The unleashing darkness
Donna released a sigh as she flies through the air.
The reason as to why the wielder of Ikazuchi is flying is because Sophia has noticed that Donna has been acting slightly frustratedly at the fact that she wasn't chosen to be a part of the Royal Knights, therefore having a good chance of encountering Daichi at The Eye Of The Midnight Sun's stronghold, so decided that Donna should take some time off duty.
When Donna attempted to protest, the captain of the Sword Of Logos insisted that she gets out to become more relaxed.
So Donna left the base with the remaining Magic Knights being Rintaro and Ryo.
"I should be there soo-ah! There it is." Donna thought as she spotted her destination in the distance.
After a few minutes, the wielder of Ikazuchi has touched down onto the ground outside her destination.
"So this is Hage village, the village that Asta has been living at for the past ten years." Donna thought as she scan the small cluster of buildings before turning her attention towards the giant Demon Skull.
"So that's the Demon that the first Wizard King supposedly slain 500 years ago. It's MASSIVE!" Donna exclaimed in her head whilst wondering what the actual height of the Demon would be if it has the rest of it's body.
"Anyway. Time to get moving." Donna muttered to herself before starting to walk towards Hage village.
Once she reached the outer-edge of the village, some of the villagers, that are working on a field, noticed her presence.
"I wonder if the villagers are friendly to outsiders?" Donna thought, starting to become worried as she faltered in her walk.
"Hey, young lady!" A farmer called, causing the wielder of Ikazuchi to jump slightly.
"Y-yes?" Donna asked in a slight startled tone of voice.
"You're from that secret Magic Knight squad that Asta joined, right?" The farmer asked as she glanced down at the Magic Knight robes.
"Yes. That correct." Donna responded, starting to become slightly on guard.
"Then welcome to Hage village." The farmer said with a smile on his face.
"Thanks." Donna said, starting to relax.
"I bet that the villagers will be excited at the fact that two members of the village have joined the Magic Knights." Donna thought, a small smile appearing on her face.
"So what are you doing here? Has Asta got himself in trouble or something?" The farmer asked before laughing, his friend joining in.
"No nothing like that…..although that sounds something that could happen." Donna said, saying the last part in a sheepish tone of voice before clearing her throat.
"Actually. I was wondering where I can the orphanage, the one that Asta and Yuno grew up at?" Donna asked, causing the two farmers to blink their eyes in confusion.
"It's over there." The second farmer said as he point towards a direction.
"Thank you." Donna said before starting to make her towards Hage's village's church.
After a few minutes of walking, Donna found herself outside the small church.
"Well. Here I go." Donna muttered before taking a deep breath and knock on the door, hoping that she will make a good impression of herself.
After a few seconds of waiting, the door of the church opened.
"Yes? How may I help-?" Sister Lilly began to ask but stop when she saw the Sword Of Logo's robes.
"Hi there. My name is Donna Fukayami. I think that Asta may have mentioned me in his letters." Dona introduce herself, causing Sister Lilly to widen her eyes slightly.
"Oh yes. You're his "sister", right." Sister Lilly said, knowing that Donna isn't Asta's sister by blood.
"Yes. That's correct." Donna said whilst nodding her head.
"What are you doing here…..Asta isn't in danger, is he?!" Sister Lilly asked, starting to become worried.
"Asta isn't in any danger! I was giving the day off, so I decided to visit Hage village." Donna said in a reassuring tone of voice.
This cause Sister Lilly to sigh in relief.
"Thank goodness. Asta has written in his letter about the dangerous stuff he's been up to whilst becoming a Magic Knight." Sister Lilly explained, making Donna nod her head slightly.
"Yes. We've been pretty much been on our toes for the last year with what's been happening…." Donna admitted whilst scratching the back of her head.
"Come on inside. I think it's better if we sit down and talk." Sister Lilly suggested, making Donna nod her head before the two of them walked into the church.
"The others are away collecting supplies I'm afraid. It's different without Asta and Yuno being here." Sister Lilly explained as she and Donna sat down at a wooden table.
