The Grimoire of Ruin
"So…..where are we?" Asta asked in a confused tone of voice as he and Secre stood in front of a building that is located in the Royal Capital, but well hidden.
The Sword Of Logos sealing Mage has asked Sophia if she can go somewhere with Asta.
The part about bringing Asta along caused the captain of the Sword Of Logos to become suspicious, but gave her permission.
"I'll tell you in a minute." Secre responded as she climbed off her broom and walked towards the door with the wielder of Rekka following close behind.
As the two of the stood in front the door, Asta noticed something.
"Why doesn't the door has a keyhole?" Asta asked, becoming more confused.
"Because I am the key." Secre responded before using her magic on the door, unlocking it.
"So cool!" The ash-white hair teen exclaimed in his head as Secre opened the door and the two of them walked down a staircase.
After a few minutes, the two reached a set of doors which Secre used her magic to unlock it again.
When the two of them entered the room behind the doors, Asta's eyes widened as he stared at the numerous objects that lay about the place.
"This is Prince's workshop." Secre said, making Asta blinked his eyes slightly.
"The first Wizard King…..was an inventor?" Asta asked, becoming curious.
"That's correct. Prince spends most of his time creating Magic Items. Like the current Wizard King, he was aiming to improve the lives of the Clover people, even those in the Forsaken Realm. However, the other members of the Royal Family didn't like his ideas and so decided to construct a hidden workshop, with the help of a group of people, to better protect his projects." Secre explained, making Asta nod his head slightly.
"How did you became a servant of Sir Lumeil?" Asta asked, becoming curious.
Secre stared at him for a few seconds before speaking.
"500 years ago, I was a member of a noble family. However, my magic, at the time, was only capable of opening and closing doors, so my family decided to transform into a servant to serve under a member of the Royal Family. At first I was expecting Prince to act like a snob, like the majority of the Royal Family." Secre began to explain, making Asta sweat-drop at "Lumeil being a snob" part.
"But I discovered that he was a kind person who didn't seemed to mind that my magic was practically useless, in fact, he became interested with it and over time, we managed to evolve my sealing magic to do much more than simply opening and closing objects. I also took part in his creating of Magic Items...which most of the time ended in trial and error." Secre further explained, remembering the many times that something exploded in the workshop.
However, it was at that moment that a sad expression on her face.
"The Magic Items that we created was to ensure a brighter future for the Clover Kingdom, but one of the Magic Item that we created aided in the massacre of the elf race, stealing their magic so they wouldn't be able to defend themselves." Secre explained in a sad tone of voice.
"So that Devil discovered the location of this workshop and influenced the upper class to steal it." Asta said in an angry tone of voice as one of his hands clenched slightly, making Secre nod her head slowly.
Silence fell around the room for a few seconds before a thought appeared in the ash-white hair teen's head.
"That light-sword spell of Sir Lumeil…..was he influenced by the Sword Of Logos or something?" Asta, half joking slightly.
Secre stared at him for a few seconds before nodding her head.
"Yes. Somehow Prince managed to become friends with the Sword Of Logos of that era. That's kind of the reason why I brought you here. Now….where are they..." Secre muttered as she glanced around the room whilst Asta became confuse.
"I think they're in one these drawers." Secre said as she walked towards one of the numerous files of drawers that lined the room and opened one of them.
The Sword of Logos sealing Mage suddenly sneezed as dust raised into the air, making Asta jump slightly.
"I guess that it would makes sense if this place is dusty. It hasn't been used in 500 years!" Asta thought as he started to notice the dust that cover the room.
"Yes. They are here." Secre said as she took out two objects from the drawer.
Asta's eyes widened as Secre showed him two objects.
"Wonder-Ride books?!" Asta said as he stared at the two Wonder-Ride books that within Secre's hands which are much larger than the normal Wonder-Ride books, but blank.
"Prince was developing them for the Sword Of Logos, having the idea of allowing a Holy Sword wielder to access more Mana through these larger Wonder-Ride books. But before he could create more or even give them to the Sword Of Logos of that era...the massacre of the elf race and Licht transforming in a Demon happened…." Secre explained, making Asta nod his head slightly.
"Like with Noelle's "Valkyrie's Legacy" and Calibur's "Jaou Dragon" Wonder-Ride books?" Asta asked, him and the others having been told about Calibur's new power-up form.
"Yes. They're follow the same principles." Secre responded, gaining a slightly annoyed expression on her face.
"…..Are you annoyed that there are two people already wielding larger versions of the Wonder-Ride books before you or Sir Lumeil could deliver them to the squad?" Asta asked, making Secre glare at him for a few seconds before sighing.
