I don't own Star Wars: The Clone Wars or its characters. I only own Nadia Aomori, her family and my other OCs.

Chapter 27: Overlords
Mysterious message!
A transmission has been intercepted far beyond the outer rim, deep in the Crelythiumn System.
Why the call has been made and from where cannot be established.
But buried in the message is a Jedi distress code that has not been used in over 2,000 years.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker along with their Padawans Ahsoka and Nadia are sent to investigate.
Fearing a Separatist trap, they are to meet with a heavily armed Jedi Cruiser…
From out of the blue, the Jedi received a message transmission which included a 2000 year old Jedi distress code.
Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka and Nadia were sent out to the Chrelythiumn system, where the call was picked up, to investigate.
The group were to rendezvous with Anakin's new Star Destroyer commanded by Rex.
But even though they are at the exact coordinates, they couldn't perceive each other.
Anakin sat next to Obi-Wan while Ahsoka and Nadia sat next to each other in the Jedi shuttle.
"Rex, do you read me?"Anakin questioned."We're at the rendezvous point awaiting your arrival, where are you?"
"Sir."Rex spoke up."We're at the rendezvous point and there's no sign of you on our scanners."
"Oh, come on."Anakin retorted and looked at Obi-Wan."That's impossible, we're at the exact coordinates where the distress signal originated but there's nothing here and Rex is at the exact coordinates and he's not here either."
"This is getting interesting."Obi-Wan admitted.
"Unable to find you."Rex declared."Where are you, sir?"
Then the hologram of Rex went off.
"Something's blocking the signal."Ahsoka stated.
Suddenly, the shuttle powered down which started the four Jedi.
"Okay."Nadia said with a nervous smile."Am I seeing things or did the shuttle just powered off by itself?"
"Not good."Obi-Wan replied.
Ahsoka then stood up from where she sat.
"Everything's dead, even the life support."Ahsoka complemented.
"Hmm…this is really strange."Anakin declared.
"I totally agree."Nadia admitted.
Then the shuttle powered up again.
"There, see?"Obi-Wan said with a smile."Nothing to be concerned about after all."
"Then what's that?"Ahsoka asked looking at something.
There the group saw a gigantic crystal-shaped structure in front of them.
Nadia's eyes widen as she got off her seat.
"Now that's just creepy."Nadia retorted.
The shuttle started to head to the gigantic crystal-shaped structure by itself.
"It's pulling us towards it."Ahsoka commented.
Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia saw light coming out from the strange object.
"Everyone, strap yourselves in."Obi-Wan ordered as the two girls sat back on their seats and strapped in."Looks as though we're going for a ride."
Then an irresistible force pulled the Jedi's shuttle into the gigantic crystal-shaped structure.
Soon after there was black out.
Afterwards…
Nadia groaned in exhaustion as she opened her eyes and saw her companions also awakening within the cockpit of their shuttle which had inexorably settled down on an unfamiliar world.
"What the hell happened?"Nadia muttered.
"I must have blacked out."Anakin said.
"Then who landed the shuttle?"Obi-Wan asked.
"Not me."Ahsoka admitted.
"Me neither."Nadia replied.
"Where are we?"Anakin asked.
The group saw the view in front of them had green plants around it.
"Some kind of organic mass."Ahsoka suggested."All of our readings indicate that it's bigger than an asteroid."
"But at least the atmosphere is breathable."Nadia added with a hint of relief.
"Well, this is getting more unusual by the minute."Obi-Wan stated."I can't even lock down where in the galaxy we are or if we are even in our own galaxy."
Anakin checked the shutte's systems and saw nothing was out of place.
"Well, the ship's systems seem fine."Anakin stated."But for whatever reason, nothing's working."
Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia walked out of the shuttle and onto the grass.
Nadia had a curious look as she looked at the view.
Obi-Wan took out his small binoculars to see things more better.
"Master Kenobi, I saw something."Ahsoka said while pointing at a direction in the distance."A reflection up on the hill."
Obi-Wan looked through his binoculars.
"I don't see anything, Ahsoka."Obi-Wan responded.
