I don't own Star Wars: The Clone Wars or its characters. I only own Nadia Aomori, her family and my other OCs.

Threads of Destiny
Chapter 28: Altar of Mortis
Sent to discover the origin of a mysterious distress call.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker with their Padawans, Ahsoka Tano and Nadia Aomori all stranded on a distant planet.
Later they discover three beings, more powerful with the force than any jedi have seen before.
The Father keeps a fragile balance between his daughter, who allies with the light side and the son, who drifts ever closer to the dark.
With his strength failing, the Father asks Anakin to stay and take his place, preserving the balance between light and dark.
But after passing a perilous test, Skywalker refuses.
Now, we find our heroes about to depart for their journey home or so they think…
In the Sky...
The Jedi shuttle was flying away while Anakin and Obi-Wan were piloting in it.
Nadia was sitting down on a crate while thinking about seeing her older brother, but was actually the Son in disguise that was trying to trick her in joining the Dark Side.
It was not only that.
The Son tried to do the same with Anakin by pretending to be his dead mother, Shmi Skywalker.
"The Father. The Daughter. The Son."Nadia thought with a troubled look."These beings are the three and only powerful Force wielders who resided in the realm of Mortis. The Daughter and the Son, represent the light side and the dark side of the Force, respectively. Balance was maintained between them by the Father. But now his failing health is compelling him to search for a successor and wants Anakin to be the one since his the Chosen One."
Nadia then looked at her hands.
"I'm trying to become a Jedi Knight even though part of me carries bad blood due to a descendant of the Lord of Hunger."Nadia thought with a frown."But I don't want to end up being like him. Not now. Not ever."
Ahsoka walked up to Nadia, noticing something was bothering her best friend.
"Hey, Dia."Ahsoka responded."Are you okay?"
"Yeah, Soka."Nadia replied."Just thinking about something."
"And that is..."Ahsoka started.
Nadia let out a sigh.
"Fine. I'll tell you."Nadia said quietly."I saw someone in the nightmare that I was having. At first, I thought it was my older brother. But instead it was-"
Suddenly, the shuttle started to shake a little bit which alarmed the four Jedi.
"What was that?"Nadia questioned.
Then Nadia became shocked when she turned around and saw the Son strangling Ahsoka.
The door behind the raven haired girl shut as she activated her lightsabers.
"Let her go!"Nadia demanded angrily."Take me instead!"
"Leaving so soon?"the Son asked."Not without this, you won't."
The floor hatch of the shuttle then opened and the Son jumped out with Ahsoka as she yelled in terror.
"Ahsoka!"Nadia shouted.
Nadia deactivated her lightsabers before she ran to the cockpit to warn Obi-Wan and Anakin.
"What's going on?"Obi-Wan asked.
"The Son took Ahsoka!"Nadia admitted bitterly.
Anakin's eyes widen in shock.
"Huh?!"Anakin gasped.
"What in the blazes are you talking about?"Obi-Wan demanded.
"No time to explain! Less talking more flying!"Nadia snapped and looked at Anakin."Follow that Gargoyle!"
"With pleasure."Anakin replied.
Anakin started pulling his steering control to the side making the ship turn around.
Nadia quickly sat at one of the seats at the back.
Anakin soon caught up with the Son as they started to fly through a canyon with some large stone spires.
The Jedi Knight managed to swerve around a few of them and as he was now directly behind the gargoyle.
Then the gargoyle shot off faster with a burst of speed and into some dense fog.
Anakin pushed the shuttle to go into it before the shuttle suddenly came upon a giant glowing green orb on a tower.
"Yikes!"Nadia cried out.
"Look out!"Obi-Wan warned.
Anakin took control back, but it was too late.
A few warning beeps went off before they suddenly crashed into the ground and slid at least 30 feet away from where they crashed before coming to a stop.
The two men clutched their heads with one of their hands in pain.
Obi-Wan's chest and head lay on his side on the dash as the consoles around them sparked from being broken.