"Anyway. I think it would be if I gave them to you." Secre said as she presented the two blank Wonder-Ride books to the wielder of Rekka.
"Thanks." Asta said as he took the two Wonder-Ride books from the Sword Of Logos sealing Mage before examining them.
"All that is left is to fill them with Mana in order to complete the Wonder-Ride books. Prince left them blank in order to make this fair for the Sword Of Logos with selecting suitable wielders for them." Secre explained, making Asta nod his head slightly.
"I guess that should give them to Sophia then…..?" Asta said before he and Secre started to hear a humming sound.
"Someone's contacting us." Secre said as she took out the communication device out of one of her pockets.
"Yes, Secre and Ast/You two need to come to the Magic Knight's headquarters immediately!" Sophia's voice spoke through the communication device in an urgent tone of voice.
This cause Secre and Asta to glance at each other, becoming tense.
"The headquarters got attacked?!" Rintaro exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as he and the rest of the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights have arrived at the headquarters of the Magic Knights and are in the captain's meeting room along with the captains and Marx.
"I'm afraid so. As you can see, the invader wasn't aiming on destroying the building, but instead stole something." Marx explained in a serious tone of voice.
"So what did they stole?" Ryo asked as he crossed his arms.
"I'll let Captain Sophia explain this to everyone." Marx responded as he looked over to the captain of the Sword Of Logos.
"Thank you, Marx." Sophia said before standing up off her seat.
"Now, this will alarm all of you, but the invader is a man named Bahato…...who also goes by the title of Kamen Rider Falchion, the swordsman of the void." Sophia said to the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights who blinked their eyes a few times before realizing what she said.
"What!?" Everyone shouted, becoming more shock.
"The swordsman of the void…..what sort magic is void magic?" Asta asked, becoming confused.
"Void magic branches off from the magic attribute of dark magic...along with having the quality of magic nullification." Tetsuo explained, making Asta and the others widened their eyes.
"Magic nullification? That sounds a trouble ability to have." Donna commented with a small frown on her face.
"Indeed. You should have seen how Falchion cut through Jack's blades so easily." Yami said as he jab a thumb over to the captain of the Green Mantis.
"Shut it, Yami." Jack said in an aggressive tone of voice.
"I'm more worried about the person donning the armor Falchion rather than the type of magic he uses." Tetsuo said, having a deep frown on his face.
"Hm? You know this "Bahato" person?" Ryo asked, becoming curious.
"Bahato is the last known recorded wielder of the Holy Sword Kyomu…..1000 years ago." Tetsuo explained, causing everyone in the room to become shock.
"1-1000 years ago?! But he looked so young!" Rill said in a shock tone of voice.
"From what I remember from reading, Bahato was a member of the Sword Of Logos in the past, but ended up following a dark path…..one that could have lead to both Wonder World and this world to ruin." Sophia explained, causing the room to become tense.
"H-how?" Noelle asked, attempting not to sound scared.
"By using a Grimoire known as the "Grimoire of Ruin" which, similar to the "Almighty Grimoire", can be wielded by anyone. However, Bahato was defeated in battle and sealed away. As to who sealed Bahato and where he was sealed are unknown." Sophia further explained, causing some slight confuse expressions to appear on people's faces.
"So what happened to the "Grimoire of Ruin"?" Marx asked, becoming tense.
"After Bahato was sealed away, the Sword Of Logos managed to split the Grimoire into two pieces, the cover and the pages. The cover of the "Grimoire of Ruin" was placed within a Dungeon that is located in Wonder World whilst the pages was guarded by the Clover Kingdom's branch of the Sword Of Logos for the first 500 years before entrusting them to the Wizard Kings and Queens when the title became official within the Magic Knights." Sophia explained, causing eyes to widen.
"You people managed to split a Grimoire into two pieces?!" Kaiser asked in a shock tone of voice, never hearing about a Grimoire being effected in that manner.
"Pages?….Then those pages that Falchion was holding…." Fuegoleon began to say, making Sophia nod her head slowly.
"Yes. Those are the pages of the "Grimoire of Ruin"." The captain of the Sword Of Logos responded, making a frown to appear on the captain of the Crimson Lion's face.
"So Falchion is making his way towards this Dungeon to claim the cover." Nozel commented, making Sophia nod her head.
"Yes. However, the Dungeon shifts around Wonder World, keeping the treasures within more protected." Sophia said, making everyone surprise at one of the safety features of the Dungeon.
