Let the Royal Knight selection exam...begin!
After a week's worth of training, the exam for the Royal Knights are upon the Magic Knights.
"The Royal Knights exams! I don't know what kind of test it is, but I'm all fired up! The time to show my true power has arrived!" A Purple Orca Magic Knight shouted in an exited tone of voice whilst unleashing a lot of Mana.
"Umm….even that level of power is still enough to disturb the people around you. Why don't you calm down a little bit?" Mimosa asked whilst having a small smile on her face.
"I...I'm sorry." The Purple Orca Magic Knight whilst bowing his head.
"That's Mimosa Vermilion! She was a healing magic and support-type expert, but I hear that she's starting to learn attack magic too." A magic Knight commented.
"What, she does it all? That's a royal for you. Also she's stacked." Another Magic Knight commented.
"Mimosa, don't start trouble before the exam, all right? You're as obviously rude as ever." Klaus stated as he push up his glasses.
"You're a serious worry-wart with glasses, Klaus." Mimosa said, causing Klaus to gain a startled expression on his face.
"Klaus Lunettes! He's powered up a lot in the past few months, and his steel magic is real tough to break through. I hear he's been strength training too." A Magic Knight commented before noticing someone else.
"And one of the year's top rookies, the wind spirit user!" The Magic Knight said whilst it seemed that Bell is having a one-sided argument with Yuno.
"Everybody's so tense for some reason. They should just relaxed a little." Mimosa commented before giggling slightly,
"You're too relaxed." Klaus pointed out in a slightly stern tone of voice.
"Hey! Klaus! Mimosa! It's been forever!" A voice called, causing the two Golden Dawn Magic Knights to turn around to see Asta approaching them.
"A—AAAAshta!" Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice and for some reason saying Asta's name wrongly.
"Asta! I've trained and grown stronger too! I won't lose to you." Klaus said with a smile on his face.
"A-Asta! L-l-let's do our best, all right?!" Mimosa said, stuttering slightly.
"Great! I can't wait to see what we have to…..huh? Your face is red, Mimosa. Are you okay?" Asta asked, noticing how the Vermillion hair girl's face is turning red.
"Y-yes! I-I'm just fwine!" Mimosa exclaimed in response.
"It's been a long time, so I'm nervous. AAAAH!" Mimisa shouted in response.
It was then that Asta turned his attention towards Yuno.
"Hey, Yuno! That hot spring sure felt great, huh." Asta said as he approach the Golden Dawn wind Mage.
"I lost our race up the volcano. So I'm not loosing to you today!" Asta said in a determined tone of voice.
"Did you do some image training for when lose so you won't cry." Yuno said in a blank tone of voice.
"Did I what?!" Asta exclaimed in annoyed tone of voice before starting to smirk.
"Heh heh! You kinda look like you're having fun, Yuno!" Asta said in a slightly excited tone of voice.
"You too, Asta." Yuno said, a smile appearing on his face.
"H-hot spring?! What hot spring?!" Mimosa asked, a shock expression appearing on her face.
"Last week, your cousin, Captain Mereoleone, took the Crimson Lions for some training exercise at an active volcano where they soaked in a hot spring afterwards." A voice said, causing Mimosa and Klaus to turn towards the source of the voice to see Donna, Rin, Rintaro, Tetsuo and Noelle walking towards them.
"….How does Asta and Yuno got involved with the Crimson Lion's training?" Klaus asked, becoming confused.
"Captain Mereoleone kidnapped Asta and Yuno….plus Rintaro, Vice-Captain Ryo, Captain Charlotte. Another Blue Rose Magic Knight decided to come along." Tetsuo explained, causing Klaus to widened his eyes in shock.
"That's something Lady Mereoleone will do." Mimosa said with a sheepish smile on her face.
"Please don't remind me…." Rin muttered with a frown on her face.
"What's up with her?" Klaus asked, becoming curious.
"She's just upset about not being taking part in the Crimson Lion's training." Donna responded, making Klaus raise an eye-brow whilst Rin started to pout.
"It sounded good, doing training at an active volcano and then a hot spring." Rin muttered, sounding annoyed.
"Don't worry. I'm sure that you get the change at some point." Mimosa said in a reassuring tone of voice.
"…." Rin became silent as she crossed her arms.
"Hey. Those are the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights." A Magic Knight said, glancing towards the Holy Sword of wielders.
"It looks like that they are stepping out of the shadows." Another Magic Knight commented.
"Does anyone anything about them? I hear that they have fewer members than the rest of the Magic Knight squads." A third Magic Knight asked, becoming curious.
"That isn't important right now, it seemed that a lot of powerful Magic Knights have entered the Royal Knights test." The first Magic Knight said, causing the other two nod their heads.
"I can hear you." Tetsuo thought, hearing the conversation thanks to his high hearing.
"Are you guys nervous? I'm certainly am." A person said, causing everyone to turn their heads towards the speaker.
"….Finral? Is that you?" Donna asked as he raise an eye-brow, becoming curious.
"Yes its me! How much different do I look!?" Finral exclaimed in response.
The reason for this is because the Black Bull spacial Mage has a different haircut, being more wavy and having some light green dye in it.
"Quite a bit…." Donna responded, causing Finral to sigh sadly.
"I got Vanessa to do it for me, decided to get a new look." Finral explained, making Donna nod her head slightly.
"Although it doesn't do anything about your still scared personality." A voice suddenly said, causing everyone to turn their heads towards the source of the voice to Luck approaching them.