"So how is Asta doing? The last letter that we'd received him and Yuno was managing to enter the final match of that Royal Knight selection exam which ended in a draw." Sister Lilly said, making Donna nod her head.
"That's correct. Actually, both of them have managed to be selected to be members of the Royal Knights are currently on a mission with the newly formed squad." Donna explained, making Sister Lilly widen her eyes.
"That's excellent news! I hope they're okay though….." Sister Lilly said, saying the last part in a worrying tone of voice.
"You don't have to worry. They're fighting along side other skilled Royal Knights, such as some of members of the Sword Of Logos. So things will be okay for them." Donna said in a reassuring tone of voice.
"That's good to hear. Did you decided to take part in the Royal Knight selection exam?" Sister Lilly asked, becoming curious.
This cause a Donna to become slightly tense.
"I did. But as you can see, I didn't managed to get accepted." Donna responded, causing Sister Lilly to gain a sympathetic expression on her face.
"So….how did Asta started to live within the orphanage?" Donna asked, changing the subject.
This cause a slight surprise expression to appear on Sister Lilly's face.
"Asta hasn't told you?" Sister Lilly asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Not in detail, no." Donna responded, making Sister Lilly sigh slightly.
"That's something that Asta would do." Sister Lilly commented, making a small smile appear on Donna's face.
"As you know, Asta was found near Hage village ten years ago…" Sister Lilly said, starting her story.
Flashback (start)
"Yuno! Be careful not to fall in!" Sister Lilly called to a five year old Yuno.
"Okay!" Yuno called back as he walked along the edge of the river, stumbling slightly over the rocks.
The nun has recently become a new resident of Hage village's church and has been suggested to spend some time with Yuno to get to know him better.
When Sister Lilly was first introduce to Yuno, she was shocked that someone with a large amount of Mana would have been left at the church.
When asked about the circumstances about as to how Yuno ended up at the church, Father Orsi simply responded that he was found outside of the church when he was an infant, completely along and having a jeweled necklace with him.
Whilst Sister Lily has become curious about where Yuno may have come from, but decided not to say anything.
As of right now, the two of them are somewhere outside the village and despite having a large amount of Mana, Sister Lilly can't help smile at how timid the little boy is.
"Sister!" Yuno called, causing Sister Lilly to become widened eyed before rushing to where Yuno is, becoming scared that something has happened to him.
However, when the nun reached Yuno, she became relieved that he's okay, but saw that he is pointing towards a body that is half in the water.
"Oh my!" Sister Lilly exclaimed as she quickly rushed up to the body and got it out the water, revealing to be a younger Asta.
"Is he still alive?" Sister Lilly thought in a worrying tone of voice as she placed an ear to Asta's chest and became relieved that there is a heartbeat.
"Is...he okay?" Yuno asked, becoming scared.
"Yes. He's okay…..?" Sister Lilly responded before noticing that there is something clutched within one of Asta's hand.
"What's that?" Sister Lilly thought, she can only that it's rectangle in shape.
The nun shook her head before picking up Asta.
"Sorry to cut this short, but we need to head back to the church." Sister Lilly said, making Yuno nod his head.
"….Urh." A voice groaned just as eyelids slowly flicker open, revealing green eyes.
"Where…..I'm I?" Asta thought in confusion as he glanced around and saw that he's in a small room and that he's on a bed.
Focusing his attention towards the window, the ash-white hair boy climbed out of bed and walked towards it.
With some difficulty, mainly due to his height, Asta managed to open the curtains and gained a shock of his life as he saw the giant Demon skull in his vision.
"Aaa!" Asta exclaimed as he stumbled back and fell onto the floor.
"Ow…." Asta muttered just as the sound of hurrying footsteps can be heard and after a few seconds the door to the room open, revealing Sister Lilly.
"Are you okay?" Sister Lilly asked in a worrying tone of voice.
Asta nodded his head as he picked himself up.
"What happened?" Sister Lilly as she walked into the room before noticing that the curtains have been drawn back.
A small smile appeared on Sister Lilly's face as she gained a good idea about what caused Asta to scream.
