Farewells and...?
As everyone watch the souls of the elves fly into the sky, Rades started to gain annoyed expression on his face.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold up, wait up, don't you dare!" Rades thought just as his Grimoire opened.
"Wraith Magic: Soul Abductor." Rades announced whilst a beam of light shot out of his Grimoire, a making a few people turn their heads towards him.
"I can only use this spell on people who've been with me for a long time! Ironically….you qualify!" Rades thought just as the beam of light caught a disappearing soul.
Suddenly, everyone felt Mana coming out of the artificial body that use to house Licht's soul.
"The body that held Licht's soul has magic in it again?! But this magic….." Ryha thought as he and the others gained shock expressions on their faces.
"What's…..Is it reincarnation?! No…...reanimation?!" Patry said in a shock tone of voice as he examine his new body.
"That body was a copy of yours, anyway. Sally made it. It should feel like real good fit." Rades explained just as his Grimoire started to stop glowing.
"Hey...what are you doing?!" Saber asked, becoming confuse.
"Shaddup, shove it! I….I…..I don't get it either, dammit!" Rades responded as he started to grit his teeth.
"Listen, Licht….No was was it again? Patry? I'm not letting you disappear all neat and happily ever after like that! I'm never gonna forgive you! You keep thinking about those humans you trampled underfoot….about me!" Rades shouted in an angry tone of voice at Patry who gained a startled expression on his face.
"Uh….That's one's gonna come back to bite you." Saber pointed out.
"Shadup!" Rades responded, still in an angry tone of voice.
"Rades…..Should I thank you….? You've given me the opportunity to atone." Patry said in an unsure tone of voice.
"Can it! Someday, I swear I'm gonna come and kill you! And I'm not letting you die easily! Go on and spend you life trembling in fear! C'mon, Valtos, let's go." Rades explained to Patry before turning to his former Eye Of The Midnight Sun's member.
"Sheesh….so in the end, even you didn't get to go with Licht. What a pain in the butt you are, kid talk about just deserts." Ryha commented just as Patry turned to the copy magic user.
"Ryha…" Patry muttered before starting to wobble. Luckily, William caught him.
"Who'd ever though we could speak like this." William commented in a slight amused tone of voice.
"William…" Patry muttered in an unsure voice.
"My closest friend, who shares my sin….there's was so much I wanted to say to you, and yet…." William began to say before stopping himself.
"Right now, more importantly...even if I can't be forgiven, there's someone I must apologize to." William said as he turned his attention towards Yami.
"I know that this is a selfish request. I'm sorry. Yami….I want you to let me see Lord Julius." William said, causing Yami to gain a conflicted expression on his face.
"….Right." Yami said in a serious tone of voice, causing everyone to become confuse.
"And the so the story comes to its end." Storious commented simply as he and the others observe the humans and elves from a distance.
"So what now?" Zoous asked, yet already have a good idea what Storious's response will be.
"We let the humans have their peace…..for now that is." Storious responded before opening a black portal with his magic.
"Huhg! Such a bore." Desast commented, yet walked through the portal along with Storious and Zoous.
"…." Legele stared at the small figure of the swordsman of flames for a few seconds before entering the portal himself.
Throughout the rest of the night, the Magic Knights have been rescuing the citizens along with clearing the damage as much as they could.
"It's finally over!" Donna said in a relieved tone of voice as she, Asta, Noelle, Mimosa, Secre and Lumiel stood on a broken tower.
"Yeah! I can't wait for a good long sleep." Asta said, his mind wandering to his bed.
"We still have much work to do before we can rest." Noelle explained in a serious tone of voice.
"Come on now, Noelle. We just been though a dangerous situation." Mimosa said, mainly referring to their trip into the Shadow Palace.
"I really can't thank you enough. All of you. The Devil's spell had been place since our time, and you broke it." Lumiel said with a smile on his face.
"Asta. Just who exactly are these people?" Donna asked in a low tone of voice.
"Is he….actually made of stone? He looks exactly like the statue of the first Wizard King….but his eye is…" Mimosa said in an unsure tone of voice.
"He is the first Wizard King….and you're Nero, right?" Asta asked, glancing over to Secre.
"…..Asta. Did you hit your head or something?" Noelle asked in a blank tone of voice.
"Actually, he's right. My name is Lumiel Silvamillion Clover and this is my assistant, Secre. She sealed me away in the form of a statue 500 years ago." Lumiel introduce himself.
"And for the last 500 years, I took the form you known as "Nero" as a side effect of sealing Prince." Secre explained to the four current generation of Magic Knights who have gained shock expressions on their faces.
"Why didn't you say anything sooner about being human or what really going on?!" Donna asked as she stared at Secre.
"I couldn't speak until the Shadow Palace appeared." Secre responded, not affected by Donna's outburst.