Nadia glanced at the sky in the atmosphere.
"Floating rocks? And stars in the morning sky?"Nadia thought curiously."Looks like more like a dreamland from one of the stories that my mother once told me about from the books that Jayden used to read to me..."
Then Anakin heard a voice.
"Are you the one?"
"What the?"Anakin asked."Did you hear that?"
"We didn't hear anything."Obi-Wan replied.
"Are you the one?"
The four Jedi looked behind them and saw a glowing woman behind them.
The woman was beautiful with long teal hair and green eyes and she wore a stylish white dress.
"Hello."Obi-Wan sneered while holding his chin and smiling.
"Who are you?"Anakin asked, placing his fists on his hips.
"I am Daughter."the Woman replied."Are you the one?"
"Uh...the one what?"Anakin asked with a irritated tone.
"I will take you to him."the Daughter replied.
"Him, who?"Ahsoka questioned.
"Did you bring us here?"Nadia assumed.
"Only he can help you."the Daughter replied."There is little time. Follow me, we must have shelter by nightfall."
She turned around and started walking away.
"And we thought the planet was strange."Anakin said quietly."How about this one?"
"We'll be fine as long as we stay together."Obi-Wan replied.
The four Jedi started following the Daughter.
They were now walking in a path carved into a side of a mountain.
"Have you noticed the seasons seem to change with the time of day?"Obi-Wan asked.
"Yeah."Anakin replied.
"And there are no animals."Ahsoka complemented.
"Its like this place has dreamlike environments."Nadia admitted.
Obi-Wan looked at Anakin.
"And you sense it?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"Mm-hmm, since we arrived."Anakin responded."The Force is...very strong."
"An intersection unlike anything I've ever felt before."Obi-Wan complemented."Be wary."
"Excuse me."Anakin spoke up while looking at the Daughter."Who are you taking us to?"
"The Father, of course."the Daughter replied.
Ahsoka glanced at Nadia.
"Of course."Ahsoka joked.
Nadia slightly snickered at her best friend's response.
"And what exactly are you?"Obi-Wan asked.
"We are the ones who guard the power."the Daughter replied."We are the middle, the beginning and the end."
"Glad she cleared that up for us."Anakin said quietly with a smirk.
Then the four Jedi notice the green grass turning dark red as if they were dying.
This caused Nadia to step back a little, feeling something sinister not so far away.
"Hey!"Anakin shouted."Look out!"
Anakin pushed the Daughter away while the three jumped out of the way.
Obi-Wan slipped off and now held onto the edge, but Ahsoka and Nadia quickly helped him up.
"Thank you."Obi-Wan thanked.
"You're welcome."Ahsoka and Nadia answered in unison.
Then Obi-Wan contacted Anakin in his comlink.
"Anakin, are you there?"Obi-Wan asked.
"Are you all right? But our friend here has run off!"Anakin replied."Go back to the ship and try sending another distress call, I'll follow her and find out how to get off this rock."
"And if this is a trap?"Obi-Wan asked.
"Then I'm not gonna wait around to find out."Anakin infotmed.
"Anakin, stop! Wait for us to find another way around and meet you!"Obi-Wan said and then the signal went off. "Anakin?"
Then there was no reply.
"So reckless and impatient."Obi-Wan said folding his arms.
"Don't worry, Master Kenobi."Ahsoka assured with a smile."He'll eventually find a way back to us."
"Yes and what else?"Obi-Wan questioned.
Just before Nadia can reply, a thundering sound was heard and dark clouds appeared in the sky.
"Storm's coming."Ahsoka murmured.
"Let's head to the ship."Nadia admitted.
A while later, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia headed back to the shuttle.
But when the three Jedi arrived, they notice their shuttle was gone.
"The ship's gone."Ahsoka said.
"Yes, I see that."Obi-Wan admitted.
"It was here, no question."Ahsoka answered.
Nadia then notice it was already night time and the plants were dying.
"Look, everything's dying."Nadia whispered in fear.
"Did you lose something?"
