Being tired and being burnt out is very similar but also are different. Being tired is simply feeling weary or in need of sleep. Being burnt out is feeling empty and mentally exhausted, devoid of motivation, and beyond caring. And it was safe to say, Angel was burnt out. Valentino wasn't kidding when he said it was going to be a long day and it was. It was late night now and he had fled to his room in Porn Studios. He sat down in his chair in front of his mirror. He let out a few deep breaths and ran a hand through his white hair.

"Fucking beat," he said to himself as he let out another deep breath. He sat back in his seat and looked at the ceiling in the room. Not like there was something for him to look at, he just wanted to clear his head. He was just about to strip out of his boots, stocking, and skirt until he received a text on his phone. He didn't know who it was from as it was facing down. He let out a sigh and reached for it and turned it to his face. "Fucking great." He said as it was from Val.

Val

Angel...are you there?

...

Angel

Yes Val, I am

...

Val

I hope you haven't left yet Angel Cakes

...

Angel

No Val, just in my room

...

Val

Good, come to my office, got something for you to do

...

Angel

Is there really another client? I'm fucking beat Val

...

Val

I never said if there was another client now did I? Just come to my office

...

Angel

What is going on?

...

Val

Now Angel. And don't bother changing this time

...

Angel

Yes Val

...

This led Angel to let out another sigh. He was already agitated tonight and just wanted to go back to the hotel, maybe have a drink, maybe do some blow and maybe cuddle up with his pig. He put his phone down and walked over to his door, not bothering to put on any shirts or upper wear, leaving his pink and white fluffy chest exposed. He walked down the hall with both sets of his arms crossed as he approached Valentino's door. He knocked a few times before hearing an answer.

"Come in," Valentino said.

Angel opened the door and trails of red smoke filled Angel's nostrils and also the room as he entered. He was still tired and went over to sit down in one of the chairs in the room.

"W-What's up Val?" Angel asked with a nervous smile on his face.

Valentino was currently counting the money that Angel had made from his acts today. Angel would usually always bring in the good money. He placed the money on the desk, let out another blow of red smoke, and looked at Angel with his big smile. "You had a good day today Angel Cakes."

"I figured as much since I started so early," Angel said as he was trying to mask the annoyed tone in his voice.

"Yes. I hope it didn't bother you TOO much?" Valentino said asking a rhetorical question.

Angel kinda had to respond no, "N-No, not at-t all." His response was a little hard to get out. The smoke seemed to be messing with his head as it felt like he was being choked.

Valentino got up out of his chair and walked slowly to Angel. Angel stared at Valentino as the smoke still propelled around the room. He walked next to Angel and put an arm on his chest and ran a finger up his neck to his chin before removing it.

"You look pretty cute today Angel Cakes. I can see why you seemed to attract so much attention today," Valentino said as he passed by Angel. A trail of smoke seemed to go up Angel's body as well.

"O-Oh, thanks...mista Valentino," Angel said. This had been too similar of a situation that Angel had been in before. He had a feeling where this was going.

"You don't have to thank me at all," Valentino said. He walked in front of Angel and leaned against the desk. Angel felt uneasy as Val stared at him with a big grin. "And it wasn't a very exciting night for me. And you know that Vox is gone. Gone doing his little...thing on the news. And who really knows when the hell he's going to be back."

"Right. Who knows," Angel said with a short laugh as he was just playing along. The smoke started to wrap around his body.

"Stand up sweetheart," Valentino said with an upward motion with his finger. Angel did as instructed and got up. His bottom two arms hung at his side and his top two arms were crossed over his chest. Valentino walked around Angel and opened the door. He walked out and held it open. "Follow me Angel Cakes." Angel did as instructed and followed him. they walked to a nearby room. Angel knew exactly what it was. "Go on," Valentino said. Angel opened the door to the heart-shaped bed in the center. The room had a fair amount of lights, but the lighting was dimmed. A type of mood lighting as you could call it.

Angel took a few steps inside. "Son of a fucking bitch," Angel thought to himself as his night was not going to be over yet.

"I must admit I am still a little hurt from that little incident earlier today. With all of that and with my night being so shit, I have a good way you can make it better," Valentino spoke softly. He placed two of his hands on Angel's shoulders. He bent down so his head was near Angel's ear.

"V-Val I have been at this for hours now. I'm sorry that ya night has been this way, but can't I get like a night off? You know you could always g-" Angel said but was cut off as Valentino shoved him hard which caused him to fall onto the bed. Angel's eyes clenched until he looked back up to see Valentino walking over to him. Valentino had a large smile on his face, in this lighting, it looked like his teeth were glowing. From this view, he was completely towering over him.

