Extra players entering the battle
"Seriously guys. We are we heading?" Asta asked in a nervous tone of voice as he, Nero, Rin, Fanzell, Dominante and Mariella continue to fly through the air.
"Don't become stress, Asta. Everything will be fine in the end." Rin responded in a reassured tone of voice.
"I am stressing out!" Asta exclaimed, causing Rin to start laughing.
"I see that you still have your enthusiasm despite your injuries." Fanzell said with a smile on his face.
"So what you three been up to?" Asta asked, turning his attention towards the three Diamond Kingdom fugitives, seeing that any attempts to get an answer out of the wielder of Hayata is hopeless.
"Pretty much living a quiet life. We managed to find an abandoned house to live in." Fazell responded simply.
"You mean a decaying house! How do you expect a lady like me to in a place like that?!" Dominante exclaimed as her husband.
"It was the only thing available us …." Fanzell said in a sheepish tone of voice.
"I see that they still have that sort of relationship." Asta commented whilst sweat-dropping, remembering how Dominante punched the living daylights out of Fanzell when they reunited back at the black market.
"Despite this sort of interaction between the two, they still love each other." Mariella responded, making the wielder of Rekka to nod his head slightly.
"...Even if some of those moments caused damage to the house." Mariella added, causing Asta to sweat-drop again.
It was then that Dominante perked up when she noticed something in the distance.
"There's our destination, the Witch's Forest." Dominante announced, causing Rin, Fanzell and Marielle to perk up as well.
However, Asta and Nero widened their eyes in shock.
"Seriously?! We're heading there?!" Asta exclaimed as he looked over Rin's shoulder and saw a forest in the distance.
"Yep. The Witch Queen who lives there can probably heal those wounds of yours, Asta. The Witch's Forest also happens to be my home town." Dominante explained, making Asta further shock.
"S-seriously. The witches are capable of doing that?" Asta asked, making Dominante nod his head.
"Wow. You actually know a bit about where we're heading this time." Rin teased, making a tick-mark appeared on Asta's forehead.
"Just be glad I can't use my arms to fly, otherwise I would knock you off." Asta whispered into Rin's ear.
However, the wielder of Hayate simply laughed in response.
"By the way, Noelle and Donna are also at the Witch's Forest." Asta said, continuing to whisper in Rin's ear.
"R-really? What are they doing there. Are they trying to persuade the Witch Queen to heal your injuries as well?" Rin asked in a surprised tone of voice.
"No. Mr Daishinji managed to locate the final remaining Magic Stone within the Witch's Forest. We don't know if its hidden within the forest or it's already in the Witch Queen's possession." Asta replied, making Rin widen her eyes.
It was then that an idea appeared in Rin's head.
"You know, if you're this close to me and whispering in my ear, then others would gain the wrong idea, especially Noelle." The wielder of Hayate explained, causing Asta to start blushing.
"What does Noelle have to do with this?" Asta asked, becoming confuse.
This cause Rin to glance over her shoulder with a look of sympathy on her face.
"You really have no idea what Noelle will do to you." Rin said, causing Asta to become more confuse.
"All right! The Witch Queen is capable of sensing all sorts of Mana from within the forest, so if you used your magic, she will know immediately." Dominante began to explain as she stop flying and turned her attention to the others.
"What happens if she sense us?" Asta asked, becoming serious.
"You'll be swiss cheese." Dominante responded simply.
"Wow. She really knows how to reassure people for a dangerous mission." Rin thought, sweat-dropping this time.
"That's why…." Dominante begin to say as she took something out of her bag.
"We need to wear these cloaks! They have the ability to conceal your Mana and presence! Currently on sale for 300 Yul! But given the situation we're facing right now, I'll drop the price to a measly 100 Yul!" Dominante said as she present a cloak.
"…...Rin, you have any money on you?" Asta asked, turning his attention onto the wielder of Hayate.
"Why me?!" Rin asked in a shock tone of voice.