Ahsoka turned with Obi-Wan and they saw a man in black and had sinister glowing red eyes.
Nadia narrowed her eyes at the Son and activated her lightsabers, sensing something evil about the figure before her and her companions.
"You didn't do as you were asked."the Son reminded.
"And what was that?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"My sister said to wait!"the Son stated sternly.
"Did she now?"Obi-Wan scoffed."Well, we were unfortunately separated, we'd like our ship back if you don't mind."
"Not yet."the Son answered."Is it true that he is the Chosen One?"
This caused Obi-Wan to activate his lightsaber while Ahsoka activated her own lightsabers.
"What do you know of such things?"Obi-Wan demanded.
"What is about to happen shall occur whether you like it or not."the Son replied.
The Son waved his hand causing the three Jedi's lightsabers to deactivate.
"You're a Sith Lord."Nadia scowled coldly.
Then it started to rain in the area.
"Sith Lord? Yes and no, Nadia Aomori."the Son answered, shocking Nadia by hearing that the monster knew her name."The storms here are quite lethal. If you and your friends want to live, I suggest you find shelter."
The Son changed into a Gargoyle and flew off.
"What in the universe was that?"Ahsoka questioned.
"I have no idea."Nadia admitted with a hint of suspicion."But he somehow knows who I am."
Then thunder sounds were heard, alarming the three Jedi.
"Quick."Obi-Wan insisted."There's a cave over there."
Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia quickly headed to a cave entrance to get shelter for the night.
Later that Night...
Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia fell asleep in their own separate sides.
However, Obi-Wan woke up from his slumber and saw the two girls were still asleep.
"Obi-Wan, have you done as I asked?"A voice asked."Have you trained the boy?"
Obi-Wan turned around and became surprised upon being met by the Force spirit of Master Qui-Gon.
"Master Qui-Gon."Obi-Wan said while standing up and activating his lightsaber."How are you here?"
"I'm here because you are here."Qui-Gon answered.
"No, I don't understand."Obi-Wan replied with uncertainty."What is this place?"
"Unlike any other, a conduit through which the entire force of the universe flows."Qui-Gon declared.
"Are we in danger?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"This planet is both an amplifier and a magnet."Qui-Gon declared."Three are here who seek Anakin. They, like me, believe him to be the Chosen One."
Obi-Wan deactivated his lightsaber.
"You're right."Obi-Wan agreed."The Force within him's stronger than any Jedi and Sith and only my new apprentice can match him since she has his personality and is a direct descendant of Darth Nihilus. I trained Anakin as well as I could, but he's still willful and balance eludes him."
"If he is the Chosen One, he will discover it here."Qui-Gon commented.
"And if not?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"Then you must realise with his power, this is a very dangerous place for him to be."Qui-Gon informed.
Obi-Wan looked down in thought.
Then when he looked back up, Obi-Wan saw the Force spirit of his late Master was gone.
Ahsoka was sleeping peacefully, but her slumber was soon disturbed when she heard a voice.
"Are you happy, child? Your Master, does he treat you well?"A female voice asked."And your best friend cares a lot about you?"
Ahsoka looked around and saw no one, but when she looked again she saw a Torguta woman in front her.
But the surprising thing was the older Torguta looked just like her.
"What concern of it is yours?"Ahsoka demanded.
"I am your future, your potential."Future Ahsoka replied.
Ahsoka immediately activated her lightsabers, glaring at the being before her.
"This is a trick."Ahsoka scowled with a frown.
"There is a wildness to you, young one."Future Ahsoka explained grimly."Seeds of the Dark Side planted by your Master and best friend. Do you feel it?"
"No."Ahsoka replied."He's like no other Jedi. Passionate and impulsive, but I trust him with my life and the same goes with Dia."
"There are many contradictions in you and in them."Future Ahsoka admitted.
Her words struck Ahsoka, making her go in deep thought.
"Be warned, you will never see the future if you remain his student and your best friend is a monster now that you know her dark past and why she can match Anakin!"Future Ahsoka warned strictly."Leave this planet!"
Then Future Ahsoka disappeared in the fire.
