Discovering the truth and finding a cure
"Excellent work you two! That would teach the Diamond Kingdom that we aren't defenseless just because we are dealing with a terrorist group." Julius said with a wide smile on his face.
Currently, after the Sword Of Logos and the Golden Dawn finished making sure that Kiten is back in order, the two Magic Knight squads head back to their respective bases, apart from Ryo and William who travelled to the Magic Knight's headquarters within the Royal Capital to give a brief report about the mission.
"Thank you, Sir." William said whilst bowing slightly.
"Heh. The Diamond Kingdom soldiers were easy to take care of." Ryo said with a smirk on his face, whilst apart of him is a bit nervous at being in the presence of the Wizard King.
"So what is the damaged like it Kiten?" Julius asked, sounding a bit worried.
"From what I'm aware of, most of Kiten is still intact, just a few walls may have fallen down." William replied before glancing towards Ryo.
"It pretty much the same on my end….apart from that Donna reported how your vice-captain destroyed a large portion of a building when he was fighting Yagos, one of the Shining Generals." Ryo explained making William sigh slightly. "
I understand. Whilst Langris is dedicated to protecting the Clover Kingdom, his methods…..can be on the extreme side." William explained in a sheepish tone of voice.
"And what about the citizens? Are there and casualties amongst them?" Julius asked, still in a worried tone of voice.
"None at all. Just a few that may be traumatized by the event." William said, making Julius nod his head before looking over at Ryo.
"…" The swordsman of the earth became silent and start to gain an awkward expression on his face.
"Don't tell me that your fellow Sword Of Logos Magic Knight reported that Langris did something that injured the citizens?" William asked, having a good idea what is going through Ryo's head.
"Thankfully, your vice-captain didn't actually injured any of the citizens. But according to Donna, the same Shining General took a few citizens hostage and Langris was planning on sacrificing the citizens in order to kill Yagos. If it wasn't for Kenzan's interference, then innocent blood will be splattered across the ground." Ryo explained, causing a slight dark expression to appear on Julius's face.
"That is most disturbing. I am aware that Langris is betrothed to a noblewoman of house Kira, one of the royal families. If Langris was successful in spilling innocent blood and word got out, then things would likely be nasty for both house Kira and house Vaude." Julius said in a serious tone of voice.
"I will speak to Langris personally about his actions, Sir." William said, making the Wizard King nod his head.
However, Ryo has a confuse expression on his face.
"Vaude?" Ryo asked, making both Julius and William to look at him.
"That's right, Langris is the second son to house Vaude." William explained, making Ryo blink his eyes slightly.
"Is he related to Finral, the spatial Mage of the Black Bulls?" Ryo asked, remembering that Finral's surname is Vaude.
"Yes, Finral is the eldest son to house Vaude. Normally, Finral would be betrothed to the noblewoman of house Kira, but due to family issues, I believe, Langris is chosen as the next head of house Vaude." William explained, making Ryo nod his head.
"So is there anything else to report?" Julius asked, wanting to change the subject.
"Well, I believe that there have been spies observing the Sword Of Logos." Ryo said, making both Julius and William widen their eyes.
"Are your sure about this?" Julius asked in a surprised tone of voice.
"Yes, the Shining General that I was fighting pretty much confirmed this. Donna and Rin are aware of this fact." Ryo explained, making a frown to appear on Julius face.
"Whilst it isn't a major concern to the safety of the Clover Kingdom, it is concerning that the Diamond Kingdom may have other spies placed elsewhere in the kingdom. Thank god the Sword Of Logos isn't a secret weapon to be used against the Diamond Kingdom." Julius said in a semi-relied tone of voice.
"But still….There's still the matter what the Diamond Kingdom is planning with the gathered information on the Sword Of Logos." William pointed out, causing Ryo to frown whilst crossing his arms.
"Good question. Let's hope that it won't effect the entire Clover Kingdom, we aren't much liked by most of the nobility anyway. No offence to you two." Ryo added, trying not to cause any trouble.
"None taken. But just keep an eye out, the Diamond Kingdom may use this information to destroy the Clover Kingdom's branch of the Sword Of Logos." Julius explained, making the swordsman of the earth to nod his head.
"Fire Healing Magic: Flame Dragon's Heart." Asta said as he use his healing spell.
Even though it has been a few days since the Sword Of Logos's and Black Bull's battle against Vetto, Asta's arms haven't healed not in the slightest.
Even though everyone knows that the spell that Vetto used is through Demonic Mana, the swordsman of flames's arms should have shown signs of healing.
"Fire Healing Magic: Flame Dragon's Heart!" Asta said with a tone of desperation in his voice as he watch as the ghostly dragon came out of his Grimoire and cover his arms in red energy.
However, nothing seemed to have happened.
This caused the ash-white hair teen to groan in frustration.
"Don't be like that Asta. It could just be that the healing process is going at a slow rate." Fiona said as she held Asta's arms in order to make sure that the ash-white hair teen doesn't move them and hurt himself.
"I know, but…." Asta began to say but trailed off and sighed deeply.
