The building Megid
"What?!" Mimosa exclaimed as she stare at Noelle with an angry expression on her face.
"We were ordered….." Noelle began to say but her voice died in her throat.
Mimosa hardly ever get angry, but this time, Noelle was unfortunate on being on the receiving end.
"I can't just believe that you all were actually planning on handing Asta to the Magic Parliament!" Mimosa said, making Noelle meekly nod her head.
Currently, the two female members of royalty are sitting at small cafe-like area in a town located near the edge of the border of the Common Realm and the Nobel Realm.
Whilst the owner was excited that two members of royalty have decided to eat at their cafe, it slowly disappeared when Mimosa started to become angry when she discovered from Noelle that the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights were actually planning on handing Asta over to the Magic Parliament.
The Vermillion haired girl took a deep sigh in the attempt to calm herself down.
"So, where is Asta now?" Mimosa asked, making Noelle shrug her shoulders slightly.
"We don't know exactly where Asta is, but he's in the care of a woman called Sayo Illi Rubah, a childhood friend of Asta's mother. She was also responsible for rescuing Asta…..when we attempted to bring him in." Noelle replied, making Mimosa blink her eyes.
"She must be pretty strong if she was able to help Asta in defending from the rest of you before escaping." Mimosa commented which cause Noelle to purse her lips slightly.
"Asta and Miss Rubah….were aided by the wielder of Saikou, the sword of light." Noelle explained, causing Mimosa to widen her eyes.
"The sword that was believed to be lost, one of the two original Holy Swords?" Mimosa asked, she having been told Kurayami's twin during her time at the Sword Of Logos.
"Yes, according to Asta about the identity of wielder of Saikou, whose name is Yuri, it would seem that the sword of light has been in Avalon until now." Noelle said, making Mimosa surprise.
"So potentially Asta could have also collected Saikou if you knew that the sword was there." Mimosa commented, making Noelle blink her eyes slightly.
"I suppose that's true…" The silver hair girl said in a thoughtful tone of voice.
It was then that another thought appeared within Mimosa's head.
"So Asta could be in Avalon. It would seem that this Yuri person is able to freely enter and exit Avalon however he pleases." The Vermillion hair girl explained, causing Noelle to pale slightly.
"If that's true, then Asta is practically unreachable since we don't have the "keys" needed to open the actual doorway to enter Avalon." Noelle said in a depressed tone of voice.
"Doesn't that count as a good think?" Mimosa asked, she gaining a dark aura around her.
"Yes! Absolutely!" Noelle responded quickly.
"So with Miss Rubah, does Vice-Captain Ogami or Daishinji have a good idea about where Miss Rubah could be hiding Asta if he isn't in Avalon?" Mimosa asked, making Noelle gained an unsure expression on her face.
"They have an idea about where Asta is, but at the same time it is unlikely." Noelle responded, making Mimosa gained a questioning look on her face.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Mimosa asked, making Noelle shrug her shoulders.
"I don't know, they didn't say." Noelle replied, causing Mimosa to start becoming worried.
"Hmm….excuse me, Magic Knights." A voice suddenly spoke, causing both Noelle and Mimosa to turn their heads towards the source of the voice to see a woman with brown hair along with having a slightly nervous expression on her face.
"Yes? Is there something you want?" Mimosa asked, becoming slightly worried at the woman's expression.
"I need your help….not here though." The woman responded, causing Mimosa and Noelle to glance at each other before nodding their heads in response.
"Your son went missing?" Mimosa asked, now sitting at a table within the woman's house along with Noelle.
"Y-yes. My son Michael went out with friends of his last night, but he hasn't returned." The brown hair woman responded, overcoming her shock that she's in the presence of two royals.
"Did you two….had an argument and he wanted some space?" Noelle asked, but the brown hair woman shook her head.
"No, we didn't had an argument." The brown hair woman responded in a sad tone of voice.
It was at moment that Mimosa noticed small pieces of random objects laying on top draws which also include a framed photograph which has the brown hair woman, a male with short black hair and a male child with short brown.
"What are those objects?" Mimosa asked, becoming curious.
"My son like to make models, using what ever pieces he could finds, things that are just laying on the streets….although that's something that I don't approve of. You never know what you catch from random objects." The brown hair woman explained, snorting slightly at what she said about her and Michael not having an argument.
"We contact headquarters who will then arrange a search party." Mimosa said in a reassuring tone of voice.
"Thank you, Lady Vermillion, Lady Silva." The brown hair woman said whilst bowing slightly.
