The magic of the Witch Queen
"Asta?!" Vanessa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice at the ash-white hair teen's presence.
The Black Bull's thread Mage's voice caused Asta to turn his head and his eyes widened.
"Vanessa?! What are you doing in the Witch's Forest?!" Asta asked in a shock tone.
"I've been trying to demand the Witch Queen to heal your wounds." Vanessa responded, making Asta more shock.
"You too?!" Asta asked, making Vanessa to nod her head.
"Of course. Everyone at the Black Bulls are searching for a cure." Vanessa explained, causing Asta to blink his eyes.
"Heh. You are known as the most destructive Magic Knight squad in the Clover Kingdom, yet when someone from a different squad is badly injured, you lot get motivated to find a way to heal them." Asta commented, causing Vanessa to snort slightly.
"Yeah it sounds ridiculous." Vanessa said before her expression turned into seriousness.
"You need to get out off here. You're in no condition to fight." Vanessa said, causing Asta to gain a slight annoyed expression on his face.
"I can still fight!" Asta exclaimed, causing Storm Eagle to nod its head in agreement.
"And what happens if you fall off your bird? I doubt that you can summon Brave Dragon with the state that your arms are in." Vanessa pointed out and Asta froze slightly.
"I am capable of opening a Wonder-Ride book…." Asta said in a weak tone of voice before trailing off.
In reality, it was Rin who opened the "Storm Eagle" Wonder-Ride book for the wielder of Rekka.
"Asta. Its plainly obvious that someone else summoned that red mechanical eagle for you." Vanessa responded in a deadpan tone of voice, causing Asta to growl slightly.
"Gzzz. That's the second time I got knocked off." A voice spoke, causing Asta, Storm Eagle and Vanessa to turn their attention towards the voice to see Ladros flying up to them.
"A Diamond Kingdom solider." Asta commented as he and Storm Eagle became tense.
"Asta! Leave him to me. You deal with the weaker soldiers." Vanessa said as she got out her strings.
"Hell no. I can still fight!" Asta exclaimed, causing Vanessa to growl in slight annoyance.
"….Should I come back when you two have stopped arguing?" Ladros asked, becoming slightly depressed that the Sword Of Logos Magic Knight and the Black Bull Magic Knights just completely ignored him after a few seconds.
"Nope! We're good." Asta responded, making Vanessa very tempted to tie the ash-white hair teen up with her threads and demand Storm Eagle to take him to safety.
"So that's the current wielder of Rekka, the sword of flames…." The Witch Queen thought as she watch Asta and Vanessa arguing before attacking Ladros through her magic ball.
Her eyes focused on the bandaged up arms on Asta. The Witch Queen frowned slightly as she made a decision.
"Why is this guy only attacking with Mana-bullets?" Asta thought confusedly as he kept a firm grip on Storm Eagle just as the red mechanical eagle dodge some of Ladros's attacks.
"Is that all you good at?! Dodging and no attacking back!?" Ladros exclaimed with with a smile on his face.
This caused both Asta and Storm Eagle to gain tick-marks before the red mechanical eagle beat it's wings, causing a gust of wind to appear.
"Whoa!" Ladros exclaimed as got blown about before regaining his sense of balance.
"Hmph. Those wings are pretty strong, being able to produce such gusts of wind…..hm?" The Shining General thought before sensing something closing onto him.
Ladros quickly moved out of the way, avoiding the threads that Vanessa throw at him.
"Nahaha. You have to do better than that." Ladros said with a grin on his face, causing Vanessa to make a "tch" sound.
However, with Ladros being distracted by Vanessa, Asta took the opportunity to attack the Shining Genera, sending a ball of fire straight towards him.
"Yes! I managed to land a hit!" Asta exclaimed with a smirk on his face as smoke erupted from the point of impact.
"That won't do anything, Asta. This guy is capable of absorbing Mana." Vanessa explained, causing a shock expression to appear on his face.
"Now you tell me?!" Asta exclaimed, causing Vanessa to chuckle sheepishly.
"Haaaaa. Thanks for the meal, I'm interested in seconds." The voice of Ladros spoke through the smoke and when it disappeared, it revealed that the Shining General is completely unharmed.
"So basically the only way to defeat this guy is using non-magical objects…." Asta muttered to himself before glancing down at Storm Eagle.
"I'm leaving the attacking all up to you, buddy." Asta spoke, causing Storm Eagle to make a small caw in acknowledgement.
