Chapter 10: Mystery of a Thousand Moons
Hard-pressed Jedi and their valiant clone troopers have thwarted an insidious Separatist plot to plant bombs loaded with the deadly Blue Shadow Virus in key Republic systems.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ferus Olin and Nadia Aomori have captured the vile scientist behind the nefarious scheme: Doctor Nuvo Vindi.
Now the Jedi plan to transport Vindi to the Republic capital for trial...
Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka and Nadia were preparing to transfer Dr. Nuvo Vindi to Theed for trial for his despicable deeds against the galaxy.
Obi-Wan and Anakin took Dr Vindi on their ship.
"That was close."Anakin declared. "If that virus escaped, everyone in Naboo would be dead now."
"Oh well."Obi-Wan commented. "Just another day saving the universe."
"Too be honest, this day was with a little excitement, Master."Nadia remarked.
"Alright. Let's take this limo back to Theed."Anakin stated, gesturing to Dr Vindi. "So we can go help Padme and Ahsoka clean up down there."
Ferus glared at the mad doctor.
"I couldn't agree more."Ferus agreed.
Back in the Lab Below...
Padme was talking with Jar Jar in the lab while the Clone Troopers checked around the lab.
A Clone Trooper notice one of the bombs containing the Blue Shadow Virus was missing.
"Senator, you should see this."the Clone Trooper declared. "It's one of the virus bombs."
Padme looked at the Clone Trooper's direction and saw one of the virus bombs was missing the container that held the Blue Shadow Virus, meaning that if the wrong hands have possession of the virus, it could still be released.
"It looks like the chamber that holds the virus is missing."Padme commented with a hint of shock.
"That droid must have taken it."the Clone Trooper assumed.
"Sound the alarm."Padme ordered.
The the alarms got activated to warn everyone in the lab that one of the virus bombs was missing.
Meanwhile...
Two Clone Troopers searched for Dr Vindi's servant droid in the bomb room.
"That droid got one of the virus container."the first Clone Trooper said.
"I don't know."the second Clone Trooper replied. "But I don't wanna be around, when they set it off."
The servant droid of the mad doctor secretly sneaked into the room behind the two clones.
"One of the virus container is in one of these bombs."the first Clone Trooper assumed.
"We'll just have to check them again."the other Clone Trooper suggested.
Back up...
Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ferus and Nadia noticed Dr Vindi starting to chuckle all the sudden.
"What's so funny, doctor?"Nadia said with an annoyed look.
"This is so delighted."Dr Vindi sneered. "You are doomed, young Jedi. Along with your friends and the rest of the planet."
The four Jedi glared at the mad doctor.
Meanwhile back in the Lab...
Dr Vindi's servant droid inserted the virus into a bomb.
Before the two Clone Troopers can stop it, the droid sets off the bomb and the virus started to spread through the complex.
At the Top...
The ground started shaking, alarming Anakin, Obi-Wan, Nadia and Ferus.
"What was that?"Anakin asked.
Then a chill went down Nadia's spine when she realised the Blue Shadow Virus had been released.
"Oh no..."Nadia murmured nervously.
In the Lab's Corridors...
Ahsoka used the Force to get the Clone Troopers inside the safe room.
"Hurry!"Rex shouted.
Ahsoka quickly leaped into the safe room, just as one of the doors was about to close.
Rex, Ahsoka and the Clone Troopers managed to make it into the safe room before any of them got hit by the Blue Shadow Virus.
Meanwhile...
Obi-Wan, Anakin and the two padawans brought Dr Vindi into the Republic Ship with Artoo following them.
Obi-Wan, Nadia and Artoo kept an eye on the mad doctor.
"Ahsoka, what's going on down there?"Anakin questioned in his comlink.
"The droid released the virus."Ahsoka reported. "But we managed to seal the lab."
"And Padme?"Anakin questioned.
"Haven't heard from her since the bomb." Ahsoka replied.
Then Ferus got a call in his comlink.
"Ferus, can you hear me?"Padme asked.
"Loud and clear, big sister."Ferus replied in relief. "Are you okay?"