"Angel, you always seem to forget that I own you. You are done, when I say you are done," Valentino said as he tossed his hat and glasses aside. He then began to mess with his coat, "Don't be like that Angel, let's have ourselves some fun." Angel was no longer in control, the smoke kept on conflicting his decisions. Valentino was in full control now, Angel had nowhere to go.

(Some time later)

Angel laid there on the heart bed. His makeup was somewhat messed up as it was smeared on his cheeks. Angel stared up at the ceiling with Valentino laying down next to him. Yet another night Valentino had his way with him. Valentino began to move on the other side of the bed, but not Angel. He still laid on the bed making no attempt to get up. Valentino stood up and began to put on some of his clothing. Angel simply looked at him out of the corner of his eye. His vision returned to the ceiling as he still thought his night wasn't exactly over. As Valentino held his long cigarette he could see Angel was in fact awake.

"See Angel Cakes, wasn't that fun?" Valentino asked.

"Of course Val," Angel said still looking at the ceiling.

"You need to really lighten up sweetheart. If you chose to be fucking sour about shit, you'll never have fun with it. You can go, just be ready for next time," Valentino said as he turned away from Angel to look out one of the windows.

Angel let out a quiet sigh and sat himself up. He had to put his "performing clothes" back on as that was the only clothes he had at the moment. Otherwise, he was completely naked. He walked out of the room and back towards his. He opened the door and shut it behind him. He looked at his face in the mirror and saw how messed up it looked with the makeup. He looked around for a cloth or something to wipe his face and eventually found one. He tried to wipe his face as best as he could, but couldn't get it all. He decided fuck it and went for his usual clothes. After a few minutes, he was fully clothed again. He would have to wait until he got back to the hotel to fully clean himself. He took one last look in the mirror and adjusted his hair a little bit. It looked like he had two black eyes from the mascara. He didn't want to stay in here any longer, so he decided to take off for the hotel.

Back in the bedroom, Valentino still resided. He decided he wasn't going to throw on a full outfit as it was getting late. Valentino simply threw on his large red coat, basically to act as a robe as he only had underwear on underneath. He opened the door went towards the penthouse room where he, Velvet, and Vox would typically hang out when nothing was going on. He turned on the large flatscreen that was present in the room and went to prepare himself a drink and also a smoke. As he had poured a small glass of vodka, he went over and sat down on one of the couches to count the money that was made by others and not by Angel. It was a large sum indeed. As he was shuffling through the money, the door opened, and through the door came Vox.

"Hey babe. Hope you didn't miss me too fucking much," Vox said as he shut the door behind him.

"Fucking wondered when you would be back," Valentino said.

"Aw, so you did miss me, how sweet. " Vox said. "If you're wondering how the fuck my little news thing went, it wasn't nothing too fucking interesting. Got a new app I plan on producing."

"That's fucking amazing Voxxy. It's almost as amazing as when I asked," Valentino said with a large grin. He took another sip of his drink while Vox found his joke unassuming.

"Hah! Funny. I just got back and you feel the need to bust my fucking balls," Vox said.

"Where's the fun if I fucking don't?" Valentino asked. And it was a genuine question in Valentino's case.

"Oh, I know. You do it all the time," Vox spoke in response. There was a little bit of annoyance in his voice.

"You know I can do what I want," Valentino said with a smile on his face.

"I am aware," Vox said. The conversation died down until Vox thought about something he did end up seeing. Something that could actually be of importance."I don't know if this is a bad idea of me even opening my mouth because you'll most likely give me shit like you just did. But, when I was waiting, they did talk about the new person in hell. The apparent new guy or something like that."

"What fucking new guy?" Valentino asked.

"The human man, it was supposedly their top story. I found that to be bullshit as my story was definitely more important than some human. But what the hell ever," Vox began. He held a finger up to one of the small antennas in his head which created a small spark of electricity. He then shot the electric bolt at the TV which turned it on and started to play a rerun of the news story. "Gotta say, I've never seen a human do THAT before."

"Oh, this fucking guy again," Valentino said as they saw the broadcast from 666 news.

"You know him?" Vox asked as it seemed like Valentino did.

"I wouldn't call it that. When I went to get Angel, he was talking to this guy. But Angel told me this guy doesn't have jack SHIT to say. The guy is like some pissed-off statue. Hardly says or does anything," Valentino answered.

"Sounds like a fun guy," Vox said as he sat down in a different chair.

"Fucking oddball as far as I'm concerned," Valentino added in.

"What makes him so fucking odd? We were both humans once too. Yeah he seems strong as shit, but the guy still seems human," Vox said.

"He is a fucking odd human. It is clear he is not a demon, but he clearly has some kind of power," Valentino said before taking a sip of his drink. "No normal human could do that shit. Not even the strongest fucking humans could." They both saw the brief showing of the Slayer lifting a five-ton vehicle and single handily destroying it.