Nadia laid against the closed door as she rubbed her waist.
"Ow."Nadia muttered in pain.
"I didn't think you saw it."Obi-Wan said.
"It was a giant tower."Anakin argued."Of course, I saw it."
The shuttle opened and the three Jedi went out of it.
"Any sign of him?"Nadia asked.
"No."Obi-Wan replied."But I think it's obvious where he's taken her."
Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Nadia took a few steps forward and looked at the tower they almost crashed into.
"We must hurry."Anakin stated.
Just before Anakin and Nadia could start running to the tower, Obi-Wan went in front of them.
"Anakin, Nadia, this wasn't a mistake."Obi-Wan declared."He brought us here for a reason. We must not get involved. Any conflict here could have dramatic repercussions for the universe at large."
"I don't care."Anakin responded."He's too powerful for Ahsoka."
Nadia nodded at Anakin.
"I agree."Nadia said as she started walking away."I won't leave her alone too."
"Young one, we are in the middle of something we don't truly understand."Obi-Wan informed."We'd be wise to confer with the Father first. This is what he wants, to divide us."
"It's my fault he took her! Ahsoka is my best friend!"Nadia growled and sighed when she looked down."I'm not gonna to stand by and do nothing."
"Besides, you already know the Father won't help us, Master."Anakin reminded.
Inside her prison cell within the tower, Ahsoka scowled in annoyance as she tried to free herself.
"You cannot keep me here!"Ahsoka called out."You hear me?"
Then a small creature walked up to Ahsoka.
"Save your energy."the creature insisted."You have been left to die."
"Then I will escape."Ahsoka replied.
"Impossible."the small creature said."I have been here for more years than I care to remember."
"I am a Jedi."Ahsoka stated."We don't give up easily."
"Jedi? Huh."the small creature said and looked at her."But so young, where is your master?"
"He will come for me."Ahsoka said.
"And if he does not?"the small creature asked.
"He will."Ahsoka stated."And so will my friend."
"What makes you so sure?"the small creature questioned.
The creature releases Ahsoka from the chains that held her.
"Thank you."Ahsoka thanked.
"The chains. The chains are the easy part. It's what goes on in here that's hard."the small creature said."Don't you see, child? You are alone now. If you are to survive, you must forget your master and close friend."
Ahsoka looked down in thought.
How could she abandon Anakin and Nadia?
Anakin was her master.
Nadia was her best friend.
They meant a lot to her.
"I don't think I..."Ahsoka started.
Upon seeing that Ahsoka's bond with Anakin and Nadia was strong, the small creature bites Ahsoka in the arm.
"Ow!"Ahsoka scowled in pain."What have you done?"
"You are mine now."the small creature said darkly.
Then Ahsoka became dizzy and collapsed on the floor while clutching her arm.
The creature smirked as he morphed back into its true form, the Son.
His bite now infected Ahsoka with the dark side of the Force and it caused her to undergoes a horrifying change.
Meanwhile…
Obi-Wan shook his head as he arrived to the monastery where the Father, the Daughter and the Son were.
"Anakin and Nadia."Obi-Wan murmured."Always on the move."
The Jedi Master did tell his apprentice and former apprentice to wait, but both Anakin and Nadia still headed off to the Son's tower to try and rescue Ahsoka.
Of course, Ahsoka meant a lot to all of them.
She wasn't just Anakin's apprentice and Nadia's best friend.
"I HATE YOU!"the Son's voice roared out.
Obi-Wan brought his attention to the entrance of the monastery, just in time to see the Son let loose with his anger and blasts the Father with Force lightning sending him down the stairs and where he stood.
The Son changed into his gargoyle form causing Obi-Wan to duck down as he flew into the night sky.
"Father!"the Daughter yelled out.
The Daughter hurried down the stairs as she and Obi-Wan checked on the Father.
Obi-Wan then helped the Daughter bring her father back inside the temple to rest.
Upon Father's sick bed, Obi-Wan implored the Daughter to assist him in stopping the Son before he escapes the planet.