"Cheer up, Asta. You aren't the type to get depress. Come on, let get those bandages on you." Fiona said as she slowly remove one of hands away from Asta's arms to a table that has fresh bandages on it.
"I'm not a fragile object you know." Asta muttered with a slight frown on his face.
Nero, who is currently sitting on Asta's head, give him a small peck of beak, causing some pain towards Asta.
"And that doesn't mean you hurt me either!" Asta shouted in annoyance, glancing upwards at the anti-magic bird.
The interaction cause caused Fiona to giggle slightly.
"Fiona….can I ask you something?" Asta asked, causing the maid of the Sword Of Logos to look at him.
"Sure. What do you want to ask me?" Fiona asked, becoming curious.
"I've been wondering...how did end up working for the Sword Of Logos?" Asta asked, causing Fiona to blink her eyes in surprise.
"You just asking this just now? We know each other for a while now." Fiona pointed out, causing Asta to gain a sheepish smile on his face.
"It didn't really occurred to me…..plus you have been busy with your duties…." Asta responded in an awkward tone of voice.
"True. If you really want to hear my story, then I originally came from Wonder World." Fiona began to to explain her story, causing a slight surprise expression to appear on Asta's face.
"I grew up in a forestry area of Wonder World, and for most of my life, I've been fascinated about the existence of these lands and wanted to visit them." Fiona explained with a small smile on her face.
"However, even though the Gate Books" are pretty common amongst the Sword Of Logos, there are rare within the rest of the population of Wonder World." Fiona further explained, the smile fading slightly.
"So I just live my life with the rest of the family. However, everything changed when bandits started to attack the forest and the village that I lived in." Fiona said, causing Asta and Nero to gain surprise expressions on their faces.
"Luckily, Magic Knights from the Sword Of Logos appeared to our aid. But...the bandits have already claimed a few of the lives of the villages, some of them being my family." Fiona said, causing horrified expressions to appear on Asta's and Nero's faces.
"Luckily, I manage to hide from the bandits through the use of my wood magic. B-but….I still felt terrified that I may still be found by the bandits that stalk the place. However, before the bandits could my find hiding place. A Holy Sword wielder burst into my home and took care of the bandits." Fiona said, causing Asta's eyes to widen.
"A Holy Sword wielder?! Who?!" Asta asked in an excited tone before wincing in pain slightly.
This cause Fiona to giggle slightly before continuing her story.
"Due to the smoke, I couldn't see sword-wielder's helmet. Anyway, the Holy Sword welder somehow managed to find my hiding place and guide me to safety." Fiona explained, having a fond smile on her as she remember being safe within the Holy Sword wielder's preference before disappearing.
"However, before the Holy Sword wielder can properly take me to safety, we were ambushed by some more bandits. The Holy Sword wielder passed a "Gate Book" and said to escape. Whilst I did got out the way of the upcoming fight, I decided to hide and watched. The Holy Sword wielder managed to overpower the bandits….however, everything changed when another bandit entered the battle…..and managed to broke the Holy Sword." Fiona explained, causing a shock expression to appear on Asta's face.
"S-someone managed to break a Holy Sword…...I bet Mr Daishinji went on a murderous rampage when he heard the news." The ash-white hair teen thought, shaking and paling at the thought an angry Tetsuo.
"Anyway, I knew that it was at that moment that I need to escape and open the "Gate Book" and went through the pages before the bandits realize my presence. I found myself within the Clover Kingdom, completely lost. After a while of wondering about I was apprehended by some Magic Knights from the Coral Peacocks, saying something that I'm in the way of an important mission that they were doing. I explain to them that I'm completely lost and ask for directions to the nearest town. It was then that Captain Unsworth appeared and noticing the emblem on my Grimoire, she decided to take me to the Sword Of Logos. Sometime later I ended up as the Sword Of Logos's maid for the last three years." Fiona finished her story, causing Asta to become silent.
"That's…..some story." Asta said after a few seconds later.
"Yes, my dream of visiting these lands came true…..but at a price." Fiona said with a sad smile on her face.
"Did you…..told Mr Daishinji about the sword breaking?" Asta asked in an awkward tone of voice, which resulted in Fiona giving him a deadpan expression.
"Of course, I need to tell them the whole story after all. But still…..the fury that was in Mr Daishinji's eyes." Fiona said, shivering in fear.
"I'm glad that I'm not the only one." Asta thought in relief.
"So is story time finished?" A voice suddenly asked, causing Asta and Fiona to jump slightly, with Nero gripping tightly with her feet in order not to fall off Asta's hair, and looked in the direction of the voice to see Sophia.
"Captain Sophia." The two said before standing up.
"How are you wounds, Asta?" noticing that the wielder of Rekka is wearing fresh bandages.
"They're still not getting healed." The ash-white hair teen responded in a slight depress tone of voice.
This cause to Sophia to frown slightly.
"I guessed that still is the case. So, we're going to Castle Town to see a have a proper look at those injuries." Sophia said, causing Asta to blink his eyes, becoming curious.