"You four basically kidnapped me Nero, and I wasn't even planning on going to the market." Asta pointed out, with Nero nodding her head in agreement.
"….Fine." Rin grumbled slightly as she began to take out her purse.
"Just kidding! They're free of charge. I know a secret passageway we can use." Dominante explained in a cheerful tone of voice.
"You were trying to get a profit out of this, weren't you!?" Rin exclaimed, causing a cheeky smile to appear on Dominante's face in response.
"There's something happening above the forest." Mariella pointed out, her eyes narrowing as she notice flashes of light above the trees.
"Hm? Oh yeah! I can see the lights! Are the witches having a festival or something?" Rin asked, glancing towards Dominante.
"Sometimes they do, but nothing on this scale." Dominante responded with a frown on her face.
"Why do I have a feeling that something bad is happening?" Fanzell asked, sounding serious.
"Come on. We better move and see what's the commotion is about." Dominante said before speeding towards the Witch's Forest.
"You better hold on tight with your legs, Asta. You as well, Nero." Rin said before starting to move herself.
After a minute of flying at the very least, the group of six got close enough to the Witch's Forest to have a proper look at what is going on.
"The Witch's Forest is getting attacked!?" Asta exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"By who though?" Rin asked as she scan the battle that is happening within the skies.
"Hang on a minute." Mariella said before placing a hand within her cloak and took out a small telescope and placed it in front of her eyes.
After a few seconds of observing the battle, Mariella's eyes widened.
"Its the Diamond Kingdom forces!" Mariella reported in a shock tone of voice.
Her shock was shared with everyone else.
"The Diamond Kingdom?! What are they doing here?!" Asta asked as he glanced towards the Diamond Kingdom refugees.
"Good question. I hope that it isn't for gaining new resources….." Fanzell commented with a frown on his face, trying to think of any times that the higher ups have consider invading the Witch's Forest.
"…..There's a change of plans, we need to help defend the Witch's Forest." Dominante said, causing everyone to stare at her.
"Are your sure?" Fanzell asked in a concerned tone of voice.
"I may have left the Witch's Forest, but this is still my home town." Dominante responded, her hands tightening around her broom, before looking over towards Asta.
"I'm sorry, Asta. But your wounds will have to wait." Dominante said, causing Asta to nod his head.
"Sure. Noelle and Donna are most likely fighting as well. We need to help them." Asta explained, making Dominante to nod her head.
"And how exactly are you going fight?" Rin asked, inwardly becoming concerned.
"I may can't wield Rekka, but I can still use my magic and Wonder-Ride books." Asta responded, causing Rin to nod her head, knowing what Asta meant by using the Wonder-Ride books.
"Let's enter into the trees so that we can launch a surprised attack from below." Dominante said, causing everyone to nod their heads.
"So this is the Witch's Forest, hm?" Desast commented as he observe the great expanse of trees that makes up the Witch's Forest.
"Yes, the home of the female Mages that wield exceptional magic. Hehehe, those girls will make excellent slaves." A male who has green hair and is wearing the Eye Of The Midnight Sun's robes responded with a creepy smile on his face.
"Why exactly are you here?" Desast questioned the Mage known as Shidan, sweat-dropping.
"Desast. It's time." A female voice spoke, causing the skull-faced swordsman to turn his attention towards Fana who is riding a much larger Salamander.
"Why are you telling me what to do? You're not my-huh?" Desast began to say but was cut off as he and the rest of the Eye Of The Midnight Sun's forces notice the pre-existing battle that is already happening.
"Oh? It seems that others may have the same goal as us." The Mage commented with an interested look on his face.
"…..It doesn't matter. I'll destroy everything. Desast." Fana said with an emotionless face.
"Okay, okay. I hear you." Desast said as he took out a blank Alter-Ride book and opened it.
"Maybe I should use a different Wonder-Ride book." Joyeues thought as she block an attack from the crystal-made Laevateinn.
However, before the swords-woman of steel can take the "Legend Of Leviathan" Wonder-Ride book, she and the rest of those who are within the Witch's Forest felt a shift in reality.