"We will leave him to rest."the Daughter declared.
"I must talk to him."Obi-Wan stated.
"Not until he's stronger."the Daughter clarified sternly.
"But your brother is losing himself to the dark side."Obi-Wan reminded."He's taken our friend."
"Then he must have his reasons."the Daughter responded.
"The same reason he had for attempting to murder your father?"Obi-Wan questioned.
"He would never do such a thing."the Daughter assured.
"But I saw him."Obi-Wan reminded.
"It is not his fault."the Daughter exclaimed."My nature is to do what is selfless, but my brother's will always be to do what is selfish."
"Then know you must help us."Obi-Wan insisted.
"I cannot interfere with the ways of the Force."the Daughter reminded as she stood up."My father forbids it."
"Your brother will flee this place and wreak havoc on the universe."Obi-Wan warned.
The Daughter stopped walking at Obi-Wan's declaration.
"You, Nadia and Anakin combined have the power to stop him."Obi-Wan stated.
"Come with me."the Daughter insisted.
The thunder kept booming in the dark sky as the Daughter then led Obi-Wan to a cavern which contained an altar holding a blade formed by pure Force.
The inside of the cavern was dark and surrounded by cyan coloured flames which was the exact colour as Nadia's first lightsaber.
"I can go no further."the Daughter commented."When you reach the altar, it will give you what you need."
"I-I don't understand."Obi-Wan replied.
"He who wields the blade will be able to control my brother."the Daughter declared.
Obi-Wan then quietly made his way down to the bottom part of the cavern to get the blade that will stop the Son.
The Jedi Master then looked up at the Daughter, who nodded at him which meant she silently accepted what has to be done.
Anakin and Nadia were climbing their way to the Son's tower to rescue Ahsoka.
"Say, Anakin."Nadia said with a sad frown."Do you enjoy your life as a Jedi Knight?"
"Of course I do."Anakin answered and glanced at the raven haired girl."Why do you ask?"
"N-Nothing."Nadia responded simply.
"If you have something to say spill out, Kitty."Anakin commented.
Nadia frowned at the nickname that Anakin usually called her before she continued talking to him.
"It's just if my relationship with Ferus reaches the next two levels, there'll be a likely chance the two of us will step out of the damn war if it just keeps continuing."Nadia declared, trying to find the right words."I mean I-"
"You prefer living a normal life with Ferus that doesn't contain being in a war zone almost everyday and has you two as parents."Anakin finished smugly."I get what you mean. That's actually the type of life I want to live with Padme."
Nadia smiled at Anakin, happy that the Jedi Knight understood her and desired the exact same thing she wanted too.
Live a normal life with the people they love when the Clone Wars ended with the defeat of Darth Sidious and the Sith.
Soon, Anakin and Nadia eventually made it to the top as thunder continued rumbling in the background.
To their relief, the two of them saw Ahsoka with her back turned and meditating in what appeared to be a garden area which doubled as a place to practice duelling.
"Soka!"Nadia said happily.
Nadia attempted to walk up to her best friend, but suddenly paused herself in doing so.
Something didn't feel right.
"Ahsoka, it's us!"Anakin declared."You're safe now! Let's go!"
Both Anakin and Nadia checked each side and saw the Son wasn't around.
"Are you proud of me, Master?"Ahsoka asked slowly.
Nadia suddenly felt butterflies in her stomach at Ahsoka's sudden strange tone.
This didn't sound like this was her best friend.
This sounded like someone else.
"What? Uh, of course, Snips."Anakin remarked."Course I'm proud of you. Now, let's get out of here."
Ahsoka opened her eyes and stood up to look at her companions.
"He's right. Right about everything."Ahsoka said informed with a innocent yet sadistic look."You both must join him, he only wants what's best for the universe."
Nadia became disturbed to see her best friend's eyes yellow as the ones of the Sith and corrupted by the Dark Side as a horrible realisation occurred to her.
The Son infused Ahsoka with part of his own soul, bringing out her insecurities and resentments along with her other more aggressive tendencies.