"Yes. For the time being."Padme answered. "Jar Jar and I got to safety. When the alarm went off, we're wearing protector suits."
Ferus glared at the mad doctor while speaking to his sister.
"Pad, the virus is loose thanks to the mad doctor's little pet."Ferus scowled.
"Yes, I know, But any remaining droid will try to break out."Padme warned. "I'll do what I can to stop them. I can't let the virus escape."
"Okay and be careful."Ferus responded.
Ferus then ended the call.
Back in the Lab...
Jar Jar was panicking and Padme handed him a helmet.
"Put this on."Padme instructed.
Jar Jar put the helmet on his head.
"Come on, Jar Jar."Padme said as she followed the CloneTtroopers. "Let's go find Ahsoka. We'll need her help to find the droids."
Padme and Jar Jar in their EVA suits went to find Ahsoka and prevent any remaining droids from escaping the lab and releasing the virus onto the planet.
In the Republic Ship...
Anakin activated and pointed his lightsaber at Dr Vindi.
"Where's the antidote, Vindi?"Anakin demanded coldly.
"You mistake, my rule, jedi."Dr Vindi chuckled. "My job was to manufacture it, not to cure it."
"We don't have time for games."Nadia threatened.
"Patience, Nadia."Obi-Wan instructed. "There's more than one way to skin a wob-rat."
Nadia quietly nodded, secretly moving her hand away from her lightsaber.
"I said where!"Anakin demanded angrily.
Anakin pointed his lightsaber on Dr Vindi's neck.
"Yes."Dr Vindi sneered evilly. "Kill me now and spare these old bones the Blue Shadow Virus's dire embrace, because once the first droid breaks out of that laboratory, all Naboo is doomed!"
A raged look grew on Ferus' face at the thought of his adopted parents, older sisters and two nieces; Ryoo and Pooja being in danger by the deadly virus.
"Why you-"Ferus growled.
Ferus attempted to punch the mad doctor on the ace, but then Nadia held him back.
Obi-Wan looked at Anakin.
"Anakin."Obi-Wan spoke up. "The faster way to save Senator Amidala and Ahsoka is to take Vindi back to the capital and find an actual antidote."
Anakin deactivated his lightsaber.
Then the group depart from Theed in the Republic Ship.
Back in the Lab...
Ahsoka, Rex and the Clone Troopers discovered that a small portion of the virus managed to get into the safe room before the door closed
"No, No, No!"the Clone Trooper retorted, looking at the computer screen. "Some of the virus got in here! We didn't close the doors fast enough!"
"We may be dead men."Rex stated. "But we can still stop the droids."
"Don't worry, my master will find a cure for this virus, but we're not dead yet."Ahsoka reminded.
Padme contacted Ahsoka in her comlink.
"Is anyone out there?"Padme asked.
"Senator Amidala, we're trapped in a safe room at the end of con-flex B."Ahsoka reported.
"We'll be right there."Padme replied. "Are you contaminating?"
Ahsoka and Rex notice two of the Clone Troopers have removed their helmets and started coughing.
"I'm afraid so."Ahsoka answered grimly.
Meanwhile...
The Republic Ship returned back to Theed's main Hangar.
The ramp lowered as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Nadia, Ferus and Dr Vindi with his hands cuffed came out.
Captain Typho and two Naboo guards were waiting for them.
"Dr Vindi."Captain Typho snarled coldly. "You'll pay for your treachery. Take him away."
The two Naboo guards took Dr Vindi away.
"Now we have to find an antidote."Obi-Wan declared.
"I think I found an answer for you."Captain Typho stated.
The four jedi followed Captain Typho into the lab.
"So you think you found an cure?"Anakin asked.
"Possibly."Captain Typho replied. "A little known extract made from Reeksa root, found only on Iego, the World of a Thousand Moons and deep in Separatist control space."
"Let's go."Anakin insisted.
"Right behind you."Ferus assured.
Ferus and his brother-in-law began to walk away.
"You must move consciously if-"Captain Typho started.
"There's no time for conscious."Anakin said angrily as Obi-Wan held his shoulder. "My Padawan is trapped down there and so is Padme."