"T-this feeling!" Espada thought as she stopped attacking the real Laevateinn and looked up.
"Why have you stopped attacking?" Laevateinn asked, becoming confuse and cautious, before deciding to look up and his eyes widened as he saw that the sky has changed.
"Is this your doing?" Laevateinn asked in a dangerous tone of voice as he point Seiers Krystall at the swords-woman of lighting.
"Of course not! This is caused by the Eye Of The Midnight Sun and the Megid. This is such a bad timing." Espada responded, saying the last part to herself.
"What should we do?" Joyeues asked, turning her attention towards Espada.
"Well, we possibly need to focus on the Eye Of The Midnight Sun and the Megid first and then…." Espada began to respond before trailing off, not sure what to say next.
"What about him?" Joyeues asked, pointing towards the swordsman of crystals.
Espada frowned as she stare at Laevateinn.
However, before the swords-woman of lighting can come to decision, a large ball of fire suddenly struck the Witch's Forest, setting it on fire.
"I will burn everything to the ground in order for Licht's goals to become reality." Fana said as she stare at the destruction she caused.
"Hahaha. This certainly the grand powers of the great sprite of fire. Now! Move out." Shidan ordered, causing the Eye Of The Midnight Sun to speed forwards.
"The Eye Of The Midnight Sun sure like to do things to the extreme….?" Desast thought before smelling some scents that he fully well know.
"Ohohoho. It looks like this trip won't be boring after all." Desast commented with a "smirk" on his face as he took out an another Alter-Ride book that has has the title of "Fiery Salamander".
"No! Don't attack our home!" A witch shouted as she began to attack a member of the Eye Of The Midnight Sun.
However, she and some other witch's got captured by Shidan.
"Hahahaha! I got my hands on some good slaves! I'm looking forward to tonight's fun." Shidan said with a perverted grim on his face as he held the prisoners through vines that are coming out of his hands.
Unfortunately for Shidan, something green blurred past him and cut the vines.
"Quick! Get out of here!" Kenzan called to the now freed witches.
"Thanks!" One of the witches called before she and her friends sped away.
"Oh? I didn't realize that the Sword Of Logos are already here." Shidan commented before examining Kenzan.
"Hehehehe. I wonder what sort of body you have underneath that armor?" Shidan wondered, the perverted grin reappearing on his face.
"What a creep." Kenzan thought, shivering in disgust.
"Maybe I should capture you first. It would make things more easy for me to gain more slaves without someone interfering." Shidan said before firing vines out of his sleeves.
With some quick maneuvering on her broom, which involved her standing on the broom rather than sitting on it, the swords-woman of the winds managed to dodge the incoming vines along with cutting them with the Hayate in it's twin blade form.
"You're certainly hard to catch, but that just make capturing you the more fun." Shidan said, licking his lips.
"Why don't you drop dead already!" Kenzan exclaimed before pressing down on the open "page" of her personal Wonder-Ride book.
Sarutobi Ninjaden!
The Wonder-Ride book announced and a spinning shuriken came out of the "page".
This caused a surprised expression to appear on Shidan's face just as the newly appeared shuriken flew straight towards him.
However, the Eye Of The Midnight Sun vine Mage quickly created a sphere make out of vines, protecting him.
Unfortunately for Shidan, the shuriken easily cut through the vines, but started to dip downwards.
"That shuriken of yours is pretty sharp, but I can easily repair my-!" Shidan began to explain but stop when Kenzan throw the shuriken-formed Hayate at him.
However, the shuriken completely missed him.
"Hah! Where were you aiming!? Did the smoke caused you to loose your focus?" Shidan said before laughing.
"…..No. my eyesight is perfectly fine." Kenzan spoke, causing Shidan to blinked his eyes before glancing over his shoulder just in time to see Hayate striking the Sarutobi Ninjaden's shuriken, causing it to head straight back towards Shidan who eyes widened as he realized that the shuriken is spinning much faster.
