April Showers Bring May Flowers-Ch 1
Today totally sucked for Penelope Grace Garcia, she had gotten into a huge fight with her best friend/boyfriend Derek Michael Morgan, words were said that can never be taken back and now she doesn't know what to do.
She still couldn't believe that her and Derek had gotten into a fight of Kevin Lynch of all people, a man that meant absolutely nothing to her, a man that she cared nothing about and finally a man that may have cost her the love of her life and the man she'd always dreamed of being with.
Penelope was just finishing a search for B team when she heard a knock at her lair door, she said, "come in", the door opened and she had hoped beyond all hope that it was Derek, that he'd come to say he was sorry for doubting her, say that he was sorry for everything that he'd said earlier and beg for her forgiveness but sadly it wasn't him.
When she turned in her chair there before her was a smiling Kevin Lynch, she said, "get out Kevin", he said, "nowwwwwwww plumsauce, you don't mean that", she said, " one, don't call me plumsauce and two I am totally seriouis, get out, get out, get out" with each word getting louder and louder.
Kevin flinched and said, "listen plum, I mean Penelope, we need to talk", she laughed and said, "about what I can't fathom", she then motioned toward her door and said, "get out Kevin, I mean it", he stepped closer and said, "I still love you and I want you back, I want us back".
She sighed and said, "well you're old enough so that when you don't get stuff it won't hurt you, NOW GET OUTTTTTTTTTTT", he said, "shhhhhhh, easy, I don't want to hurt you all I want is to get back our relationship", she shook her head and said, "never gonna happen, I don't love you Kevin, not now not ever".
He sighed and said, "well now would be a good time for us to get back together", she said, "what part of I don't want you don't you get, am I saying it too fast for you or something?", he said, "I'm not giving up on us Penelope, I love you and I will get you back", he turned around and walked toward the door but turned around and said, "I know that he broke up with you".
She froze, he knew, how did he know", she said, "Kevin, there is nothing that you could say or do that would make me want to be with you, I want nothing to do you with, heck if it was up to me I wouldn't even talk to you at work but sadly I have too", he laughed and said, "Penelope, Penelope, Penelope" as he started making his way across the room to her.
When he was standing in front of her he reached out and pulled her into his arms and said, "I love you, I always have", she said, "you love me, Kevin you cheated on me every chance you got when we were together that is one of the reasons that I broke up with you, REMEMBERRRRR" as she pulled herself out of his grip.
Kevin said, "Morgan doesn't want you", Penelope said, "he loves me", Kevin laughed and said, "if he loves you so much why did he just leave with Tamara Barnes?", she said, "he what?", Kevin said, "that's right, he was leaving with Tamara when I started making my way down the hall".
Penelope said, "you're lying, he'd never be with her", Kevin said, "ohhhhh but he wasssss, go ahead ask JJ or Reid they'll tell you because they saw him too", Penelope said, :"I'll do that" and grabbed her things and made her way from her lair and headed up the hallway to find JJ and or Reid.
She found JJ first and said, "sunshine can I have a word?", JJ said, "sure Garcie, what's up?", Penelope went into JJ's office and shut the door, she then sat down beside JJ's desk and said, "didDerekleavewithTamaraBarnes?", JJ said, "woahhhhh, what?", Penelope said, "did Derek leave with Tamara Barnes?", JJ blew out a deep breath and looked at her friend.
Penelope looked at her as she said, "what happened between you and Derek, he's been in a bad mood all day?", Penelope said, "we had an argument and things were said that can't be unsaid and currently I don't think we're together".
JJ said, "Garcia I", Penelope said, "please sunshine, please tell me the truth, did he or did he not leave with Tamara Barnes today?", JJ said, "I don't know how to tell you this honey but yes, yes he did, now I don't know why he did it but he did, he left with her", hearing those words completely shattered her heart.
JJ pulled her friend into her arms and said, "how about you come over to our place tonight and you can fill me and Spence in on what happened?", she nodded her head and said, "thanks JJ", JJ said, "any time honey, any time" as the two friends stood up and made their way up the hall to find Reid.
A few minutes later the trio stepped onto the elevator and as the doors closed Kevin said, "I will get you back Penelope, I will make you think that Derek is cheating on you with Tamara and seeing the state you're in right now it won't be too hard to push you and Derek apart permanently".
He then turned around and made his way back up the hall, it might take a few days for everything to fall into place but he was patient, he'd wait, he'd wait because she was worth it and one way or another she would be his.