"Did you gained a shock when you saw the Demon skull?" Sister Lilly asked as she crouches down to Asta's height.
"Demon…..skull?" Asta asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion.
"You know the story, the giant Demon that the first Wizard King slay 500 years ago." Sister Lilly explained with a warm smile on her face.
"….Wizard King?" Asta asked, becoming more confuse, making Sister Lilly blinked his eyes.
"That's the title given to the strongest Magic Knight…..?" Sister Lilly said before starting to realize that Asta doesn't seem to know what he's talking about.
"Anyway, what's your name? I'm Lilly Aquaria." Sister Lilly introduce herself.
Asta began to open his mouth but stop.
"I don't know…." Asta said as his mind draw a blank at his mind.
It took the ash-white hair boy to realize that his entire mind is a blank.
"I can't remember anything." Asta said, starting to panic.
"He's suffering from memory lost?" Sister Lilly thought, her eyes widening.
"Don't panic, stay calm." Sister Lilly said in kind tone of voice.
Asta took a deep breath and became relaxed again.
"Why don't you open your hand and see the object you're seem to be holding tightly." Sister Lilly suggested, causing Asta to blink his eyes before looking down and saw that his right hand has been holding onto an object tightly, realizing that he's senses are slowly awakening.
The ash-white boy opened his hand, revealing the "Brave Dragon" Wonder-Ride book.
"Well. That is a peculiar object." Sister Lilly commented as she studied the object.
With Asta, as he stared at the Wonder-Ride book, an image suddenly flicked through his mind, making his eyes widened.
"What's wrong?! Did the object trigger something?" Sister Lilly asked whilst becoming alarmed and slightly hopefully that they are getting something.
"Asta. That's my name…..and I think that this belongs to armored sword wielder….." Asta said with a frown on his face.
"An armored sword wielder?" Sister Lilly thought, becoming curious.
Its common knowledge that a majority of Magic Knights use long-range combat for when they are on missions, so hearing someone wielding a sword and wearing armor is something unheard of.
"That's if the armored person is in fact a Magic Knight." Sister Lilly thought, a small frown appearing on her face as she began to think.
The expression on Sister Lilly's face caused Asta to be nervous.
"Asta. I know that this seems out of the blue, but do you mind if you stay at the orphanage, that me and someone else runs, for a while and we'll try to contact people to see if they have some knowledge about you." Sister Lilly explained, making Asta blink his eyes before nodding his head.
Flashback (end)
"And there you have it, when we failed to track down anyone that knows Asta, he started to live at the orphanage for the last ten years. He had an abundance of energy for such a young age." Sister Lilly said, a smile being present on her face.
"That's Asta for you." Donna said, a smile being present on her face as well.
"So what have you been doing for the last ten years? Were you attempting to find Asta?" Sister Lilly asked, becoming curious.
This cause the smile on Donna's face to falter slightly.
"Yes, I've been looking for Asta ever since he disappeared during the events that happened ten years ago, along with finding Luna as well. But mainly due to my age and other factors, I couldn't locate either of them." Donna explained in a sad tone of voice, making Sister Lilly slowly nod her head, she having a good guess that one of the other factors is the wide range of places that the wielder of Ikazuchi had to look, Asta having revealing that he was born within Wonder World.
"But I guess that it was pure luck that I managed to meet Asta again when he became a member of the Sword Of Logos." Donna said, a happy "expression" appearing in her eyes.
"What about the other girl, Luna? How's your search with her doing?" Sister Lilly asked, becoming curious about the second childhood friend of Asta.
"Nothing. Not even a lead." Donna responded, making Sister Lilly sigh sadly.
"You been through a lot, hm?" Sister Lilly commented, making Donna nod her head.
Back the Sword Of Logos headquarters, Fiona is doing some cleaning in one of the corridors.
"I wonder how Asta and the others are doing on their mission along with the rest of the Royal Knights?" Fiona thought as her arm automatically clean the surfaces with the feather-duster that she holding in her hand whilst her thoughts are elsewhere.