"Luck! Do you have to say that in front of everyone?!" Finral exclaimed, which only cause Luck to laugh in response.
"Who else is coming from the Black Bulls?" Asta asked, becoming curious.
"Its just me and Luck. Captain Yami decided to sent two of the Black Bulls into the test. He decided to kick me into the test without consent whilst Luck and Magna fought for the other spot...and Charmy is here somewhere." Finral explained before glancing around, attempting t see the Black Bull cotton Mage.
"You should should have seen the look of defeat on Magna's face. Hahahaha!" Luck said before laughing.
"Please don't be mean towards your fellow squad member." Rintaro said, which fell on deaf ears.
"So you decided to come along, failure." A voice suddenly spoke, causing everyone to their attention towards the source of the voice once again to see Langris approaching them, his attention being on Finral.
"Langris…" Finral said, becoming tense.
"Its him. The Vice-Captain of the Golden Dawn." Donna and Rin thought at the same time, thinking back during the Diamond Kingdom's siege on Kiten.
"Do you know him, Vice-Captain?" Klaus asked, becoming curious.
"This is my elder brother who turned his back House Valude due to being a coward." Langris responded with a smirk on his face.
"So how have you been, Langris? Role as Vice-Captain keeping you busy?" Finral asked, a forced smile appearing on his face.
"I don't need to answer a question such as that." Langris responded, gaining an annoyed expression on his face.
"You could have responded nicely." Donna said with a frown on her face.
"I don't need advice from you! Its your fault that I got lectured by Captain Vangence about my performance during that mission back in Kiten." Langris said, glaring at the wielder of Ikazuchi.
"I was simply giving my report to my Vice-Captain Ryo who simply told Captain Vangence about your performance." Donna explained whilst shrugging her shoulders.
This caused Langris to growl before turning around and walked away from them.
"You really shouldn't have done that." Klaus said whilst pushing up his glasses.
"I was simply telling the truth." Donna responded, making Klaus sigh.
"What a racket there're making. so embarrassing…" Noelle thought before glancing towards to the side…..which happens to be a mistake.
"Solid!" Noelle exclaimed in her head before starting to pale and sweat.
"You better look away if you want to keep calm." Tetsuo said as he gently took Noelle's shoulder and turned her around.
"T-thanks." Noelle said before taking a deep breath.
Tetsuo glanced over his shoulder and saw that Solid is look at Noelle with an evil smirk on his face.
"Lady Acier will be very disappointed in the way you behave." Tetsuo though before sighing.
"It's good to see you all. Let the Royal Knights selection test begin" A voice suddenly said, causing everyone to look up at the upper balcony of the colosseum to see Julius and Marx.
This immediately caused everyone to salute.
"I'll explained the test myself. After all, it's royal! Royal!" Augustus said as he appeared next to Julius.
"The exam will consist of a teeeeeeeeem competition! The magic crystal destruction battle tournament!" Augustus announced in a loud of voice.
"A tournament?" Everyone thought at the same time, becoming curious.
"This is the magic crystal you're going to destroy!" Augustus said as he showed the Magic Knights a large, light blue crystal.
"The rules are simple! Protect your own team's crystal, which will be placed in your area….and destroy the other team's crystal! The first to do this wins! If no team is able to destroy the crystal within the 30 minute time limit, the one that has the most damage to its target wins. We've chosen this format because….uh….ermmm….because, uh….." Augustus began to explain before trailing off, seemingly haven forgotten what else to say.
"In battles against the Eye Of The Midnight, various squads will have to work together. We thought this would be the best way to measure cooperation and strategy skills, which you'll need at times rather than simply fighting with brute force." Julius explained, causing a shock expression to appear on Augustus's face.
"Also I bet I'll get to see lots of their non-combat spells this way."" Julius thought just as the Magic Knights started to mummer amongst themselves.
"It was like the time when we lost our spells due to Storious's magic." Klaus said, making Rintaro nod his head.
"Getting right to it then, these are the teams!" Julius said, making Marx activate his magic, making a holographic screen appear which show names in groups of three.
"Lets see…..Oh! I'm with you, Mimosa!" Asta said as he spotted his name on the screen.
"I-I-I'm with Asta?! I'm happy, but...I'll have to concentrate on the test or else…..?" Mimosa began to panic before noticing something.
"Staria?" Mimosa asked, looking at Asta with a confuse look on her face.
"Yeah. That's my surname. I managed to recover some of my memories." Asta explained, causing the Vermillion hair girl to widen her eyes.
"Wow! Congratulations!" Mimosa said with a smile on her face.
"Thanks. So our last member is Xerx Lugner…." The ash-white teen said before glancing around, expecting to see a Magic Knight approaching them.
However, no one approached the two.
"…..What's going to happen to us?" Asta asked as he glance towards Mimosa, starting to become slightly worried.
Mimosa was about to say something, but a voice suddenly spoke.
"Scuse meee! I'm late." The voice spoke just as male with red hair and blue eyes whist wearing black clothes, except leaving his chest wide open but including a mask which covers the lower half of his face, jumped down from the top of the colosseum.
"Well, I bet our Wizard King here will forgive me for being a couple of minutes late. Right?" The male asked as he landed next to Julius and placed an arm around his shoulder.
"I'm Xerx Lugner. Nice to meet you." Xerx said with a grin on his face, showing sharp teeth within his mask.