Ahsoka woke up from her vision and looked at Nadia, who was fast asleep.
The teenage Torguta then fell asleep in deep thought of what her future self said.
Nadia continued sleeping peacefully in the rock she rested against.
"Nadia."A soft male said."Nadia. Wake up."
Nadia's ruby red eyes opened, only to become utterly shocked at who was in front of her.
The person before her was a handsome young man in his early 20s with with mahogany brown hair and deep greyish coloured eyes. He wore the traditional Corellian Jedi Robes.
It was her late older brother; Jayden Horn.
"Hey, little sister."Jayden greeted.
Nadia gasped in disbelief, only to tumble back and trip from the rock she slept on.
"J-J-Jayden?"Nadia asked in disbelief."No! This is impossible!"
"Come on, nothing's impossible, Nadia."Jayden remarked.
Nadia stood up from where she laid and glanced at her older brother in suspicion.
"How? How are you here?"Nadia questioned."How is this even possible?"
"Well, I could ask you the same thing."Jayden replied as he sat in a nearby rock."How are you here, when I know for a fact, that staying always in the Jedi Temple in Coruscant."
"I'm in the middle of a mission."Nadia declared firmly."Though I was until I ended to whatever this place was."
"But there are times that you prefer to sneak out than being in the Jedi Temple?"Jayden guessed smugly.
"I don't sneak out."Nadia scowled and then looked down in embarrassment."Well, at times I do without my Master and the Jedi Council even realising."
"You leave the Temple right under their noses?"Jayden chuckled."It's good to see nothing's changed. Still the same old Nadia."
Nadia smiled at her older brother, feeling touched by his words.
"You've always understand me more than anyone."Nadia stated with a sad smile.
"Nadia, why are you fighting for the Jedi?"Jayden asked.
"Fighting?"Nadia said in confusion."I have to help them stop Darth Sidious from enslaving the galaxy to build his new evil Empire and restoring the Sith to power."
A scoff escaped from Jayden's mouth.
"Jedi are supposed to be keepers of the peace, little sister."Jayden declared."Not soldiers."
"I know, but what choice do I have?"Nadia questioned with a frown."Despite the problems caused by the Clone Wars, most of the Jedi on Coruscant are still emotionless machines like Grandma Valerie said."
"It sounds that they don't treat you fairly."Jayden assumed.
A small smile grew on Nadia's face.
"It's not all bad."Nadia assured."Though, I'm a little homesick at times and…I miss you along with everyone else."
"Nadia, don't walk to the path of the Jedi."Jayden stated firmly."Incredible power awaits you beyond anything you can imagine. The Jedi on Coruscant are holding you back from unleashing your true potential because they know who you are."
Nadia became confused at Jayden's reply.
"What are you saying, Jayden?"Nadia asked."We've been always trained to be Jedi from when we were still kids. How can we-"
Then a sudden realisation hit Nadia's head causing the raven haired girl to glare at her 'older brother'.
"You're not my older brother."Nadia retorted.
"What are you talking about, Nadia?"Jayden questioned."I'm Jayden. Your big brother."
"No! You're not!"Nadia scowled in anger."I had an older brother! But…but he is dead!"
A look of fury appeared on the face 'Jayden' before his eyes glowed red and he changed into the gargoyle creature before roaring at Nadia in rage.
"THEN YOU ARE DOOMED LIKE THE REST!"the Gargoyle announced dangerously.
"Nadia."
Nadia immediately snapped out of her nightmare and gasped in pure horror.
She then saw Obi-Wan and Ahsoka with concerned looks with their faces.
"Are you alright, young one?"Obi-Wan questioned."You looked like you were having a nightmare."
"Something like that, Master, but based on something from my past and caused by the Daughter's brother."Nadia exclaimed with pain in her voice and then changed the subject."What's going on?"
"I had a vision, Dia."Ahsoka declared."I think Anakin may be in trouble."
Afterwards, the three Jedi were walking out of the cave as the daylight came out making the dead plants turn green and grow again.
"The longer we stay here, the stranger this place gets."Ahsoka informed.