Even though only those within the Royal Knights knows about the specific details about the mission, but practically everyone knows that the mission revolves around storming the stronghold of The Eye Of The Midnight Sun and completely destroying them.
"I should prepare a victory feast for their return." Fiona thought, a small smile appearing on her face as her mind comes up with possible ideas for a victory feast.
"I wonder if it's possible to invite the other Royal Knights for the feast, making it more special. I should get permission from Captain Sophia about getting additional supplies it that idea is approved." Fiona thought, starting to become excited.
As the maid of the Sword Of Logos passed a window, she immediately stopped.
The reason for this is because a corpse is leaning against the window.
"GHHHHHHAAAAA!" Fiona exclaimed as she stumbled back and falling onto the ground, a horrified expression appearing on her face just as the corpse began to bang on the window, easily shattering the glass.
"Fiona! What's wrong?!" A voice shouted, causing Fiona to turn her head to the side to see Sophia walking out of a side corridor, she having ran to where she heard Fiona's scream.
Sophia's eyes widened as she saw the corpse attempting to climb through the window.
Without hesitating, the captain of the Sword Of Logos retrieved her gold-bladed sword from her Grimoire and swing it, cutting of the corpse's head off.
Fiona flinched as the corpse's dropped onto the ground with a heavy thud.
"Come on! It's not safe here!" Sophia said as she took hold of Fiona's arm and pulled the maid onto her feet and began to run.
"W-why?" Fiona asked as she glanced over her shoulder and jump when she saw that more walking corpses are attempting to enter the building through the same window.
After at least a minute of running through the corridors, Fiona and Sophia have reached the entrance hall where Ryo and Rintaro are fighting corpses that have most likely enter the building in the same manner that the corpses that Fiona and Sophia had encounter.
"What the hell are these corpses!?" Ryo shouted as he swing Gekido horizontally, slicing a corpse in half.
"I recognize them, these are the same corpses that attacked the Royal Capital on that day." Rintaro responded used Nagare to block a corpse's advancement towards him, but had to switch his attention to another advancing corpse.
"The Eye Of The Midnight Sun are attacking our base!" Sophia thought as she swing her sword whilst keeping Fiona close to her.
The captain of the Sword Of Logos glanced around the entrance hall and saw how it's swarming with walking corpses.
"We need to get into the open." Sophia instructed, making both Ryo and Rintaro nod their heads.
"So this is the base of the Sword Of Logos? But Asta isn't here though, this is bad for my experiments." Sally commented with a sad expression on her face.
"Who cares about your experiments. When I met Asta and defeat him, I'm going to enjoy torturing him very much." Rades commented before an evil smirk started to appear on his face.
"Oh well, at least I can get some new toys in the forms of four Sword Of Logos Magic Knights." Rades said before starting laugh slightly.
"Don't forget what our objective is here…" Valtos pointed out in a calm tone of voice.
"Then you should get going now since they are too focus of Rades's corpses." Daichi pointed out, making Valtos nod his head before activating his magic and walked through a black portal.
It was at that moment that the currently present Sword Of Logos members burst out of the base.
"Oh great! There's more waiting for us!" Ryo said as he eyed the walking corpses that are in front of them.
"Hahahahaha! So you finally stepped out, Magic Knights!" Rades called, causing the Sword Of Logos members to glance towards him.
"Sally?!" What are you doing here?!" Rintaro shouted in surprise, recognizing the girl.
"Yep, that's me! I'm glad that you recognize me." Sally said in a happy tone of voice whilst having a smile on her face.
"I'm not exactly thrilled to see you though…" Rintaro thought, sweat-dropping slightly before turning his attention towards Rades.
"Then that leaves you being responsible for controlling these corpses." Rintaro said, making Rades nod his head.
"That's right, and pretty soon you lot will be among them." Rades said, making Rintaro shiver at the thought.
With Sophia and Ryo, the two of them have their attention on Daichi.
"What are you doing here? Came to see your former place of work?" Ryo asked as he point Gekido towards the wielder of Kurayami.
"I was simply ordered to help these three to collect something here." Daichi responded in a calm tone of voice.