A slight confused expression appeared on Julius's face.
"I ran into this old lady in distress on the way here, see. As a Magic Knight, I helped her out, but it made late. My bad." Xerx explained whilst starting to pat Julius's shoulder.
"I see. Is the old lady all right?" Julius asked in a concerned tone of voice.
"Oh yeah, she's just great." Xerx responded, making Julius nod his head slightly.
"Get away from from him, churl." Marx said as he raised a Mana-covered hand towards Xrerx.
With quick reflect, Xerx managed to dodge the Mana-bullet.
"Hey now. That's not safe. What are you trying to pull?" Xerx asked as he landed on the ground amongst the Magic Knights.
"No. what are you trying to pull?!" A Magic Knight shouted in an angry tone of voice.
"First you're late, and then your insolent!" A second Magic Knight exclaimed, equally angry.
"The Wizard King's one of the handful of men Char respects!" Sol shouted.
"What do you think you're doing to the Wizard King?!" Asta shouted whilst pointing a finger towards Xerx.
"All right, okay, everybody calm down." Julius said with a small smile on his face, attempting to calm the angry Magic Knights.
"Huh. I see. Everybody respects the Wizard King." Xerx commented as as he scratch the back of his head.
"Well, I have no respect for the guy, so don't push your values on me, worthless rabble." Xerx said as he place a Purple Orca Magic Knight robes.
The comment caused all the Magic Knights to become more angry towards Xerx.
"Well. It looks like we're on the same team, you and me. Let's get along." Xerx said as he approach Asta and Mimosa.
"….Yeah sure." Asta said in a slightly unsure tone of voice before shaking Xerx's hand.
When Xerx pulled his hand away, Asta noticed that he's holding a small bug.
"Hm? What th-!" Asta began to say but was cut off as the bug let off some gas.
"GHHHAAAA! It stinks!" Asta exclaimed in a horrified tone of voice as he fling the bug away.
"Keh hee hee! That's a rainbow stinkbug, the rankest bug in the Clover Kingdom." Xerx explained with a grin on his face.
"Is….this….your….idea of getting….along…..?" Asta questioned, still suffering from the smell.
"…..No. I don't have any intentions of getting along with a dense, hyper active guy with a moronic face." Xerx responded simply, causing a tick-mark to appear on Asta's forehead.
"Are you even gonna try at all?! You're here to get picked for the Royal Knights, right?!" Asta asked in annoyance.
"What, me? I'm here to make of you people." Xerx responded simply, causing a confused expression to appear on Asta's face.
"Is that man really the Vice-Captain of the Purple Orcas?" Rintaro asked a nearby Purple Orca Magic Knight.
"He's been stationed at the borderlands, so only a few people know him. But he certainly looks different than the rumors I've heard." The Purple Orca Magic Knight responded with a thoughtful expression on his face.
This caused a worried expression to appear on Rintaro's face.
"Right then, now that everyone's here. Let's get to the battlefield. Cob, if you please." Julius, said, turning his attention towards a male with fluffy brown hair, blue eyes and wearing fancy clothes.
"Yes-yes-yes, sir!" Cob said in an energetic tone of voice before activating his magic.
"Spatial Magic?" A few Magic Knights thought as they saw Cob creating a door which opened, revealing a portal.
When the Magic Knights walked through the door/portal, they found themselves in a large open area with different terrains dotted about the place, the Magic knights themselves standing on a large stone platform.
"This is the field for the magic crystal battle tournament?! It's huge!" Asta exclaimed with stars in his eyes.
"The battlefield has a wide range of different areas. Use them to display your powers to the fullest. Here's the tournament chart, which we have determined by lottery in advance." Julius explained just as Marx activated his magic again, creating a holographic screen showing the battles.
"Battle wins and losses won't directly affect whether you pass or fail. That said, the more you win, the more you'll be able to your true skills. Since you have the chance, I strongly encourage all of you to aim for the championship." Julius further explained as the Magic knights examine the screen.
"So we're taking on Yuno's team….in the finals, huh? I'm absolutely gonna keep on winning until I get there…...No! Actually, I'm gonna be champion." Asta thought, a grin appearing on his face.
"It looks like that your team is going to be in the first battle." A female voice commented.
"...Oh yeah! Didn't took notice of that! Thanks." Asta said just as he turned his head to see who has spoken.
"Reika Shinda?!" Asta exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as he stare at the messenger of the Sword Of Logos.
"What are you doing here?" Noelle asked as she and the rest of the current Magic Knights of the Sword Of Logos noticed Reika's presence.
"Master Logos was informed about the Royal Knights test and decided to send me to observe the battles." Reika explained, causing the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights to become tense.
"Did Miss Shinda got to the battlefield before us?" Noelle thought as she glanced around, noticing that there are few servants about.
"Whose that woman the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights are talking to?" Augustus asked, looking at Reika with a confused expression on his face.
"Her name is Reika Shinda, who is the messenger of the Sword Of Logos who works underneath Master Logos." Julius responded, but Augustus just gained a more confused expression on his face.
"Master...Logos? I thought the captain of the Sword Of Logos is that Sophia woman?" Augustus asked and Julius gained a sheepish expression on his face.
"Actually, the Sword Of Logos has branches in different locations across the world with all of them taking orders from Master Logos, the supreme leader." Julius explained whilst scratching the back of his head.