"Ha! Wow, If that pussy Pentious was truly operating that thing, he clearly wasn't having a good time," Vox said with a grin as he was not a fan of Sir Pentious.

"That's my fucking point. He clearly has powers. And if he was a demon he would probably be considered of overlord status," Valentino spoke as that made him think of something else.

"The fact that he did all that, looks different from most humans and somehow found his way into hell wasn't enough proof for you?" Vox asked which made himself laugh.

"Shut the fuck up Vox," Valentino said as he was not in the mood.

Vox stopped laughing before speaking again, "Okay, well then do you care to share what brought this up?"

"Besides the fact that it's all over the fucking place? But yes, I had a small thought. Due to the obvious fact, nobody knows who the fuck this guy is and what he can do, we should probably treat him like he's some kind of overlord. And not some human I thought I could push around," Valentino answered as he took another puff.

"I doubt we will run into him that much. Hell is a big fucking place," Vox said as he stopped watching the TV.

Valentino didn't speak anymore. He placed a hand on his chin and concentrated on the Slayer. Something about him was just something Valentino didn't trust.

Elsewhere in Pentagram City

The activity in hell didn't die down too much during the late hours. This seemed to be party time for most demons. Partying, drinking, sex, it was all a big theme. Angel just ignored all of it tonight. Angel crossed his arms and was walking down the sidewalk. It was quite late now, but Angel would admit that there have been times when he was out even later than this. Now those were some crazy nights.

Angel reached in his pocket for his phone. The time that it read was 1:21. It was later than he thought, that's for sure. He was planning on shoving it back in his jacket's pocket, until he thought of something. Or someone in this case. He unlocked the phone and went through all his contacts on his phone. He scrolled through his contacts until he found Cherri's number. He selected it and placed the phone up to his ear and waited for Cherri to answer. He kind of hoped she was awake as he just wanted to talk about something. Make the walk back a little more entertaining. It took a few rings, but Cherri did in fact answer.

"Hey Angel," Cherri spoke.

"Hey Cherri," Angel spoke softy.

"What's up?" Cherri asked.

"Nothing much. I got a bit of a walk back to the hotel. Just thought I'd call to see what was up. If this is a bad time I can call you later," Angel said not trying to be a bother.

"Angel of fucking course not. You know I'll always make time for ya," Cherri responded.

"Thanks Cher," Angel said. He had a small smile on his face.

"You alright? You sound like something is wrong," Cherri said as she knew Angel too well.

"Ya, I'm alright. Just an extra-long day. Val had me fucking going from this afternoon until now," Angel said with a tired sigh at the end. He ran a hand through his fur again.

"Shit, you must be exhausted," Cherri spoke.

"You said it sugar tits," Angel responded.

"Did...did he?..." Cherri began to ask. But she didn't know if she should say it out loud.

"Yeah. He did," Angel said as he knew what Cherri was going to say. "Which is why I wanted to talk to ya. Try and forget that shit."

"Yeah. I understand," Cherri said.

"So...anything cool going on?" Angel asked. He was getting even closer to the hotel now but still wanted to talk.

"Well had another battle with the old man," Cherri said.

"Shit and I missed it too. Did ya kick his ass for me?" Angel asked as that brought a smile to his face.

"I didn't this time, but someone else did," Cherri said.

Angel could hear her laughing on the other line, but didn't get this apparent inside joke. "What's so funny Cherri? And what do ya mean by who?"

"Pentdork pulled up in a big ass tank or something that looked like it. And out of literal nowhere, this massive man came in and wrecked his shit in a matter of seconds. It was something alright," Cherri answered.

"Massive man?" Angel asked.

"Yeah, the big guy people are talking about. Big as hell, dressed in green armor," Cherri explained which immediately made Angel remember.

"Oh yeah, I know who that is," Angel said and nothing more.

"Tried talking to him but the guy never said a word," Cherri said.

"Oh yeah, I know that. I actually saw him before I went in," Angel said.

"Interesting guy isn't he?" Cherri asked.

"I would say. I tried talking to him as well, but Val showed up which honestly fucked me over a bit," Angel explained.

"How so?" Cherri asked.

"Because he took some offense to me being with the guy. Val tried to go big dog on him, but nothing phases this guy. It's like he fears nothing," Angel said.

"You don't have to tell me twice," Cherri said.

"But hold on, you gotta give me details girl. What fully happened with you, this guy, and Pentious?" Angel asked.

(Hours Before)

The Slayer stayed where he was. Not making any attempt to move as he examined this one-eyed demon in front of him. He still kept his shotgun in hand as he expected this demon to do something. So far she wasn't. Cherri Bomb kept her hands up but didn't seem to be afraid, at least not at this moment in time.