"Hey, what's wrong with you?"Anakin demanded with a frown.
"Always with the criticism, Master. Never really believing in me, trusting me."Ahsoka retorted while rolling her eyes and turned away away from her friends."Well, I don't need you anymore."
"Don't say such things, Soka!"Nadia snapped."The Son corrupted you with the Dark Side! I know you full well! You would never say such things!"
"Please don't act like you're better than any of us, Nadia."Ahsoka retorted with an evil smile."You despise the Jedi because they aren't fond with the powers that you possess and you would like to kill them all. But who could blame you? It runs in the family."
Nadia became shocked and outraged at what Ahsoka just said.
"Now you're just talking rubbish!"Nadia growled."I'm a descendant of Darth Nihilus, but I'm nothing like that monster!"
"Ahsoka, listen to me!"Anakin protested."He has done something to you! Snap out of it! This isn't you, Ahsoka!"
"Isn't it? I feel more like myself than I ever have."Ahsoka said with a crazed smile and frowned."He asked me to give you both a message. He said if you two don't join him, he will kill me."
Ahsoka let out a creepy giggle.
A look of utter fury appeared on Nadia's face.
She was so getting the Son back for this.
"As if we'll let that happen!"Nadia growled with an enraged look.
"Then you will be forced to kill me!"Ahsoka announced coldly.
Ahsoka turned to face her friends and activated her lightsaber.
Both Anakin and Nadia shook their heads in shock.
Then Ahsoka leaped up to slash Nadia, only for Anakin to quickly activated his own lightsaber to block her attack.
Nadia immediately snapped out of her shocked gaze to activate her cyan lightsaber and help Anakin fight Ahsoka.
Ahsoka was eager to tear apart her two friends if it meant making them evil, who didn't had the desire to fight her.
The Son smirked from inside his tower at feeling the anger and hate that swirled around as Anakin and Nadia fought against Ahsoka.
Then the Daughter arrived inside the chamber occupied by Obi-Wan.
"Sister. What a pleasant surprise."the Son responded bluntly and notice Obi-Wan next to his sister."And you brought a friend."
"What have you done, brother?"the Daughter demanded.
"Done?"the Son sneered."I have done what is right…"
"Or what is wrong, depending on your point of view."the Daughter retorted."Our father is dying. Did you do it?"
"He is just so selfish and was taking too long to die, so I decided to move things along."the Son scowled."Now, why are you here?"
"I won't let you leave this planet."the Daughter informed with a glare.
The Son smirked at his sister's declaration.
"You're not strong enough to keep me here."the Son sneered.
"Not alone, she isn't."Obi-Wan declared firmly.
"Are you referring to your friends, the Chosen One and Darth Nihilus' direct descendant, Kenobi?"the Son assumed."You might want to check up on them. They're a little preoccupied right now."
Obi-Wan glared at the Son in frustration before rushing off to help Anakin and Nadia.
The Son merely smiles to himself while the Daughter glared at him.
Anakin held his lightsaber tightly as he blocked Ahsoka's blades from hitting him.
"We don't want to fight you, Ahsoka!"Anakin argued.
Ahsoka then raised her foot up and kicked Anakin in the chin, sending him and his lightsaber flying.
Suddenly, Force Lightning appeared causing Ahsoka to do a few flips out of the way as Nadia had her hands raised and went in front of Anakin to protect him.
Ahsoka glared at Nadia.
"You dare use your ancestor's trick against me, Nadia?!"Ahsoka scowled.
Nadia kept her hands ready to use her Force Judgement again as she and Ahsoka circled each other.
"Please stop!"Nadia begged desperately."I don't want to hurt you!"
Nadia started using her orange lightning to hit Ahsoka, who dodged the zaps with ease.
Ahsoka then rushed forward to slash Nadia in half with her lightsaber.
Nadia quickly jumped out of the way from being hit by Ahsoka's blade.
She zapped Ahsoka's hand causing her to drop her lightsaber in the process.