"So this this the fire Mage that Julius been talking about." A man with short grey hair and green eyes, along with wearing glasses, commented as Asta and Sophia entered a circular room.
Right now, the Sword Of Logos Magic Knight and captain have arrived at a circular building that serves as a hospital of some sort.
"Huh?! How do you know the Wizard King on personal terms?!" Asta asked in a shock tone of voice.
"I'm the healer that serves directly under the serves of the Wizard King, Owen." The now known Owen introduce himself.
"My name is Asta, nice to meet you." Asta greeted back.
"I'll be waiting outside as you examine Asta." Sophia said as she turned around and exit the room.
"Now then, have a seat and we'll have a look at you." Owen said as the two of them sat down and his Grimoire open.
"Water Healing Magic: Qualle Operation." Owen said and multiple jellyfishes appeared around the two.
"W-whoa…." Asta said in a stun tone of voice as he looked at the jellyfishes.
"Oh my. Your arms are totally beaten up!" Owen commented in a stunned tone of voice as he examine Asta's arms, the bandages seemingly to have unravelled by themselves.
"My magic works as an X-Ray vision for me on parts it's surround, so I can clearly see what parts need fixing and fix it. I'm going to input the Mana necessary for the surgery…." Owen said before trailing off as he notice something.
"Man! That was a trip!" Finral said as he trudge down the hospital-like building.
The Black Bull spatial Mage was giving a mission of transporting an injured person to the hospital.
"But why couldn't it have been a cute girl rather than a grumpy old man that complained a lot." Finral muttered before sighing.
It was then that he notice someone just up ahead.
"Captain Sophia?" Finral asked as he approach the captain of the Sword Of Logos.
"Hm? Finral? What are you doing here?" Sophia asked, becoming curious at the Black Bull spatial Mage's presence.
"I had a mission of transporting someone to the hospital. But why are you here? Your not injured or anything?" Finral asked, becoming concerned.
"No not me. I brought Asta so that an expert can examine his arms." Sophia explained quickly, having a good idea that Finral may start being too friendly towards her, similar to the last time they saw each other.
"They haven't healed yet?!" Finral asked in a shock tone of voice.
"I'm afraid so…." Sophia said in a disappointed tone of voice.
"Just want sort of spell did Asta got it with?" Finral thought before noticing a water-like substance coming through the doorway.
"Asta's just through there." Sophia said, knowing what is going through Finral's head.
"Asta." Owen's voice came through the doorway and Sophia and Finral perked up and the heaviness within his voice.
The next words that came out of Owen's mouth caused Sophia and Finral to pale whilst Asta widen his eyes.
It's night time and the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights are having their dinner.
However, most of them could tell that something is wrong.
"So….how was the trip to the Castle Town hospital?" Rintaro asked, attempting to break the ice.
"It went well! The healer, Owen, he was friendly and helpful." Asta replied in a bit too cheerful tone of voice.
However, this only caused the others to become more confident that something is wrong whilst Sophia gained a worried expression on her face.
"Who want to go next in asking the question?" Everyone thought at the same time, starting to feel awkward as they watch Asta struggling to eat his dinner.
After a few seconds, Noelle sighed.
"Come here, your not getting anywhere with eating." Noelle said as she stood up and approach Asta.
"H-huh? T-thanks for the offer, but I can-" Asta began to protest but was cut off as Noelle jab a piece of the ash-white hair teen's dinner into his mouth.
"Just shut up and let me help you." Noelle said in a slight strict tone of voice.
"O-okay." Asta said just as Noelle removed the cutlery from his mouth.
"I-I just want to make myself clear and I'm doing this due to your arms being broken. D-don't get any ideas!" Noelle exclaimed, a blush starting to appear on her cheeks.
"What a wholesome scene." Everyone thought, the awkward atmosphere disappearing slightly.
"Hehe. This reminds me of when Char fed Sora as a toddler." Ryo with a smile on her face.
The comment caused the vice-captain of the Sword Of Logos to receive a splash of water from a slightly crimson Noelle.
However, Ryo simply chuckled.
"What exactly is wrong with Asta?" Donna asked as she and the rest of the Magic Knights, plus Fiona yet minus Asta, are gathered in the common room with Sophia.
The wielder of Rekka has decided to go for a midnight stroll, something that the others definitely knew that something is wrong with Asta.
Sophia took a deep breath before speaking.
"…...Asta….his arms may never returned to normal." Sophia finally spoke, causing shock expressions to appear on everyone's faces.
"S….seriously?" Rin asked in a horrified tone of voice.
"Owen, the healer that was examining Asta, said that the magic Vetto caste at Asta caused his bones in his arms to turn into dust." Sophia explained in a sad tone of voice.
Noelle shivered, realizing that she was originally Vetto's target for the spell.
"I knew that getting hit by a demonic Mana-filled spell will have devastating effects, but this….." Tetsuo muttered whilst gritting his teeth.
"Is...is there anyway to heal Asta's wounds?" Rintaro asked, but a part of him doesn't really want to know the answer.