"Collect something…..The Magic Stones!" Sophia thought, her eyes widening.
It was then that Daichi realized something.
"Where is Donna? I expected her to start attacking me, demanding answers about what happened to her father." Daichi explained, making Sophia flinch.
"She isn't here. Donna is elsewhere." Sophia responded, gaining a nervous expression on her face.
"Out of all the times that I decided to send Donna away to get rid of all the frustration that she has been building up." Sophia thought, biting her lips slightly.
Ryo must have similar thought as frown is present on his face.
"Well. It looks like you'll be fighting me then." Ryo said as he took out his "Genbu Shinwa" Wonder-Ride book.
"It certainly looks like it." Daichi commented as he watch Ryo transform into Buster.
"Well, I hope that you are prepared." Buster commented as he got into a battle stance.
"….." Daichi suddenly became quiet.
"What's wrong? You got nothing else to say?" Buster asked, masking his confusion.
"…...No. I'm the one who should be saying about preparing yourself." Daichi explained as he took out a Wonder-Ride book.
"What sort of Wonder-Ride book is that?" The current members of the Sword Of Logos thought, noticing that it's much thicker that a normal Wonder-Ride book.
"This Wonder-Ride book represent the path that I've started to walk on." Daichi explained before opening the cover.
"Unleash the power concealed by numerous dragons within the zenith of eternal darkness…."
The Wonder-Ride book announced before Daichi closed the cover and placed the back of it against the flat side of Kurayami.
Jaou Read!
Kurayami announced, making the standby sound start to play just as Daichi placed the Wonder-Ride book into the belt buckle.
"Henshin." Daichi announced as he hit the button on the belt buckle with the hilt of Kurayami, causing the book to open, revealing a pop-up of five gold dragon heads with the center one having purple added to it and red eyes.
Kurayami, the sword of shadows!
Kurayami announced just as the larger version of the new Wonder-Ride book open, causing Jakku Dragon to burst out of the pages along with five golden dragons.

Kurayami further announced as the five dragons merge onto Daichi, granting him a new armor with the main colors being purple and black, but this time having a gold chest piece which includes gold shoulder-pads in the shape of dragon heads and gold gauntlet-like pieces. The helmet has changed so now that it resembles a purple dragon's head with the visor being red and the bottom "jaw" a gold colour. Finally, a black cape is draped behind him.
The currently present Sword Of Logos members stared at Calibur's new form with surprise expression on their faces.
"The Mana that's coming from that form…...it can't be!" Sophia thought, her eyes widen as she slowly recognizes the new Mana that Calibur is producing.
"Wow! You guys really are shocked! Anyway, let me introduce you to Calibur's new upgrade, Jaou Dragon, a form that has been created by combining the power of three Wonder-Ride books and Demonic Mana, all thanks to me!" Sally explained to the currently present Sword Of Logos members.
"Demonic Mana?! Just what are you planning, Daichi?" Buster asked, a serious expression appearing underneath his helmet.
"This power will help me in reaching my personal goal." Calibur responded as he raises Kurayami, preparing for battle.
And there we go, shifting out attention away from the Royal Knights with Donna visiting Hage village and being told how Asta came to living at the orphanage. During that time, the Sword of Logos headquarters got attacked by an army of corpse with Daichi transforming into his Jaou Dragon form.
In Black Clover, the battle between Asta and Ichika began with Ichika being able to draw Asta towards her with her Yoryoku, something that Asta noted he can't negate with anti-magic whilst Ichika commenting on how her dark yojutsu works best with Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, two forms of fighting styles. After Asta got beaten down by Ichika, she started to mock Asta's dream of becoming the Wizard King, saying that he can't be someone on equal footing as Ryuga. However, Asta noted that Ichika has something else on her mind along with being angry towards her brother, along with figuring out his style of zetten. Before the battle could continue, they are stopped by Ryuga who then sensed the presence of newcomers, them being Sister Lilly and two new members of the Paladin.