Out of anger, Ahsoka used the Force to throw Nadia hard against a tree before releasing her.
The raven haired girl groaned at the pain in her back as she landed not far from Anakin was.
Ahsoka then landed on the ground to crouch down before standing back up and reactivating her lightsaber.
"And now the student will kill the master and the ally."Ahsoka announced grimly.
At that moment, Anakin silently raised his hand and calls his lightsaber back to him, prompting Ahsoka to leap high into the air to deliver a powerful downwards strike.
Anakin activated his lightsaber on time, blocking Ahsoka's strike.
"Getting ahead of yourself aren't you, Snips?"Anakin assumed.
"Don't call me that!"Ahsoka snapped angrily."I hate it when you call me that!"
Nadia stood up from where she laid and activated her cyan lightsaber again before rushing forward.
Ahsoka noticed Nadia coming, prompting her to separate from Anakin and whip around in order to defend herself from her best friend's blade.
"Don't let the Dark Side brainwash your mind, Soka!"Nadia protested."You're better than this!"
"Would you stop calling me by that nickname!"Ahsoka growled."It's utterly pathetic!"
Nadia ignored Ahsoka's response, only to get thrown back again.
Anakin quickly blocked another slash from Ahsoka's blade before using his lightsaber to make Ahsoka's slip out of her hand and into the air.
Ahsoka snarled and kicks off of Anakin's chest and landed on the ledge behind her allies and catching her lightsaber.
An evil smirk sprung on Ahsoka's face as she activated both her lightsabers this time.
Anakin and Nadia glanced at each other nervously as Obi-Wan joined them with his own lightsaber out.
"Three Jedi."Ahsoka sneered with a smirk."Finally, a challenge."
Ahsoka then resumed fighting Obi-Wan, Anakin and Nadia.
The Son smirked as he watched the three Jedi fighting against their brainwashed friend in amusement due to being fed by the negative emotions caused by the scene.
"Can you feel it, sister?"the Son asked smugly."Can you feel the anger, the hate, the fury?"
"Their conflict is feeding you, isn't it?"the Daughter assumed with a glare."I must stop them."
"No."the Son scowled deeply.
The Daughter attempted to walk out to stop the four Jedi fighting causing the Son to use the Force to throw her back.
In returned, this caused the Daughter to lift up the Son from where he stood after waving her arms and calling the light side of the Force to her aid
She then slams her brother onto the ground beneath the steps of his throne.
"If you will stand in my way, then I guess we must fight."the Son declared grimly.
Nadia duelled against Ahsoka with her own two lightsabers as Anakin glanced at Obi-Wan.
"Any suggestions?!"Anakin asked.
"Yes."Obi-Wan replied."We cut her free."
Obi-Wan then grabbed something from his belt as it formed into the Dagger of Mortis.
"What is that?"Anakin questioned.
Nadia jumped back and went next to Anakin.
"You're say to use that dagger to-"Nadia started in shock.
Obi-Wan shook his head.
"No, young one."Obi-Wan answered."It can kill the Son."
Suddenly, Ahsoka in a deep yet demonic voice that was mixed with the Son's.
"Ugh! Where did you get that?!"Ahsoka demanded in a deep voice."Give it to me!"
Ahsoka charged at Obi-Wan and Anakin, but Nadia blocked her blades and the two of them resume their fight.
The Son unleashed his powerful red Force Lightning to attack the Daughter.
However, unlike those would get hit and thrown back, the Daughter deflects the lightning attack aside with a quick wave of her hands like it was harmless.
The Son continued shooting burst of red lightning after another, but the Daughter remained calm and continued to deflect his attacks.
Then the Daughter catches one bolt of red lightning to twirl it around gracefully before throwing the ball of lightning back at the Son.
The Son shouts in pain as he's struck by his own lightning and got thrown against a grove in the ceiling where the Daughter holds him there.
But then the Son used one hand to fire red Force Lightning at the Daughter, throwing her back and making her collapse to her knees.