Obi-Wan and Nadia looked at Anakin while Ferus secretly looked nervous over Anakin's statement.
"I mean Senator Amidala."Anakin corrected.
"I apply you courage, General Skywalker."Captain Typho said. "But it's suicide, once we contain the virus, we can send troops."
"No."Anakin replied as he walked away. "Me, Obi-Wan and Kitty can handle it."
Nadia frowned. "Not the time for nicknames you know."
Obi-Wan and Nadia walked away, leaving Ferus with Captain Typho.
Afterwards...
Obi-Wan, Anakin and Nadia took the shuttle and flew away from Naboo.
"Padme and Ahsoka will be fine."Obi-Wan assured.
"Yeah."Nadia said in agreement. "Ferus will find a way to save them both."
"If we succeed."Anakin replied.
Then the shuttle jumped into hyperspace.
Meanwhile back in the lab...
Padme and Jar Jar watched two battle droids walking away.
Alongside them was Ferus, who came to their aid and whore a yellow EVA suit as well.
"All the doors are locked."the first battle droid said. "How are we going to get out?"
"It's not our problem."the second battle droid assured.
"Boy, that's a relief."the first battle droid commented.
Once they were gone, Padme, Ferus and Jar Jar went in front of the safe room.
"Senator Amidala, where are you?"Ahsoka asked.
"We're outside your safety room."Padme responded in her comlink.
"Can you get the door open?"Ahsoka asked.
Ferus looked at Jar Jar.
"Go ahead, Jar Jar."Ferus encouraged
Jar Jar pressed the button and the two went inside the safe room, where Rex, Ahsoka and the clone troopers were.
Padme placed her hand on the young female torguta's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Ahsoka."Padme apologised.
"Don't worry about us, Senator."Ahsoka assured. "We still have a job to do."
"There aren't many droids left, some are heading in the south entrance."Ferus informed.
"As long we help you, we can destroy those droids before they reach the compound."Ahsoka commented.
Rex handed a blaster to Padme.
"You take the North border, we take the South."Padme ordered.
Padme and a group of Clone Troopers took down a small group of battle droids as Jar Jar followed them.
Ferus, Ahsoka, Rex and a Clone Trooper showed up in the scene.
The group saw one of the battle droids going up the ladder to open the hatch and release the virus throughout the planet.
"Stop!"Rex snapped.
"Don't open that hatch!"Padme demanded.
"You'll regret it."Ferus warned.
"Ha!"the first battle droid sneered. "Too late!"
Then Ferus slashed the battle droid with his lightsaber before he can open the hatch.
In Space...
The shuttle that Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia were on approached to the location of the Iego planet.
"There it is, Iego."Obi-Wan declared.
Nadia looked at the broken ship pieces in front of the planet.
"Look at all those junk."Nadia commented.
"That's no junk, Nadia."Anakin admitted.
"It looks more like a graveyard of ships."Obi-Wan stated.
Nadia gulped nervously at her Master's respond.
When the shuttle landed in Iego, the three Jedi saw disfigured droids with mixed-up parts.
"Clankers."Nadia muttered.
"Let's go."Anakin said as he walked away.
Nadia followed Anakin.
"Anakin, Nadia, wait."Obi-Wan instructed.
Anakin and Nadia went off the ship's ramp and the battle droids started marching towards them.
"Welcome to Iego."the strangely disfigured droids with mixed-up parts repeated in unison. "Welcome to Iego."
"Not good."Anakin complemented.
"Let's make this quick."Nadia suggested.
"Anakin, Nadia, wait!"Obi-Wan repeated.
Anakin and Nadia activated their lightsabers as they charged at the battle droids and slashing them down.
But then two Jedi deactivated their lightsabers, when they realized the battle droids weren't blasting at them.
Obi-Wan walked up to their companions.
"Very impressive."Obi-Wan responded. "You both just destroyed 17 defenceless battle droids without suffering a single scratch."
Then another battle droid got slashed down by Anakin.
"Eighteen actually."Anakin corrected.
Nadia blushed and smiled awkwardly.
"Oops."Nadia chuckled shyly. "I guess not all battle droids are the same."
