The opening of hell
Deep within Patry's subconscious, the elf, who has the same appearance that he had when he was killed, is sitting on a chair with his head in his hands.
Close by is William who is stuck within a tree.
"After all I did, so many choices, so many sacrifices….I was deceived. I wasn't chosen. Nothing like it." Patry thought, a look of shock appeared present on his face.
"Humans are evil….really? Isn't that just I want to believe? Actually….William and I managed to understand each other….No! We can never understand each other! It's the human's fault! They are foolish and ugly! We must never forgive them. All humans are evil! That's right…..it's all there fault!" Patry thought as he started to fill with negative emotions.
"So, regardless the time that you spent within your new body, your still a child." A voice suddenly spoke, causing Party to snap out of his inner rant and spin around to Floges walking out of the darkness.
"S-Sir Floges?! How did you get in here?!" Party asked in a shock tone of voice as he stood up.
"The current Saber is attempting to free you from the malice that has enslaved you. I used that connection to get inside you subconscious." Floges explained, making Patry's eyes widened.
"I don't need no help from a human!" Patry exclaimed, a tint of anger in his voice.
However, this just caused Floges to sigh.
"Even though you discovered that there is a third party who planned that event, starting from 500 years ago, you still want to blame the humans." Floges said in a calm tone of voice.
"Because they're the ones that actually slaughtered us!" Patry exclaimed in an angry tone of voice.
However, Floges didn't seemed fazed by Patry's tone of voice.
"So what are you going to do now? You got tricked at the verge of completing this false act of revenge, and now it seemed to lost the light that you believed in and starting to run away, shutting yourself away." Floges explained, causing Patry to become silent.
"…." Floges sighed at the lack of response before continuing to approaching the younger elf.
When the older elf got up to Party…..he suddenly slapped him.
"Take your responsibility for your actions!" Floges shouted whilst Party gained a shock expression on his face.
"I saw your memories when I entered your subconsciousness, how you killed the Wizard King, taking the entire kingdom hostage." Floges said with in a hint of anger in his voice.
"H-huh?" Party said in a shock tone of voice whilst placing a hand on his reddening cheek.
"You shared this human body for a long time, but didn't your time with being in the presence of Julius Novachrono taught you that there are those who wished for the nation to change! And all of your actions caused people to suffer!" Floges said before sighing.
"Your actions can't be fixed, but that doesn't mean you can just lose hope and give up." Floges said, causing Party to glance towards William.
"Come on now, we have a Devil to deal with." Floges said in a much kinder tone of voice.
"Saber! Are you alright!?" Mimosa exclaimed, starting to become worried as she and the other watched the large volume of malice dispersing from Patry's body.
Brave Dragon stood beside her and keeping the Vermillion hair girl back just in case she decided make the decision of walking forwards.
After a few seconds, the lasting malice disappeared and everyone became surprised that the armor that Patry's is wearing has changed, the black having changed to white whilst the gauntlets and leg pieces have changed to gold.
"…..What just happened?" Yuno questioned, tilting his head to the side.
"Has the absence of malice caused the armor to change?" Nozel thought, a small frown appearing on his face.
However, there was another matter to focus on.
"Saber…..are you okay…..?" Mimosa asked as she slowly approached the swordsman of flames and gingerly tapped him on the shoulder.
"….That was scary!" Saber suddenly exclaimed, causing Mimosa to jump.
"How are you feeling?" Yuno asked, becoming slightly concerned.
"I'm fine, but still….the amount of malice that was within Party and the armor…..?" Saber responded before noticing the change to Patry's armor.
"…..He doesn't seemed to be responsive….." Nozel pointed out as he stare at Patry.
"He…..hasn't died…..has he?" Saber asked, starting to become worried.
"No. Patry's just need time to unjust to the truth of these events." Floges responded, making Saber inwardly nod his head.
It was at that moment that a groan came from Patry, making everyone to become tense.
"P…..Patry. Your there….?" Ryha asked in a weak tone of voice.
The armored Patry swayed slightly before crashing onto the floor.
"H-hey! Are you okay?!" Saber exclaimed, starting to become concerned.
"…...I guess so." Patry responded before releasing a deep breath.
"What…..have I done?" Patry questioned has he stared at his slightly cupped hands.
"You've been played by someone who find toying people's emotions as a form of entertainment." Nozel responded in a blunt tone of voice.