"You don't have to do this."the Daughter pleaded.
"Then stand aside!"the Son snapped angrily.
The Force-wielder of the Dark Side again unleashed his red Force Lightning to zap his sister though this with both hands.
However, despite the pain in her body, the Daughter refused to allow his brother have his way.
"I can't!"the Daughter shouted."I won't!"
The Force-wielder of the Light Side then changed to her griffin form to throw her brother back.
The Griffin shrieked at the Son to stop his madness.
However, the Son growled darkly before he changed into gargoyle form to attack his sister.
The gargoyle grabbed the griffin and threw her back, making her go back to her normal form.
The Daughter recovered from her fall and used the Force to throw the gargoyle back which caused the Son to revert back to the way he was before.
Son and Daughter began duelling against each other using their Force powers to overpower each other.
The Son used his red Force Lightning while the Daughter just used the Force to shied his attacks from hitting her.
Soon however, they were interrupted by the recovered Father.
"Stop this!"the Father demanded.
The Father then hurls his two children out of the tower and among the Jedi.
The tower's glass window broke as the Son and Daughter came flying out before landing in the spot where the four Jedi had just leapt out of the away from.
The Son recovered first and stood to face the Father as he landed on the small elevated edge.
"So glad you could make it to our little party, father."the Son mocked.
The Son unleashed his red Force Lightning to hit his Father, who held both hands up to block it.
"You will stop this."the Father ordered.
The Father kept blocking while the Jedi stood back up and watched the scene.
"You are too weak for me, old man."the Son said cruelly as he began to use both hands."You mean nothing to me anymore."
A few seconds later, the Father couldn't hold it back anymore and was blasted back before landing on the ground.
The Son jumped onto the elevated area and walked up to his father.
As the old Force-Wielder sat up, the Son began electrocuting him even more.
"Anakin!"Obi-Wan called out before tossing him the dagger."Now!"
Anakin held his hands out to catch the dagger to kill the Son.
Unfortunately, Ahsoka grabbed the Dagger of Mortis in mid-air and ran to the Son before giving the Jedi a dark smirk as she held it up.
The Son paused attacking his father and turned around round to face Ahsoka.
"Everything has transpired exactly as I planned."the Son declared with a smirk.
The Father looked at his Daughter.
"You showed them the Altar?"the Father scowled weakly.
"I'm sorry, father."the Daughter apologised."I didn't know how else to stop him."
Obi-Wan helped the Daughter stand and walk a few steps forward.
The Son looked Ahsoka as he held his hand out to her.
"Give it to me, child."the Son ordered.
Ahsoka turned her head to the others to give them the same dark smirk as the Son's.
"Ahsoka!"Anakin shouted as he took a few steps back."No!"
"No!"Nadia cried as a few tears went down her face."Don't do it!"
Ahsoka looked at the dagger before looking up at the Son and handing it to him before he swung it around a bit.
"Thank you."the Son replied."Your usefulness has come to an end."
The Son touched her head with two fingers.
Ahsoka dropped to the ground and her lightsaber rolled out of her hand.
Nadia froze as a look of horror grew on her face.
"NO!"Anakin shouted in anger.
Anakin tried to run to Ahsoka, but the Son force pushed him back a few feet.
A glare formed on Nadia's face as she let out an angry yell and rushed forward to activate her lightsabers to kill the Son.
"I'LL TEAR YOU APART!"Nadia declared in hatred.
The Son simply throws red Force-Lightning at Nadia, making her shriek in pain and fall onto the ground, dropping her lightsabers.
"Nadia!"Obi-Wan shouted.
Obi-Wan went to check on Nadia as the Son brought his attention to the Father.
"The Jedi have brought me the dagger and you have brought yourself."the Son sneered while holding the blade up."Now, father, you will die."
"Father!"the Daughter yelled out.
The Daughter rushed towards her father.
The Son brought the Dagger of Mortis down just as the Daughter jumped in between them causing him to impale her in the back.
