I blinked my baby eyes open, and an entirely different world unfolded before me. Bright lights and unfamiliar blurry faces greeted me. "I'm now outside of my mother..." I blearily thought, squinting my eyes, "Why can't I see clearly?" I tried to figure out the shapes I was seeing or even what I was looking at, "oh, right, newborn babies don't see clearly at first. Ugh... I hope it will get better soon."

Yeah, you guessed it; I was a baby, and everything felt so... new. My memories of my past life were fading, but memories of the show remained, and my determination to make the most of this second chance burned bright. It was like I'd been transported to a whole new universe, and, in a way, I guess I had. I was no longer a bystander; I was now a player in the game of life.

Now, I'm Bonnie Bennet, and it was time to take the plunge into the supernatural world of 'The Vampire Diaries.' Every breath, every adorable coo I let out reminded me of the fresh start I'd been given, and I was more than ready to embrace it, whatever it had in store for me.

Wrapped in the snug embrace of soft blankets and peering through my blurry baby vision, I couldn't help but eavesdrop on the voices surrounding me. People were all around, chatting away, and some just couldn't resist cooing at me. While my eyes were still getting used to the whole seeing thing, my ears, on the other hand, were working just fine. I could hear and even understand them pretty well.

"Look, Abby, she's awake," chimed a deep voice, seemingly from a guy, but his excitement was unmistakable. "Our Bonnie. She's so beautiful."

"I think this is my father," I pondered, attempting to see his face as he leaned in, his hand gently touching mine. I raised my tiny hands, making a feeble attempt to push him away, though my efforts weren't exactly successful. My baby thoughts were pretty clear, "I don't care if you're my father, but could you give me some space?" I could feel my face scrunching in what I assumed was a frown, although my father probably found it adorable.

"Ooooh, she's touching my face, and look at those adorable expressions she's making. She must know I'm her father," he cooed at me, trying to baby talk, but it came out more comical than sweet. "Yes, my Bonbon. I'm your Daddy. My princess is so cute."

"Ugh... I knew it. Are all fathers like this? What's his name again?," I wondered, and with that question in mind, memories and information about him flooded into my head.

Rudy Hopkins, Bonnie Bennett's dad, used to be a super caring and loving father. But things changed after her mom split. He got all wrapped up in his work, even though he still cared about Bonnie. As Bonnie got older, he started paying more attention to her and found out she had inherited her mom's witchy powers. At first, he freaked out about Bonnie having magic, worried she'd get into supernatural trouble. But you know what? Over time, he got it, like really got it. He realized her magical mojo was a big deal and became her biggest cheerleader. He saw the light and totally embraced Bonnie being a witch in their world.

I remember Bonnie's dad being a workaholic, leaving her craving more attention. She spent most of her time with her grandma, who had a bit of a kooky reputation. Bonnie thought her grandma was a bit loony because she'd always talk about witchy stuff. Surprise, surprise, it turned out that Grandma was a real witch, and she had been hiding her powers from Bonnie. She never revealed her magical abilities because Bonnie didn't show any signs of having magic until right before the pilot episode, which left Bonnie's magical education somewhat lacking.

"That's my granddaughter," a mature woman's voice chimed in. "She got all the good Bennet genes. She's gonna be a beauty when she's older." The slightly older tone in her voice indicated that it was her grandmother. Memories and information flooded her mind once more.

Bonnie's grandma, Sheila Bennett, wasn't really loony; she was just a witch who knew her stuff. Bonnie began to learn about her own powers under her grandma's guidance, and things started making sense. Sadly, her grandma passed away because she drained her powers trying to open the tomb. The whole tomb thing was kinda Stefan and Elena's fault, but Bonnie couldn't do much because she was still new to magic and didn't have the juice to open it. To add to the frustration, Elena didn't apologize or check on Bonnie after her grandma's death. In fact, she didn't offer much support at all. Elena only learned about Bonnie's grandma's passing days later, and that's just not how you treat a friend. So, yeah, their friendship wasn't the greatest, I guess.