"Why are you still partially in form of a statue, Sir Lumiel?" Mimosa asked in a concerned tone of voice.
"….I'm not sure. It could be because I'm partially awake and my body couldn't handle the burden of going straight into a fierce battle…..?" Lumiel responded, yet unsure of the answer himself.
This cause a slight guilty expression to appear on Secre's face.
"Speaking about "bodies", how is yours doing, Asta? Have you felt any side-effects of being used for reincarnation magic?" Lumiel asked, becoming curious.
"My body feels fine but…..I can feel remnants of the elf magic still within me." Asta responded as he stared at one of his hands.
This cause everyone to become surprise.
"So everyone that has been possessed have gained a boost in their magic then…" Donna commented, a small frown appearing on her face.
"I'm fine if it's helps me to become the Wizard King." Asta said with a grin on his face.
"Like you could be anything like Prince. Don't be impudent." Secre said as she stared to pull one of Asta's cheeks.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Why are doing the same thing as you do when you were a bird?!" Asta exclaimed in a pained tone of voice.
"Heh heh...As far I'm concerned, "Wizard King" is just a word. However, you and that wind Mage friend of yours certainly have the same ideas for a bringing about a brighter future-!" Lumiel said at which point cracks started to appear all cross his body.
"I guess it's time. I don't have the magic to hold this body together any longer." Lumiel said as he examined himself.
"My recovery magic can't help here." Mimosa thought, feeling slightly helpless.
"Prince…" Secre said in a worrying tone of voice.
"Secre...or do you prefer Nero, now? Would you watched their futures and ideals play out for me as well?" Lumiel requested in a calm tone of voice.
"Prince Lumiel….you're….I've always….! If you're going, I'll go too-" Secre began to say but was cut off just as Lumiere shook his head.
"I gave everything I had 500 years ago. I should have ended then. However, thanks to you, I was able to protect the future. That's enough. I don't want you to close off your own potential." Lumiere said, causing Secre to start becoming anxious.
"I'm looking forward to futures beyond this one. Both of the Magic Knights, and of the Clover Kingdom you defend." Lumiere continued to explain before glancing towards Noelle and Mimosa.
"I was able to meet my own descendants as well. I couldn't bee more satisfied." Lumiel thought, a smile appearing on his face.
It was at that moment that Secre took one of Lumiel's hands
"Being able….to serve you, all this time….made me very happy!" Secre said as tears started to appear in her eyes.
"Thank you. I was happy as well. 500 years…..really, Secre, thank you for all you have done." Lumiel said just as his body completely crumbled and turn to dust.
"Now then. Even though we've managed to end the crisis that the Eye Of The Midnight Sun have started, there's still much work to focus on. The attack has left the Clover Kingdom in a weakened position." Sophia explained once everyone has returned to the Sword Of Logos base and are in the meeting room.
"The Spade Kingdom will be thrilled at the prospect of having an ideal time of launching a successful invasion." Ryo commented whilst folding his arms, making the others nod their heads in agreement.
"There are likely more issues to deal with, but that will be discussed in the next Captain's meeting. But for now…." Sophia said before walking towards the slightly opening door, causing most of the people in the room to become curious.
"Ryo, Tetsuo, Rintaro, Rin and Fiona. I would like you to meet our new squad member." Sophia said as she opened the door further and allowed the new member to enter the meeting room.
"Hello. I am Secre Swallowtail, nice to meet you all." Secre said as she bowed slightly, now wearing the robes of the Sword Of Logos.
"Cool! We got a new mem-have we meet before?" Rin asked as she and everyone else took in Secre's features.
"…..You look awfully like our pet bird, Nero." Rintaro commented, tilting his head to the side.
"Now that you mentioned, where is Nero. I haven't seen her." Fiona said, becoming slightly worried.
"I am Nero." Secre said in a blunt tone of voice.
"What?!" Everyone, minus Asta, Noelle, Donna and Sophia, exclaimed, becoming shock.
"S-since when are you capable of turning human?!" Rin asked in a shock tone of voice.
"I am human who got turned into an anti-magic bird." Secre responded, causing the wielder of Hayate to gain a confused tone of voice.
"Sometime ago, Secre got contaminated with Demonic Mana, causing her to take the form that we known as "Nero"." Sophia explained, altering the truth slightly.
This cause mostly everyone to become tense at the mentioned of "Demonic Mana".
"It was for a good cause." Secre said, attempting to sound reassuring.
This cause the others to glance at each other.
"When were you able to return back to your human self?" Tetsuo asked, becoming curious.
"It was during appearance of the Shadow Palace that I was able to speak and told Captain Sophia to do something which lead to the seal to break around me." Secre explained before taking out her Grimoire and opening it.
Everyone watched as Secre glowed and transformed into Nero.