"But since Falchion carries the pages, they will seek out their missing half, making thing slightly easier for him, although Falchion will have a difficult time accurately finding the Dungeon. Luckily for us in the Sword Of Logos, we have the means to accurately find the Dungeon. So we will be able to get to the Dungeon first." Sophia explained, making the captain of the Silver Eagles nod his head slightly.
"So what happens if Falchion manages to get his hand on the cover?" Rin asked, raising an arm.
"Even if Falchion manages to fix the "Grimoire of Ruin", he wouldn't be able to use its destructive powers to its full potential. He would need to be within a place with a high concentrated amount of Mana, a strong magic region for example." Sophia replied, making the wielder of Hayate to nod her head slightly.
"I wonder what the Wonder World versions of a strong magic region are like?" Nozel wondered in his head, remembering how Wonder World is rich in Mana.
Sophia turned her head towards Marx.
"Is it okay if we in the Sword Of Logos deal with Falchion?" Sophia requested, causing Marx to make a subtle glance towards a door….which is slightly opened.
"Yes, of course." Marx responded, making Sophia smile slightly.
"Thank you. When I report to Master Logos about this, I try to ask about getting Magic Knights from the other branches to help whilst they're away." Sophia explained, making the Wizard King's assistant to nod his head.
"Thank you. Now, all of you should leave immediately and good luck." Marx said, causing everyone from the Sword Of Logos to nod their heads before briskly leaving the room.
Silence fell around the room for a few seconds before Marx spoke.
"Sir Julius. It's safe to come out now." Marx said, making the door open more and the "Wizard King" walked out of it.
"I'm surprised that they didn't comment about my absence." Julius said in a relieved tone of voice.
"I think they were too focus on the matter at hand to say anything about you." Charlotte explained, making Julius nod his head slightly.
"I thought that the swords-woman of the winds would have said something about sensing someone's presence with that Ki ability of his. But I expect that since you possess the same skill and didn't react, she didn't bother to say or act in anyway." William said as he glance towards Yami.
"True." Yami responded.
"Please be safe, everyone." Charlotte thought, starting to become worried.
"I still can't believe that we've got our own Dungeon, so cool!" Asta exclaimed in an excited tone of voice as he and the others flew over the lands of Wonder World, heading towards the location where the Dungeon is supposedly be located.
"Please remember that we are on an important mission, Bakasta." Noelle said with a slight annoyed expression on her face, she taking her usual spot on riding behind Asta's broom.
"S-sorry." The ash-white hair teen said in a sheepish tone of voice.
This cause Noelle to sigh.
"By the way….why were the two of you together when we arrived at headquarters?" Rintaro asked, glancing between Asta and Secre.
This cause the others to become curious as well.
"We/we went to a private location." Secre responded, cutting off Asta who gave the Sword Of Logos sealing Mage a questioning look.
"A private location? Just the two of them?!" Noelle shouted in her head whilst starting to become suspicious.
"….Could you elaborate on what you two where doing?" Ryo asked, becoming more curious.
"Just to pick up a few equipment." Secre responded, causing the vice-captain of the Sword Of Logos to raise an eye-brow.
"What equipment is Secre and Asta picking up together?" Noelle thought as she stared at the backside of Asta's head.
"Why is Noelle staring at my head?" Asta thought, sensing that the silver hair girl is staring right at his head.
"By the way, have you told Captain Ogami about Secre?" Tetsuo asked, causing the wielder of Gekido to gain a confused expression on his face.
"Why would I tell Char about our new member?" Ryo asked, not sure what the wielder of Suzune is asking.
"Knowing your wife, when she's discovered that Asta and Secre have been sleeping in the same room, she will have a "talk" with them in terms of future sleeping arrangements." Tetsuo explained, causing Ryo to blink his eyes a few times before starting to chuckle nervously.
"Yes. I know what you're mean." Ryo said, starting to imagine Charlotte lecturing Asta and Secre.
It was at that moment that the Magic Item that Sophia gave the vice-captain, which has the appearance of a compass, started to hum loudly.
"We're getting close to the Dungeon." Ryo announced, causing everyone to perk up.
"Finally! We've been flying for ages!" Rin said in a relieved tone of voice.
The Sword Of Logos Magic Knights have been flying for two days, following the humming that the Magic Items has been producing.
"Seriously…..the Dungeon's down there….?" Donna asked in a disbelieved tone of voice as the wielder of Ikazuchi stared down at a jungle which is covered in mist.
"That's what the Magic Item is indicating." Ryo responded, making Donna paled slightly.
She wasn't the only one who has a look of dread on her face.