"If the best healer within the Clover Kingdom can't heal Asta's wounds…..then the chances are extremely low." Sophia replied, making Rintaro clench his fists.
"Have you contacted the Black Bulls? They most likely want to hear about this." Ryo asked, attempting to change the subject slightly.
"They most likely know, during out time at the hospital, I ran into Finral who overheard the news, so the Black Bulls will likely already know." Sophia replied, making Ryo nod his his head.
"Asta….." Donna thought sadly.
With Asta, the swordsman of flames have been walking for a while before stopping and sat on the grass.
However, he wasn't along as Nero, Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle are sitting next to him.
"You can no longer wield a sword." The voice of Owen rang through the ash-white hair teen's head as he looked down at Rekka that is resting on his crossed legs.
Somehow, Asta managed to retrieve the sword of flames from the pages of his Grimoire.
Asta's animal companions stared at their master with sad looks in their eyes. The ash-white hair teen took a deep breath before speaking.
"So what if my arms are broken!" Asta suddenly shouted, causing his animal companions to jump with Nero almost falling off Brave Dragon's head.
"I can still use my magic! So I'm not down just yet! Just like what my predecessor said "beyond your resolution is hope"! If you, life, can just throw me away, think again! I'm still going to reach my goal of becoming the Wizard King!" Asta shouted to the winds.
This caused Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle to gain "grins" on their faces and whilst Nero still have her usual annoyed-looking expression on her face, it seemed to have a softer look to it.
It was at that moment that, the red guard of Rekka glowed softly.
"Asta's injuries can't be what?!" Charlotte exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
It's the next day that the Sword Of Logos have been told that Asta's injuries may never get healed and Ryo decided to tell his wife the news.
"The injuries that Asta received from Vetto can't be healed." Ryo said, causing Charlotte to gain a sad expression on her face.
"H...how is Asta doing?" Charlotte asked in a much calmer tone of voice.
"Whilst he doesn't shows it…..Asta's pretty much hurting on the inside…." Ryo explained, making Charlotte nod her head slightly.
"I see…." The captain of the Blue Rose Magic Knights said in a low tone of voice.
"But we have been attempting to find a method of healing Asta's injuries." Ryo said, making Charlotte perk up.
"R-really?" Charlotte asked in a slightly stunned tone of voice.
"Yeah, there should be a form of magic that can heal cursed-inflicted wounds." Ryo explained, making Charlotte nod her head slightly.
"Yes, there must be something…." Charlotte said before something perked at the back of her head.
"Char….." Ryo began to say before trailing off, starting to sound awkward.
"Yes?" Charlotte asked, raising an eye-brow at Ryo's change of behavior.
"I've been wondering if you…..decided to learn more about that woman who cursed you before we met…..?" Ryo asked in an awkward tone of voice.
It took the Blue Rose Magic Knight captain a few seconds to realize what the swordsman of the earth is referring to.
"Are you talking about those sort of people?" Charlotte asked, causing Ryo to nod his head in response.
"They're the only people currently that I think of who can heal Asta's wounds." Ryo said, causing a frown to appear on Charlotte's face.
"You do know that what your suggestion will unlikely work." Charlotte pointed out, causing Ryo to sigh.
"I know, but it's pretty much the only thing I can think of at the moment." Ryo explained, causing Charlotte to nod her head, knowing what her husband is saying is true.
"Nothing!" Noelle said as she slammed a book shut.
Currently, she, Rintaro and Donna are within the Sword Of Logos's library, looking through books that may have some clues on how to heal Asta's injuries.
"We have been going at this for ages, and yet nothing has come up." Donna said as she place her head into her hands.
"There should be sort form of magic that is capable of healing Asta. Maybe not here but in some other libraries." Rintaro pointed out, causing the two girl's to groan.
"I don't want to spend the rest of my life being crammed up in some library reading books…..even if it is for Asta." Donna said, causing Noelle to nod her head in agreement.
This cause Rintaro to chuckle slightly before glancing back at the book he was reading.
However, before he could read any of the text on the page, the doors to the library opened, causing the three Holy sword wielders to look up and saw Fiona coming through the door.
"How is the research going?" Fiona asked, hoping for some good news.
"Nothing I'm afraid." Noelle replied, causing a sad expression on Fiona's face.
"I see. I know that you're all busy, but Captain Sophia is calling everyone." Fiona said, causing the three current Holy Sword wielders to perk up.
"What for?" Donna asked, becoming curious.
"I don't know, but it sounds important." Fiona replied, causing Noelle, Rintaro and Donna to glance at each other.
"So, what's the meeting about?" Asta asked in as he glanced at the others.
Currently, all of the members of the Sword Of Logos are within the meeting room, including Ryo, who has returned from talking with Charlotte, but excluding Rin, who has gone to some unknown location.
"How should we know? We know as much as you do." Rintaro said, causing Asta to gain a slight disappointed expression on his face.
"Everyone." Sophia said, catching everyone's attention.
"I know that some of you are concerned about Asta's injuries, but right now, Mr Dashinji has discovered the location of the final remaining Magic Stone." Sophia said, causing everyone to widen their eyes.