"W-was this her plan all along?!" Shidan exclaimed in his head as he quickly produce more vines to protect him.
However, Sarutobi Ninjaden's shuriken shredded through the vines and struck him this time.
"And now for the finishing blow!" Kenzan exclaimed before suddenly launching off her broom and aimed a kick right at Shidan's head, causing the Sun Of The Midnight Sun's vine Mage to fall off his broom and drop down straight towards the forest floor.
"Hmph! Serves you right, pervert!" Kenzan called as she caught the shuriken-formed Hayate and landed on her broom, although she knew that Shidan won't be able to hear her.
"Now to deal with the other enemies. But who to choose….." Kenzan muttered to herself as she tilt her head to the side, trying to come to a decision.
However, it was at that moment that the swords-woman of the winds sensed something quickly approaching her, causing Kenzan to spin around…..just in time to receive a kick to the stomach.
"AAAA!" Kenzan exclaimed as she and the attacker head straight towards the forest floor.
"Wind Creation Magic: Wind Ninja's Air Walk!" Kenzan shouted, creating a series of platforms in order to slow her descent.
Luckily, the wind-created platforms managed to slow her descent, but it still caused the swords-woman of the wind pain when she and the attacker finally crashed onto the forest floor.
"Owe…." Kenzan groaned as she lay on the cracked ground.
"Oh? So your still alive?" A voice commented, causing Kenzan to quickly become alert and attempted to attack her attacker.
However, Desast was quick enough to dodge the twin blades of Hayate.
With some difficulty, Kenzan managed to get onto her feet.
"Who are you?!" Kenzan demanded as she got into a fighting stance.
"Really? I thought the other Holy Sword wielders would have told you who I am." Desast spoke, causing a confused expression to appear underneath Kenzan's helmet for a few seconds before her eyes widened.
"You're Desast!" Kenzan exclaimed, causing the skull-faced swordsman to nod his head.
"Yep. That's me. So I guess that the Sword Of Logos have managed to locate the final Magic Stone, but failed to properly collect it." Desast mused before chuckling slightly.
This caused Kenzan to gain a frown underneath her helmet.
"So now that it's completely chaotic on the battlefield, lets have some fun." Desast said a "grin" appearing on his face.
"And you chose me?" Kenzan asked as she became tense, preparing herself in case Desast suddenly attack.
"Of course. Your a strong Holy Sword wielder, aren't you." Desast responded, causing the swords-woman of the wind to twitch slightly, her fighting spirit becoming restless.
"Hehehehe. You certainly know how to make people to your tune!" Kenzan exclaimed before launching herself at Desast, the twin blades of Hayate at the ready.
Desast blocked one of the incoming blades before knocking it to the side.
The skull-faced swordsman then swing his own sword in a backslash, but it only ended up getting blocked by the other blade of Hayate.
Kenzan jumped back just her Grimoire opened.
"Wind Creation Magic: Wind Ninja's Air Force!" Kenzan shouted, causing a strong gust of wind to suddenly appear.
This caused Desast to stab his sword into the ground in order to prevent himself from getting blown back.
Taking advantage of the skull-faced swordsman's position, Kenzan ran forwards, using her own spell to increase her speed.
"Huh?" Desast said as he looked up just in time to see Kenzan's boot heading straight towards his head.
"Gah!" Kenzan grunted as he was sent flying backwards into the bushes.
"Heh. First hit to me." Kenzan said with a grin underneath her helmet just as her wind died.
However, it was at that moment that slashes of Mana suddenly sped out of the bushes.
"Whoa!" Kenzan exclaimed as she block and dodge the attacks. It was at that moment that Desast burst from out of the bushes, sword at the ready.
The swords-woman of the wind raised the twin blades of Hayate in a crossed position to block the vertical slash that Desast threw at her.
"Hehehehe. Nice, very nice." Desast commented with a "grin" being present on his face.
Kenzan's eyes widened slightly as she saw a dark colored Mana surrounding Desast's sword, but couldn't do anything as Desast released his attack, causing the swords-woman of the wind to be sent skidding backwards before managing to throw the attack away from her.