"The venerable Jaybo Hood requests an audience."A battle droid declared.
"Jaybo?"Obi-Wan, Anakin and Nadia asked in unison.
A dark brown haired boy walked up to the three Jedi
"Hey!"A boy called out as he approached the trio while holding a battle droid's head. "Do you three have any idea how long it took me to re-prose these droids?"
"You're Jaybo?"Anakin asked.
"A kid?"Nadia said in disbelief.
"Well, of course I am."Jaybo responded as he walked away. "Aren't you?"
Nadia slightly frowned at Jaybo's question.
"I apologies for my friend's and Padawan's rash behaviours."Obi-Wan stated.
"Nine months, man."Jaybo retorted as he went to lie in a hammock strung between the legs of two Vulture droids with the retrofitted battle droids attending him. "Nine months."
One of the droids put on the music radio as Jaybo relaxed on his hammock.
Nadia and the two men looked at each other before approaching Jaybo.
"How a kid like you come up with these many battle droids anyway?"Anakin asked.
"Simple."Jaybo replied. "When the Separatist took off, they left this junk behind gotta a ware house all full of them back there."
"So you programmed them to serve you?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"No reason to let a droid rust."Jaybo said.
Nadia glanced at the battle droids.
"Cute."Nadia said simply.
"Looks like you used a macro-protocol to wipe them saintliness, impressive."Anakin said with a smile.
"I see you know your droids, your Jedi, aren't you?"Jaybo suggested. "Want me to show you, how I did it?"
"Perhaps another time."Obi-Wan said. "What we need now is Reeksa root do you know, where we can find some?"
"Here, there, everywhere."Jaybo replied.
Jaybo relaxed on his hammock which made Anakin become irritated.
"We don't have time for games, kid."Anakin stated with a hint of anger. "Where's the root?"
"What my friend is trying to say is, we are at a bit of a hurry."Obi-Wan said.
"Besides we haven't got all day."Nadia commented.
"This system is haunted cursed. Jedi or not, no one gets off this rock alive."Jaybo exclaimed. "Not past Drol."
This caused the battle droids to become nervous.
"Drol?!"A battle droid said nervously.
"Drol?"Obi-Wan repeated.
"Yeah, Drol."Jaybo agreed. "The phantom ruler of Iego, he destroys anything that leaves the planet, fifty of the best pilots in the galaxy tried, and none made it alive."
Nadia looked at Obi-Wan and Ferus.
"That explains the destroyed ships."Nadia whispered with a hint of fear.
"First things first, we'll have to deal with this 'Drol' later."Anakin clarified.
Back in the Lab of Naboo...
Two Droidekas showed up in one of the corridors.
Ferus and Ahsoka activated their lightsabers and destroyed the Droidekas at the top of their shields.
Jar Jar tries to blast the Droidekas to help his friends.
However, Padme ripped a hole in her Envirosuit after tackling Jar Jar to save him from blaster fire and got affected by the virus as well.
Ahsoka, Ferus and the Clone Troopers rushed up to Padme.
"Senator!"Ahsoka yelld out.
"Pad!"Ferus shouted as he rushed up to his sister followed by Ahsoka. "Are you okay?!"
"Senator, you suit has been compromised."Rex declared.
Padme gasped, when she saw a hole in her suit.
"I'm so sorry."Ahsoka apologised sadly.
"We should have protected you. Especially me."Ferus retorted in a regretful tone. "This was my fault."
"Don't blame yourself, Ferus."Padme said as she removed her helmet. "These things happen in the war zone."
Ferus looked at his sister with complete sadness and worry.
Meanwhile in Iego...
Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia descend a cliff, while Jayob watched them.
"Are you coming?"Obi-Wan asked.
"You gotta be kidding?"Jayob suggested. "No way, I'm going down there."
"Is there something your trying to tell us?"Anakin questioned. "If you are, just tell us."
"No point on hiding it, you know."Nadia insisted.
"Don't worry, beautiful, it's simple."Jayob assured with a slight smirk. "Follow the vines to the bottom to dig up the roots, but don't touch the vines."
"Thanks for the tip."Nadia muttered bluntly.
