Dark clouds gathered in the sky above, silencing the gleeful vibes of the shining sun and gifting the village with a dark canvas. It contaminated the atmosphere and the wind with it, enveloping the village in a suffocating eerieness.

Some of the villagers looked up, sensing the dread in the air as they paused from their activities. Something was coming.

And something did come, but its arrival was unpleasantly giving. At the center of the village, a house exploded into smithereens and splinters, bursting with fire all over. Chorus of shouts and shocked gasps filled the air as all heads turned in the direction of the commotion, some rushing over to the scene.

A child laid on the ground with its mother in front of a rapidly burning house, covered in dust and ashes and coughing seriously. The impact of the explosion had sent them flying out of the house and unto the ground.

The mother had her arms over the small structure of the child in a protective mode as she fought the difficulty she was having breathing and looked up at her house as it burned before her eyes.

The villagers surrounded her, regarding her with worry as they checked her and her child's bodies for injuries, but the woman didn't seem to notice. Her eyes were tearing up as she continued to stare at her former residence.

The burning front door of the house opened slowly, creaking in its process as a silhouette emerged from it. It was dark all over and it didn't have any eyes or facial features. It looked like dark mists came together to form the physique of a man.

The males in the village growled as they watched the silhouette step unto the lower steps, taking it's time. A burnt wooden plank fell from the roof as the silhouette's feet touched the ground, looking at the people gathered around.

A male villager walked over to it, ready to confront it, but it never got the chance to even open his mouth for his neck was immediately captured in a thick misty hand of the silhouette.

Violet spots sprouted from the thorax as its hand tightened over the man's neck. The spots rapidly spread through the man's body and he instantly went limp. It was a fast process and no one expected it to last less than two seconds. The man's neck broke as the pressure, the silhouette was putting on it, increased. The violet spots that were spreading all over his body turned to black, and his eyes rolled up, exposing the whites.

The dark form released the corpse's cold neck and it fell to the ground with a loud thump. The crowd gasped, murmuring.

Some men cornered the silhouette, baring their canines at it as they laid eyes on their lifeless comrade on the ground. Bones cracked and dislocated as they shape shifted to their beast form, their fury contaminating the atmosphere even more.

They lunged at the form, in an attempt to finish it off together, not knowing that their growls would be their last sound.

The form stretched out a hand speedily at the pack of werewolves before him and out of its dark limb grew another extension till it was long enough to plunge into the necks of the beasts, attaching them together like a chain of huge heads. Familiar violet spots sprouted on their bodies as they struggled to pry away, all to no avail. The violet spots transitioned to black and the form smashed their lifeless bodies unto the ground, distributing dust into the already choking atmosphere.

After confirming that its job had been done, the silhouette turned to the crowd, which were filled with mainly women and children, and took a dangerous step forward. The crowd gasped and took a step backward, taking the victim and her child with them.

The form then stretched out both arms. It was going to make this place a corpse land, until a stone met the back of its head, stopping it.

It turned its head around sharply. Who dares?

There were two men behind him. One was taller than the other and he had his silver hair slicked back, his pinkish purple eyes gleaming with insanity while the other had long black hair which was tied into a pony tail, and the aura surrounding him was calmer than the other.

"Oi, teme." The silver haired man spoke up, his voice firm and mocking. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

The form did not answer, instead it took definite steps towards them.

The silver haired man eyed it as his hand reached into his back. "This little fu..."

His words trailed off when a gush of wind swept past him. He sighed when his eyes caught sight of a long ponytail. I thought we discussed this, Alpha.

The form shook a little when it saw the ponytail man charging at it with an insane speed. Desperate and panicky, it quickly stretched out its arms, elongating them until it was sure they could reach its target and manoeuvred them around and over the man with all the strength it could muster, only to realize that it was the air he was trying to destroy.

Before he knew it, he was pummeled into the ground, a burst of tragic pain and pressure emerging from his thoracic vertebrae.

The man, with his crazy speed had escaped those death arms of its and had attacked it from above, targeting its neck with a deadly strength. Rocks and dirt flew out and surrounded them as a small crater formed underneath the silhouette.

The silver haired man huffed out a sigh as he walked over to the ponytail man, who was now standing over the lifeless figure of the silhouette, looking at it intently.