"But at this point, I'm capable of using my sealing magic to seal my body into this form at will." Nero explained as she hover in the air.
"Oh my god! That voice! It's so adorable!" Noelle exclaimed in an exited tone of voice.
It was at that moment that moment that Donna realized something.
"Hang on...If you're a human in the first place…..you've been sharing the same room as Asta…." The wielder of Ikazuchi said in a slow tone of voice.
Everyone slowly started to realize what Donna is trying to say.
"Wow, you're such a naughty girl, Secre-chan." Rin said with a grin on her face.
"Please tell me you didn't saw anything?" Asta asked in a pleading tone of voice.
"…..Don't worry, I didn't saw anything." Secre responded whilst averting her eyes slightly.
"Did you or did you not?!" Asta shouted in his head, starting to feel worried for his privacy.
"Char won't like this." Ryo commented, making Tetsuo nod his head in response.
"You…..you…." Noelle's voice is heard as he her body started to shake.
"Hm? Noelle?" Asta asked as he and everyone else noticed Noelle's shaking body.
"Bakasta!" The wielder of Argent-Couronne exclaimed before blasting the wielder of Rekka with water.
"Gha!" Asta exclaimed as he slammed into one of the walls.
"And it's back to normal." Everyone thought whilst sweat-dropping.
The scene changes to an underground cave.
The only source of light are glowing rock-like crystals which stuck out all over the place.
Deep within the cave is a pedestal where a book of some sorts lay.
However, despite the glowing rock-like crystals, the features on the book can't been seen, but it would seemed that the book is covered in chains.
Suddenly, the book started to glow and shake violently.
And there we go, an epilogue to the overall Eye Of The Midnight Sun's arc...along with something new to happen. With everyone knowing that Nero is a human, Asta started to become concerned with his privacy.
In Black Clover, Lucius managed to catch Yuno's sword, commenting how absorbing Lucifero's heart made him physically stronger and pointing out how "Never-Never Land" consumes a lot of Yuno's Mana. With a very heavily injured Jack, he remanence how Sukihiro and Morgan were consider the best duo of a previous generation. Jack then released a powerful attack at the Paladin version of Morgan, which itself managed to cut a large potion of the land and some of the angel-like statues, before falling unconscious. As Yami and Morgan about to fight, the scene shifts to Mereoleone loosing her arm, presumably by Moris.
I kind of find this chapter a bit disappointing with the context that was in it, but since the next chapters seems to be shifting to the Crimson Lions, hopefully things may start to pick up.
In Geats:
1) Beroba announces the final mission of the JGP, "Heaven and Hell" which involves the trapped people to select a colored spot, but if the choose wrong, then they will fall into "hell", as judged by the "goddess".
2) Beroba explained to the Riders that "Heaven and Hell" reflexes the nature of the DGP, the victim's happiness are robbed which the Goddess of Creation uses to "create" the prize for the victor with Kekera explaining to Keiwa how not everyone can obtain happiness.
3) Having a conversation with Niram, Ace slowly started to connect the pieces with Daichi confirming how Mitsume is a person of the far future who managed to gain the power of re-shaping the world in order to give birth to a son from someone in the past, with the drawback being robbing people of their happiness.
4) With this discovery, Keiwa became furious towards Ace before heading off just as the second trail of the "Heaven and Hell" begin and fight the angel-themed Jamato which leads to him getting confronted by Baffa who managed to kick him off the game area, resulting in Tycoon's elimination from the JGP.
5) As Michinaga confront Ace, who has been observing the "goddess" absorbing the victims, Archimedel made the decision of using himself as the fertilizer for a a growing Jamato, resulting in him getting eaten by the growing Jamato, with this being observed by Daichi.
The rule for this episode is that the happiness of the sacrificed is repurposed into the power to remake the world, as per the victor's idea. Well, this episode certainly revealed a key aspect of the Goddess of Creation's power, using the victims of the DGP to act as fuel for her reality-warping ability. Ace certainly will be determined to meet the Goddess of Creation/his mother and learn the truth from her. So first Neon has left the JGP and now Keiwa, I hope that they will return. It's either that or new Riders are introduced into the series.

1)...The part about having a four leaf Clover Grimoire instead of a three leaf didn't actually occurred to me, but you never know what will happen when Asta gains haoken and transforms into Xross Saber.
2) For now, Licht's sword will be stored away until later.
3) Thanks for the idea. I can imagine Secre being a bit protective of "The Wizard King and the Elves" Wonder-Ride book with Asta being keen on using the Wonder-Ride book.
wolfpackersson09: That's a interesting idea, I can imagine Noelle becoming shock when she and the others learn that the ring(s) that Asta use to enter people's Underworld are called "Engage" Rings, her face becoming deep red especially if she get "given" one...whilst Mimosa will be fantasizing a wedding between her and Asta.