"Supreme leader?! How big is the Sword Of Logos?!" The Royal King exclaimed in his head, gaining a shock expression of his face, whilst starting to feel threatened for some reason.
"Right then! Lets get the first battle started. You may attack your opponents. However, naturally, you mustn't kill them. We got a high-level recovery Mage on standby, so fight to your hearts' content!" Julius exclaimed, ignoring the shock expression on Augustus's face, whilst starting to feel excited.
"All Right! Let's the first round begin!" A servant announced when teams A and B are on different sides of the battlefield along with their crystals.
"Taking an attitude like that with the Wizard King….Unforgivable." A Silver Eagle Magic Knight from team A said with a serious expression on his face.
"Let's do this!" Asta exclaimed with an excited expression on his face.
"What are you skipping around for? This is a test, looser. Take it seriously. We've got this to do, dim bulb. Like studying the lay of the land and learning each other's powers." Xerx said with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Rrgh….Gnrrrrgh! There you go, saying stuff that's super correct." Asta said with an angry expression on his face.
"Every word I say is always correct, you lousy runt." Xerx responded simply, making Asta more angry.
"Okay, you two. Calm down." Mimosa said with a small smile on her face.
"Asta's cute when he goes "Gnrrrrgh" too…." The Vermillion hair girl thought, inwardly giggling.
"Xerx's right. First, let's learn each other's powers and put together a strategy. Our opponents must be doing that as well. I use plant magic, and I'm particularly good at recovery and support. Asta uses fire magic in conjunction of wielding a sword, along with summoning additional support. What sort of magic do you use, Xerx?" Mimosa asked after explaining her plan of action.
However, before Xerx can say anything, they're crystal got attacked.
"What the?!" Asta exclaimed as he turned his attention to where the crystal got struck.
"An attack from the other team?! So soon?! Where did it come from?!" Mimosa thought as she looked in the direction that the attack came from.
"At any rate, I have to get the crystal out of danger!" Mimosa thought again as she begin to cover their damaged crystals in vines.
However, the crystal got attacked again.
"Again! I think they're long-distance attacks...but they're so accurate!" Mimosa thought, starting to sweat slightly.
"How are they doing that?!" Asta exclaimed as he whipped his head in the direction that the attack came from.
From within a forest area of the battlefield, the Magic Knight from the Coral Peacocks is positioned in a tree which is head covered in a crystal-made helmet which has two large eye-pieces.
"Shift three meters towards ten o'clock. That scoundrel! Mock the Wizard King, will he?" The Coral Peacock Magic Knight instructed to his teammates who have combined their fire and rock magic to create a large crossbow.
"Roger that! We won't give him the opportunity to show his stuff!" The Silver Eagle Magic Knight said as he prepared to fire again.
A few seconds later, team B's crystal got attacked for a third time.
"If they keep this up, this is going be over real fast! Let's work together and-" Asta began to say whilst turning around to his teammates…..but found Xerx fast asleep.
"Seriously, what the heck is wrong with this guy?!" Asta exclaimed in his head, becoming annoyed again whilst Mimosa gained a tick-mark on her forehead.
"What are you lying around or?! Get up! If this keeps up, we're going to loose! What happened to all that super correct stuff you were talking about earlier?! Hey! Do you want to win or something?!" Asta shouted, which cause Xerx to wake up.
"The thing is, I don't mind if we loose. I dunno how badly you want to win, and I don't care. Don't hit me with all stuff. I pulled an all-nighter last night, and I'm beat. People can't move if they don't sleep. Sleep takes top priority right now." Xerx explained, which cause Asta and Mimosa to become more angry towards him.
"That Xerx scoundrel! He's sleeping!" The Coral Peacock Magic Knight, whose name is Rick Cornell informed his teammates.
"Maybe it's some kind of strategy?" The Silver Eagle Magic Knight, whose name is Curtis Wolne, suggested, but Rick shook his head.
"No. my crystal scope detects the physical state of anyone it looks at. Right now, he's fast asleep." Rick explained.
"After he was rude to the Wizard King! Irresponsible and arrogant! We really can't let him away with that!" The Crimson Lion Magic Knight, whose name is is Forti Gliff, said with an angry expression on his face.
"No matter what they've got up they're sleeves, they never win if they don't move. We'll end it right now." Curtis said before preparing to fire a flaming arrow whilst feeling slightly sorry for Asta and Mimosa have a teammate like Xerx.
"Plant Creation Magic: Magic Flower Guidepost." Mimosa announced as she created flower which then showed a map of the surrounding area.
"Two of them are near their team's magic crystal and the other is about 60 meters ahead of them, up in a tree." Mimosa said as she studied the map before noticing something.
"Mana is building in the two in back! I think it's a combo spell! They're attacking!" Mimosa said she observe the ongoings of their opponent.
"Got it!" Asta said as he get himself ready.
"It maybe a super fast attack, but I just need something to block it faster!" Asta thought as he took out "Saiyuu Journey" and opened it.
Saiyuu Journey!
The red-boarded Wonder-Ride book announced and a red mechanical monkey wielding a staff suddenly appeared, spinning it's staff.
The flaming arrow struck the spinning bow instead, protecting the magic crystal.
"Yes! You did it, Saiyuu Journey!" Asta exclaimed with a grin on his face, causing Saiyuu Journey to make happy noises.
"A staff wielding monkey?!" Mimosa exclaimed, becoming shock before glancing towards Xerx…..who has returned to sleeping.