Five people appeared as soon as he joined the man, surrounding the silhouette with him.

"Itachi sama." A woman with short blue hair, and orange sleepy eyes spoke up. "You should've let us take care of it." She said as she looked at the lifeless figure with irritation.

The Alpha's voice came out deep and calm. "It was an incubus."

"All the more reason why we should have taken care of it. It was a weaker form of the demons."

But this one wasn't the kind of weaker form all incubi were. The alpha's face scrunched up slightly. Lilith, what are you and the seven sins planning?

Incubus and Succubus were the names given to the male and female demons of the weakest rank, respectively. They had the ability to hold people down in the spiritual realm for short periods of time and destroy people's lives by spiritually commiting sexual intercourse with them, and their prey were mostly humans. They were led by Lilith, a definition of the devil king in female form.

"It wasn't worth your strength, Itachi sama." The blue haired woman continued. But their Alpha had outran them even before they could lay a hand on it.

"I believe something that could kill eight warewolves within seconds is worth questioning?" Her mate, an orange haired man with brown eyes, said in a question-like statement.

"This incubus had a rare poison infused into its body, and could cause this many deaths. It is not a normal incubus."

"Well, if it's poison..." A red haired with brown hazel eyes spoke. "Maybe I can take a look at it."

The silver haired man snickered. "No bullshit, skinny kid."

The Alpha shut his eyes. "Hidan."

The silver haired man dipped his hands into his pockets as his eyes roved to the side. "Sor..." And the rest trailed off. No one heard the apology completely.

A blonde with blue eyes, who had his hair tied into a long pony tail and one sided bangs falling gracefully past his lips, groaned loudly. "Listen, these demons are getting brave. I say we blow up some places, especially those in alliance with them."

"Oi oi oi, explosion obsessed fool. Shut it." Hidan's mocking voice taunted him.

The blonde gave him a glare. "It's Deidara, stupid. Who dyes their hair silver anyways?"

"I was born with this shit so shut the hell up."

"How about you both shut it!" A blue haired man with dark blue eyes bellowed. When peace was restored, the man turned to the Alpha. "Itachi sama?"

Itachi wasn't really bothered about his generals acting this way. They've all been like this since they were mid pups. One thing he knew and could trust was that, when it was time for a meeting with outsiders, they would always act their best and would dominate effortlessly.

"Lilith and the sins would not just show us a glimpse of what they've been doing for nothing. They're manipulative."

"Do they think we'll fall for it so easily?" Hidan scoffed.

"Exactly." The red haired spoke up. "They know we won't, so why still display their art?"

"Art?" Deidara shook his head. "Sasori, you call this art? I'm disappointed."

Sasori sighed as he put a palm to his face and dragged it down. "Deidara..."

"It might be a warning or an enlightenment of awareness for the impending war." The orange haired man said.

"Yahiko." The blue haired man whispered, glancing at their lead general.

"If they are allowing us to know about their plans, then they are planning something more stupendous. This is a forum of deceptiveness. They know that we'll figure it out and that alone is where their manipulation comes in. We are pulled into thinking that they have more outrageous plans but then they could surprise us in another region which we might not put into consideration when strategizing our next move with the information we have now. They are playing with our sequence and conjuring up derisive schemes."

"So, they want this slow. Pitching out their tents here and there, even before the war." Konan said, watching as the incubus ashes got carried away by the wind.

"Konan, take the hurt woman and her child to the shelter, with those who have lost their mates to the incubus."

"Hai." The blue haired woman bowed before walking away.

"What do we do about this fu..."

"Hidan, you check on the other side of the region."

The man sighed and walked away.

"We will give them what they want, but we won't give it completely." Itachi turned around. "Set out to the other regions in western Raikanrando."

"Hai, Itachi sama." The remaining generals chorused, walking away with him.

"I still say we blow up some places." Deidara murmured.

The red haired beside him sighed. "Just, please.."

"Think about it, Sasori"

"I hope my brother is doing well?" Itachi turned to the man beside him as the others walked off in a different direction.

"Yes, Itachi sama. He left for the human world few days ago."

"In search of the girl in the prophecy?"

"As I heard, yes."