"That was something." Kenzan thought as she saw the same Mana starting to surround Desast's whole body.
"Lets get more serious, shall we?" Desast asked before suddenly launching towards Kenzan at a high speed.
"I hope that I can survive this…." The swords-woman of the wind thought just as Desast began his assault.
Somehow, Kenzan managed to block the barrage of attacks, receiving a few scratches in places.
"And for the final hit." Desast thought before launching a kick straight into Kenzan's guts, causing the swords-woman of the wind to be sent flying backwards before crashing onto the ground.
"Is this all you got? I hope not, otherwise this will get boring real quickly." Desast asked in a mocking manner just as Kenzan slowly got herself off the ground.
"Nope. I have something that will make this battle more interesting." Kenzan responded before transforming Hayate into it's single form and remove "Sarutobi Ninjaden" from the slot.
This caused Desast to become curious just as the swords-woman of the wind took out a green bordered Wonder-Ride book that has an image of a Gaurda underneath the title of "Heavenly Garuda".
"So you have a Wonder-Ride book up your sleeve, huh." Desast commented in an interesting tone of voice as he watch Kenzan open the cover of the new Wonder-Ride book.
"There once was a legendary bird that carried a god…."
The Wonder-Ride book announced before Kenzan closed the cover and placed it within the slot, causing the standby sound to start playing.
After a few seconds, Kenzan split the blades.
Heavenly Garuda!
Split the twin blades!
First tactic: Shuriken!
Second Tactic: Two bladed way!
Hayate, the sword of Zephyrs!
The sword announced just the larger version of "Heavenly Garuda" burst open, making a green mechanical Gaurda appear out of the pages before merging with the swords-woman of the wind. Kenzan's right arm is now clad in green armor that has a human's face, with bird features mixed in, as a shoulder guard along with a scarf that has a feather-like design. The right side of Kenzan's helmet has gained a wing-like piece.
"Now, I hope you're ready for round two!" Kenzan exclaimed before lunging towards Desast.
The skull-faced swordsman swing his sword in a horizontal slash, but Kenzan jumped over the attack.
Whilst in the air, the eyes of the bird-like shoulder guard glowed and the scarf struck Desast.
"What!?" Desast exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as he stumbled from the attack.
"Hehehe. This Wonder-Ride book gave me another weapon to use." Kenzan commented just as the scarf moved around on it's own accord.
"Don't get cocky now." Desast pointed out before attacking Kenzan again. However, with an extra weapon at her disposal, Kenzan has an easier time deflecting Desast's attacks.
"Come on, come on! Make this more thrilling for me!" The skull-faced swordsman exclaimed, starting to feel bored with the repeated actions.
"Really? You want something different?" Kenzan asked as she deflected one of Desast's sword strikes before throwing her scarf at Desast.
"Hm?" Desast became confuse as the scarf wrapped around his waist, along with trapping his arms.
Before the skull-faced swordsman can say anything, Kenzan suddenly jerked back, causing Desast to stumble forwards.
"Wind Creation Magic: Wind Ninja's Air Slash!" Kenzan shouted before swinging the twin blades of Hayata.
This caused Desast to be hit by multiple air slashes at point blank range.
"Ghe!" Desast exclaimed as the attacks hit him, but couldn't escape due to the scarf.
With a final flick of her scarf, Kenzan released Desast, making the skull-faced swordsman to wince.
"That scarf….sure is sharp." Desast commented, realizing that the scarf seems to made something like sharp wires just as Kenzan hopped back a few spaces.
"Hehehe. Thanks." Kenzan said, sticking out her tongue.
"That wasn't a compliment!" Desast shouted in annoyance.
"But I think it's time to finish this battle. There's more important things I must so." Kenzan said as she removed "Heavenly Garuda" and placed it within the second slot.
Heavenly Gaurda!
Nin-Nin!
The sword announced, causing the finishing standby sound to start playing.