Amid all the information swirling in my mind, a sweet but teasing voice chimed in, interrupting my thoughts. "Well, of course she's going to grow up to be a beauty. I mean, just look at me. It's all me," the voice came from somewhere nearby but sounded slightly distant, like the speaker was too tired to get closer. It was definitely my mom.

My dad playfully retorted, "Hey, come on, it's not all you," and they bantered back and forth, creating a lighthearted exchange. Even my grandma joined in with her added comments.

But in the midst of all this, I found myself zoning out and thinking about my mom. "I guess that's my mom, probably still wiped out from giving birth to me a few hours ago. No wonder my vision's a bit fuzzy. It'll probably clear up as I grow. But, what's her name anyway?" As I pondered that question, a flood of memories and information about my mother started filling my head.

Bonnie's mom, Abby Bennet, started out loving but ended up favoring Elena because her presence caused chaos. When Bonnie was just five, trouble brewed when a real menace named Mikael threatened Elena's life due to her doppelganger status. Abby, in a selfless act, used her powers to take down Mikael, but at a steep cost—she lost her own magical abilities. The jaw-dropping twist? Abby left, citing personal and complicated reasons, only to return later and reveal that she did it to protect her family from the supernatural world's dangers.

Now, this is just me talking, but I think Abby made a pretty selfish and not-so-bright move. I mean, let's be real, Bonnie couldn't dodge supernatural stuff with her grandma being a witch. And on top of that, her daughter was already besties with a doppelganger, which is like a supernatural magnet. So, it was pretty much a sure thing she'd dive headfirst into the supernatural sooner or later.

My attention drifted to the voices, not really registering them. Watching and listening to my parents, I got the sense that their relationship were probably similar to what I'd seen in the show. They might have ended up splitting up, despite their feelings for each other. Well, since I'm just a baby right now, I figured I could tolerate them, especially my dad and grandma— or, daddy and grams, as I should probably call them. As for my mom— I mean, mommy, I knew I'd have to learn to tolerate her too. After all, those events would happen when Bonnie— I mean, when I turned five. "Ugh... I should focus on becoming Bonnie first, and then call them daddy, mommy, and grams," I thought, a bit exasperated with myself for the little mistakes. "Oh well, being a baby gives me time to get used to it."

I cooed and gurgled, my baby babble seemingly a response to the weighty thoughts in my infant mind. I vaguely heard my parents and grams cooing at me in the background. Then I remembered the promise I made to Life, the deity who had given me a second chance, its weight rested heavily on my tiny shoulders. I was determined to be different from the canon Bonnie, to make choices that would reshape not only my life but also the destinies of those around me.

In the wild and supernatural world of 'The Vampire Diaries,' where magic and otherworldly stuff were the norm, I was all set to chart my own course. Even as a baby, I was determined to make choices that would benefit everyone, not just a single person.

First things first, apart from dealing with my baby-sized limitations, I had to focus on my magic. I needed to unlock my supernatural potential and learn about the magic in my bloodline, but without getting too dependent on it. Think of it like adding a touch of Hogwarts-style magical education into the mix.

Next on the to-do list: steer clear of the doppelganger. She was like a magnet for trouble, and I didn't want to get caught up in her chaos. Of course, it might be tricky since Miranda and Abby were friends with her in the show, but I'd have to figure out how to keep some distance.

I figured that besides working on my own path, I could also lend a hand to others, like Caroline. Her parents' divorce was bound to happen due to her father's true orientation, but her own insecurities, especially when she compared herself to Elena, needed some tweaking. No more of that self-doubt nonsense. Caroline could be this social butterfly, a perfectionist who cherished her friendships and was hell-bent on achieving her goals. She's already awesome, and no need for Elena's influence to mess with that.