That's what they're saying. Itachi knew his brother. There's something else.

He would not send someone to spy on his brother just for information. Sasuke will tell him when he deems fit.

Led by her scent, he had gotten to where his mate was but the male with her was no where to be found.

He had found her back to him, watching her as she stared in another direction with intent and had walked over to her, keeping his eyes on her as her fragrance wafted through his nose in layers.

It was dangerous being this close. He knew but now, he didn't mind. He just wanted to be with her. The only one with her and no one else.

She had turned around and he'd felt her forehead hit his chest. He had brought out a hand and had steadied it behind the back of her head, giving it some space so that in case she staggered, he'd be able to steady her. She had raised her head up slowly and had looked at him with those eyes of hers. Those goddamn gleaming eyes of hers.

They had widened. If he didn't think they could get any bigger, they had proven him wrong, and he will never forget the words she said next.

The upraised hand behind her head dropped as he stared at her in confusion.

Did she just call me... duckbutt dude? Duckbutt...dude..

He blinked at her, watching as she raised a pointed finger, an animated irkmark displaying on the right side of her head.

She opened her mouth, and closed it. She opened it again but closed it immediately. Shaking her head, she decided to take a deep breath. When she did, she gave him a glare.

"What are you doing here? I thought you made yourself clear. We should never", she emphasized on the 'never', "see each other again." Oh, how she wanted to open her mouth and let different kinds of words fly out and into this handsome man's face.

"I did." He nodded. He wasn't good at this kind of thing but he had a feeling that he needed to say something else, and thankfully, his bloodlust was gone.

Sakura huffed as she looked him over "I have a lot of things to say to your face but I really need to preserve a sane mind for my lectures so if you'll excuse me." She gave him a mock bow and turned around.

Sasuke clenched his hand as he watched her figure walk away from him.

Say something, you fool. His beast snarled, frustrated.

"I ..." He was suddenly beside her. "I didn't mean it."

She looked at him. "What?"

"What I said to you before." He steadied his gaze on hers, ignoring the electricity that shot up through his spine. How do you tell a human who's your mate that she's your mate?

"I am a lycan, a being from the other world and you're my mate."

"Are you ill or something?"

Her voice brought him out of his thoughts. "What?'

Good thing you didn't say that stupid thing. He could hear his beast growling.

"The way you keep on zoning out and your eyes are glazing over." She said "Must have to do with your brain. Oh, you poor duckbutt dude."

Is she making fun of me?

Of course, she is, pfft. His beast was probably blowing raspberries now.

"It's Sasuke." He told her. "Uchiha Sasuke."

"Uchiha Sasuke?" She repeated as she stretched out a hand and give him a closed eye smile. "Haruno Sakura."

He placed his hand over hers, accepting the handshake. His heart started to thump, beating with full force. It's the mate bond, nothing else of course. He thought, trying to calm his heartbeat, and that's when he heard a crunch.

Bewildered, he looked at his mate. She was still smiling at him and gripping his hand, although firmly this time around. It wasn't enough to break his bones but it gave off the air that she was trying to.

Was she threatening him?

"Just an awareness." She began, her eyes still closed. "If you ever come to, me and ask me with this question what are you? or you tell me off like we were ever a thing, I will..." She tightened her hand over his own as she opened her eyes slowly and lowered her head, giving him a scary gaze. "... destroy you."

Rather than terrified, he was amused. He watched as she walked off, not even sparing him a glance.

Jugo. He mind linked the lycan, his gaze never wavering from his mate's retreating figure.

Sasuke sama?

Change the course of my field of profession.

I...urm, yes Sasuke sama, as you wish. His voice sounded hesitant even through the link. But what would you like your field of interest to be?

What my mate is studying.

He heard him sputter. The... Luna?

The expression on Sasuke's face changed from amusement to annoyance as he picked up a familiar scent in the air. A frown appeared on his face and he growled lowly, cutting the link.

So, the heir has decided to loosen his scent and show himself. He tilted his head to one side, sensing a presence behind him.

"Shikai Kyuuseki."

The footsteps behind him came to a halt and a tall, black haired man in an undercut, with sunset coloured eyes stared at him, replying in a bold voice.

"Sasuke Uchiha."