"It looks like we're on the same page." Desast said as he began to cover himself in the dark coloured Mana, but more intense than previously.
With Kenzan, the swords-woman of the wind pressed the trigger on the main blade of Hayata.
Hayate: Skimming Strike!
Nin-Nin!
Hayate announced, causing the scarf to start glowing.
With Desast, the Mana that has been building up has starting to be transferred into his sword.
"Garuda's fury/Calamity strike." Kenzan and Desast announced at the same time before charging towards each other.
The first to began their attack was Desast, but the quickest out of the two was Kenzan whose scarf threw a barrage of pin-point attacks at the skull-faced swordsman.
The final attack caused Desast to be sent flying into the trees.
Kenzan took a few deep breathes before speaking.
"Man! That was a close one." Kenzan commented as she glanced at her right arm which was smoking due to energy attack of Desast's "Calamity strike" just grazing her.
Kenzan glanced behind her to see the rest of the damaged that Desast's attack also caused.
However, the swords-woman of the wind quickly turned towards Desast's landing spot and became confuse as she couldn't sensed his Ki.
"Did…..he ran away….?" Kenzan thought, frowning slightly whilst becoming tense at the thought that the skull-faced swordsman may be hiding and attempt a surprise attack.
"Wow! Things sure are heating up!" Landros exclaimed with a wide smile on his face.
At first, the Shining General was surprised at the appearance of the Eye Of the Midnight Sun, but became excited at the chaos that is happening due to the flames.
With Vanessa, the Black Bull's thread Mage simply had a look of horror on her face.
"Just…..what is happening?" Vanessa questioned herself as she stared at the burning forest that once was her home.
"Now. I think it's time we finish this battle. I have better things to do rather than playing with some witch." Ladros said as he prepare an attack for Vanessa.
However, before the Shining General can attack Vanessa, something came crashing into him, causing Ladros to fall for a second time.
"Hah! How do you like that for a surprise attack!?" Asta exclaimed whilst riding Storm Eagle.
And there we go, the Eye Of The Midnight Sun, along with Desast, making their appearance within the arc and Asta, Rin, Fanzell, Dominante and Mariella joining in on the battle. This chapter also revealed Rin's using a new Wonder-Ride book in her fight against Desast and a cameo appearance of a Alter-Ride book.

Dragon Rider 66:
1) I have a few ideas about what to do with Mars in the future.
2) It will a wonder what happens to Bell if Lucifero does steal Yuno's Grimoire. Rin becoming the next wielder of Bell's powers...she will be like a kid getting her favorite present for Christmas.
3) Genta Igarashi being the true vassal for Giff? That could be a possibility since George discovered that the statue of Giff is producing a sound similar to a heartbeat. I bet that Sento will be annoyed at the fact that the "his" Vistamp is based on a Kangaroo rather than a rabbit.
4) I guess that Asta will be frustrated at Lucifero's retreat whilst Liebe will be furious.
5) The Riders saying different catchphrases will be like the time during the Wizard and Gaim movie where the Gaim Riders used the Legend Rider Lockseeds.
6) That will be complete chaos:
Asta seeing his doubles: W-what is this?!
Kenzan:...Three Astas.
Asta: Why?!
Grey: Because it's fun.
Noelle suddenly coming into the room: Asta, have you seen my...
Noelle becoming confuse at the sight of three Astas: What is going on?
Asta: I've been trying to figure that out myself.
7) George Karizaki, the Reiwa troller.
8) Sure, I make sure to add a similar scene into the story.
9) It will be interesting to see what sort of upgrades George will do to the Demons Driver.
10) It will be interesting to see what sort of character development Aguilera will go through.
11) I have an idea that involves Yuri, Saikou and Kurayami.

2) Thanks for the Wonder-Ride books and Rider name, but I'm not going to include a Holy Sword of space. I was going to made a Holy Sword of space, I even made the bases of the character for the sword, but Xross Saber is pretty much space-themed, so that idea of a Holy Sword of space is pretty much taken. I am using "Gladius" for another Rider though.