"It appears the planet is renewing herself."Obi-Wan complemented.
"What about Master Skywalker?"Nadia asked.
"Anakin will not be easy to deceive, young one."Obi-Wan replied.
Out of nowhere, a Griffin flew by and grabbed Obi-Wan while the Gargoyle from before grabbed Ahsoka and Nadia.
The two winged beasts flew them towards a temple sitting on a mountain.
The Griffin lowered Obi-Wan onto one side of a large circular courtyard with a symbol and the Gargoyle lowered Ahsoka and Nadia onto the other far side while keeping a grip on the Jedi's shoulders.
The trio noticed Anakin and an old man wearing a grey robe and a pointed hat with a long white beard standing in the middle.
"Whatever he wants, don't do it, Master!"Ahsoka protested.
Nadia growled as she tried to get her left arm free from the Gargoyle's grip.
"Let go!"Nadia growled in anger.
Anakin glared at the Father.
"Let them go."Anakin demanded."I won't play your games."
"Oh, you will."the Father replied."I have ordered my children to kill your friends. The question is which one will you choose to save: your Master or your apprentice and her closest companion? You must now release the guilt and free yourself by choosing."
"No!"Anakin growled in defense.
"Their powers are too strong for us, Anakin!"Obi-Wan assured."Save Ahsoka and Nadia!"
Anakin glared at the Griffin and the Gargoyle.
"Let them go."Anakin demanded sternly.
"Only you can make my children release them."the Father reminded.
"Anakin, the planet is the Force."Nadia declared."Use it."
"You will let them go!"Anakin ordered.
This caused his voice to echo in the area.
The lines of the symbol glowed before he moved both hands in opposite directions quickly, sending out a repulse that caused the two beasts and the three captive Jedi to take a step back.
Anakin turned his palms upward and slowly started to raise them as the two beasts lifted off the ground now under his power of the Force.
The sky suddenly turned night time with the only light coming from the griffin and glowing symbol.
Lighting crackled in the sky as Anakin made the beasts release the three other Jedi before they fell to ground on one knee and stood back up.
Anakin made fists and brought the two beasts a few feet forward before extending his arms with his palms out sending them into opposite sides of the courtyard walls.
The beasts got back up and hovered in the air as they advanced on the three Jedi as they activated their lightsabers.
"Down!"Anakin commanded.
The Gargoyle was thrown to the ground before turning to the Griffin and pulling them both towards him as they roared in protest.
"On your knees!"Anakin ordered.
Anakin used the Force to make the Daughter and the Son change back into their normal forms before onto their hands and knees as they panted.
The Jedi Knight then relaxed a bit as the Father walked up behind him.
"And now you see who you truly are."the Father said."Only the Chosen One could tame both my children."
Anakin panted a bit as the Son and the Daughter looked up at them.
Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia walked up to them as Anakin spoke to the Father.
"I have taken you test."Anakin commented."Now fulfil your promise and let us go."
"Ah, but first you must understand the truth."the Father replied before looking at the others."Now all of you, leave us."
"Do not trust him."Ahsoka whispered.
"You think?"Anakin asked.
"I said, leave us."the Father ordered sternly.
Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Nadia and the Father's children then left Anakin and the Father by themselves.
"Do you feel your destiny?"the Father questioned."You must see it now. I am dying, and you must replace me."
"Replace you?"Anakin scowled."I can't stay here."
"But this is yours, it has been foretold."the Father explained."The Chosen One will remain to keep my children in balance."
"No."Anakin replied with a frown.
"I cannot force you to do this."the Father declared."The choice must be yours. But leave and your selfishness shall haunt you and the galaxy."
Afterwards...
Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia were at the temple's landing pad which was where their shuttle was.
Ahsoka and Nadia walked up the shuttle's ramp while they stood next to Obi-Wan as Anakin stood at the bottom of the ramp.
"Ready to get out of here?"Obi-Wan asked.
Anakin looked at the temple one more time before following his companions into the shuttle.
Then the Jedi shuttle flew away from the temple.