After saying their goodbyes to the brown hair woman, the two female Magic Knights began to make their way towards the towns square.
"We'll contact the Magic Knight's headquarters and then wait for them at the towns square." Mimosa explained, making Noelle nod her head.
"Should I contact them?" Noelle offered, she still feeling happy that someone called her "Lady Silva".
"Yes please." Mimosa responded whilst nodding her head.
The silver hair girl took out the communication device out of her pocket and began to switch it on.
"Lets hope that don't get answered by that Ba-ha Magic Kni-!" Noelle began to thought but immediately stop when she and Mimosa watched as some of the stonework of the houses began to break apart and flew in the same direction.
"…" The two female Magic Knights gained blank expressions on their faces as they watch the flying stones.
"Come on, follow them!" Noelle exclaimed, coming out of her stunned state, whilst starting to run.
"R-right!" Mimosa said as she follow Noelle.
In an open area part of the town, a human-like Megid, who possess a red crown, a white beard, tower-like shoulder-pads and a cape, waves a red staff that is topped with a yellow jewel around.
"That's right, that's right! Gather around!" The red-crowned Megid exclaimed in a male/excited tone of voice as he watch multiple objects coming together and forming a structure of some sorts.
It was then that the crown-wearing Megid heard footsteps heading towards him instead away from him, like what the citizens of the town that were in the area, causing him to glance over his shoulder to see Noelle and Mimosa approaching.
"A Megid…..But it seems different…..?" Noelle thought as she saw the open book on his chest and the large quantity of Mana that the crown-wearing Megid possess.
"Noelle? Doesn't the appearance of a Megid usually follow with a piece of land getting transported to Wonder World?" Mimosa pointed out, causing Noelle to blink her eyes a few times before glancing up to see the clear blue sky instead of the sky of Wonder World.
"We can worry about that later." Noelle said as she took out Argent-Coronne from her Grimoire.
"Retreating!" The crown-wearing Megid said before the gem on his staff began to glow, producing a bright light.
When the light died down, both female Magic Knights saw that the crown wearing Megid has disappeared.
"…..Huh?" Noelle and Mimosa said as the same time, becoming stunned.
Some distance away, Storious, in his human form, observe what just has happened.
"That's right, there's no need to fight." The Megid General said before disappearing.
"So the Megid just left?" Tetsuo asked in blank tone of voice, making both Noelle and Mimosa nod their heads.
Right now, Noelle and Mimosa had went to the towns square and contacted the Magic Knight's headquarters like they have planned.
After a period of waiting Tetsuo, Rintaro have arrived from the Sword Of Logos whilst Letolle and David have arrived from the Golden Dawn.
"Is that something that occurs at times?" Letolle asked, becoming curious.
"No. As you usually hear, when a Megid appeared, a piece of land is transported to Wonder World and then stick around until an Alter-Ride book is completed, but as you can see, that hasn't happened." Tetsuo explained, making Letolle nod her head slightly.
"Maybe it wanted to do something first before teleporting the piece of land away. Mimosa and Noelle did say that the crown-wearing Megid is creating something." David pointed out, making the wielder of Sezume to frown slightly.
"I don't think the Megid Generals wouldn't like that." Rintaro pointed out, making David nod his head slightly.
"There was something different about the Megid." Noelle said, causing the newly arrived Magic Knights to look at her.
"The book-like symbol that is on the Megid is opened rather than being closed." Noelle said, causing both Tetsuo and Rintaro to wide eyed.
"Does this mean something?" David asked as he and the other two Golden Dawn Magic Knights became curious.
"No. the book-like symbol is normally closed. Things have become different….." Tetsuo responded, gaining a slight worried expression on his face.
"Regardless. You three deal with the Megid threat whilst us three search for the missing person." Letolle explained, making everyone nod their heads.
"Noelle, can you lead us to the structure that Megid started to create, he may make his reappearance around there." Tetsuo said, making Noelle nod her head before the six Magic Knights split off into two groups.
"So what does the missing person looks like, Lady Mimosa?" Letolle asked as the three of them walked down a random direction.
"Michael, the name of the person that is missing, possess short brown hair. I saw a picture of him, but I don't know when that picture was made, so I don't if he's still a child or not." Mimosa explained, making the other two to nod their heads.
"So where should we start looking?" David asked as he glanced at the other two.
"His mother said that he likes to creates models from any objects that he can find, so maybe he's somewhere where unwanted objects are gathered." Mimosa commented with a thoughtful expression on her face.