"Do you really have to say that in a blunt manner, Captain Nozel?" Yuno asked as he glanced towards the captain of the Silver Eagles who simple shrug his shoulders in response.
"The Shadow Palace's exit is in the top most room, that's where that Devil is heading." Patry said as he glanced upwards at the hole at the top of the room.
"That's where the real Licht is located, right?" Saber asked, making Patry nod his head.
"Yes. Whilst Licht is powerful, he's has no chance of wining whilst still in his sleep-like state." Patry explained, making the swordsman of flames to hum slightly.
"Are you…..helping us?" Yuno asked in a confused tone of voice.
"I can't undo my past mistakes, but making amends is the best thing I can do." Patry responded, causing Yuno to blink his eyes in confusion.
"Your not getting away this time! I'm taking back the pain that you caused us!" Patry thought in a determined tone of voice.
Meanwhile, Zagred entered the top-most room of the Shadow Palace.
"Ne heh heh. There it is. The door to the outside world." Zagred muttered as he stared at a square-shaped door that has a circle with runes set in the middle of the door.
The Devil spotted an elf standing in front of the door.
"I won't….let you….go." Licht said in a sleep-like tone of voice.
"You may not be fully awake yet, but you still can't forget me, hm? Ne heh. Well, that's no surprise. Someone precious to you gave me the Grimoire I wasn't able to take from you!" Zagred explained as he held up his newly required five-leaf clover Grimoire.
"All this when your soul is unstable after transforming into that giant Demon. I'm impressed you can manage it. Neh heh heh. Yes, well done. I must reward you for all your hard work. I'll kill you properly." Zagred said, a deadly aura starting to surround him.
In response, Licht pulled out the long-bladed sword from his scabbard.
"Lighting Lance." Zagred spoke, making a lighting-made lance to materialize and fly straight towards Licht.
The elf quickly raised the long-bladed sword, letting it absorb the attack before firing the attack straight back at Zagred.
"Earth Shield. Zagred spoke, causing a slab of stone to spring out of the ground in front of him, letting the returning attack strike it instead.
"Storm Of Blades." Zagred announced, causing multiple bladed-weapons to rain down on Licht. With quick reflexes, Licht managed to deflect the bladed-weapons away from him.
"Split Open." Zagred announced, causing the ground underneath Licht to break apart which the elf jumped out of the way.
"And….Bind." Zagred spoke, causing multiple rope-like material to wrap around Licht, trapping him.
"That sword of yours can absorb magic, but I imagine its affinity with physical matter is poor. My word soul magic can summon physical matter. You only have one sword. You are no threat to me." Zagred explained as he summoned a spear made out of iron.
"Farewell...elf chieftain." Zagred said before sending the spear flying straight towards Licht.
However, before the iron-made spear could strike Licht, rose-covered vines wrapped themselves around the spear before pushing it towards the side, letting the spear fly straight past Licht, hitting the wall instead.
"My, my. So there was an elf who was not an apostle of Sephira in out midst." Zagred commented as he turned his attention towards the newcomer.
"I saw Baval enter the Shadow Palace and went after him. Then I found him unconscious, and something seemed wrong. You wretch. You're a Devil, aren't you?!" Charla demanded in a serious tone of voice.
"Whoa-whoa-Whoaaa! Devil? So, what, stuff like that actually exists? For starters….you have one ugly face." A new voice spoke, causing everyone to turn their heads towards the source of the voice to see Yami.
"It seemed that multiple of my folks are dealing with that other huge patch of magic, so I decided to come here. What's up with this thing's Ki? He's just….pure malice." Yami thought, a serious expression appearing on his face.
"Neh, neh, neh. One after another. What a lively place this is." Zagred commented in an "amused" tone of voice.
"Its you from before. Did you come all the way to obstruct me?" Charla asked, recognizing Yami from the start of the elf invasion.
Before speaking, the captain of the Black Bulls swing his Katana, releasing a wave of dark magic, cutting the rope that was trapping Licht.
"I've got a tone of questions and stuff I want to say, but taking out that thing out comes first, right? Bad guys don't get more obvious than that." Yami commented as he turned his attention towards Zagred.
"Hmph. If you can't keep up with me, I'm leaving you to die." Charla said as she got her briars at the ready.