It was then that a rumbling sound is heard, causing Asta, Storm Eagle, Vanessa and Ladros to turn their attention towards rumbling sound to see a giant golem emerging from out of the trees.
"It's attacking the Eye Of The Midnight Sun's forces." Asta thought as he watch the giant golem aiming an attack towards a Mage riding a dragon.
However, the dragon unleashed multiple ball of fires which completely destroyed the golem.
"S-seriously? That golem is a creation of the Witch Queen, but it got destroyed in seconds…." Vanessa muttered as she paled slightly.
"Wow! And here a thought that the Witch Queen was a strong magic wielder." Ladros commented, a surprise expression appearing on his face.
"Come on, Storm Eagle. Let's go and investigate." Asta said to the red mechanical eagle, causing it to nod it's head before flying towards the dragon rider, having a strange feeling he has met them before.
"Huh?! Asta, come back here!" Vanessa shouted, but it fell on deaf ears.
"No wonder Noelle likes to call him Bakasta…." Vanessa commented in an annoyed tone of voice.
"I see that there are a few Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom that are completely reckless." Ladros thought, sweat-dropping at how Asta just left the battle in order to confront an even stronger opponent despite his injuries.
With the ash-white hair teen and the red mechanical eagle, as Asta slowly come closer to the dragon rider, his eyes widened as he recognized the rider.
"Hi there! It's been a while!" Asta called, causing Fana and Salamander to turn their attention towards him. Storm Eagle just sweat-drop at the causal greeting.
"You're one of the people that kill Vetto. I kill you." Fana said simply before letting Salamander unleash a ball of fire.
"Whoa!" Asta exclaimed just as Storm Eagle flew out of the way.
"Stop getting in my way, you can't even fight properly." Fana pointed out, taking note of Asta's broken arms.
"So what if my arms are broken! Me and my friends will still send the whole lot of you packing!" Asta responded in a confident tone of voice.
"How should I go with this and fight Miss Hate here? We are using the same magic, so there's no form of advantage there. There's also Salamander to think about, it certainly grown bigger." Asta thought, frowning as he attempted to think of a plan.
However, it was at that moment that a black bird landed on Asta's shoulders.
"Hm?" Asta said in a confused tone of voice as he stared at the newly appeared black bird.
"Hey. I'm not a tree to perch on, shoo." Asta said as he attempted to get rid of the black bird with the help of Nero, who has been hiding within the hood piece of his Sword Of Logos Magic Knight robe.
"What is that fool doing?" Fana thought as she observe Asta's, plus Nero's, failed attempts of getting rid of the black bird.
It was at that moment that the black bird struck Asta with it's beck, creating a deep wound in his shoulder.
"O-owch! My arms are already damaged as they are. I don't need any-huh?" Asta began to say but is cut off as he suddenly gained a strange feeling within his body.
After a few seconds, the strange feeling disappeared, causing the ash-white hair teen to blink his eyes in confusion before slowly unwrapping his bandages, causing a shock expression on to appear on Nero's face.
Asta's eyes widened when he saw that his arms are completely healed.
"What just happened?! The curse has disappeared…..and I feel a lot more stronger."
Asta thought as he examine himself, before turning his attention towards the black bird, realizing that the wound that the black bird made earlier has also disappeared.
"Thank you very much." Asta said with a smile on his face.
However, the black bird just stared at him with an expression that could be explained as "I healed your wounds. Don't disappoint me". With Fana, a surprised expression appeared on her usual anger-filled face.
"How did that bird managed to heal the cursed-inflicted wound?! No matter, he will soon die along with the others." Fana thought just as the black bird took off from Asta's shoulders.
"Right! Time to get back into the action!" The ash-white hair teen exclaimed before taking out the Seiken Sword-Driver from his Grimoire and placed it against his waist.
Fana watched as Asta took out the "Brave Dragon" Wonder-Ride book and the "Storm Eagle" Wonder-Ride book and placed them within their respective slots.
"Henshin!" Asta shouted before unsheathing Rekka.
Unsheathe the flames!
Rekka: Volume two!
On savage wings in the sky, the dragon clad in hellfire will burn everything to ashes.
The driver announced and Asta is clad in armor.
"Hehehehe. It's good to back." Saber muttered as he examine himself just as Storm Eagle let out a mighty caw.
"Just die." Fana said before letting Salamander attack the swordsman of flames and Storm Eagle.
With his newly regained wings, Saber shot off in one direction whilst Storm Eagle went in the other direction.