"So he could be hiding amongst a trash site?" Letolle asked, gaining a slight disgusted expression on her face.
"Maybe….." Mimosa responded before a thought slowly started to enter her head.
"Michael likes to build models and that crown-wearing Megid seems to be building something….." Mimosa thought, a bad feeling starting to enter her.
"Lady Mimosa, Are you okay? Your face have become pale." Letolle asked, starting to become worried.
"No, I'm fine thank you." Mimosa responded, putting on a reassuring smile.
"….." The Golden Dawn compass Mage didn't say anything, but still have a worried expression on her face.
It was at that moment that the three Golden Dawn Magic Knights spotted a person sitting down against a wall with a their head rolled down near the edge of an alleyway.
"Hey! Are you okay?" David asked as he approach the sitting down person.
"…..Huh?" The person said as he lifted his head up and Mimosa's eyes widened.
"You're Michael, are you?" The Vermillion hair girl asked, recognizing the male from the photo.
"Yes…...How do know that…..?" Michael asked in a slow manner whilst becoming confused.
"Your mother informed us that you went missing." Mimosa explained, feeling relieved that they managed to find the missing son with ease.
"How long have I been missing?" Michael asked, his speech slowly coming back together.
This cause a worried/confused expression to appear on Mimosa's face.
"Your mother reported that you went missing last night, going out with some friends and then didn't got home." Mimosa explained to Michael what his mother told her and Noelle.
"Oh….right…." Michael said, a worried expression appearing on his face.
"Do you remember what happened?" Letolle asked, coming to the thought that Michael's thinking process has become slow.
"I was…..heading home last where I encounter…..a person and then….." Michael began explain before trailing off, gaining a deep frown on his face.
"Did you went drinking with this person?" David offered, making Michael shook his head slowly.
"No….they approached me and then…..I found myself in this alleyway?" Michael responded, gaining a confused expression at the last part.
"You must have got pretty hammered last night if you can't remember anything." David commented, making Letolle sigh slightly.
"Anyway. We better take you home, your mother will be waiting for you." Mimosa said as she stretched an arm out towards Michael who began to take hold of it.
However has soon as their hands touched, a sudden spasm went through Michael's body.
"Michael?!" Mimosa exclaimed as she felt a pulse of Mana going through the brown hair teen.
Michael's body started to glow a bright yellow colour, promptly causing Letolle to pull Mimosa back.
Hadashi no Ousama!
A voice announced and when the light disappeared, the crown-wearing Megid stood in Michael's place.
"Whoa!" David exclaimed in surprised as he stumbled back.
"Michael….transformed into a Megid….." Mimosa muttered in a stunned tone of voice.
"Is that the same Megid that you and Lady Noelle were talking about earlier?" Letolle asked, taking note of the crown on Hadashi no Ousama's head.
"Yes…." Mimosa responded, still stunned about what just happened.
"Now! Time to get back to building my masterpiece!" Harashi no Ousama exclaimed before the jewel-tipped staff began to glow and the stonework of the alleyway began to break apart.
"Back up! Back up! Back up!" David shouted as he and the other two Golden Dawn members moved back from the alleyway just as screams can be heard as people's homes started to get dismantled.
"Michael! Please stop this!" Mimosa shouted in a worried tone of voice.
"You're in the way. Shoo, shoo." Hadashi no Ousama said whilst his free hand.
"Don't just "shoo" royalty!" Letolle said in an angry tone of voice.
"And you." Hadashi no Ousama said before firing a Mana-Bullet from his staff.
"Compass Magic: Willful Compass." Letolle announced quickly with an open Grimoire, causing a compass to appear in front of her and Mimosa, making the Mana-Bullet to change directions instead.
"Dice Magic: Gambler's Fallacy." David announced before throwing a dice that had come out of his Grimoire.
When the dice landed on the ground and stopped rolling, it showed four dots, causing a blast of Mana to shot straight towards Hadashi no Ousama, sending him flying backwards.
"Don't hurt him!" Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
"Sorry! I was trying to get a lower number." David responded with an awkward tone of voice.
"What should we do, Lady Mimosa?" Letolle asked, gaining an unsure expression on her face.
"I don't know, Noelle and the others haven't mentioned anything like this before…." Mimosa responded in a nervous tone of voice just as Hadashi no Ousama began to stand up back on his feet.
"Should we lure him to the Sword Of Logos Magic Knights? This is their area of expertise after all." David pointed out whilst getting ready to throw a dice again if needed.
