The arrival of the Devil
"Graaaaaaah!" Saber shouted as he swing a flame covered Rekka at an incoming bull from one of Lira's paintings.
"There're just keep coming! Even thanks to the boost of Mana that I gain from Floges, it still feels like we're fighting against the whole world!" Saber thought whilst gritting his teeth underneath his helmet.
"The only path to victory is heading straight to Lira and knocking him out." Floges explained just as Saber fired "Fire Dragon's Fangs" at an incoming painted beast.
"Easier said then done." Saber responded as he glanced to were Lira is and saw him painting another picture.
In another part of the room, Mimosa is firing attacks from her "Flower Cannon" spell whilst Saiyuu Journey protected her from anything that get too close to her.
"If this keeps up, we'll-EEEEK!" Mimosa began to say but shrieked when something suddenly ripped part of her clothes.
Saiyuu Journey leaped into action, striking a tree-monster, causing it to stumble backwards.
As it attempted to regain it's balance, it was suddenly consumed in flames.
"Are you okay?!" Saber asked as he appeared in front of Mimosa and the red mechanical monkey.
"I'm sorry! Do you need healing?" Mimosa asked, becoming concerned.
"You can't heal me with so many enemies surrounding us, even with Saiyuu Journey's help." Saber pointed, making the red mechanical monkey nod it's head in agreement.
It was then that an idea appeared in Saber's head.
"I got it! Mimosa, climb onto my back and tie us together with vines." The swordsman of flames explained, causing a small confuse expression to appear on Mimosa's face, but did what she was told, with Saber moving his wings slightly.
"And for some addition support." Saber commented as he pressed done on the open cover of the "Storm Eagle" Wonder-Ride book just as Mimosa activated her healing spell.
Storm Eagle
The Wonder-Ride book announced, causing the red mechanical eagle to appear.
"Are you ready you two?" Saber asked, causing his red companions to nod their heads, with Storm Eagle giving a look which can be translated as "Why didn't you summoned me sooner?".
"Great! Bring it!" Saber exclaimed as he turned his attention towards the army of painted creatures.
"Hm? So Saber managed to summon more addition support?" Lira questioned as he notice Storm Eagle using it's claws to rip a creature into pieces.
"Could I use that as inspiration?" Lira questioned within his head, turning back to the canvas.
As this went on, someone suddenly appeared.
"Yuno?! Where are you?! What was that crazy place we went through?! And where am I?" Charmy repeatedly questioned as she turn her head around in a frenzy manner.
She slowly saw the mass of painted monsters and other stuff.
"Oh. In hell, la." Chamy commented as she gain a shock tone of voice.
"What's she doing here?!" Mimosa asked as she notice Charmy's presence, recognizing her from the time of the Royal Knight selection exam.
This cause Saber to turn his head in the direction that Mimosa is looking at and gained a shock expression underneath his helmet.
"Charmy?!" Saber exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
Before the swordsman of flames could questioned as to why the Black Bull cotton Mage is in the Shadow Palace, or even got in, Chamy suddenly got assaulted by the painted monsters.
"What the hell is this place?!" Charmy exclaimed as she created a cotton-cloud and used it avoid getting hit, with Storm Eagle helping her out by creating strong gusts of winds through it's wings.
"Charmy! What are you doing here?!" Saber asked as he thrust the staff-piece on his left gauntlet, causing the target to stumble backwards.
"I don't knoooooow! I was just hanging onto Yuno!" Charmy responded as she continued to avoid getting it. This cause both the swordsman of flames and the Vermillion hair girl to gain surprise expressions.
"Yuno's here too!" Saber thought, a part of him becoming slightly relieved.
"These monsters are spells that the elf-possessed Captain Rill drew! We have to do something about him or else/Saber! Look out!" Saber began to explain but is interrupted by Mimosa as she saw a painted monster coming towards the both of them.
Before Saber could do anything, Saiyuu Journey tackled it to the ground and striking it multiple times with it's staff.
"Thanks!" Saber called to Saiyuu Journey, causing the red mechanical monkey to nod it's head.
"Fire Creation Magic: Flame Dragon's Exploding Ring!" The swordsman of flames exclaimed, causing a mass explosion to occur.
"Saber! Look!" Mimosa said as she point to where Lira is and Saber widen his eyes underneath his helmet as he saw that Charmy floating beside him, offering him a bowl of food.
"Charmy! What are you do-!" Saber began to say but stop as he, mimosa, Saiyuu Journey and Storm Eagle watched as Lira swipe the food out of Charmy's hand which fell onto the ground.