"A pincer attack?" Fana thought as she glance at her opponents.
"No matter. Salamander, fly higher." Fana commanded, causing Salamander to beat it's wings faster.
However, Storm Eagle let out a powerful gust of wind from it's own wings, causing Salamander to tilt to the side.
The member of the "Third Eye" crouched in order to avoid the risk of getting blown of the spirit of fire.
"I got you now!" A voice shouted, causing Fana to turn her head towards the source of the voice to see Saber preparing to swing Rekka at her.
In response, Fana opened her Grimoire.
"Crystal Creation Magic: Laevateinn." Fana announced, creating a familiar looking crystal-made sword, but smaller, and swing it at Saber, deflecting Rekka.
Salamander decided to swipe a claw at Saber, but the swordsman of flames managed to move out of the way.
"Hey! How are you able to wield crystal magic?!" Saber asked, him becoming shock at the discovery.
"Why should I answer you? I hate you." Fana questioned as she point her version of Laevateinn at Saber which has flame-like designs on it.
"You know. Whilst we're on the subject, why do you hate the Clover Kingdom so much? We've been fighting until now without even knowing why we're shedding blood!" Saber asked whilst Storm Eagle gave it's companion a deadpan expression on it's face at the fact the swordsman of flames has decided to talk with the enemy.
"Shut up." Fana responded simply just has Salamander let out a stream of flames.
Luckily, Storm Eagle easily dispersed the flames with the wind that it can produce.
Fana blinked in confusion as the swordsman of flames seemingly disappeared.
That confusion disappeared when she sense a presence behind her, causing the member of the "Third Eye" to whirl around to see Saber.
"Your teammate really hated us, and fell into despair because of it. So tell me why? Can't we come to an understanding?!" Saber shouted, trying to get through to Fana.
"…...who the hell is going to believe you?!" Fana asked just as the crystal on her forehead broke, revealing a third eye.
"She's able to use that power as well!?" Saber thought in a shock tone of voice before suddenly getting grabbed by Storm Eagle, just in time to avoid getting "frozen" in crystals.
"Will you be able to live through my intense hatred?" Fana asked just as the demonic Mana started to spread.
With Joyeues, Espada and Laevateinn, the three Kamen Riders have formed some sort of truce in favour of defeating the Eye Of The Midnight Sun, the greatest threat in the current situation.
"What is wrong with these flames?! It doesn't matter how many I put out, they seemed to be coming back!" Joyeues exclaimed in annoyance as she attempt to put out the flames, but to no avail as the flames return after a few seconds.
"The Eye Of The Midnight Sun certainly brought the right Mage for the job." Espada thought as she glance towards the general direction that the fire started.
"….." Laevateinn remained silent as he observe the air whilst riding a crystal-made platform.
It was then that the swordsman of crystals saw a glint from the corner of his eye and it took him just a few seconds to dive off the crystal-made platform in order to avoid getting hit by ball of fire.
"Huh?!" Espada exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as she witness Laevateinn diving out of the way of the attack.
"Oh come on! Not another fire!" Joyeues exclaimed as she watch as the attack lilting up a tree.
"What caused that attack?" Espada thought as the swords-woman of lighting stare through the smoke, attempting to see the attack.
"Soooo, you managed to dodge the attack, huh?" A female voice spoke with a slight hiss, causing the three sword wielders to become tense and after a few seconds a humanoid-being which resembles a lizard with red skin and yellow eyes emerged through the flames.
Espada and Joyeues recognized the newcomer, but Laevateinn became confuse.
"Who are you?" Laevateinn asked as he raised Seiers Kristall.
This caused the red-scaled lizard Megid to tilt her head to the side.
"Why are you asking me that question? Aren't all the Holy Sword wielders supposed to know their enemy?" The red-scaled lizard Megid asked, causing Laevateinn to frown underneath his helmet.
"That being is called a Megid, a group of monsters that we in the Sword Of Logos have been fighting for the last two thousand years." Espada explained causing Laevateinn to widen his eyes before disappearing.
"So that is the name of that mysterious group that your squad have been fighting then…." Laevateinn commented as he prepared himself for the upcoming fight.
"How much does the Diamond Kingdom actually knows about us?" Espada and Joyeues thought, starting to become worried.
"I am the Megid known as Fiery Salamander, and I've been tasked with burning down all of my master's enemies." The now known Fiery Salamander introduce herself before unleashing multiple ball of fire towards the three Kamen Riders.