The black haired girl and the two men continued going down the cliff.
"Besides the obvious, why not?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"Because the plants don't like it and they have big sharp teeth."Jayob stated.
"Teeth?"Anakin scowled sarcastically. "This is getting better by the minute."
"And watch out for the flying Xandu."Jayob added.
"What the heck is a Xandu?"Nadia scoffed.
"I'm not sure, young one."Obi-Wan responded.
Then a Xandu burst out the cliff and Anakin grabbed it on the leg.
"Master! Dia!"Anakin shouted. "Hop on!"
Nadia went on top of the Xandu while Obi-Wan went on it's other leg.
The Xandu started taking the trio down below.
"This isn't going to work!"Obi-Wan declared.
Back in the Lab...
Ferus and Ahsoka quickly took out the two battle droids that were trying to escape on the ladder.
Ahsoka began to get weak by the virus and was about to faint, but Ferus caught her.
"Ahsoka."Ferus said worriedly.
"I'm alright."Ahsoka said as she stood up. "Don't worry about me."
"Don't worry?"Ferus repeated in disbelief. "I have my suit while all of you are getting effected by the virus."
"It will fine, Ferus."Padme responded. "Trust me."
Tears were willing to come out Ferus' eyes, but the young teenage boy kept a brave face on.
He needed to be strong...and have hope that his three friends would come back to Theed with the antidote to stop the deadly virus before it was too late.
In Iego...
The Xandu took Nadia, Anakin and Obi-Wan down to the bottom of a cave.
"There!"Nadia said as she spotted the Reeksa roots. "That's the Reeksa roots that we're looking for!"
The Xandu dropped the two men and they rolled on the floor while Nadia landed gracefully.
The Reeksa plant then awakens at the trio's approach.
"I've got a bad feeling about this."Obi-Wan declared.
Nadia frowned. "I can see why, Master."
Anakin took out his digging spade while Obi-Wan and Nadia took out their lightsabers.
"Don't take long with that."Nadia reminded.
"I'm going as fast as I can."Anakin answered.
Anakin dug out for the Reeksa roots with his digging spade.
The Reeksa plant revealed its other heads and started hissing at the three Jedi.
"Anakin, hurry!"Obi-Wan protested.
"Got it!"Anakin answered.
Anakin found the root and put it on Nadia's backpack.
"Let's get out of here!"Nadia insisted.
Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia started running and climb up the cliffs as the Reeksa plants started going after them.
The three Jedi then activated their lightsabers to slash the vicious plant's heads.
When Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia reached the top, Jayob was there to greet them.
"You made it."Jayob remarked. "I knew you would."
"Did you?"Obi-Wan asked.
Nadia sat on her knees and smiled at her two companions.
"At least we didn't end up being lunch."Nadia panted in relief.
Afterwards...
Jaybo lead Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia to Amit Noloff.
"The place's dried up, once the spice convoy stops running, out here we're just millions of little paddles that no one cares about."Jayob explained. "Those on the left can't leave because the curse."
"The planet is cursed."An old alien man added.
"Cursed by who, my twitty friend?"Obi-Wan asked.
"The ghost of Drol."the old alien answered. "That's what."
"A ghost?"Anakin asked with a smirk and raising an eyebrow.
"The spirit of the thousands moon."the old alien man informed. "Our protectors can destroy all."
"If you ask me, it's a lot of..."Anakin started.
"Superstition."Obi-Wan finished.
"That's one word for it."Anakin said.
"Yeah. Besides ghosts aren't real."Nadia complemented while folding her arms. "They're just from fairy tale stories for kids."
"Fairy tale, you say?"the old alien asked.
The old alien then showed the three Jedi a hologram of a Rodian being electrocuted before his ship exploded.
"Oh my gosh."Nadia muttered in utter shock.
"That's Taquito."Jaybo admitted with a sad look. "He was a friend of mine."
"Try to leave this planet, your faint will lead to shame."the old alien declared.
Anakin raised an eyebrow at the old alien's declaration.
A moment after, the three Jedi attempt to leave Iego in their shuttle.