"That extreme side seems real familiar. Don't go getting that body damaged, you hear." Yami said with a grin on his face.
"Wave Of Flames." Zagred spoke, summoning a mass of flames, burning the briars.
"Dark Magic: Black Hole." Yami announced, creating a small black hole which absorbed the attack.
"Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked: Lightless Slash!" Yami then announced, releasing a wave of dark magic straight towards Zagred, but the Devil flew over the attack.
"Storm Of Blades." Zagred spoke, causing numerous bladed-weapons to appear.
As they fall towards Yami, massive amounts of briar appeared, shielding the captain of the Black Bulls from the weapons.
"Wither." Zagred spoke, causing the briar to start withering.
However, Yami took that moment to lunge towards the Devil, katana at the ready.
"Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash." Yami announced, managing to cut Zagred's arm, that is holding his Grimoire and one of his wings.
"Neh, heh. What artful teamwork. I just assumed the two of you were on bad terms." Zagred commented, tilting his head to the side slightly.
"Its a real head-scratcher?" Yami responded simply.
"Return." Zagred spoke, causing his cut of arm and wing to sown back together.
"Neh, heh, heh. A skillful cut." Zagred said, a smirk appearing on his face before summoning a storm of blades again.
"So, what, anything goes with you?!" Yami asked as he started to deflect the weapons.
"From the looks of it, the black creepy dude's magic does two things. In addition to casting spells that match what he says…..he can boss matter around, summoning it or moving it. This storm of blades is all of them at once. Come on, that's just nuts!" Yami thought, analyzing Zagred's magic.
"He withered Charlottes's briars and put his own body back together. He can do whatever he wants, even with stuff that's alive. He hasn't straight up ordered us to die though, so he must be limited somehow." Yami thought before glancing over his shoulder.
"Charlotte!" Yami called to the elf-possessed captain of the Blue Rose that is close behind him.
"I'm Charla!" Charla responded in a slight angry tone of voice.
"He has limited range! That must be why some of my Briars didn't wither. Distance….I assume that matters as well, but I'd wager the amount of magic is key. Does the size of effect correspond to the amount of by which the magic he puts into his words exceed our magic? Is this all we can do? Field attacks at the last second….and check our guesses bit by bit?" Charla thought, seemingly carrying on with Yami's train of thought as she aid the captain of the Black Bulls.
"Well, I've got one thing figured out. He can't block my dark magic with his soul word magic!" Yami thought as he swing his Katana.
Instead of blocking the wave of dark magic that Yami sent flying straight towards him, Zagred jumped over the attack.
"Yeah, see? He dodged the attack instead of blocking! Although if he can dodge it, that's not gonna help." Yami thought, a small frown appearing on his face.
As the wave of dark magic through the air, Licht appeared in front of it, and raised his long-bladed sword, letting it absorb Yami's attack before swinging it towards Zagred.
"Good one." Yami muttered as he watch the attack cutting of the Devil's tail.
"Neh, heh. He's practically asleep, and yet it's astonishing that he can move so well!" Zagred commented as he glanced over his shoulder slightly.
"He's right! Licht isn't making the best use of his power! The fight seems evenly balanced, but if nothing changes…" Charla thought, starting to become worry.
"This ain't good. In the first place, that's guy's Mana is way to over-powered. If this keeps up, our Mana won't last. Besides...he's not flustered at all." Yami thought as he land of the ground.
"Very nice. You're being a marked nuisance. How entertaining! Thanks to you, I acquire the Grimoire as well, and so….now I shall use it. The magic of my words." Zagred said before opening his Grimoire, making Yami and Charla widen their eyes in shock.
"Word Soul Magic:-" Zagred began to speak before saying an untranslatable word and something started to appear.
"He still has….magic this nasty!?" Yami thought, a cold chill going through his body.
"Neh, heh. My apologies, but as creatures, there is a big difference between you and myself. Our dimension of origin!" Zagred explained whilst Yami, Charla and Licht stared at a mass of purple blob-like things which writhe as if alive.
"What in the-?! What's that spell?!" Yami thought just as Zagred began to laugh.
"Is this from….the other word?!" Charla thought, a bead of sweat trickling down her face.
It was at that moment that the mass of blob-like things started to move towards Yami, Charla and Licht.
Whilst they began to move back, Yami swing his Katana, but the blob-like things didn't seemed to be affected by the attack.