"Where?!" Asta asked in an excited tone of voice.
"Try to keep calm, Bakasta." Noelle responded in a blank tone of voice.
Tetsuo coughed into his hand, drawing Asta's and Noelle's attention back into the meeting.
"The location of the final Magic Stone is within a neutral zone between the Clover and Diamond Kingdoms, also known as the Witch's Forest." Tetsuo explained, showing the people present an image of a location on a map.
"So the forest is populated by female Mages?" Asta asked, glancing towards the others.
"Yes. Female Mages who are capable of using special types of magic." The wielder of Ikazuchi explained, causing Asta to nod his head.
"Why do I have a feeling that Finral would like that place?" Noelle thought in a blank tone of voice.
"However, even if we found the Magic Stone, acquiring it won't be an easy task." Tetsuo said, crossing his arms slightly.
"How come?" Asta asked, gaining a confused expression on his face.
"The witches who live there loathe men and even female Mages are looked down upon by the ruler of the forest, the Witch Queen." Tetsuo responded, causing Asta to gulp slightly.
"So, how are we going to proceed, Captain Sophia?" Rintaro asked, sounding cautious.
"That is a problem. If the existence of the Magic Stone is unknown to the Witch Queen, which will be unlikely, the stone is still considered the property of the Witch's Forest and won't part ways from the stone." Sophia explained, causing Rintaro to frown.
"And I can't see a negotiation with the Witch Queen going well either. What do we have that can equal value to a Magic Stone?" Ryo asked as he crossed his arms.
"Indeed. It is very likely that we just have to leave the Magic Stone within the Witch Queen's possession." Sophia said, causing everyone to widen their eyes.
"S-seriously?! We just going to leave the stone just like that?" Asta asked, causing Sophia to nod her head sadly.
"I'm afraid so. However, it's worth a shot to approach the Witch Queen and warned her that the Eye Of The Midnight Sun and the Megid may come to steal the Magic Stone." Sophia explained, making Asta look down at the ground with a frustrated look on his face.
Nero also seemed to gain a frustrated look on her face.
"Have you contacted the Wizard King about our findings?" Ryo asked, making Sophia shake her head.
"I haven't yet, but I believe that he will want to keep this a quiet as possible from the other Magic Knight Squads." Sophia replied, making Ryo nod his head.
As soon as Sophia contacted the Wizard King, who was in the middle of escaping from his duties, Julius immediately said the get-go, saying for the Sword Of Logos to attempt to contact the Witch Queen.
Right now, Noelle and Donna are flying towards the Witch's Forest, the two female Magic Knights having the most likely chance of being successful.
"I hope that you behave properly in front of the Witch Queen, she most likely act hostile towards us. So there's no need to provoke her any further." Donna explained as she and Noelle flew on the same broom through the air.
"Hmph. There's no need to tell me twice." Noelle said in a confident tone of voice.
However, on the inside, the silver hair girl is terrified of meeting the Witch Queen.
After a long period of travelling, the two Magic Knights of the Sword Of Logos finally found themselves in front of a giant stone wall within the Witch's Forest.
"Is this gate fortified with magic?" Noelle wondered as she stared up at large wooden gate set within the stone wall.
"Do you have any ideas on how to gain the Witch Queen's attention?" Noelle asked as she glanced towards Donna who has a nervous expression on her face.
"…..I believe that the Witch Queen knows of our presence already." Donna responded, causing Noelle to wide her eyes.
"H-how?" Noelle asked, feeling slightly terrified.
"I read somewhere that the Witch Queen possess the ability of Fortune-telling. Plus she has the ability of Mana sensory, covering the entirety of the forest." Donna explained, causing Noelle to gulp slightly.
Taking a deep breath, the wielder of Ikazuchi walked up to the giant wooden and knocked loudly.
Silence filled the air and the two Sword Of Logos Magic Knights waited for some sort of response.
However, none came.
"What now?" Noelle asked, starting to gain the feeling that the mission has ended before it can begin.
Donna was about to open her mouth but was prevented as the wooden doors burst opened and a giant flock of black birds raced out.
"Noelle! Stay close to me!" Donna shouted as she drew Ikazuchi from her Grimoire.
Noelle did the same with Argent-Couronne and the two female Magic Knights step closer to each, going back-to-back, eyeing the black birds in case this is some form of attack.
However, both Noelle and Donna felt themselves moving thanks to the black birds and after a few seconds, time seemed to have changed for the two female Magic Knights for some reason, the black birds suddenly disperse.
Noelle and Donna blinked their eyes as they saw that they are now standing in room.
"H-how?!" Noelle thought in a shock tone of voice as she obverse her new surrounds.
"I was originally planning on ignoring your presence. But I became curious as to why the Sword Of Logos, whose roots goes back two thousand years would come to the Witch's Forest." A voice suddenly said, causing the two female Magic Knights to tense up and turn around towards the direction of the voice.