"The ghost of Drol may be a lot of superstition."Obi-Wan exclaimed. "But something real blow up those ships."
"Maybe it is something like an electronic shield."Nadia suggested.
"Shield?"Anakin asked. "We can handle it."
"Too bad, I really like you guys."Jaybo responded. "You too, beautiful."
Nadia simply frowned at Jaybo's declaration while Anakin slightly chuckled at that.
"Thanks for your help, kid."Anakin commented. "We could have done it without you."
"Have you ran into Drol yet?"Jaybo asked.
Nadia rolled her eyes.
"Not yet."Nadia answered with a unfazed expression.
But as the shuttle of the three Jedi pass through the debris field, sensors activate an energy field that prevented them from getting very far from Iego.
Artoo beeped in panic.
"What's the matter, Artoo?"Anakin asked. "Afraid of a ghost?"
"There's our ghost!"Obi-Wan announced. "It's an energy field!"
"So my hunch was correct!"Nadia shouted.
Nadia held onto her seat in fear.
"Turn the ship around!"Obi-Wan ordered. "We'll never make it through!"
"Those Separatists scum must have installed the energy field to prevent the inhabitants from leaving the planet."Nadia admitted in realization. "No wonder, Jaybo's friend and the other 50 top pilots got destroyed!"
"Well said, kitty."Anakin said sarcastically.
Then the shuttle landed back to Iego.
The moment they land, the holograms of Padme, Ferus and Ahsoka appeared in front of them.
Nadia gasped in shock, when she saw her best friend and the Naboo Senator in a very weak state.
"Master, can you hear me?"Ahsoka asked weakly.
"Artoo handle the signal."Anakin ordered.
Artoo beeped and made the signal more clear.
"We destroyed all the battle droids."Ferus reported and became sad. "But as you can see, I've failed to do the most important thing."
"And Naboo is safe."Ahsoka coughed. "I repeat Naboo is safe."
"Promise me, no one will open this bunker."Padme begged weakly. "Good-bye Anakin, I..."
Then the holograms of Ahsoka and Padme disappeared.
Nadia covered her mouth as her heart sank in pure fear.
"No!"Anakin said in shock.
Then Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia went off the shuttle.
"Now what do we do?"Nadia asked worriedly. "We have to go back to Naboo quickly."
"We just have to re-power the shuttle and-"Anakin said angrily.
"Slow down, Anakin."Obi-Wan instructed.
Anakin and Nadia glared at Obi-Wan.
"Slow down!"Anakin growled. "You saw it, master! They're dying!"
"How can you expect us to be calm in this situation?!"Nadia snapped.
"At least hear me out on this."Obi-Wan stated calmly.
Obi-Wan then told Anakin and Nadia his plan, making them calm down.
Later that Evening...
Obi-Wan, Anakin and Nadia called a meeting with the citizens of Iego.
"Citizens of Iego!"Obi-Wan announced. "Drol is not a ghost! But rather a separatist security system!"
"Nonsense!"the old alien scowled. "You were lucky to escape alive simple as that."
"And who said we didn't make our own look?"Anakin asked.
"The ghost of Drol, that's who."the old alien answered.
The two other aliens looked at him.
"Did anyone else inhabited Iego's moon before the Separatists arrived?"Nadia asked.
"The Angel."the old alien responded.
"The angel?"Obi-Wan asked.
Then a Diathim walked forward causing Nadia to look at her in awe due to her glowing beauty.
"We were peaceful people before the Separatists drove us from our homes."the angel explained. "And stole our moon."
"But which moon was that?"Obi-Wan asked.
The Diathim showed an hologram of Iego's moon.
"Millius Prime."the angel answered.
"The primary node, it must be near Millius Prime."Anakin suggested.
"But we'll need Vulture droids to help us."Nadia said and looked at Jaybo. "Jaybo, can you reactivate those vulture droids of yours?"
"Sure."Jaybo responded. "I can even fly them with a remote control."
"Good."Obi-Wan commented. "We can have Artoo fly the vulture droids as a decoy and into the laser field."
"Since we know what we're up against this time."Anakin said. "We can destroy the laser an meter."