Tyler definitely needed some anger management sessions on the down-low, so when his anger problems inevitably showed up, he wouldn't be a total loose cannon. We should also make sure he stays far away from his dad and those abusive tendencies. Pairing him up with Jeremy, both of them into drawing, seemed like a great idea. Similar interests and all that jazz could steer him toward a better path.

Plus, it might provide Jeremy with some much-needed support and help him stay away from drugs when his parents inevitably meet their tragic end. I had a hunch that this event was predestined and unchangeable, given that it marked the start of the show's events.

Matt and Vicky's situation is tricky, but I might be able to help. I could subtly suggest to Liz Forbes that she should consider taking custody of the siblings, given Kelly's lack of maternal skills. This might prevent Vicky from heading down a risky path with drugs and such.

You know, I should definitely consider helping Enzo early. I've got this idea: Grayson Gilbert had him under his care at one point, so I could stage a scene where drug addicts break into the clinic to steal meds, and in the chaos, they accidentally release Enzo. I'd make it look like one of the intruders met a grisly end, leaving behind a pseudo-corpse that I'd create. Then, I'd set fire to the building to erase the evidence and prevent any future scenarios where John might use it to burn vampires. That should rewrite some history!

However, getting a grip on my magic and some practice is a must before diving into this mission. The window of opportunity with Enzo and Grayson is pretty tight, so I'll need to be well-prepared when the time comes. Mission impossible, here I come!

Now, helping Mason Lockwood is a bit of a challenge. In the show, he was living in Florida and ended up triggering his werewolf curse through the death of his friend, manipulated by Katherine. Those dopplegangers really bring trouble wherever they go! But that's still a few years away. Maybe I could subtly drop some hints about the Lockwood family history to prepare him. That way, he won't be caught off guard when he triggers his wolf side and can keep his temper in check.

I thought about messing with the Gilberts' future a bit, like burning that bridge and sign early. But who knows? Fate in this world seemed to have its own plans, and trying to change it might be like swimming against a strong current. Nevertheless, I'd give it a shot, just to see if I could pull it off. You never know, right?

Now, let's tackle the Salvatores, the guard dogs, lapdogs, or whatever you want to call them. I needed to steer Damon and Stefan away from the magnetic pull of Elena Gilbert. The tricky part was that their past feelings for Katherine might muddy the waters, making them feel intensely attached to the Elena replica. After all, Damon had dedicated 145 years trying to free the non-existent Katherine from that tomb. It was possible he transferred those feelings to the replica, genuinely believing he was in love. There was another roadblock to consider as well. Stefan, being the doppelganger of Silas, had to contend with the pesky mutual attraction spell of the travelers for the doppelgangers. It was a complex web, and I had to navigate it all.

We've got years to make plans for everyone's arrival and all the challenges we'll face – from the tomb vampires to the Mikaelsons, heretics, hunters, Silas, Kai, and more. But for now, let's shift our attention to immediate problems: like crying because I've got that "I've peed and pooped at the same time" situation. Oh boy, so embarrassing!

Now, time to grab their attention. I scrunched up my little face and unleashed a hearty cry, "WaaaaaAAAAAAaaaHHhh!"

Rudy, my father, entered panic mode, clueless about why I was bawling. Meanwhile, my grandmother chimed in with instructions for the new dad, and Abby, my mom, couldn't resist adding her own two cents while teasing her husband about the situation.

I can't see clearly, can only let out coos and gurgles, struggle to control my hands properly, can't lift my body, and can't even manage my bowels properly. It's quite embarrassing. Ah, the joys of babyhood! Note the sarcasm.

Thanks for taking the time to read my fic. This is my second story here on Wattpad. Be sure to check out my other story on my profile; it's a reincarnation story based on the Descendants movie, focusing on the children of villains and their journey. I'm planning to make several changes to the story, so it won't be the same as the movie.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please leave them in the comments. I'm open-minded and may consider your suggestions. See you next time!