"Oh dear….." Saber muttered in a low tone of voice, starting to gain a bad feeling.
"Saber?" Mimosa asked, becoming confuse as she felt the swordsman of flames becoming tense.
"Hey. That is no way to treat food." Charmy said in a blank tone of voice just as a giant sheep appeared behind her.
The sheep began to throw a punch towards Lira, but was interrupted as flames consumed it, coming from one of the painted monsters.
"In order to create...first, you must destroy." Lira explained, a dark smile appearing on his face.
"Both humans….and the things humans have made." Lira continued to explain just as the same painted creature produce spikes, piercing the cotton-sheep.
The cotton-sheep and Charmy, who also got struck by the painted monster's attacks, fall off the platform that Lira has been sitting on.
"Charmy!" Saber exclaimed as he and everyone else watched as Charmy and the cotton-sheep fell towards the ground.
"Saber. Get to her so I can heal her." Mimosa said in an urgent tone of voice, causing the swordsman of flames to nod his and took a step forwards.
However, a sudden chill is suddenly felt, causing Saber to stop.
"Huh? What was that?" Saber thought, a small bead of sweat trickling down his face.
"…...Hey. Can I come out now?" A male voice suddenly asked just as the cotton-sheep raised it's head.
Everyone watched as the cotton started to disappear from the sheep's body.
"This magic...what is it? It's different from normal human magic?!" Mimosa thought in her head, starting to become anxious as she and the others watched the scene in front of them.
Whilst Charmy stood up, the front cover of her Grimoire started to change, gaining a black cover.
However, that wasn't the only thing that has changed.
Charmy's once small body is now bigger and her once tied up hair is now flowing to her shoulders.
However, the most shocking changed is that the sheep has now changed into a giant frightening wolf.
"Charmy grew?!" Saber exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"That isn't the only thing that happened you know." Mimosa thought, a sheepish smile appearing on her face.
"I felt this Mana before, long ago. You're a hybrid?! A human/dwarf hybrid?!" Lira said, an expression of shock appearing on his face.
"A dwarf!" Saber and Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"…...A dwaaaaaarf?!" Charmy exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"She didn't know either!" The others thought whilst sweat-dropping.
"Dwarfs are those small people, right?" Saber asked, glancing over his shoulder to look at Mimosa.
"Yes. I've only heard about them in the old tales our elderly manservant tells, so I don't know the details, but they where another race, separate from the elves, who lived in the distant past and had unique skills." Mimosa explained, making Saber nod his head slightly.
It was at that moment that Charmy notice the wolf.
"Wait, weren't you a sheep?!" Charmy asked, his eyes widened to their fullest.
"Pipe down. That stuff doesn't matter now, does it?" The wolf asked, growling slightly.
"And you can talk?!…...But you're right though. What does matter is that…..I'm hungry." Charmy said as she began to drool.
"Boy, are you irritating. Even if you are a half-dwarf, if you you're going to get in my way, then….vanish!" Lira shouted as all the painted monsters converged onto Charmy and the wolf.
"Yeah. Make lots of that. It's all grub to me." The wolf explained as cutlery suddenly appeared in his hands.
"Food Magic: Glutton's Banquet." Charmy announced from her newly changed Grimoire.
The wolf started to suck in the incoming painting monsters, basically eating them.
"What's happening?! Charmy magic is cotton!" Saber exclaimed as he and the others watched the chaotic scene.
"It happens on occasions, but a hybrid being is capable of wielding two magic attributes." Floges explained, making the swordsman of flames to widened his eyes underneath his helmet.
"That wolf of hers is devouring my magic and making it the hybrid's own. It is eating faster than I can draw! My imagination is losing…...to appetite of all things!" Lira shouted in his head as he attempted to paint a picture.
Hoe dare you do a think like what you did earlier to the food?!" Charmy said as she jump towards the nearest painted monster.
"This is for the protein!" Charmy yelled before throwing a punch, causing massive damage.
"They're only punches, but they're loaded with magic…." Lira thought, starting to sweat as Charmy continued her rampage.
"Keep going, Charmy!" Saber shouted in encouragement, his shock disappearing.
"I'm not sure about the things that your yelling, but go." Mimosa said, a sheepish smile appearing on her face.
"Saber! You go on ahead! I'm physically pound the importance of food into this joker!" Charmy shouted over her shoulder.
"Thank you!" Saber called, before glancing over his shoulder.
