Doomguy stood in the middle of the street as his mind was going elsewhere. He couldn't wrap his head around of this place. Apparently, this was some kind of hell, some odd afterlife. But this hardly looks like the perpetual torment the Slayer has gone through. And hell is suppose to be this awful place that only the worst of the worst go to and a place that is suppose to make people want to be good. But this hardly looks like a terrible place. No, not like his hell, full of fire, lava, broken landscapes, disgusting and terrifying creatures that will tear you limb from limb and devour you. A place full of just pain and suffering that will torture your soul until the end of time. He watched the so-called...demons that inhabited this place go about their day. He assumed that these are all humans as they managed to remake a society in the afterlife. He had no reason to go and kill them all because they are technically demons. Not saying he wouldn't kill em if they tried to kill him or downright pissed him off.

His mind got to lost in thoughts and watching all the demons go by that he was still in the street. He heard a honking noise followed by a car coming to a halt in front of him. The Slayer didn't even move an inch as the car almost hit him. He stared down at the car's hood, but then heard as someone opened the car door and shut it.

"Hey! Why the hell are you standing in the middle of the road? Yer lucky I didn't run you over," the demon said. He didn't come to the Slayer as he stood near his car. The Slayer stood still as he stared him down. "Um hello?" He said again as the Slayer didn't make any noise. "Do you even understand what I'm saying?"

The Slayer slowly walked up to the demon. The demon lost all his confidence as he started to become afraid as the closer the Slayer got to you, the scarier he became. The demon felt the metal outline of his car and knew he was out of room to back up. He began to panic as the Slayer towered over him. He couldn't even make out the Slayer's face through the dark glass from his helmet. It was more of a one-way mirror as the Slayer could see bright as day from the other side.

"W-Wait wait. I wasn't trying to insult you. What kind of demon even are you?" The man said to the Slayer. The Slayer could see out of the corners of his eyes that he was being watched by a crowd of demons staring at the unfamiliar face in this hell. He gave the man a mean glare, which the man could see as the Slayer got up in his face. "What the hell. You're a...that ain't possible."

The Slayer decided to show some kind of mercy to this man. He just slowly turned and walked away. Passed by the other cars that were stopped behind that one. The Slayer didn't turn his head to look at all the demons that were locked on to him. He just kept looking forward, always keeping his sight on the path ahead. The Slayer couldn't help but avoid attention, which is something he didn't really care about as it was something that he just ignored. The Slayer did move his eyes around as he kept looking at his surroundings. He saw what looked like apartments, stores, diners. Signs everywhere that had to do with drugs, sex, booze, and...well mainly those three things.

He didn't even know if what he was seeing was real. This had to be some kind of hell, but this was a joke to him. In a way, he became pissed off looking at this place compared to his homeworld. If hell was like this damn place, he would have never had to go through all this constant torment, all this pain, all this loss. But it couldn't change now. The Slayer's objective was to leave this place, as he had no business being here and wanted to get out as soon as he could.

As the Slayer kept walking he started to hear something. It was...music. It sounded quite loud. But he didn't stop. He kept on walking down the sidewalk with both of his fists balled up as he usually tended to do. Always ready to fight. But he couldn't help but notice that the music got louder, he turned a corner and nearly collided with yet another demon. He slowly looked down at the other demon that stood in front of him. This one wasn't terrible short as the demon's eye line was about at the Slayer's collarbone. This demon was dressed in complete red and had a huge smile on his face as he stood in front of the Slayer. The music seemed to quiet down too.

