A/N: This is written in the style of the bedtime stories that I tell my own children. They're intended to be about 5 minutes long if read aloud (in a Texas accent, of course!), and they're for the most part self-contained. Regular text is Corso's speech, and italicized text is anything that anybody else (Trina or the kids) interjects. My take on the smuggler is heavily inspired by the wonderful story Sneak Thief by Shelacula here on fanfiction dot net. If I manage to write something half as witty or cheeky, I will be more than satisfied! I have recorded myself reading these chapters aloud on archive of our own, should you care to consume this in the way I envisioned it. Enjoy!