"Loosing one team member isn't an issue for us since your able to summon additional support, Asta. Let's leave mister useless along and deal with this ourselves. I'll pinpoint the enemy's position and hold them down while you, and any addition support, protect the crystal. Then the two of us will close in on their crystal and destroy it together." Mimosa explained as she approach Asta and Saiyuu Journey.
"Wow. Mimosa must have gone through a lot of battles if she can make that sort of plan." Asta thought whilst Saiyuu Journey cheered.
"Right! Let me get changed first." Asta said as he began to take out his Seiken Sword-Driver from his Grimoire.
With Mimosa, the Vermillion hair girl started to blush.
"T-that sound so lewd!" Mimosa thought as she and Saiyuu Journey watch Asta take out "Storm Eagle" and placed it within the center slot of the Seiken Sword-Driver, causing the standby sound to start playing.
"Henshin!" Asta shouted before unsheathing Rekka.

Rekka-Volume one: When the giant eagle and the sword of flames meet, the crimson sword creates a tornado!
The Sieken Sword-Driver announced, transforming Asta into his Eagle-form.
"Here we're go!" Saber exclaimed as he activated his wings and took into the skies.
With Saiyuu Journey, the red mechanical monkey grabbed Mimosa around the waist, making the Vermillion hair girl surprise, whilst creating a red cloud to jump on and follow the swordsman of flames.
"Huh, check that out! Those two just charged ahead by themselves." A Magic Knight commented, focusing their attention on team B.
"That sword wielder is interesting, being able to summon additional support." Another Magic Knight commented, glancing towards the cloud-riding Saiyuu Journey.
"The last member of team B...is he asleep? Is it a ploy?" A third Magic Knight questioned, becoming confused.
"So depending on abilities….the fights can end up like this too!" A fourth Magic Knight exclaimed, becoming slightly nervous at the prospect at the other battles.
"Isn't that sword wielding boy supposed to be based on a dragon?" Augustus asked, glancing towards Julius.
"Saber's main theme is that of a dragon. But he, and the rest of the Magic Knights of the Sword Of Logos, is capable of altering his armor, coming up with new combinations." The Wizard King explained, causing a bead of sweat to trickle down Augustus's forehead.
"The Magic knights of the Sword Of Logos are capable of doing that?! And summon beings for additional support!" The Royal King exclaimed in his head.
Augustus then coughed, regaining his composure as a question appeared in his head.
"What sort of bird is the boy's armor based on?" Augustus asked, becoming curious.
"Unless Saber found another bird-themed Wonder-Ride book, then he's using the "Storm Eagle" Wonder-Ride book." Julius replied, causing Augustus to gain a shock expression to appear on his face.
"An eagle?! Why isn't it silver then?! Well, at least the colour is close to Vermillion…" The Royal King thought, a small frown appearing on his face.
"Sir, Julius." A voice said, causing the Wizard King to turn his head to the side to see Marx with smaller version of the battle timetable in front of him.
"Is there something wrong, Marx?" Julius asked, becoming concerned.
"I just found something that looks strange." Marx responded as he put the timetable in front of Julius.
"Look at Asta's name." Marx said, causing Julius to become confuse before looking at Asta's name.
"Hm?" Julius said whilst raising an eye-brow before glancing around.
"Miss Fukamiya!" Julius called, causing the swords-woman of lightening to turn her attention towards the Wizard King.
"Yes, Sir?" Donna asked as she approach Julius.
"Why has Asta written a surname?" Julius asked as he point towards the name "Staria".
"That's Asta's actual surname. He's been suffering memory loss for a while, but it was only recently that he recovered some of his memories." Donna explained, causing Julius to widen his eyes.
"So is Asta related to a woman called Richita Staria? Sophia mentioned that the previous wielder of Rekka is called by that name." Julius asked, becoming curious.
"Yes, Aunt Richita is Asta's mother." Donna responded, causing Julius and Marx to widen their eyes.
"So Rekka has basically been passed down from mother to son!" Julius and Marx thought at the same time, with the Wizard King feeling excited.
"Why are those two acting like that?" Augustus thought as he glance towards Julius and Marx.
"Tch! They're easily dodging our attacks and closing onto us! It seems apparent that they have someone who can detect positions to! They've almost reached mid-ranged!" Rick said as he observe team B, minus Xerx but including Saiyuu Journey, flying towards them.
"I can see them! The crystal and the two protecting it." Saber said as he started to descend.
"Here they come!" Forti exclaimed, starting to sound nervous.
"Don't panic. Our crystal is untouched, and theirs is already falling to pieces." Curtis said in a calm tone of voice.
However, it was at that moment that Mimosa's Grimoire opened and a large flower-like plant started to materialized behind her.
Saber started to moved to the side as he notice flower-like plant appearing.
"Plant Magic: Magic Cannon Flower." Mimosa announced and a beam of light suddenly shot out of the head of the flower-like plant, heading straight towards team A's crystal.
"Rock Magic: Rock Fortress!" Curtis announced quickly, creating a large dome to block the attack.
"Mimosa! When did you lean an awesome attack spell?!" Saber said whilst glancing over his shoulder.
"I just been training to become stronger!" Mimosa responded, causing a grin to appear underneath Saber's helmet.
"Wow. Mimosa is covering all areas of combat." Saber thought, becoming excited.
"There are two of them...should we approach and surround them?" Curtis asked, sounding cautious.