"Which why should go?" The swordsman of flames asked whilst a small part of him is happy about leaving the scene of the wolf consuming the painted monsters.
"There were multiple paths, but I'm afraid the fierce fighting has closed off serval of them. Let's at least go up and take that path." Mimosa said as she point towards a circular hole.
"Right! Come on you two!" Saber as he started to make his way towards the path's entrance, being followed by Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey.
"Nice try, but no. No matter how much you attack me, it's useless!" Fana said as her body healed from an attack.
"I think it's about time….for you two to turn into ash too!" Fana exclaimed as flames started to dance around her.
"Joyeues! Cast that "Sea Dragon's Cradle" spell of yours!" The swords-woman of lighting exclaimed, causing the swords-woman of steel to quickly nod her head just as the pages of her Grimoire started to turn.
However, before Joyeues could cast the spell, something cut Fana, causing the flames to disperse.
"Haw, Haw! Well, look what I found! A woman who'll be worth slicing up!" The captain of the Green Mantis said with a mad smile on his face.
"Why is it you?!" Joyeues exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"Huh?! Got a problem, little girl?!" Jack asked, gaining a small tick-mark on his forehead whilst growling slightly.
Espada simply sighed at this interaction.
"David?!" Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
Currently, she, Saber, Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey have entered a room why they found a knocked out elf-possessed Golden Dawn Magic Knight.
"Who's he?" Saber asked whilst Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey glanced around just in case a surprise attack may suddenly appear.
"A senior member of the Golden Dawn! His body was taken over by an elf…." Mimosa explained as she crouch down to examine David(?).
"Did someone defeat him?" Saber asked before slowly noticing something.
"You sensed it to? There's faint traces of Mana floating around…but it doesn't seem to belong to either humans or elves..."Floges commented, sounding tense.
It was at that moment that the four of them starting to hear a faint whooshing sound.
"Is an enemy approaching us?!" Mimosa asked just as Saber, Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey got into battle stances, staring at a circular hole where the whooshing sound is coming from.
After a few seconds…...Brave Dragon came flying out of the darkness.
"Brave Dra-Ohf!" Saber began to say but was cut off due to the red mechanical dragon slammed into him, sending the swordsman of flames crashing onto the floor.
"Sab-Captain Nozel?!" Mimosa exclaimed as she notice the captain of the Silver Eagles on Brave Dragon's back.
"Hmm? It looks like we met up with some of the others." Nozel thought as he slid of Brave Dragon's back.
"Is it just you and Brave Dragon, Captain?" Mimosa asked as she approach Nozel.
"Unfortunately yes. The dragon seemed to be able to track Saber's Mana, so I let it decide our path." Nozel explained before glancing over his shoulder slightly to see Brave Dragon rubbing it's snout against Saber.
It was then that Nozel notice David(?).
"Did you fought him?" Nozel asked, making Mimosa shake her head.
"No. He was already knocked out when we arrived." Mimosa responded, causing Nozel to nod his head slightly whilst gaining a small look of concern.
"We've decided to head to the upmost floor. That is were the others will likely be heading once they've finishing fighting the enemy." Mimosa explained, causing Nozel to nod his head again before glancing towards the hole that Mimosa, Saber, Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey have came from.
"What's happening down there?" Nozel asked as he felt the Mana that the battle is producing.
"Somehow Yuno and a member of the Black Bulls managed to enter the Shadow Palace with the Black Bull deciding to fight the elf-possessed Captain Rill." Mimosa explained again, causing Nozel to widen his eyes at the fact that someone managed to open the door to the Shadow Palace.
"Activate your "Flower Guidepost" spell. We need to see the positions of our allies and the enemy." Nozel, causing the Vermillion hair girl to nod her head before opening her Grimoire and activate the spell.
"Below the strongest Mana, there's a new space with an object that looks like a pedestal in it! Inside, there are three elves and this Mana…...Yuno?!" Mimosa explained, her eyes widening.
"Let's head to that space, if the elves are targeting that pedestal, then we need to be there as well." Nozel explained, causing the others to nod their heads.
"Just sit tight, Yuno!" Saber thought, gaining a determined expression on his face.
"Well, well. I didn't see that coming. We sent Ado's group to pick you up, but you took them out instead, then got in here on your own." Ryha commented as he, Patry and a third elf stood on three floating pieces of rock looking down on Yuno, who is in his Spirit Dive form.
All four of them are in a room where a large, square-shaped pedestal stood.