Standing on a platform, looking down at them on a stone throne, is a woman wearing a green dress that has some black mixed in with it, including red marking on the wide skirt-like piece. A large hat is also present on the woman's short pink hair that include black feathers.
The large amount of Mana told the Magic Knights who the woman standing above them is.
"Thank you for giving us an audience with you, Witch Queen." Donna said in a tense tone of voice as she bowed and placing Ikazuchi back into the pages of her Grimoire and after a few seconds, Noelle did the same.
"So, why did came to the home of the Witches?" The Witch Queen asked in a cold tone of voice as she stared down at the two Magic Knights with blue eyes, that have three blue tear-like marking underneath them.
Donna took a deep breath, collecting herself before speaking.
"I'm not sure how much you are aware of the on goings in the Clover Kingdom, but as of this moment, the kingdom is facing a threat in the form of a terrorist group called the Eye Of The Midnight Sun. We don't know their end game, but as of right now, this terrorist group are collecting these Magic Stones that, according to intel we received from some prisoners, that they want these stones in order to transform into their true form, which has close ties with the Mana. Therefore, the Magic Knights have been giving the mission of collecting the remaining Magic Stones." Donna explained, in a calm tone of voice.
"And I'm assuming that you Clover people have located a Magic Stone within this area?" The Witch Queen asked, making Donna to nod her head.
"That's correct. Only the Sword Of Logos and the Wizard King are aware of this fact." Donna replied, making the Witch Queen nod her head slightly, being thankful that she won't have the entire body of Magic Knights making their way to the Witch Forest if she does something to the two Magic Knights.
"I hope that you two, plus your squad and the Wizard King, are aware that if this Magic Stone isn't in my possession, it's still the property of the Witches." The Witch Queen pointed out, making Donna nod her head.
"We are aware of this fact and we won't take the Magic Stone by force if you intend on keeping a close hold on it. But it was still worth warning you about the approaching threat of the Eye Of The Midnight Sun." Donna responded, making a small frown to appear on the Witch Queen's face, causing both the wielder of Ikazuchi and the wielder of Argent-Couronne to become tense, thinking that they may have anger her.
"Whilst the gesture is thoughtful, I think it's best if you don't look down on me, the mother of all witches." The Witch Queen said, a tint of danger appearing in her voice.
"W-we didn't mean to insult you in anyway! I apologize if I appeared rude." Donna said before bowing quickly.
The Witch Queen stared at Donna for a few seconds before glancing towards Noelle, causing the silver hair girl to tense up.
"When you two encounter my birds and draw out your swords, I recognized the sword of lighting, but that Holy Sword of yours in completely new to me." The Witch Queen explained, causing Noelle to gulp slightly.
"The Holy Sword that I wield is called Argent-Couronne, which I use to transform into Kamen Rider Joyeues, the swords-woman of steel." Noelle explained, instinctively taking out Argent-Couronne from the pages of her Grimoire.
This caused Donna to widen her eyes in shock and became frightened at what reaction the Witch Queen will have.
However, the Witch Queen seemed to perk up at the sight of Argent-Couronne.
"So the Sword Of Logos have forged a new Holy Sword in the current era." The Witch Queen commented as she continued to examine the sword of steel.
"Not exactly, I'm the one who created Argent-Couronne through my magic." Noelle explained, causing the Witch Queen to widen her eyes slightly.
"Interesting…..It's just the shame that you wield an imperfect power in conjunction with that self-made Holy Sword." The Witch Queen said, causing Noelle and Donna to widen their eyes.
"I-imperfect power?!" Donna said in a shock tone of voice, not understanding what the Witch Queen is referring to.
"I hate things that are imperfect. That include the Great Grimoire that is responsible for the creation of this world and the other. It may have been a powerful object two thousands ago, but now it's just an empty book with it's pages scattered across the two worlds." The Witch Queen explained, causing Donna and Noelle to grit there teeth.
"Is she implying that the every Holy Sword wielders are imperfect?" Noelle thought, trying to keep calm.
It was then that the Witch Queen perked up slightly, having felt a new Mana entering the Witch's Forest.
"It's her…." The Witch Queen thought as she recognize the Mana.
"Is….there something wrong?" Donna asked, noticing the Witch Queen's odd action.
"…..Speaking of imperfection, someone of that status is approaching us right now." The Witch Queen responded, causing both Donna and Noelle to become confuse just as the Witch Queen raised her hands, making a blue sphere appear in between them.
"What's she doing?" Noelle whispered to Donna.
"I have no idea." Donna responded back.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!" A voice suddenly yelled from the sphere, causing both swords-women to jump in fright.
"The greatest genius since the founding of the witch's kingdom has returned! I have some business to take care of, so open up!" The voice shouted through the sphere and the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights recognized the voice.
"Is that Vanessa?! What is she doing here?" Donna thought in shock.
"What does she mean by the "greatest genius"? Please don't tell me that Vanessa is drunk. That's the last thing that we want." Noelle thought, sweat-dropping at the thought of a drunk Vanessa talking to the Witch Queen.
With the Witch Queen, she didn't seem to flinch at Vanessa's loud voice and just sighed.