"This thing….is real bad news." Yami thought as he jumped back just as the blob-like things began to catch up with him and the others.
"It's….melting my magic?!" Charla thought as she watch her briar getting melted by the blob-like things.
It was at that moment that the elf-possessed Blue Rose Magic Knight saw a mass of the purple blob-like things right above her.
"Oh n/Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Back Blade Blunt Slash!" Yami announced, extending the blade of his Katana with his dark magic and used the blunt side to quickly get Charla to a safe distance…..although this caused him to get apart of his arm getting covered by the blob-like things.
"Ghk!" Yami grunted in pain as he jumped back before examining his damaged arm.
"It leached the magic and lief energy right out of me?!" Yami thought as he winced in pain.
Zagred began to laugh.
"Now you won't be able to wield a blade. It's just a spell that devours life. I just opened the lid a little bit, but there's no stopping it now. Not until it swallows every last human and elves." Zagred explained just as the blob-like things started to seep out of the room.
"There's something coming down the hole!" Saber shouted as he and the others started to notice the purple blob-like things falling towards them.
"What the heck is this?!" Yuno questioned in his head, becoming tense.
"That's….magic from the other world!" Party thought in realization.
"It's Devil magic!" Patry exclaimed before activating his magic.
"Light Magic: Light Swords Of Conviction/ Wind Magic: Tornado Fang/Fire Creation Magic: Flame Dragon's Blazing Flame!" Patry, Yuno and Saber announced before firing their magic towards the falling mass of purple blob-like things.
However, the attacks just got absorbed into the blob-like things.
"It ate the magic?!" Yuno thought in a shock tone of voice.
It was just at that moment that parts of the blob-like things broke away from the mass with some of it landing on Patry's armor.
Whilst the armor did protect Party, the armored elf did felt a hissing sound as the small piece began to burn though the armor.
"Don't let it touch you! Run!" Patry shouted in alarmed tone of voice.
Everyone managed to get off the ground just before the mass of the purple blob-like things started to feel the room, with Mimosa, Ryha and Patry joining Nozel on riding Brave Dragon.
"Can't you used Rekka to cut through that stuff?" Yuno asked as he glanced towards Saber.
"As if! If I did that, then Mr Daishinji will band me for life from ever wielding the sword of flames ever again!" The swordsman of flames shouted in response.
"That creepy stuff is spilling over from the room above us! If nothing changes, the people in the other rooms are in danger as well!" Mimosa explained as she examined a map of the Shadow Palace.
"The mobility we need in order to bring home those who've been turned into elves…." Nozel began to thought before making a decision.
"For us, victory means saving the kingdom and getting everyone out of here. I'll support the ones who are lower down. Follow me, House of Vermillion." Nozel began to explain as he started to use his mercury magic to create an eagle.
"You three deal with that Devil. Your combined strength will give us an advantage against him." Nozel explained, making everyone nod their heads.
"He's completely healed now, Captain Sophia." A robed assistant said as he stood up from healing the injuries that Finral gained during his fight against the elf-possessed Langris.
"Thank you." Sophia said before glancing towards the Shadow Palace.
"How are the others doing in there? Have they defeated the enemy yet?" Sophia thought, starting to gain a bad feeling as she felt something is wrong.
It was at that moment that a flapping sound is heard, causing the captain of the Sword Of Logos to turn her head just in time to see Nero landing on her shoulder.
"Hello Nero. How are things below?" Sophia asked as she glanced down at the crowded palace courtyard.
"Can you take me to the Demon's bones?" Nero suddenly asked.
"….!?" Sophia stared at the anti-magic bird for a few seconds before widening her eyes in shock.
And there we go. Instead of Asta confronting Patry, I put in Floges, the guy needs some screen time. Did everyone like how Patry's armor changed when the malice got purified. So everything is now heading towards the final battle at last.
So in Black Clover, Lucius plan has started to go in motion as the angel-like statues, which I thought were more Paladins, firing beams of light which I suppose will grant humans undying bodies. However, this was prevented as Yuno created a large-scale shield with his star magic. With the captains, they started to fight Lucius with William going first, yet was easily defeated. Yuno entered the battle and realizing how stronger he has become in the past year and three months, William basically promoted Yuno to captain.