"My clothes will get messy in there!" Noelle shouted in her head.
"What should I do….." The wielder of Argent-Couronne thought, attempting to come up with a solution on how not to get her clothes messy, or at least less messy.
After a few minutes, the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights landed outside of the jungle.
"Right! It will be too dangerous to continue journeying on our brooms, so we're going to walk the rest." Ryo said, making the others nod their heads.
"Good. Rin, you got first. With you're Ki reading, you would be able to sense any in coming dangers before they appear." The wielder of Gekido said, causing Rin to nod her head before taking out the twin blades of Hayate and walked into the trees, being followed by the others who have taken out their own Holy Swords.
It felt that they are no longer within Wonder World with the sudden shift in atmosphere with how the trees and mist completely blocks out any sunlight.
"This jungle is so creepy! Anything can jump out at any moment." Noelle thought as she scan the surrounding area, attempting to see any movements though the misty air.
"Does this remind you of the time when we first arrived at the Witch's Forest?" Donna asked, making Noelle nod her head slightly.
"Yes…." The wielder of Argent-Couronne responded in a low tone of voice.
It was at that moment that the sound of a bird cawing can be heard loudly.
Everyone jumped in fright at this.
"Gah!" Asta exclaimed as he was suddenly grabbed by Noelle and the two of them would have fall to the ground if it wasn't for Ryo catching them.
"W-what was that?!" Rin exclaimed in a high pitched tone of voice as she glanced around in a quick manner.
"A bird…...I hope…." Rintaro responded in an unsure tone of voice.
"Noelle. Please let go off me." Asta said as the silver hair girl is still holding him in a vice-like grip.
Noelle blinked her eyes a few times before quickly releasing him.
"S-shall we continue towards the Dungeon?" Tetsuo asked just as his eardrums slowly recover from the loud noise.
This cause the others to nod their heads.
"We haven't gotten into a fight with Falchion, and yet we're already frightened by a bird noise." Secre thought whilst sweat-dropping as they start to walk again.
After a period of time, which seems non-existence with the jungle, the Magic Knights have arrived at a swamp.
"According to the Magic Item, the Dungeon is just pass through the swamp." Ryo said as he glanced down at the Magic Item.
"We have to go through that?" Noelle asked as she pointed at the swamp which is making some funny sounds.
"Yes." Ryo responded simply.
"….." The silver hair girl started to gain a horrified expression on her face.
"…..If you want I can carrying you." Asta offered as he noticed the horrified expression on Noelle's face.
This caused the wielder of Argent-Corounne to snap out of her silence.
"W-what?! You carry me!?" Noelle asked in a high-pitched tone of voice.
"It doesn't look like you want to walk through the swamp." Asta responded, making a frown appear on Noelle's face.
"O-okay….." The silver hair girl said, a small blush appearing on her face as she climbed onto Asta's back.
It was that moment that Secre transformed into her bird form and land on the ash-white hair teen's hair.
"N-Nero? Why are riding on my?" Asta asked, becoming startled.
"I want to save as much energy as possible until we start fighting…..plus I like your hair." Nero explained, making Asta raise an eye-brow.
"Really? Nero's like the feeling of Asta's hair?" Noelle thought, becoming curious before starting to gain the temptation of feeling Asta's hair.
"Is there room for one more?" Rin asked in an innocent tone of voice.
"What do you think!" The ash-white hair teen responded, making the wielder gain a pout on her face.
"Let's get moving everyone." Ryo said making everyone nod their heads just before Asta starting to move forwards.
"Hang on a minute! Should we see how deep the swamp is fir-!" Rintaro began to say but was interrupted as Asta already took a step into the swamp…...which reached up to his waist.
"Gah!" Asta exclaimed just as Noelle scrambled her legs so that they aren't touching the muddy water.
"Asta! Are you okay?!" Donna asked in a shock tone of voice.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." The wielder of Rekka responded as he started to calm down.
"Wow. You became even more shorter." Rin commented with a grin on her face.
"What did you say?!" Asta exclaimed in an angry tone of voice.
"Just move, Bakasta." Noelle said as she pinch one of Asta's cheek.
"Okay, okay." The ash-white hair teen responded as he started to make his way through the water.
"Asta….has very soft cheeks…" Noelle thought, blushing slightly.
And there we go, the Sword of Logos Magic Knights heading off to stop Falchion of claiming the cover of the Grimoire of ruin which is located with a moveable dungeon in Wonder World. As shown in this chapter, the Grimoire of ruin has been split into two pieces in the past, meaning that Bahato was sealed into a different object. So from the many Magic Items that Lumeil has created, he created two blank Wonder-Ride books, I wonder what they will become?