"I might as well give her an audience." The Witch Queen said before ordering her black birds, that have been resting on leafless tree behind her, to collect Vanessa.
Noelle and Donna watched as the flock of black birds left the room.
"You don't mind if I'd invited someone else, I presume." The Witch Queen said as she stare down at the two Sword Of Logos Magic Knights.
"Of course not! This is your home after all." Donna responded quickly, fully knowing that anything she said will be completely meaningless in front of the Witch Queen.
A few minutes, the flock of black birds returned and disperse, revealing Vanessa.
"So, after all this time, you finally returned." The Witch Queen commented as she look down at Vanessa.
"Huh? Is Vanessa a witch who use to live here?" Noelle thought as she look at Vanessa with a surprise expression on her face.
"Vanessa. Since you left our village, my perfect plan has fallen way short of what it should have been. If you strengthened your thread magic like I told you to, you be able to control even fate. But you ignore me and fell for that man's glip tongue. You left for a man, a normal human at that." The Witch Queen said and the Mages in front of her notice how her hands are shaking slightly.
"A perfect witch like you...Don't you feel ashamed of being used like that!?" The Witch Queen shouted in anger, releasing a wave of magic that caused the stone wall at the back of the throne room to be destroyed.
"Oh god, the Witch Queen is angry." Noelle thought as she glanced outside the broken wall and saw a village built into the trees of the forest with large branches acting as pathways.
The silver hair girl felt Donna grabbing her by her shoulders and moving her back in case the Witch Queen does anything else.
"Listen, I've come back for one thing, and only one thing. I want to teach me how dispel ancient curses." Vanessa said in a confident tone of voice, not effected by the Witch Queen's outburst.
"Why does she mean by that?" Noelle and Donna thought at the same whilst glancing at each other, knowing what the other is thinking.
With the Witch Queen, a brief look of confusion to appear on her face.
"You turn away from awaking the full potential of your thread magic, only to come back in order to learn a different skill. You're lacking in having a clear path. But why though?" The Witch Queen asked, deciding to hear Vanessa's reason.
"I have a friend within the Sword Of Logos Magic Knight squad whose arms are damaged due to a curse. You are capable of reversing that sort of damage." Vanessa said, still in a confident tone of voice.
This cause the Witch Queen's eyes to perk up slightly before glancing towards Noelle and Donna.
This in turn cause the Black Bull thread Mage to follow the Witch Queen's gaze and become shock.
"Noelle?! Donna?! What are you two doing here?!" Vanessa asked as she stared at the two female Sword Of Logos Magic Knights.
"We're on a mission. We discovered the location of the last remaining Magic Stone and…." Donna explained before trailing off, knowing that Vanessa can connect the dots.
The wielder of Ikazuchi was on the mark as Vanessa's eyes widened.
"Seriously?" Vanessa asked, making both Donna and Noelle to nod their heads.
"Who is this person in question?" The Witch Queen asked, deciding to turn the conversation back to the main topic.
"His name is Asta, also known as Kamen Rider Saber, the swordsman of flames." Vanessa responded, causing a flicker of displeasure to appear in the Witch Queen's eyes.
"Is the Witch Queen capable of healing Asta's injuries?" Noelle whispered to Donna, becoming confuse.
"It would seem so. Witches are well known for wielding uncommon magic after all, so it is possible that the Witch Queen is capable of healing Asta's injuries." Donna whispered back, a small frown being present on her face.
"Do you think that is possible for us to persuade the Witch Queen to heal Asta?" Noelle asked, feeling hopeful.
"No. I think we should leave the persuading to Vanessa." Donna responded, although feeling worried as to what Vanessa may do in order to learn curse dispelling magic from the Witch Queen.
"Hm? It seems that those two aren't aware that I can heal cursed inflicted wounds, or not even attempt to ask, thinking I will refuse, especially for a male. But the sword of flames….." The Witch Queen thought as she briefly glanced towards the two Sword Of Logos Magic Knights.
It was that a something pinged within the Witch Queen's head, causing her to re-summon the ball that she used before to see Vanessa.
The three female Magic Knights became confuse at the Witch Queen's actions as she observe the blue sphere.
"I didn't expect them to come so soon." The Witch Queen commented with a small frown on her face.
"What's happening? Are unknown people approaching the forest…..?" Donna asked, being brave to ask the question.
The Witch Queen stare at Donna for a few seconds before speaking.
"It would seemed that there are people approaching the forest with unfriendly intent from the east." The Witch Queen responded, causing a confuse expression to appear on Donna's face for a few seconds before her eyes widening.
"Why is the Diamond Kingdom heading this way?!" Donna exclaimed, causing both Noelle and Vanessa to widen their eyes.
"Do you think that they are aware of the Magic Stone's existence and discovered that one is here?" Noelle asked, starting to become worried.
"Erh! I hope not. I rather not want to think about an upcoming three-way battle between the Clover Kingdom, Diamond Kingdom and the Eye Of The Midnight Sun." Donna responded, gritting her teeth slightly.