The Force-Wielder of the Dark Side pulled away from her quickly with a look of horror on his face at what he'd done just as her ethereal glow disappeared.
The Father grabbed the Daughter to keep her from falling as his son looked at his hands in horror.
"WHY!?"the Son yelled in rage.
The Son leaped into the air and flying off in his gargoyle form.
Anakin and Nadia quickly rushed to check on Ahsoka, only to find her eyes completely rolled back.
She was dead.
Anakin had a look of shock while Nadia covered her mouth as she went to Obi-Wan's arms and started crying over losing her best friend.
With Daughter dying, the balance of the Force was upset and the planet begins to descend into eternal darkness.
The Father took the dagger out of his daughter and tossed it away before laying her gently on the ground.
"My daughter."the Father said in heartbreak."What have I done?"
The Daughter just smiled sadly at her father.
"Do not hate him, father."the Daughter coughed weakly."It is his nature."
"No. All is lost. The balance has been broken. I thought by bringing you here, I would…"the Father stated regretfully and shook his head slowly as lightning was heard in the sky."But I have destroyed everything."
Anakin stood close to Ahsoka's lifeless body as he looked at the Father.
"Can you help her?"Anakin asked.
"There is no light."the Father stated."The evil has been unleashed and the Dark Side shall consume her."
Nadia released herself from Obi-Wan's embrace to look at the Father and go next to her dead best friend.
"You must help her!"Nadia cried in anger and sorrow."You have the power!"
"I cannot undo what is done."the Father answered."There is no hope."
"Yes, there is!"Anakin argued."There's always hope!"
"Please bring her back."Nadia whispered as more tears rolled down her face."I already lost so many people close to me. Not another one."
She couldn't lose Ahsoka.
Her parents, her older brother and her sister-in-law were already gone.
She didn't want to lose another person.
The Father said nothing as he closed his eyes before the Daughter got his attention and pointed at Ahsoka.
The powerful Force wielder who resided in the realm of Mortis stood up and walked a few steps away from their heads before gesturing Anakin to kneel in front of him.
Anakin did so and closed his eyes as he moved his arms the same way the Father was.
"Then let my daughter's last act be to breathe life into your friend."the Father insisted.
Anakin placed his middle fingers onto each of their heads before the Daughter glowed brightly again as it moved onto Ahsoka for a moment.
Obi-Wan and Nadia covered their eyes to protect them from the light.
Anakin stopped a second later and the Daughter was no longer glowing.
Ahsoka's skin returned to its normal orange colour and the black veins disappeared, but her eyes remained closed.
But then Ahsoka coughed a little bit as Anakin hugged her.
"Hey, Snips."Anakin greeted with a soft smile.
"What's going on?"Ahsoka asked in confusion and notice Nadia crying."Dia, why are you-"
Instead of responding, Nadia gave Ahsoka a tight hug as tears of joy fell down from her eyes.
"Oh, Soka."Nadia sobbed in relief as tears of joy went down her face."You're back."
Ahsoka then glanced at Obi-Wan questioningly for a second, but the Jedi Master gave her a small yet weak smile.
"What happened?"Ahsoka asked in confusion.
"Not much."Anakin chuckled slightly."It's good to see you."
Nadia then broke the hug and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Just to be clear. You are okay, right?"Nadia asked with a fragile smile."This isn't some dream or hallucination?"
"I'm pretty sure it isn't, Dia."Ahsoka answered smugly.
Nadia then helped Ahsoka up and Obi-Wan handed her lightsaber back to her.
The Father looked at Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Nadia.
"As the balance in this world crumbles, so shall war escalate in your galaxy."the Father warned."As my son has descended into the Dark Side, so have the Sith gained strength."
"We will stop your son."Anakin stated.
"No, you must go now."the Father declared sternly."He needs your ship to leave the planet, you must leave before he can take it."
"What about you?"Obi-Wan asked.
"I shall mourn all that I've done."the Father admitted."And all that is yet to be."
The four Jedi then hopped off the small ledge and started walking away from the Father and his dead daughter.