"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Nest!" Joyeues exclaimed, creating a dome of water that protected them from the attack.
"What a foolish form of defense. I can simply boil the water." Fiery Salamander retorted before charging towards the dome of water, fire starting to cover her entire body before concentrating on one of her claws.
Suddenly, Laevateinn burst out of Joyeues's spell with the "blade" of Seiers Kristall spinning.
This forced Fiery Salamander to swing her flame covered claw at Laevateinn instead.
"Ghe." Laevateinn grunted as he felt the intense heat coming off Fiery Salamander's claw.
"A rotating blade? That something I haven't seen before…." Fiery Salamander thought as she felt the "blade" of Seiers Kristall underneath her attacking claw.
"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Spikes." Joyeuea's voice can be heard and water-made spikes appeared, surrounding Laevateinn with the points aiming straight at Fiery Salamander.
Fiery Salamander yelped in pain as the water-made spikes struck her, causing the red-scaled lizard Megid to stumble backwards. a yellow and white blur sped past Laevateinn, a blade covered in lighting in hand.
"Don't you dare attempt to strike with that sword!" Fiery Salamander exclaimed as she jumped out of the way of Ikazuchi's sword swings whist covering her body in flames in order to boil the droplets of water that remain on her body.
"Crystal Creation Magic: Crystal Jormungander's Roar." Laevateinn said as his Grimoire opened and a crystal-made head of a serpent appeared floating in the air.
Both Espada and Fiery Salamander noticed the crystal-made head and the swords-woman of lighting dived out of the way to avoid getting hit by a shock-wave.
Luckily, Fiery Salamander wasn't so luckily and got hit by Laevateinn's spell.
As the red-scaled lizard Megid is stunned by the attack, Joyeues charged with Argent-Couronne at the ready.
Fiery Salamander grunted in pain as the sword of steel's blade struck her multiple times.
"And now to go with my original plan when I was fighting Laevateinn.." Joyeues thought as she remove "Swift Dolphin" and replaced with "Legend Of Leviathan".
"She's changing armor…" Laevateinn thought as and everyone else watch as Joyeues struck the base of Argent-Couronne, causing the newly appeared larger version of "Legend Of Leviathan" to open and letting the silver mechanical Leviathan fuse with her, altering the left side of her armor.
Leviathan volume: let the power of the god-beast fused with the blade…..
"Hmph. I don't see how changing your armor will change the outcome of the battle." Fiery Salamander commented in an offhanded manner.
"Oh, I think that will make a difference." Joyeues retorted with a slight smirk underneath her helmet.
"Burn, swords-woman!" Fiery Salamander exclaimed as she charged towards Joyeues, a claw covered in flames.
The swords-woman of steel moved to the side of Fiery Salamander's claw before swinging Argent-Couronne.
With some surprising speed, the red-scaled lizard Megid managed to tilt her body out of the way of getting hit by the sword of steel.
The sudden speed caused a surprise expression to appear underneath Joyeues's helmet and her eyes widened as flames started to appear within Fiery Salamander's mouth.
Luckily, she was dragged out of the way by Laevateinn.
"Er...thanks." The swords-woman of steel said in an awkward tone of voice, knowing that the two of them are still from enemy kingdoms.
However, Laevateinn didn't say anything as he turned his attention towards Fiery Salamander.
"What?! I know that we're from rivaling kingdoms, but I'm royalty, show me some respect!" Joyeues exclaimed in her head in an annoyed tone of voice.
Espada shook her head slightly, having a good guess what is going through Joyeues's head due to her body language.
With Laevateinn, the swordsman of crystals charged towards Fiery Salamander with the "blade" of Seiers Kristall spinning, having the idea with thrusting the sword forwards.
However, Fiery Salamander jumped backwards and releasing multiple fireballs, causing Laevateinn to swing Seiers Kristall instead, destroying the balls of fire.
As the swordsman of crystals got distracted by the remnants of the fireballs, Fiery Salamander took the opportunity to attack Laevateinn, striking him multiple time with fire covered claws.
Laevateinn grunted as he staggered back.
As Fiery Salamander was about to continue her assault, the swords-woman of lighting appeared within her vision, "Lamp Buster" within her hands.
Fiery Salamander quickly skidded to a stop and dived to the side in order to avoid getting hit by the bolts of lighting that Espada is firing at her.
Espada frowned as she kept of missing the red-scaled lizard Megid, but an idea soon appeared in her head.