"Still, you made it here safely by yourself. That's great." Ryha said with a small smile on his face.
"This time, you will give us that Magic Stone!" Patry said with a cold expression in his eyes.
The third elf mumbled something.
"As usual, Ronne, you're too quiet, and I don't have a clue what you're saying." Ryha said, revealing the now known Ronne.
"Now, finally, it will all come back to us! Our future….and Licht's smile." Patry thought, remembering a memory of a smiling Licht receiving his four leaf clover Grimoire.
"Light Creation Magic: Light Swords Of Conviction/Copy Light Magic: Lighting Swords Of Conviction." Both Patry and Ryha announced at the same time, creating multiple light-made swords which they sent flying straight towards Yuno.
"Mana Zone: Spirit Hushed Dance." Yuno announced, dodging the light-made swords in a dance-like manner.
"What?! He completely avoided those attacks?!" Patry thought, gaining a shock expression on his face.
"Mana Zone: Spirit Storm Double." Yuno announced, creating to beams of light which he fired at both Patry and Ryha.
Luckily, the two managed to avoid getting hit by the attacks.
"In the time it took him to get here, he's levelled up both the elf power and his human power…..In terms of sheer native talent, even Licht isn't this-!" Ryha thought, gaining a shock expression on his face.
It was at that moment that Ronne suddenly appeared behind Yuno.
The Golden Dawn wind Mage quickly jumped back just in time to avoid a swipe from Ronne.
"My Mana Zone couldn't detect him. It isn't super-high speed….he just suddenly appeared?!" Yuno thought, trying to make sense of the situation.
Ronne suddenly moved, appearing right in front of Yuno.
"Again…..No. He moved me! There's a pebble in the spot where I was a second ago! Once he's touched objects, he ca forcibly switch their positions?!" Yuno thought as he managed to move back and land on the ground.
However, the Golden Dawn wind Mage realize something off.
He look up and saw that Ronne is holding his neckless.
"That's mine. Give that back." Yuno said, starting to remember how Sophia told him that the stone is a Magic Stone.
"Good one, Ronne! Yeah I could never beat you at tag." Ryha commented just as Ronne turned his attention towards the pedestal.
"Now….we can finally make things right…." Ronne said, a small smile appearing on his face.
Ryha suddenly twitched.
"Why was that a lie….Ronne?" Ryha asked, gaining a serious expression on his face.
"Ryha?" Patry asked, gaining a confused expression on his face.
"Who….are you?" Ryha asked, making Yuno confused this time.
"…" Ronne remained silent for a few seconds before smiling in a creepy manner and mutter something.
Suddenly, a hole appeared in Ryha's stomach.
Silence fell as Ryha fall onto the ground.
"Ryha!" Patry shouted as he rush to Rhya's side and activate a healing spell.
"Ronne! What is the meaning of this?!" Patry demanded, gaining a slight panic expression on his face.
"In the fifth leaf resides the devil. I'm reminded of the day I used the bond between the Mages chosen by four leaf clover Grimoires….and created the Grimoire of despair. Today, finally, I will acquire what should have been mine then." Ronne explained as he jumped onto the top of the pedestal where markings are present.
"This Shadow Palace is the boundary between this world and the next. Here, the spell in this Magic Stone allows one to draw what they desire from the underworld." Ronne explained as he placed the Magic Stone into a slot within the center of the pedestal.
A mass made out of darkness suddenly appeared, something that has the same height as a person.
"Welcome back. I'm home." Ronne said just as a black stuff came out of him which joined with the shadowy mass.
Ronne fell onto ground just as the shadowy mass started to change.
"What is this?! This cold...pitch-black magic!" Yuno thought starting to feel a chill throughout this body.
"Impossible. This being…...this magic….!" Patry thought with widened eyes as he stared at a figure whose body is pitch-black a part from the neck and face are white along with possessing red eyes, pointy ears and black hair. Finally, the figure also possess a tail wings, and two horns which point upwards.
"….The Devil." Patry muttered in a horrified tone of voice.
"Aaaah. While imperfect, it is my body, for the first time in centuries. Heh, heh, he. It's good to be back." The Devil said with a smile on his face.
"What…..?! What is thing thing?!" Yuno thought as he stared at the newly appeared Devil.
"Neh, neh. Elf chosen by the four leaf Grimoire. I'll have you drink….the same abysmal despair that Licht tasted long ago." The Devil explained as he turned his attention towards Patry.
"What...you mean...?" Party asked, starting to shake slightly whilst the Devil smiled slightly.