In Geats:
1) With Michinaga having his desire granted, Chiram decided to gather Riders in order defeat him and reclaim the stolen Vision Drivers so that the DGP can start again, something that annoys Tsumuri, but can't do anything about it as she started to recruit former DGP participants such as John and Ben, Neon's bodyguards.
2) With Neon, who is having a meeting with a possible suitor, she was approached by Tsumuri and was giving her ID Core and Desire Driver, but before should touch the ID Core and reclaim her missing memories, Buffa, in his new Jamato god version of Fever Zombie, appeared, and "requested" that Neon shouldn't touch the ID Core. John and Ben appeared, letting Neon and her suitor to escape before transforming into their Rider forms, but were easily defeated, with their ID Cores destroyed.
3) With Neon, she ran into Beroba who forcefully placed the ID Core into Neon's hand with the intent of letting Neon remembering her misery, before disappearing. Kyuun appeared and question what will Neon do next with her response focusing on being in herself, resulting Kyuun suggesting about living in the future where the lives of people ae designed.
4) With Chiram and Tsumuri, they witness as the last of the gathered Kamen Riders, Kamen Rider Groovy, gets defeated by Buffa's hand. Chiram started to freak out whilst attempting to find a Rider that is capable of defeating Buffa before deciding to recruit Zin and Kekera. However, their meeting was interrupted by Michinaga who is able to enter the Desire Temple through the Vision Driver before fighting Zin and Chiram, who gave the Vision Driver to.
5) Whilst watching Zin and Glare2 fight Buffa, who is easily wiping the floor with them, Tsumuri starting to question if there's something she could do, even "asking" Geat's ID Core, who has been participating in the DGP for a long time. Back to the battle, Buffa was about kill Glare2, fully intending on getting rid of the DGP for good, Ace appeared who transformed into Geats before pointing the Magnum Shooter 40x at Glare2. Sueru starting to question the outcome of Geats's return on the world, a positive outcome or a negative outcome, before turning his attention towards Tsumuri, commenting how the Goddess of Creation's cycle of destruction and rebirth continues.
So the rule for this episode is that Riders whose ID Cores have been destroyed can never transform into Kamen Riders again. So similar to last time, Geats have returned after just being gone just one episode, something that I'm kind of annoyed about despite the first time is getting retired, through dubious means by Girori. I'm also a bit annoyed that even though we found out that John and Ben are Kamen Riders a while back, we didn't got see their Rider forms except for their names of Kamen Rider Guran and Kamen Rider Lancer. So it would seem that Tsumuri is somewhat connected to the Goddess of Creation, apart from being navigators of the DGP, with her somewhat awakened powers.
News have been released which involved two spin off specials with one revolving Win Hareuya's background and the other with Keiwa meeting Rentaro Kagura, aka, Kamen Rider Shinobi where Tycoon receives a new ninja-based form.

1) Well, I would have done at least another story before a possible Black Clover X King-Ohger crossover, I have tons of ideas in my head and the current Super Sentai didn't come out yet when I first started this story, and I agree with Asta being the red ranger of the team since he and Gira have similar goals. Noelle certainly will be shock at how this version of Asta being royalty along with being able to wield the powers of god-like entities, which is shared with other rangers of course. She will be keen on teaching him on how to act in a proper royal manner with some possible aid with Nozel and Fuegoleon...although the captain of the Crimson Lions will be attempting to avoid Mereoleone "teaching" Asta anything.
2) Yep, the Crimson Lions are indeed steeling their resolve which could lead to Leopold having his moment to shine. The same could be said with the three currently present Silva siblings as they are fighting the Paladin version of their mother.
3) Indeed, Baffa has certainly taking the reins of the series with his ambition of crushing all Kamen Riders. It will be slightly amusing if a spin-off was created which involves Kamen Riders from the other series appearing in the Desire Royale. This has happened once before with the Ryuki Riders appearing in the Geats X Revice movie.

1) Lets break the problems into steps. Step one, stop Falchion bringing ruin to the two worlds.
2) I do have ideas in mind about Secre gaining a weapon and for Sophia, I'm not sure at moment.
3) I can see the Magic Knights and captains starting to do some training to deal with future threats from Wonder World.

1) As you can see from this chapter, Sophia did hinted about Bahato's path to villainy and getting sealed away.
2) For Asta's trial, someone else will be appearing, but Yuri will likely be making criticizing comments towards practically everyone at some point in the story.