"Yes. You two try to make the Megid(?) move whilst I contact Noelle." Mimosa explained whilst getting her Grimoire at the ready and taking out her communication device.
"Right. David, you focus on attacking whilst I use my magic to deflect the Megid's attack along with keeping damage to the surrounding area minimum." Letolle explained before realizing that the last part seems impossible with what the crown-wearing Megid is capable of.
"Right." David said whilst focusing his attention onto Hadashi no Ousama.
With the crown-wearing Megid, he started to become angry.
"No! No! I said to go away!" Hadashi no Ousama shouted before firing multiple Mana-Bullets.
Luckily, Lotolle used her compass magic to deflect the attacks.
"Here goes!" David said before throwing a dice at Hadashi no Ousama whilst giving a silent apologise to Michael.
Unfortunately, Hadashi no Ousama rushed forwards and used his staff to bat the rolling dice away.
"Erk" David muttered just as the Mana from his dice got released, hitting nothing.
However, David has to focus on other matters in the form of Hadashi no Ousama thrusting his staff forwards.
"Ohf!" The Golden Dawn dice Mage exclaimed as he fell backwards.
"David! Are you okay?" Letolle asked, becoming concerned.
"Y-yeah. I'm fin-Whoa!" David began to say but was interrupted as the grown-wearing Megid attempted to attack him again.
Luckily, David scrambled back just in time to avoid getting struck by Hadashi no Ousama's staff again.
"They're on their way!" Mimosa called, causing the other two Golden Dawn Magic Knights to smile slightly.
However, this cause Hadashi no Ousama to become angry.
"No! No interruptions. Need to make my leave again." The crown-wearing Megid said just he began to twirl his staff.
"Your not going anywhere!" David shouted before throwing a dice towards Hadashi no Ousama's feet.
Whilst this caused the crown-wearing Megid to stop twirling his staff, he used the momentum to hit the dice away from him.
Whilst the dice flew through the air, a compass appeared in front of it's path.
"That was a close one!" Letolle thought just as a large blast of Mana erupted into the air, signifying that it was a large number that the dice has landed on when it touched the surface of the compass.
Hadashi no Ousama is becoming more frustrated before deciding to charge straight towards Mimosa.
"EK!" The Vermillion hair girl exclaimed as she became startled at the crown-wearing Megid's actions.
"Lady Mimosa!" Letolle shouted as she attempted to create a compass in front of Hadashi no Ousama's path, but her body was still in a state of shock at the Megid's action.
Mimosa took a few steps back just Hadashi no Ousama appeared in front of her and began to swing his staff.
"I don't think that I can prepare a "Magic Flower Cannon" in time!" Mimosa thought just as Hadashi no Ousama began to swing his staff.
However, it was at that moment that a black armored figure appeared in front of the Vermillion hair girl and block the attack.
"Phew! Just made it." Saikou commented just before Saikou Shadow kicked Hadashi no Ousama away from it.
"H-huh?" Mimosa said in a stunned tone of voice.
"Are you okay?" Saikou asked just as Saikou Shadow turned around slightly.
"Y-yes." Mimosa responded, causing Saikou to make a "Hm-hm" sound.
"Why are there so many distractions!" Hadashi no Ousama exclaimed, stamping his feet in frustration before starting to make the tip of his staff began to glow before firing Mana-Bullets at Saikou Shadow and Mimosa.
"Shadow Magic: Sacred Sword's Shadow Travel!" Saikou announced just as Saikou Shadow wrap his free arm around the Vermillion hair girl.
"Eh?" Mimosa said in a stunned tone of voice just before she, Saikou and Saikou Shadow transformed into a mass of shadow which moved out of the way to avoid getting hit by the Mana-Bullets, causing both Letolle and David to sigh in relief before covering their eyes just as a blight light appeared and when it disappeared, the crown-wearing Megid has disappeared.
"So the Megid decided to retreat." Saikou commented just as he, Saikou Shadow and Mimosa transformed back into solid masses.
"He doesn't sound too disappointed….?" Mimosa thought, becoming confused.
"Thank you for protecting Lady Mimosa." Letolle said as she and David approached.
"Hmph. It's a sword wielders duty to protect the worlds after all." Saikou responded just before transforming back into his civilian form along with making Saikou Shadow disappear.
"Sword wielder? Who are you?" Mimosa asked, becoming curious.