"He basically disappeared during Captain Mereoleone's hot spring training, along with the Silva girl, so I didn't the chance to see what he's capable of." Forti thought, gaining a frown underneath his helmet.
Saber, Mimosa and Saiyuu Journey became surprise when both Curtis and Fortis came out of the rock dome in different directions, each one having a sphere, made from their respective magic.
"They split up! Which one has the crystal?" Saber asked, glancing towards Mimosa who has activated her "Magic Flower Guidepost" spell.
"This response….it's the left one!" Mimosa responded, causing Saber to turn his attention towards Curtis.
"Got it!" Saber said as he started to fly towards the Silver Eagle Magic Knight.
Suddenly, Curtis stopped moving and turned around.
"Swordsman of flames! Take my strongest spell if you can!" Curtis said as he summoned large shards of rock which burst our of the ground, heading towards Saber, who have landed on the ground.
"What a vast concentration of magic!" Mimosa thought, gaining a surprise expression on her face.
It was at that moment that the Vermillion hair girl notice something on he map.
"There are two similar responses! The other two also have powerful mid-range attack spells." Mimosa thought before realizing something.
"And Saber's position…..they're planning on taking him out with a combined attack!" Mimosa thought, starting to become worried.
Luckily, Saber realized what is happening.
"Hah! I can simply fly into the air to avoid getting hit!" Saber said as he prepared to jump into the air, getting his wings at the ready.
However, when one of Saber's foot touched a spot on the ground, a magic circle, with runes and a symbol in the center, appeared which cause a huge amount of ash to burst out of the ground.
"Saber?!" Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as she saw Saber seemingly paralyzed.
"One of them can use paralysis trap spells?! When in the world did they….?" Mimosa thought, starting to become confuse.
"Now!" Curtis shouted just as the attack spells began to converge onto Saber.
Acting quickly, Saiyuu Journey dived off the red cloud and landed next to the paralyzed swordsman of flames before pressing the open "page" of "Storm Eagle" and then getting out "Brave Dragon" and doing the same.
"Those beings are protecting their master?!" Forti thought in a surprise tone of voice as he and the two team members of team a thought as he watch Saiyuu Journey, Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle surrounding the swordsman of flames in a protective manner, the latter two seemingly understanding what is happening.
"However, it won't do any good. They're still going to get hit by the attacks." Rick thought just as the three attacks came closer to Saber and the three mechanical beings.
Suddenly, three magic circles, them having the same design as the first magic circle, appeared in front of the incoming attacks and when the attacks hit then, the spells got adsorbed into the circles.
"What?!" All three members of team A shouted at the same with shock expressions on their faces.
Before anything else can be done, the three spells came out of three circles…..but in the direction that they came from.
The watching Magic Knights, Wizard King and Royal King gained shock expressions on their faces as they watch team A getting hit by their own attacks.
"What just happened?!" One of the Magic Knights exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
Meanwhile, Xerx began to stand up, him having woken up due to the what has happened.
"Well, that worked." Xerx stated before starting to move.
"What was that?" Mimosa questioned as she started to heal Asta, whose actual body seemed to have been affected by the sudden spell despite wearing armor, before glancing at the defeated team A.
"But despite that, that Silver Eagle Magic Knight managed to protect their magic crystal." Mimosa thought as she noticed that team A's crystal is covered in broken fragments of rock.
Noticing the still intact crystal, Saiyuu Journey rushed forwards and smashed it's staff against the surface, destroying it.
"Crystal magic stoppage confirmed! Team B wins!" The announcing servant announced….in a slightly muffled tone of voice.
"Who performed that magic which sent those attacks flying back towards their casters? Was it Xerx's doing?" A Magic Knight questioned.
"It can't be. He was fast asleep the entire time." Another Magic Knight responded.
"Oh well. We won though." Mimosa said with a smile on her face, making Saiyuu Journey, Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle to cheer.
"H-how…..did we…..lost…..?" Curtis managed to say despite his damaged state.
"Is this what the Magic Knights, tasked with protecting the Clover Kingdom, is capable of? What a joke." A voice commented, causing Mimosa, Curtis and the three mechanical beings to glance in the direction that the voice came from to see Xerx approaching them.
"W-what….? T-that magic…..was your doing?" Curtis asked as he struggled to get up off the ground.
"Yeah. That's my magic." Xerx said as he walked up to Curtis and suddenly stomped on his head, shocking everyone, including Asta, who seemed to have blacked out when he got hit by that unknown spell.
"It seemed that you're short on imagination when it comes to unknown magic! Magic Knights have to consider every possibility when they fight, moron! If people could win by getting all fired up and launching monster-sized spells, life would be easy!" Xerx exclaimed as ash started to dance around him in a frighteningly manner.
"Ash? The he set the trap spell that Asta triggered." Mimosa thought in realization.
It was then that Xerx turned his attention towards Mimosa and Asta.
"Great work, well done. Nice team-work. You were great lure." Xerx commented as he approach his fellow teammates.
However, in response, Saiyuu Journey, Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle made angry noises at him.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! We've won, didn't we?" Xerx asked whilst raising is arms slightly, but not feeling intimidated.
"That's not how teamwork supposed work, Xerx." Asta stated as he slowly got up off the ground, sounding angry.
"What's the problem, my trap defeated them, right?" Xerx said in a uncare manner.
"That was your trap I fell into?!" Asta shouted, becoming more angry.