"And cut a path to Millius Prime."Nadia added confidently.
Afterwards...
Anakin, Obi-Wan and Nadia went back into the shuttle.
"Ready, General Kenobi."Jaybo declared in comlink.
"Jaybo activate those droids."Anakin ordered.
Jaybo activated the Vulture Droids to aid the three Jedi in their shuttle.
"Jaybo, transfer control of the droids to Artoo."Anakin instructed.
The Vulture Droids launched and followed the shuttle into Iego's ship graveyard.
"Artoo, intercept the lasers."Obi-Wan ordered. "And send the droids directly into the laser generator."
"Here it comes."Nadia warned quietly.
The laser field activated and Artoo attempts to send the Vulture droids into the laser emitter, but they were destroyed.
Obi-Wan fired at the generator and the energy field exploded before it could hit the shuttle.
"You guys, okay?"Jaybo asked in concern.
"We're fine, kid."Anakin responded.
"But it seems you'll need new droids to boss around."Nadia remarked.
"The good news, your able to leave Iego, whenever you choose."Obi-Wan admitted with a smile.
Back in Iego, the people cheered at seeing the generator destroyed and that they were free to go anywhere they want in the galaxy.
"Artoo, set a course to Naboo."Anakin ordered.
Artoo beeped at Anakin.
Then the shuttle jumped into hyperspace for Naboo.
Back in Naboo..
The Republic Cruisers showed up and land at the lab and then stretchers bearing Padmé, Ferus, Ahsoka, Rex and the rest of the Clone Troopers were transported onto the Gunships.
Nadia wasted no time and rushed to check if Ahsoka was okay while Anakin and Ferus checked Padme.
"Hey, Soka."Nadia said with a small smile.
Ahsoka opened her eyes and smiled at her best friend.
"Hey Dia, I'm so glad you're still okay."Ahsoka responded.
"I wish I could say the same to you."Nadia commented with a hint of guilt.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I never lost faith in you even for a moment."Ahsoka assured. "I'll be back in good health before you realise."
Nadia gave Ahsoka a slight chuckle.
"Right."Nadia replied.
Ferus smiled as he slowly let go Padme's hand as the medical droids took her and Ahsoka away.
"I'm glad you and the rest are safe, Soka."Nadia thought with a bittersweet expression. "I would've lost my temper if the worst had happened."
Nadia noticed Ferus' gaze at her with a concerned look on his face.
"Are you okay, Nadia?"Ferus asked.
Nadia nodded and gave Ferus a small smile.
"I'm fine, Ferus."Nadia replied. "I was just lost in my thoughts."
"Are you sure?"Ferus asked with a concern look.
Nadia smirked. "Hundred percent."
Obi-Wan removed Jar Jar's helmet, making him drop on the ground.
"I heard you were quiet brave fending off the battle droids like Commander Olin, Jar Jar."Obi-Wan informed. "Senator Amidala suggest we offer you training of using a blaster."
"Really?"Jar Jar asked in surprise.
"Really."Obi-Wan responded.
Obi-Wan helped Jar Jar up from the ground.
"Oh, boy."Jar Jar remarked excitedly. "I'm a-gonna be trained."
"I'm not training him."Rex declared.
A medical droid took Rex away to have him recovered.
Anakin spoke with Ahsoka.
"I heard you did a fantastic job, Snips."Anakin chuckled.
"Thanks to your training, master."Ahsoka said with a smile.
"Yeah, your right, I probably do deserve most of the credit."Anakin informed with a smile and folded her arms.
"You mean we!"Nadia called out sharply.
Ahsoka smirked and rolled her eyes at her best friend and master.
"But not all of it."Anakin admitted.
"Good thinking that you don't mean everything you say."Ahsoka said.
"Pilot get these three out of here."Anakin ordered.
"Thank you, Master."Ahsoka thanked.
Anakin and Nadia watched as two of the ships began to fly away.
"See you soon, Soka."Nadia whispered.
Obi-Wan showed up next to them and placed a hand on Nadia's shoulder.
Then Obi-Wan, Nadia, Anakin and Ferus watched as the two ships flew away from Naboo.