With the two new members of the Paladins, one of them seems to be Heath Grice, the enemy that Asta, plus Noelle and Magna, fought in his first mission. However, Heath committed suicide sometime after the battle, shattering his, and two of his subordinates', bodies, raising the question as to how he became a Paladin. A possible answer is that Lucius went to Sosshi village and rewind time, thus resurrecting Heath's body for some reason. Another question is to why they are at Hino in the first place? Could it be that Lucius foresaw people from Hino, most likely the seven Ryuzen and possible Ryuga, coming to the Magic Knight's aid and ordered those three to wipe them out before they could act or foresaw that Asta's still alive and ordered them to make sure that he's completely dead. However, I think that the first option is the most likely because Lucius's couldn't foresaw Asta's existence with his lack of Mana, which may lead to him being confused as to why the people of Hino would come to the aid of the Clover Kingdom, unless he knows Ryuga's ability of Tengentsu.

Raidentensho: That's certainly another interesting idea with the magic stones, them being used in the creation of Haoken. It could be a possibility that the magic stones, or at least another set, make their reappearance in the final arc. Lucius's plan is to recreate humanity into immortal bodies, whilst he able to do this by himself, he's planning on recreating humanity all in one go, so he could use the magic stones to amplify his soul magic, similar to how Party used the magic stones to perform a wide range reincarnation spell. Thanks for the idea for the Alter-Ride book armor, but I have plans on what will happen to them.
PS: I should apologize because last week, your review didn't appear in the review section, but it did appear in my emails, and I didn't found out until an hour after I posted the previous chapter. Since I was tight on time, I had to edit the chapter quickly, thus not giving a proper response.
Kamen Rider Yokia: We're not getting to Falchion's apperance just yet, but reactions to Saber's Emotion Dragon form, I bet they will be surprised at the sight of Rune Bright Dragon and Rune Dim Dragon whilst Brave Dragon will be excited at the meeting two other dragons.
Dragon Rider 66:
1) I'm afraid that you have to wait for now until we get back to Asta and the rest of Royal Knights.
2) Indeed, we need Sukehiro to tell his side of the story before we can get the full picture. With Ichika donning armor, she certainly getting serious straight from the start since anime characters who don armor usually is a sign of them getting serious. With Sukehiro, it does seem likely that he will get a power-up at some point, most likely during the final battle since he has a heart of a Devil. Asta's final sword could contain some essence of the five-headed dragon, which has been preserved somehow, making it compatible with anti-magic.
3) Considering Geats winning streak, it was guaranteed that he would be the victor, but at least Tsumuri isn't happy either with Geats winning the DGP, although this is mainly due to his wish. It would be nice to see some character development from Ace sometime later in a different DGP. With Keiwa, I think he may return into the next DGP because in the preview for episode 10, the voice that is questioning about Punhjack's identity does sound like Keiwa's. Yes, there are different interpretations when Ikki said Vice's name, such as him recovering his memories of his time as Kamen Rider Revice.
4) Other possible side-effects of the "Fever" Raise Buckle is that it forcefully deactivates the Rider's armor after a period of time, or half the points gained during the current mission.
5) If Oma-Zio does appear, then Asta will be confused at the sudden shift in personality from when he first met the king of time, the 2018 version of Zi-O that is.
6) Considering that the next chapter will likely involve the start of a battle between Asta, the Ryuzens and Ryudo against the Paladins, Asta may end up fighting Sister Lilly. However, he will be hesitant on fighting Sister Lilly, which may cause Ichika to reconsider her attitude towards him, seeing some similarities between them, one being forced to fight against someone close to them whilst the other saw her entire clan killed by her brother. This may end up causing Ichika to fall in love with Asta like you said...making some of the Clover girls annoyed
7) Mimosa will possibly be feeling perplexed that her Vistamp has the same name as her...whilst Kirsch will make some comment about its suit her.
Itspowertime: You think the Royal Knights are having a rough time, look what the other Sword of Logos are about to face!

2) I'm not entire sure with the whole Asta's father just yet. I am waiting if Mr Tabata will reveal to us Asta's canon father, but it could be that Richita and Asta's father didn't got married for some reason.