Moving "Lamp Buster" more to the side, the swords-woman of lighting pressed down on the trigger, causing "Lamp Buster" to fire three shots instead of one and all of them hit their marks as Fiery Salamander literally ran into them.
"Gah!" Fiery Salamander exclaimed as she got electrocuted.
"Lighting Creation Magic: Lighting Genie's Tri-binding." Espada announced, capturing the red-scaled lizard Megid with lighting-made rope set in a triangle shape.
"Now the finisher!" Espada said, causing Joyeues to nod her head and began to move her hand towards the hilt of Argent-Couronne.
However, Laevateinn beat the swords-woman of steel as he pulled the ring on the hilt of Seiers Kristall and pressed the trigger.
Kristall, get ready!
Seiers Kristall announced, causing the "blade" to start spinning at a faster pace along with getting covered in a purple and white aura, all of it being joined by a standby sound.
The swordsman of crystal then released the ring.
Spinning Flash!
Seieres Kristall announced again and Laevateinn pulled back the arm that is holding the sword before thrusting it forwards, causing the spinning purple and white aura to be sent flying straight towards the tied-up Fiery Salamander, being joined by a phantom-like Jormungandr.
Fiery Salamander's eyes widen just as the spinning aura struck her and the phantom-like Jormungandr bite down on her as well, causing an explosion to occur.
Laevateinn glanced over his shoulder to see Espada and Joyeues staring at him.
"….Is that how you deal with the Megid?" Laevateinn asked, not sure why the two swords-women are just staring at him.
The question caused Espada to cough before speaking.
"Y-yes. That's pretty much how we fight against the Megid." Espada responded, causing Laevateinn to nod his head slightly.
With Joyeues, the swords-woman of steel is slightly annoyed that the swordsman of crystals took the spotlight.
It was at that moment that the sound of hurrying footsteps can be heard.
And there we have it, Asta has started to fight Fana and Joyeues, Espada and Laevateinn have encounter the Megid Fiery Salamander. So I decided to write how the Witch Queen can use her magic through her black birds.
So in Revice, Revi transformed into his Volcano Genome whilst Vice gains the Braid Genome. A new version of the Deadmans have been revealed, the Gifftarian which is summoned by using the Giff Vistamp on a human which then leads to the demon consuming it's host. This episode introduces the director of Fenix, Hideo Akaishi. Julio's background also been revealed, an ordinary high-school student known as Go Tamaki.

1) Yeah, grammar isn't one of my strong suits.
2) I have a few super Wonder-Ride books at the ready.
3) I'm not sure about the upcoming Black Clover movie. It is expected that the movie will cover the Spade Kingdom invasion arc, but I can't think how the entire arc can be compressed into one movie. Two ideas that I have come up with are:
-the Spade Kingdom invasion arc will be spread across two movies, the first one involving the battles against the three Dark Triad members whilst the second will be the battle against Lucifero and the other Supreme Devils.
-the movie will cover the battles against the Dark Triad members before ending on a cliffhanger with the rest of the arc going back to the normal episode formant.
If the movie does show different events, then it would be non-canon.
4) Speaking of clothes...where on earth do Noelle's clothes go when she transform into her Valkyrie armor!?
Dragon Rider 66:
1) Rin accidentally falling in love with Asta? Noelle won't like that.
2) Thanks for the idea of Salamander's flames "burning" Asta's wounds, but the Witch Queen decided to go with her method.
3) A possible Saint Stage form and a new Holy Sword for Kenzen? That will be interesting to see.
4) I think Asta will react as his typical way:
Asta: WE'RE BROTHERS?! Why did you say anything?!
Liebe: Kekekekeke.
But at least Asta will finally understand why he was left at the orphanage and doesn't possess any Mana.
5) Yes, it is likely that it will be those two who will say the different catchphrases.
6) That will be chaotic. I can just imagine a scene where Kenzan, or Grey, transformed into Noelle and heavily flirting with Asta and the real Noelle appear...or Nozel.
7) Yep, the genies inventor and hardcore Rider fan.
8) A form in a V-Cinema special will be the most likely case for Hirome.

1) Mar's goes by the title of swordsman of crystals.
2) Daishinji won't be appearing in this arc.
3) I will think about a combo spell with Asta and Leo.
4) I haven't watched any of the Ultraman series, sorry.
5) Some of Noelle's upgrade will be similar to her canon self, but one of them will be different though...
6) I think about that idea of Argent-Couronne absorbing Nozel's magic.