"This man's magic….he probably seals magic effects in the terrain, or even objects, by drawing magic circles, then uses certain conditions to activate them. That trap activated after Asta triggered the earlier trap. It responded to magic that entered the area within a certain time frame. A counter-trap spell. It sent the magic back with it's speed and force doubled." Mimosa thought, rethinking the traps that Xerx set up.
"A huge trap spell like that must have taken an enormous amount of Mana and time! When did you set the traps? You were asleep the entire time." Mimosa asked, becoming curious.
"That's secret. Men must be mysterious." Xerx responded before laughing slightly.
"Tell us!" Asta shouted in response.
"That was a bad performance, Asta." Reika said to the wielder of Rekka.
"Erk…." Asta said whilst freezing slightly.
Right now, team A and B have returned to the viewing platform where the messenger of the Sword Of Logos has taken Asta to the side and gave her review on the battle.
"That was due to being slow to protect your crystal at the start of the battle and falling into that trap." Reika explained, making Asta depress.
"But we didn't know that Xerx's trap was there in the first place, even my "Magic Flower Guidepost" spell didn't picked it up." Mimosa explained, she decided to join Asta.
A few feet away, Brave Dragon attempted to nuzzle the Vermillion hair girl, but was held back by Saiyuu Journey and Storm Eagle.
"True. But that won't be good in an actual battle." Reika pointed out, causing Mimosa to gain a slightly nervous expression on her face.
"But still…..I am curious as to when Xerx placed those traps in the first place….." Reika commented, gaining a frown on her face as she glanced over her shoulder, attempting to spot Xerx, but the vice-captain of the Purple Orcas has disappeared.
"Mimosa, darling. Have you finished getting reviewed by this woman?" A male voice asked, causing Mimosa to freeze.
"Oh no….." Mimosa moaned as she started to make a face whilst Asta and Reika turned towards the source of the voice to see a male with gold eye and Vermillion hair. Over his shoulders is the robes of the Coral Peacock Magic Knight squad and for some reason, he seemed to be sparkling.
"That colour of hair…." Reika thought as she glanced towards Mimosa.
"Who is this sparkling guy?" Asta questioned, gaining a shock expression on his face at the sparkles.
"He's….my big brother. I wish he'd go away…." Mimosa responded, turning her head to the side.
And here we go, the beginning of the Royal Knight selection exam which starts with Team A Vs Team B. So the Magic Knights from the Sword Of Logos that have decided to take part in the exams are Asta, Noelle, Rintaro, Rin and Tetsuo. So the first battle shows Saber transforming into his Eagle form, which caused Augustus to comment on the colour, along with summoning the being that resides within the "Saiyuu Journey" Wonder-Ride. So Reika has been sent by Master Logos to observe the exam, mainly observing performance of the Sword Of Logos. So Kirsch made his appearance at the end of the chapter.
So in Revice, Giff has started to infect the citizens with parasite-like beings before launching another attack. These actions also start to cause mental harm to the Rider's inner-Demons, apart from Kagaro, and Sakura noticed a wound on Lovekov's back. Speaking of the cobra-themed Demon, Lovekov seems to start speaking in outside world like she did in Sakura's mind. Vice has been brain-washed by Giff as well. The "wound" on Lovekov's back could be something different since snakes do shred their old skin. This may be related to the new form that Jeanne will gain.
So we have a better image of Kamen Rider Igarashi and it looks okay but the design of the armor seems to lean more towards Revi rather than a balance between all three sibling Riders. Information about the Chimera Driver, used by Kamen Rider Chimera and Kamen Rider Daimon, has been shown that it was created by George before it was got stolen by the Demon known as Chic who then embedded one of Giff's eyes into the Driver before handing the Driver to Azumi, with the eye giving Azumi/Daimon the ability to separate humans from their inner-Demons. George then created a second Chimera Driver and embedded the other eye of Giff into it.
With Chic, he's the inner-Demon of Masumi before getting transferred into George for some reason and was released when George attempted to transform into Kamen Rider Chimera himself. Speaking about George, I found out that he was originally meant to be the original and first user of Kamen Rider Demons. I think this was changed due to how Hiromi was planned on getting killed in the first episode, thus making Hiromi becoming Kamen Rider Demons instead, even though George did transformed into Demons once. However, George will transform into a Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Juuga, which is mostly repaint/kit-bash of Kamen Rider Daimon and Kamen Rider Chimera including the Chimera Driver and "Chimera" Vistamp, which has the images of all the animals that are included in the ten Vistamps that Revice has used.
With Geats, information have been revealed concerning the Desire Driver/collectable items and Geat's forms. The Driver itself is blank where the participants of the "Desire Grand Prix" place circular disk known as an ID Core to transform into their base entry form. The collectable items for the next series are called Raise Buckles which are slotted on either side of the Desire Driver, in a similar manner to how the Ride-Watches are placed in the Ziku-Driver. So Geats, and possible the other Riders of the series, will have a mix-and-match element with the forms, similar to Kamen Riders W and Build, with the changes going with the upper body and legs. However, a key difference with the mix-and-match element is that Geats, and the other Riders, can use one Raise Buckle at a time and altering their armor by swapping the two pieces around, through spinning the Desire Driver around. Currently, the Raise Buckles that have been revealed are the "Magunum" Buckle, "Boost" Buckle, "Hammer" Buckle, "Water" Buckle, "Arrow" Buckle and the "Zombie" Buckle .