To be fair, I'm kind of disappointed with how little happened during this chapter, in comparison with the last chapter, with Yuno protecting the citizens and getting promoted. However, the bandages covering Yuno's left arm started to unravel, hinting that his arm may have gone under some changes. Another point of interest is that Lucius called the captain "you people" and saying that they are unable to defy him. This could just be that they captains don't possess don't possess undying bodies.
In Geats:
1) Ace was saved by Tycoon and Neon and after he and Ziin recovered in the Desire Hall, the two have a conversation which involves Ace telling Ziin that his ability of being able to reincarnate is something that hasn't been granted through the Goddess of Creation.
2) The second phrase of the Sengoku game begins with Niram making the decision of joining the battle rather than standing back.
3) Geats confronted Beroba who transformed into Glare2 and fought until Geats transform into his Boost MarkII form, which eventually resulting in him suffering from jet-lag.
4) Ziin appeared and inserted his Laser Raise Riser into Ace's Desire Driver, resulting in him recovering from the jet-lag and transforming into his Laser-Boost form which he used to easily beat the Jamato and Glare2.
5) When confronting Beroba about returning the Vision Driver, Geats was confronted by Baffa who took Beroba away, but not before taking the Vision Driver which he then used to visit the Goddess of Creation.
The rule for this episode is that possessing both Vision Drivers will allow one to access and use the goddess' world remaking-powers. So once again the series makes a twist to the current information on Ace with revealment that "he" possess the reincarnation ability rather that acquiring that power through the Goddess of Creation. So the Laser Raise Riser is able to shape the wielder's ideals as they wish, which seems to be small-scale version of the Goddess of Creation's powers, could there be a connection? With the Laser-Boost form, I think it is too soon for Geats to receive it because in previous series, the primary Rider usually wield the first phase of their super forms and suffer from the side effects for a few episodes before gaining the second phase of the super form, but in Geats, it was just two episodes.

a) Asta's DGP Rider name will be Kamen Rider Taurus and his his mask will basically be a repainted version Kamen Rider's Baffa's. This is due to his status as being a member of the Black Bulls.
b) Yuno's DGP Rider motif will revolve around an artic bird. This is due to his birth Kingdom being located in the north, where it is covered in snow, and wielding wind magic.
c) The first version of Noelle's DGP Rider will be an eagle-based Rider, Kamen Rider Aigle. The second version will revolve around aquatic creatures or the existing Kamen Rider Dauphin. The first version is because of the Silva family basically owning the Silver Eagles whilst the second version is because of her water magic and her friendship with Kahono who possess a dolphin-based mask.
For desires, whilst it is obvious what Asta and Yuno want, I think that they won't write anything on their Desire Cards because they value hard work, especially Asta, and, to them, it would seem like cheating to simply be granted a world where they are automatically the Wizard King. For Noelle, I think her Desire would be a world where Acier is alive. I can see Noelle being a bit suspicious about the world-altering ability that the DGP possess, but decided to write her desired world just for sake of writing something down.
I think that Ace and Noelle will get along well because they have issues surrounding their mothers, one being blamed for their mother's death whilst the other is searching for their mother. The clover gang will be surprise about Ace's predicament of being a reincarnated soul, one that has been going on for 2000 years.
2) If the Blade Riders appear in the world of Black Clover, then they would likely have to operate separately within their matching kingdom, such as Kamen Rider Chalice being in the Heart Kingdom. Kamen Rider Blade will be met with hostility from the other kingdoms due to his spade suit. With Leangle, the Clover gang will certainly be surprise with his clover/club motif with a few calling him the "Clover Guardian", such as those living in the Forsaken Realm. With Garren, he will try his best to make the Diamond Kingdom a better place whilst suffering from the cellular breakdown. I'm not sure about the three A-themed Kamen Riders since the suit of A hasn't been used in Black Clover. I think that Lucius will be interested in the Undead, especially the Human Undead.

1) You know, it's kind of hard to properly "see" an OC Rider's form just through words, but the helmet based on Kamen Rider Solomon's sounds good.
2) Well, the final battle is soon approaching. If the Megid Generals, plus Desast, meet Zagred, them it would similar to how Liebe talked to Zagred before he disappeared.
3) Things will likely be different in regards to Asta and the others meeting that "man".
4) As of right now, the finale of the story will revolve around Saber's final battle.