"Oh! Well, that was a close call good fellow. That was almost quite the catastrophe," the demon said with an obvious hint of sarcasm in his voice that the Slayer noticed. While not moving his head too much, he overlooked this demon in front of him. Yet another one carrying a humanoid look but partial animal features. The Slayer easily noticed the little antlers on top of his head with his two big ears pointing upwards. Like a deer. "Good man, weren't you taught that it's impolite to stare, I know it's hell and all but, WE CAN NEVER FORGET PROPER ETIQUETTE," the demon said. He saw as the demon's eyes grow dark while antlers were coming out of his head. It was followed by loud static noises, and the demon gave him a large smile showing his sharp teeth. The Slayer assumed this was suppose to be a type of scare tactic. But he didn't even flinch. The demon returned back to his original state with an intrigued look on his face. "My, my. You didn't even flinch, didn't even look scared. How interesting. Even the most rugged and biggest brutes hell has to offer cower in fear, but you? You're different. Although I do not even remotely recognize you."

The Slayer heard as the music came back to life again. It was a type of old jazz. Jesus, the Slayer couldn't even remember the last time he heard that kind of music. He also saw the demon make a microphone come out of nowhere. It was obvious to him now that this demon had powers. Maybe they all did. But then that thought disappeared as those lizard demons used regular guns to try and kill him. So maybe that's not the case. He watched as this demon walked around the Slayer using his microphone to point out things.

"Look at this swell suit of armor you have on, this...design and look, I've never seen anything like it in all my years, and I've been here for many, many years indeed," the demon said making himself laugh. He didn't touch the Slayer's armor but simply pointed at it. "Oh? You are quite a strong fellow, look at those arms. Very impressive my good man." The demon kept on pacing around until he got back in front of the Slayer. "Hm, you're not a demon at all. You're a human right?" The Slayer as usual said nothing and just kept staring him down. This demon seemed to make the noise of disapproval. "Staring and not speaking when you are spoken to. Your parents, whoever they shall be, must not have taught you very well." The Slayer stayed where he was. This demon was starting to annoy him. "Hello, is this thing on?" The demon held his microphone towards the Slayer.

To the Slayer's surprise, the mic spoke "I hear ya, I don't know what's the matter with the guy." The Slayer about snatched it out of his hands and snapped it two.

"Well then, I guess you are not a talker. Big. Strong. Silent. Hm, interesting," the demon said. The demon would remain unknown to the Slayer at this point in time, but this was Alastor. One of the strongest demons to step foot in hell given the nickname of the Radio Demon. One of the main reasons that hell is down a large number of overlords. And Alastor could usually use his power and scariness to make demons do what he wanted make them his toy or just kill em for fun if he wanted to. He knew for a fact this guy was a human, but this guy was giving him nothing. He showed absolutely no fear, no emotion. It was like he was speaking to a statue. "If you trying to fit in with the rest the demons, you will most likely fail. I can easily tell you're a human. Hell, I was once a human too! No demon would have that skin or have the figure you do. You obviously come from earth, but how exactly did you even step foot in this world? Due to your commitment to silence, we may never know! Ha Ha! Such a shame. But Alastor is the name and it should be a name you DON'T forget. But, my morning walk has been interrupted long enough. I shall see if I see you around human."

The Slayer turned his head to watch this demon known as Alastor fold his hand behind his back and walk away. He seemed to be a pretty feared person as the other demons kept away from him. The Slayer was causing a lot of attention here and frankly being bothered by too many people here. He was not one for small chats. He wondered if he should try and be discreet. But that was not really his style anyway. His loud and heavy footsteps would always give him away anyways and destroying things was just so much easier for him. He didn't know how he was going to get information about this odd place as he couldn't really tell what he wanted to know. Yes, the Slayer broke his silence to speak to the Dark Lord, but that was a very different situation. His own creator, the person mainly responsible for his hatred for the demons and the one who sent war on earth. The Slayer still rarely spoke, but when he did. Shit was going down. The Slayer didn't know for sure if he should break his silence to ask the demons about this place and figure it out. He didn't take any vow of silence, he just speaks when he absolutely wants to.

He then raised both of his hands and cracked each one of his knuckles slowly, waiting for the crack. After his knuckles, he cracked his neck too. Due to the fact that he had to keep on getting confronted, he didn't know if these demons were going to take him as enemy numero uno. So if they did, he was ready. But I guess he was always ready.