"I'm Y/You!" A voice exclaimed, cutting off Yuri, making him and the three Golden Dawn Magic Knights turn around to the source of the voice to see Noelle, Tetsuo and Rintaro approaching them, the silver hair girl being the one that interrupted Yuri.
"Oh. Hello again." Yuri said whilst raising an arm in greeting.
"…..Do you three know this person?" David asked, him becoming startled at Noelle's shout.
"Yes, and we have some questions to ask you." Tetsuo responded whilst glancing towards Yuri.
"You're the swordsman of light?!" Mimosa exclaimed in a shock tone of voice.
Right now, the Magic Knights, plus "wielder" of Saikou, are having a meeting after they have calmed down the citizens that were in the area where the Megid dismantled the town along with reassuring them that they are dealing with matter.
"That isn't entirely accurate, but ultimately yes." Yuri responded whilst having a book in his hands.
"Where's Asta and what is Miss Rubah is planning with him?" Rintaro asked, him and the two other Sword Of Logos Magic Knights becoming slight anxious at their fellow Kamen Rider.
"Planning with him? It sounds that you think that the wielder of Shinkiro is an evil person or something." Yuri responded, making Tetsuo's eyes widened.
"Shinkiro?" Noelle asked, her and Rintaro, plus the three Golden Dawn Magic Knights notice the wielder of Suzume's reaction.
"Shinkiro, also known as the sword of mirages, is a Holy Sword that was crafted by the Daishinji family and used by the Sword of Logos until it left the squad and been in the possession of a group of Mages ever since an event that occurred in the distant past. Those who wield Shinkiro bare the name of Kris, the sword-wielder of mirages." Tetsuo explained, making everyone's, mainly the Sword of Logos Magic Knights and minus Yuri, eyes to widen.
"Kris? That sounds like an ordinary name in comparison with the other Sword Of Logos's code names." David commented, gaining an interested look on his face.
"Kris is a name of a type of sword." Tetsuo said, glaring at the Golden Dawn dice Mage.
"So Miss Rubah is the current wielder of Shinkiro…..but what sort of group of people does she belongs to?" Mimosa asked, glancing towards Tetsuo.
"You shouldn't be worried about the wielder of Shinkiro alone. There is someone else who is keen on protecting Asta." Yuri said, causing everyone to stare at him.
"Who?" Rintaro asked, becoming curious.
"He/Could we possibly save this conversation to another time, we have more pressing matters to attend to." Letolle pointed out, interrupting Yuri, before glancing upwards where large pieces of stones are floating within the air.
"Absolutely! So you three found the crown-wearing Megid and fought him?" The wielder of Nagare asked as he, and the other two Sword of Logos Magic Knights look at the three Golden Dawn Magic Knights whilst Yuri is taking quick glances to the book that he's holding.
"Yes….we found him…." Mimosa said in an awkward tone of voice.
"Did something happened….?" Rintaro asked, becoming worried.
"Before we found the Megid, who goes by the name of Hadashi no Ousama, we found Michael." Mimosa began to explain, causing the three Sword of Logos Magic Knights to widen their eyes.
"You did?! Where is he?" Noelle asked, starting to become relived before starting to become worried at the fact that she hasn't seen Michael with Mimosa and the other two Golden Dawn Magic Knights.
"When we about to take Michael back to his mother but…..he transformed into Hadashi no Ousama." Mimosa said, causing the Sword of Logos Magic Knights to become silent for a few seconds before becoming shock.
"What?!" All three shouted at the same time, making Yuri jump slightly.
"A human transforming into a Megid? Is that something possible?" Noelle asked, glancing towards Tetsuo.
"I may have read something like that before…." Tetsuo responded whilst gaining a thinking expression on his face.
"Do you know anything about this, Sir?" Mimosa asked, glancing towards Yuri.
"The Megid Generals are using a different method to accomplish their goal, instead of taking pieces of land into Wonder World, they're started to fuse blank Alter-Ride books into a person, causing them to transform into a Megid. Me, Asta and Miss Rubah have dealt with one already." Yuri explained, causing everyone to gain disturbed expressions on their faces.
"That's messed up….." David said just as he and Letolle remember getting possessed by the malice-infused elves.
"The Megid created through this method are more powerful because their human host's life-force and Mana are used to increase their own Mana and after a certain amount of time…..the human will vanish." Yuri further explained, causing everyone to pale.
"That probably why the Megid ran away when we first met him. He was buying time until the Alter-Ride book is finished" Mimosa said in realization, causing Noelle to nod her head slightly.
"Is there any way of separating the human from the Megid?" Letolle asked, gaining a serious expression on her face.
