Okay so I was texting Maegan and she sent me a screenshot from the last chapter of Steve calling William a lame-face...I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT I put that in as a joke and forgot to change it.

Also, I said my favourite insect was 'o ees'. I don't know what the heck that is, but I meant to say bees. The document was glitching out so bad I had to write this in a different one. Guess Google Docs can't handle the awesomeness.

Reviews!

MoonTheMagical: I know right? Bees are the most important animal on the planet, and they're endangered, it's sad.

mixsii: BAHAHA I mean true-

Naughtycat9 : That glitch is so annoying. I almost had a breakdown (not actually) but then I remembered I had banana bread.

Qxr: Yay, a longtime fan! And hmmm, maybe….we shall see…

Enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 46

Epilogue

Change.

It was an interesting word. One syllable, six letters. It meant that something different was happening, and it could be good or bad. And sometimes, you don't know how to feel about it.

Freddy Fazbear's was sued, which Ruby wasn't super surprised about. The place had been going down for years, and it was about time it closed. Jeremy's murder was just the breaking point.

So now Ruby was jobless, but maybe not for long. Christian Lee had said that he had a fantastic idea for a theme park, so maybe Ruby could continue working there.

Her mother and Jared got married a week later. There were flowers and tears and cake and all in all it was a good time. Rylie was an adorable flower girl, as expected, and their twelve and nine year old cousins Navy and Venus were actually kind of tolerable. Her mother's sister Daisy cried buckets, Adam was the best man, and the Carter kids were an okay amount of chaotic.

Her mother's parents were slightly less judgy than usual, and Jared's mom was loud and touchy with big hair and bright makeup but all in all, rather charming. Plus, some random girl with red hair sharpened a knife in the corner ominously, which was fun.

They moved into Jared's mansion, which was nice: three stories, a pool, lots of glass and marble and chrome, but Ruby secretly preferred their old house. Sure, it was small and run-down, but it was home. But the mansion was, technically, better, and now Ruby got a giant room plus bathroom all to herself.

Her summer was full of splashing in their pool or the ocean with Tulisa and Josh, and sometimes Olive or Ginger. Definitely a fun time.

Tulisa was, of course, sad about Isaac's death, but she managed to get over it. Ruby had taken his body up to the surface (wearing gloves) and placed him in an alley, calling and telling his family he had died protecting them from a crazed man. Tulisa decided to take a break from boys, which Josh told them that never lasted long.

Raven left for college in late August, and the house felt empty without her. Her older sister had been with her Ruby's entire life, and it felt unnatural to be without her. But Ray had promised to call, which she'd done every single night. Ruby always looked forward to those calls.

And most of all, she missed her friends. Freddy, and Bonnie, and Foxy, and Mangle, and especially Chica. Chica was her bestie, after all. She just hoped they were having a good time in heaven or the afterlife or wherever ghosts went when they died.

But yeah, Ruby's summer was fun. Better than usual. A bittersweet two months of sun and ice cream and saltwater, and the exciting promise of senior year to look forward to.

Ruby smiled and pedaled on her bike faster. No matter what life threw at her, she knew she could handle it. She'd survived murderers and robots, ghosts and mysteries.

And when she had ordered her pizza, she would welcome the side of murder that came with it.

"This place is mad creepy, Al." Ian complained, sweeping at a pile of cobwebs in the corner with an old scratchy broom.

The two of them had been hired by a loud gamer guy who promised lots of money if they cleaned up the place at night, plus free tickets to the house of horror. And Allen's little brother Kohen had been non-stop begging to go there, so it was an offer that Allen couldn't refuse.

"I know, right? It's almost like it's a House Of Horrors!" Allen gasped sarcastically. Ian rolled his dark brown eyes.

"Not like that, idiot. I just mean that it's got this weird sort of ambiance, an aura...I dunno, dude, it just sort of gives me the heebie-jeebies."

"Did you seriously just say 'heebie-jeebies?" Allen scoffed. "Who are you, my grandfather?" He leaned down and picked up the jade-green neck of a smashed beer bottle, chucking it carefully in his black trash bag so as not to get cut by the sharp edges.

Ian shrugged.

"I told you, I dunno! Maybe it's that sketchy old animatronic Christian found washed up in some ditch. The way it just...stares." Ian shivered and rolled up the sleeves of his emerald green hoodie to reveal dark muscular skin. Ian had been your stereotypical jock back in high school, and it showed.

Allen glanced over at the moldy greenish, rabbit-like tattered old thing. Ian was right, it was super sketch. Finding an old robot in some random ditch outside of town? Unlikely. Allen sniffed the air and wrinkled his nose.

"Eughh. God, that thing reeks. I bet it's super unstable too." Allen said.

"Maybe Fazbear's is gonna get sued again. I mean, didn't one of their animatronics murder someone?" Ian mused.

As if on cue, the rabbit suit fell to the side, slumped over. The two men yelped in surprise and jumped back, clinging to each other like scared little girls. Allen shook his head, blonde curls flying. He was done.

"Nope, nope, nope. I'm not doing this. Let's clean somewhere else, okay? You're right, this place does give me the... heebie-jeebies."

Ian laughed and followed Allen out the door.

"Told ya. So, anyways, I was playing Craftmine the other day, and some dude just spawned on…"

When the two boys left, the room was oddly silent. Nobody there besides the watchful stares of eyes drawn with markers on simple paper plates that hung on the wall. And, of course, the creepy old rabbit suit that sat in the corner.

The suit had sat in the ditch for two months before being pulled out of the ditch by a girl who'd worked at Freddy's a while back, Iris or Isis was her name. She had delivered it back and given it to Christian Lee, who gladly took it in. After the toy animatronics had mysteriously gone missing last month, he had no ideas for spooks besides some crappy plastic pop ups and people in sweaty polyester fursuits. But now he had this, and the spook factor was sure to rise! Ah, he'd have trillions of bucketloads of V-Bux by the end of the year, he just knew it.

Wind fluttered around outside, carrying the last summer heat with it. A wolf howled in the distance. And against all odds, all logic and reasoning, the corpse inside the moldy old suit blinked it's flat gray eyes open.
