in modern era where Steve is *struggling* and he tries to not. Classic Steve. There's baseball, and Late Night shows and Angie. And pining. And did I mention that there's twitter? And the way it all unfolds is entertaining (at least to me). Enjoy?

Peggy's not sure how it happens. One minute she's fighting a giant tentacled monster and the next she's alone in that castle she'd left her team behind in. But something's different.

This is an AU based on the Bones Universe (the show) where Peggy is Agent Booth and Steve is Dr. Brennan but it's not the exact same, just the premise/location/plot style. Someone has gone missing & Peggy & Jack Thompson are on the case. They need the help of a particular historian at the Smithsonian & of course chaos ensues. This will be an "update as I have ideas" type of story.

Steggy Week Day 7: Free Write! This is inspired by the scene in CA:TFA where Bucky has gotten him and Steve dates and Steve's date is HORRID. And that idea blossomed into this modern AU!

After multiple fatal failures, the SSR is at it's wits end to find someone, anyone who can help them infiltrate a dangerous crime syndicate. And the most unusual person of all is just who they need. But things, as per usual in Peggy's life, never go to plan.