"That day, the one who deceived the humans and had them destroy the elves….was I. Their lust for magic made the humans move readily. And your people as well. I tricked you with laughable easy, and you wreaked your revenge as I'd intended. Heh, heh, heh, heh. You're all such fools!" The Devil explained before laughing.
"Don't toy with meeee!" Patry shouted as he fired "Light Swords Of Conviction" at the Devil. However, the Devil remained where he stood.
"Return." The Devil simply spoke, causing the light-made swords to be sent flying straight back towards Party who widened his eyes in shock.
Suddenly, Yuno grabbed him and Ryha along with dodging the attacks.
"Hey. That body of yours is likely belong to a comrade of mine, don't get killed." Yuno explained as he place Party and Ryha onto the ground.
"Neh, neh….I'd prefer to fight you later…." The Devil said as he stare at Yuno.
"Just appearing out of nowhere….I can already tell you're scum, though. If sending flying will end all this, then I'll end it!" Yuno said before launching an attack behind the Devil.
Like before, the Devil remained where he stood.
"Vacuum wall." The Devil announced, creating a shield which blocked the attack.
"In the presence of my word soul magic…..all is meaningless." The Devil announced, revealing his magic.
"His magic is completely insane! Now that I'm stronger, I can tell….I can't beat this guy!" Yuno thought, making a "tch" sound.
"Here we come!" A voice suddenly shouted and Saber, Mimosa, Nozel and Brave Dragon came out of the hole which is located at the top of the room.
And there we go, Charmy's hybrid nature as been revealed and the Devil known as Zagred makes his apperance. So a change is that Nozel is with Saber and Mimosa, thus allowing him to see Zagred himself.
So in Geats:
1) Geats manages to survive his battle against Baffa before turn two the Lighting Jamato Festival with the second turret being made. Niram makes the decision of getting involved, but Ace objected, saying that he will deal with the matter himself.
2) Ace visit the temple where the first festival was held and after talking to the monk and the child that he'd saved, he decided to create a festival with the help of the other Riders and Tsumuri which was then interrupted when the third turn of the Lighting Jamato Festival starts again.
3) Despite getting severely getting beaten by Baffa and the Knight Jamato, Ace refused to give up which in turn cause the Goddess of Creation to react, summoning four "Boost" Raise Buckles which fused with the one that Ace already possess, creating the "Boost MarkII" Raise Buckle.
4) Transforming into his new Boost form MarkII, Ace easily defeat Baffa, the Knight Jamato, the other Jamatos and the two turrets with his heightened speed, along with transforming in an actual fox.
5) Niram observed Geats's victory, knowing how he acquired his new form before commenting how Ace is a person who shouldn't exist.
The rule for this episode is that there are no penalties within the JGP. Players are free to cooperate, sabotage and betray as they please. So this episode revealed a key aspect of Ace's character, instead of possessing longevity, he's a reincarnated soul with the first incarnation being known as A and the previous four before Ace Ukiyo desiring the power that will be awakened when a future incarnation steel his resolve. Due to the Goddess of Creation's hand in creation of the "Boost MarkII" Raise Buckle, it raises the question as to how this is possible since Niram stated that both the Game Master's and Game Producer's authority are needed to access the Goddess of Creation's power, regardless to the fact that the requirement Ace's wish have been met. So due to this, Niram doesn't like how this has happened and will likely keep a close eye on Ace from now on.
A while back, I received a review which covers the possibility that Ace is a reincarnated soul when Zin revealed that Ace have parents in the current era when he's been searching for Mitsume, so this episode proves that theory.

2) A Wonder-Ride book from Hino? I can imagine that being a souvenir of sorts when Asta returns to the Clover Kingdom...or at least a present to calm a Tsundere-acting Nolle.
Farhan Nugraha:
1) Yep, we're certainly getting close to the climax of the elf reincarnation arc with the apperance of Zagred.
2) I think that the Clover Kingdom will be surprise when they learn about the different kingdoms that each King/Queen rule, minus Gira, and will become shock when they see the mecha King-Ohger, apart from Asta and Julius who will have stars in their eyes.
3) Nozel will likely treat Yanma in the same manner as Yami, although be a bit interested in the technology that N'Kosopa kingdom possess. Yanma will likely spend more time with the Black Bulls because of his background.
4) I do have some ideas in mind for an original ending, but we have to wait and see what happens with the manga.
5) Acier and Richita will likely talk about how Noelle and Asta will make a cute couple.