The form(s) that we see Geats on the posters are called Magnum, the white armor, and boost, the red armor. There is also a image of Geats using the "Water" Raise Buckle. With the "Zombie" Buckle, it will be used by the, possible, secondary Rider, Kamen Rider Buffa, who's image hasn't been shown yet.
It has been revealed that the series has been influenced by battle royal games such as Fornite and Apex Legend. There is also a rumor that there could be up to 50 Riders appearing in Kamen Rider Geats, which was planned with Kamen Rider Ryuki, but never happened. This makes sense since this upcoming series is a tournament-based one. So due to the two Rider's names have connections to animals, the rest of the Riders will have animal-based names with the ID Core providing the animal theme and have at least two personal Raise Buckles each.

2) Sorry, but we're skipping straight into the Royal Knight selection exam.
3) Concerning the returning chapter, I've read a comment where the person gave their opinion that chapter 332 may start some time after the Spade Kingdom Arc, like a month or so, because it would look strange if the chapter starts immediately after the invasion after the Manga having been on a long break. However, I believe that there would be a few flashbacks such as Liebe's introduction into the Black Bull, plus Nacht's return into the squad, Yuno possibly introducing his mother to his friends, shocking everyone, especially those who were in the Heart Kingdom before Vanica attacked, and a flashback which involves Nozel telling the truth about Acier's death mainly to Nebra, Solid, Mereoleone and Fuegoleon. The other members of Royalty may be optional.
4) Yep, Giff is taken a frontal approach with infecting the citizens and summoning large amounts of Demons to fight the Kamen Riders. Lets hope that the gang manage to release Vice from Giff's brain washing quickly.
5) With Kamen Rider Igarashi, I would be happy if the "form" was just for Revi rather than a fusion form between him and his siblings. I'd imagine Genta trying to persuade the security officer that the Destream Driver is a fan-made Driver that a Kamen Rider fan has made...which technically is true.
6) I think that due to the themes of the Raise Buckles, Geats's, and the other Rider, forms will be based on objects whilst the ID cores carry the animal theme. Weapon-wise, it has been revealed that the gun weapon of Geats is called the Magnum Shooter 40X which is capable of transforming into a rifle-mode and a handgun-mode. With the other weapons, since Geats is equipped with a literal water-gun through the "Water" Buckle and possible a hammer through the "Hammer" Buckle, Geats, and the other Riders, will have a whole range of weapons to wield.
7) Brave Dragon's behavior towards the female members of the house of Vermillion is influenced by Asta...that will cause Asta to gain questioning looks from everyone when they find this out.
8) Yes, that's the one thing that I'm confused about, the cape not disappearing when the wings appeared.
9) Asta will find out about Richita being friends with Acier eventually.
10) I guess that Yukimi will be dragging Daiji back in order for him to take responsibility for his actions.
11) Everyone will definitely be keeping a close eye on Rin when she's around Asta...especially Charlotte.
12) The final battle is a good opportunity for Destream to make his final apperance.
13) Whilst that is true that Hiromi's health won't be effected anymore, regaining his lost time will be challenging.
14) Noelle will likely be the one to slap a hand over Kahono's mouth when she finds out what Kahono and Sora are talking about.
15) Yep, Noelle and Mimosa will certainly have red faces when they hear Rin said that whilst Donna will be covering Asta's ears.

B) Although Lucius will be slightly relieved that it's purely a story rather than a prediction of his future plans of becoming the Wizard King. That would cool for Liebe to be partners with Hiromi instead of Asta, granting Demons a OC/Devil Union form...although he may have objections about residing in the Demons Driver when Demons is fighting.
C) Richita could be at the Acier Vs Vanica/Megicula fight since Asta was born on teh 4th of October, or late September since October the 4th is the day that Asta was left at the orphanage, whilst Noelle is born on the 15th of November. However, Richita, as Kamen Rider Vail, will still be recovering from giving birth to Asta along with having little cooperation from the female version of Vail, since she is still angry at how Richita has given birth two times, so she will be having a difficult time helping Acier fight Vanica/Megicula. It could be that Richita told Nozel to say that it was Vail who cursed Acier, knowing that Noelle will be blamed for Acier's death before disappearing in order to protect Live/Evil and Asta from Vail's anger.
If Nebra and Solid were present at the battle as well and held hostage by Vanica, then I don't believe that they will torment Noelle, believing that her lack of magic control is due to getting traumatized when they got held hostage. Nebra will act like a proper sister whilst Solid...he will likely act in awkward brotherly manner.
Kamen Rider Yokai:
1) I'm going to keep quiet about the promise for now...
2) Yes, it's good to see a new theme entering the franchise and how to meet Kris and Geats would interact each other, it kind of difficult at this point since we don't know what sort of personality Geats has, but everyone else will be confuse and curious as they notice how different his, and his fellow Kamen Riders, armor are from anything they have seen before.
P.S: I'm guessing that you're a fan of Naruto as well.
3) Thanks for telling me about Kris's Wonder-Combo, but I'm not sure about the puppet being the Story-based Wonder-Ride book though.

1) Xross Saber will be roughly the same level has a single ruling Devil, but will defiantly have a hard time fighting all three at the same time.
2) I'm not sure if Seires Kristall, and the other fan-made Holy Swords, will be included in the Haoken, since I got yelled at a while ago about not changing a Rider's form in any way, buy I have an idea on they can still be included into Saber's final form.
3) Mars will appear at some point, not sure yet though.