"Rekka, the sword of flames, has the power to accomplish this." Yuri responded, making everyone become quiet.
"…..Is there any other way?" Mimosa asked, seeing how that idea is out of the window.
"Luckily, there is another possibility which involves Saikou, the sword of light, being able to bestowal the separation ability onto other Holy Swords, yet weaker in comparison." Yuri explained, causing the Magic Knights to feel slightly relaxed.
"I guess that it makes sense that Saikou possess the same abilities as Rekka, being one of twin original Holy Swords." Tetsou thought with a frown on his face.
"So we can defeat the Megid without harming Michael too much." Noelle said with a small smile on her face.
"Unfortunately for you, since your Holy Sword is constructed different from the rest of the Holy Swords, Argent-Couronne isn't able to contain the power of Saikou." Yuri explained to the silver hair girl, causing her to gain a tick-mark on her forehead.
"We should start this….process straight aw-!" Letolle began to say but was cut off when she and everyone else felt a pulse of Mana and the floating pieces of stone suddenly started to move, heading downwards.
"What's happening now?!" David exclaim in a surprise tone of voice.
"Plant Magic: Magic Flower Guidepost." Mimosa announced whilst opening her Grimoire.
Everyone watched as the town entire seemingly started to change on the Vermillion hair girl's map.
"The entire town is changing?!" Rintaro said in a shock tone of voice.
"It looks like the Megid is starting to build his masterpiece." Yuri commented as he glanced upwards.
"There's seemed to a source of Mana at the centre, that seems where the Megid is." Mimosa explained as she studied the map.
"Come on, we need to hurry." Tetsuo said before he and the others started to move.
And here we go, we're switching back to the Clover Kingdom where Mimosa learned from Noelle about what happened with their last meeting with Asta before getting involved with the Hadashi no Ousama Megid. Yuri decided to give his aid to the Magic Knights and as you can see, I decided to change things so that Yuri can transfer the Megid-separating ability from Saikou to the other Holy Swords, apart from Argent-Couronne due to how the sword of steel is constructed differently, since Asta is a wanted man and can't just walk around the Clover Kingdom.
In Gotchard:
1) Minato explained to Houtarou that he's an alchemist along with being a instructor at the Alchemist Academy before suggesting to Houtarou about becoming a alchemist. The three arrived at the Alchemist Academy where Rin questioned Houtarou about how he acquired the Gotchard-Driver where he explained about his brief trip into the Ouroboros Realm and meeting Fuga Kudou, yet Rin stated that he's a traitor that stole the 101 Chemy Cards and vanished.
2) Houtarou is then told that a test is required for one to become an alchemist which involves finding the balance between two Chemy Cards. Within a park, Skebow decided to possess a skateboard and do tricks around the park with Kajiki observing the phenome before Skebow became attracted by human malice, causing it to ditch the skateboard and follow two robbers. Meanwhile, Houtarou was approached by Rin who explained the bases of alchemy, along with explaining how the Chemies are created from a one-in-a million chance of an experiment having an everlasting effect.
3) Meanwhile, one of the two robbers decided to throw the other off a bridge, having decided to keep the money all to himself, before getting consumed by Skebows, transforming into a Malgam and started to go on a money-robbing spree. The action caught (1)Hopper-1's attention, causing it to drag Houtarou to the Skebow Malgam who then transformed into Gotchard and started to fight, yet the Skebow Malgam managed to escape.
4) Minato appeared whilst riding (7)Gold-Dash which Gotchard took to chase down the Skebow Malgam and managed to defeat it and absorbing (2)Skebows into a blank Chemy Card. Back at the Alchemist Academy, Houtarou managed to pass the test...by requesting (1)Odorippa to go on a diet and (9)Kamantis to gain weight, a method not approved, yet was given a ring to perform alchemy. Whilst walking home with Rin, Houtarou is observed by Spanner who has a low opinion on him.
So along with wielding the powers of the Chemy Cards, Houtarou now has access to alchemy. With the test revolving around balancing the weight between two Chemy Cards, I think that this is the reason behind Gotchard's forms with the number ten being the balanced number. If this is the case, then I wonder how the number 10 Chemy Cards would fit into this. The name of the main villains the series have been revealed, the Abyssalis Sisters, based on the three greek sisters of fate. As of right now, their goal is seemingly stealing the Gotchard-Driver and using it to open the door of darkness, as to what that is, the door could be holding the demons that were mentioned in the story that Fuga read to Rin.