With Vanessa, the Black Bull thread Mage clench her hands as she made her choice.
At some distance away from the Witch's Forest, a large group of Mage Warriors from the Diamond Kingdom flew through the air.
"Hmmm. I'm looking forward to this." Spoke a Mage Warrior with blond hair and red eyes with a wide grin on his face.
Flying next to him is Mars with a calm expression on his face.
And there we go, the team finding out that Asta's cursed wounds can't be healed by normal means and attempted to find a cure before discovering the location of the final Magic Stone. We also learn about Fiona's backstory and a hint of a new Holy Sword wielder. Does anyone want to guess on what element they wield? So I decided to write the scene where Noelle actually fed Asta instead of blasting him with water...but Ryo was the one getting blasted with water instead. I originally planned on making this chapter two separate chapters but since it's one day before Christmas, I might as well make this chapter bigger.
In Black Clover, it looks like the the efforts of stopping the coming of Lucifero has failed as he managed to appear into the human world...even though it is stated that it's only half complete. Another revilement is that a new supreme Devil from the second level has appeared. It looks like that Lucifero is directly targeting Asta and I wonder if Liebe will attempt to remind him of the events involving Ricita...which could lead to the highest-ranking Devil commenting on Asta's resemblance to her.
So in Revice, it is revealed that 5 Giftexs are required to supply the power for the ritual to resurrect Giff whilst Aguilera is the sole sacrifice, a untainted by evil vassal for Giff, in conjunction with the Giff Vistamp. But the Riders and Fenix managed to locate the base of the Deadmens, by Revi and Jeanne beating up Live in order to speak to Kagero, and managed to stop the revival of Giff with Jeanne using the Turtle Genome and Demons using the Scorpion Genomix along with Revi using all ten Remix forms to destroy the base which is revealed that it can fly. The next upgrade for Revice will be Revi transforming into the fire-based Volcano Rex Genome, I believe that's the name, whilst Vice gains the Braid Rex Genome. Whilst it is interesting about the fire-based form, I'm not sure about Vice simply gaining a pre-existing form, even though it is his first power up form.
It is also revealed in "Beyond Generations" that a few members of the Saber and Revice team will transform into multiple Riders. The list include:
Touma transforming into Ichigo, Super-1 and Accel.
Rintaro transforming into ZO, Kuuga and Blade.
Yuri transforming into Agito, Ex-Aid and Zero-One
Vice transforming into RX Fourze and Woz.
Daiji transforming into Knight, Meteor and Ryugen
Sakura transforming into Nadeshiko, Poppy and Valkyrie.
Other Riders appearing are Ichigo, Shocker Riders No.1 and No.2, Ouja, Eternal, Sorcerer, Duke, 4 and Barlckxs.
Information on the villains for "Beyond Generation" have been revealed, being called the Crispers who are seemingly based on Kamen Rider Ghost's Parka Ghosts, Himiko, Khufu, Edison and Leoidas. Another villain is called Diablo.
Okay, I know that I don't speak about Super Sentai, but images for the 46th team have appeared, Avataro Sentai DonBrothers, being based on the legends of Monotaro. It is stated that it will be a sequel to Zenkaigers, with Zenkaizer and Zenkai Juran appearing and the team using Sentai Gears, the name being Avataro Gears. It is also written that the pink ranger will be male instead of being female and the rangers being portrayed through CG.
I wonder if the next Kamen Rider series will be a sequel to Revice since the series is a anniversary as well.
Please review and have a merry Christmas.
MahNemIzJay: No, Liebe and the five leaf Grimoire won't be major part of the story.
TheOkWriter: Okay...that actually hurts, but thanks for pointing these things out to me.
Kamen Rider Yokai:
1) So...You're going to ignore the drill-bladed sword?
2) Thanks for the info and the possibility of a dark version of Revice? That could happen.
Dragon Rider 66:
1) Yeah, the chameleon-themed Wonder-Ride book works well with Kenzan and you'll find about the drill-bladed sword soon enough.
2) Well, it looks like that all three stories lead to the destruction of the Deadman's base. You know, if the Ichigo figure was in a concealed box instead, I can see the other generals giving the Chameleon Deadman questioning looks.
3) Thanks for the possible idea for Liebe and thanks for explaining about the 30 minutes part.
4) Rin will certainly be having the time of her life during the battle against Yuno in his Spirit Dive form.
5) The company that makes that glue will find it's sales sky-rocketing and Yeah, I can see Demons gaining access to multiple Genomixs through force of will.
6) Well, I guess that it's just a question of time for the situation between the two brothers and the two captains.
7) Now that we discover that Aguilera is a vassal designed to host Giff, it is possible that "she" may become the strongest dark Kamen Rider for the series.
Itspowertime:
1) You're welcome.
2) I haven't thought about the actual Diamond Kingdom's informant rather than just ordinary Mage Warriors.
3) Thanks about the Langris conversations and the relationship part...I'm not sure set.
4) Slash will be appearing some time after the events of the Witch's Forest.
5) Happy holidays to you as well.