Elsewhere

The soft tender jazz music filled the space around him. As per usual on one of his walks, people ran away in fear of the Radio Demon. They either did that or just made sure they were EXTRA nice to him. Alastor hummed the tune as he usually did walking down the streets of hell. While he tried to ignore it, that massive human he just encountered was just an interesting sight. Alastor had never seen a human that big before, but the size didn't matter to him one bit as he had god-like powers. Just the way he acted. Alastor decided to shake it out of his head as he was heading back to his new business venture of that hotel run by the princess. The newly changed Hazbin Hotel. Alastor still showed full commitment in making this whole idea of redemption...work I guess. Although he didn't believe in it whatsoever.

He began walking up the stone path still humming his tune. He removed his hands from behind his back as he needed them to open the doors to the hotel. He pushed them open and slowly marched through the hotel's lobby. The music still going and the humming still coming from Alastor's mouth. As he walked through, he saw the feline demon whose soul was in his hands passed out on the counter. Alastor turned off the music as he didn't want to wake him. Just yet at least. Alastor did enjoy tormenting Husk in a joking way, although Husk hated it with a passion. Alastor sat down in one of the spinning, circular seats at the bar right next to where Husk was laying. He raised a fist in the air and yelled,

"HUSKER MY GOOD MAN!" He said as he perfectly timed his words with a slam of his fist.

Husk shot up abruptly and had his eyes dart all around as Alastor startled him. Alastor kept his smile as he leaned on the bar, while Husk did not look very amused. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

"Nothing at all. Is something wrong with you? You seem to have a temper," Alastor said.

"A fuckin' temper? Fuckin' really? You try being in a damn sleep and having someone make a loud ass noise right by yer ear. Thought something fuckin' exploded," Husk said rubbing his eyes.

"Well, the day is upon us. There is no time to be lazy and sleep the whole day away." Alastor said as he reached down and grabbed Husk's hat from off the floor. He brushed it off a few times before pressing it down on Husk's head. Husk gritted his teeth as he wanted to say something but didn't, "How are you suppose to man the front desk if you're always in that coma of yours?"

"I don't need this shit. With you always around here breaking my fuckin' balls," Husk said as he actually adjusted his hat on his head so it fit properly.

"I have broken nothing, my friend. Unless you NEED something to be broken?" Alastor said with a smile as his eyes grew dark red.

Husk rolled his eyes at yet another loose threat made by the person who seems to control him, "Shit is getting old."

"If that is the case then we shouldn't have to keep having it. Remember you get all the booze you want and just have to simply man the desk. A job that does not require a ton of effort to complete yet you seem to give none," Alastor said.

"Yer full of shit. I ain't done just fucking nothing here. BESIDES, there is still not a fucking soul besides us, Niffty, the pornstar, and the princess and her fucking girlfriend or whatever," Husk said.

"It seems as if the alcohol has clogged that head of yours. Have you really forgotten your fellow staff's names?" Alastor asked

"Does my answer truly matter to you?" Husk asked growing tired of this.

"Well there is a great way to get rid of any reminiscence of that alcohol is to be up and moving. So my feline friend, go make yourself useful and restock the bar. And maybe do some cleaning while you're at it. Presentations Husk. Now," Alastor said to get Husk to actually do it. And it worked. Husk groaned but actually did the task given to him. He was an odd kind of lazy. Alastor smiled as he watched Husk do the task assigned to him. But after a minute he went over to a nearby chair and sat himself down. He leaned back in the chair and crossed his hands together as he started to think about the Slayer again.

"A fearless human. That doesn't seem possible." He said to himself but quickly thought of an idea. He snapped his fingers and a live shadow appeared next to him and gave a smile. He leaned over to speak so no one else could hear. "Go find this...human. I want to keep an eye on him. To see what he does. I am too graveled by this person to just forget him," Alastor spoke to the shadow. He received a nod from the shadow as it disappeared. "A live human found his way into hell. I must see how this turns out," he said with an interesting smile on his face.