"I know who you are," Cherri spoke to him. The Slayer almost found that intriguing as he didn't know if this demon was being serious or not. "Hell, I think most of hell is starting to know of you. Heard a shit ton of rumors, didn't think they were actually true," She said as she placed her hands down. That is what the Slayer thought she meant by knowing him. She then looked back at the destroyer, "I mean...shit...you somehow did that."

The Slayer actually took his eyes off of Cherri and looked back at the vehicle he just dismantled. He never really gave much thought to the inhuman acts he performed on a daily basis. Just went one ear and out the other. As he was looking at this make-shift tank he could see sparks and smoke coming out from the vehicle now. The Slayer believed it would catch fire or explode at some point. He kept looking until Cherri spoke again.

"Your obviously new here. I'm Cherri Bomb, but most just call me Cherri," she said. The Slayer slowly returned his eyesight to her when she spoke. "That guy who you just fucked up over there, that's Pentious. He's an annoying inventor who thinks he's the shit. Always trying to take my turf as well. OH, I do greatly appreciate the backup by the way."

The Slayer made the assumption now that this demon was not trying to hurt him and was not an immediate threat. He then made a motion of moving his shotgun behind his back. When his hand emerged again, the shotgun was gone. The Slayer partially began to turn his body to the opposite way. He figured this conversation wouldn't be of use to him so he began to walk away.

Cherri didn't bother saying anything about him leaving, as this was a basic one-sided conversation. She left it with one more thing, "Maybe I'll see ya around Muscles."

The Slayer paused for a moment, seemed to look down, before beginning again. He doubted that he would see this girl again as this place seemed never-ending. The Slayer was more focused on what his next step was gonna be as the chaos kept on following him. It may be time to become more and more discreet.

Cherri watched as he was beginning to walk away. Her attention then went to the vehicle. A collection of the egg bois began to go towards it. It made her think that Pentious was probably still alive. So she began to venture on over.

Over near the vehicle, the egg bois couldn't find Sir Pentious at first. Until they saw the top hatch bust open. And out of the hatch slithered Sir Pentious.

"Your alright Mr. Bossman!" one of the surviving egg bois said as Pentinous emerged.

Sir Pentious slowly dragged himself out of the vehicle and onto the hard pavement, "What..in the HELL...was THAT?" He asked as he came to a halt and laid on the ground catching his breath.

"Big, scary man sir. Tossed your vehicle with his bare hands," the egg boi said.

"WHAT? This thing weighs like five tons. That's not possible," Pentious said as he began to sit up.

"We saw him, Mr. Bossman. He did," said by an egg boi.

Pentious let out a frustrated sigh. "Who did this? What does he look like?"

"He's over their sir. Walking away," the egg boi pointed in an opposite direction. Pentious began to crawl over to the other side of his destroyed destroyer to see what they were talking about. He saw the Slayer in the distance walking away. Pentious squinted to make out the Slayer. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out an extended telescope. The lense was somewhat cracked but he could still see somewhat. He could fully see the Slayer's body and his armor as he kept on walking away. "Who in the BLAZES IS THAT SPECIMEN?"

"We don't know," one of the egg bois answered.

"That armor, what in all of hell is that made out of? That couldn't have been made here, no that's too advanced," Pentious spoke. Mainly to himself. "How sophisticated. I must know where he got it."

"Your not going to ask him are you?" one of the egg bois asked.

"Well you DON'T THINK I'M GOING TO READ MINDS DO YOU?" Pentious exclaimed. That made some of the egg bois cower in fear.

"But sir, he just tried to kill you," the egg boi mentioned.

"On the contrary. He would have no way of knowing that I am the one in the vehicle. IT IS COMPLETELY SEALED. And he walked away too. He'll never know," Sir Pentious said.

"He'll probably know alright," a voice said. It sounded really nearby as well.

"Who SAID THAT?" Pentious asked. He looked left and right, but not the direction where he needed to. And that was up. On top of the vehicle sat Cherri. She was dangling her feet and looked at him with a sinister grin.

"I knew you were old, didn't know your vision was fading on ya too!" Cherri said trying to work Pentious up.

"You should realize that I am as SHARP as ever," Pentious responded feeling very confident.

"Right, and that sharpness you claim to have really came in handy here didn't it?" Cherri said asking a rhetorical question.

"HA HA HA!" Pentious said laughing sarcastically. "You got lucky and got some unfair help from that...OUTSIDER. But now he's gone, and you do not have any more help!"

"Heh, I don't need help when I have these," Cherri said while holding four bombs, two in each hand.

"Shit," Pentious said softly. Cherri raised them high and tossed them downwards.

(Present Day)

"Well fuck me, the guy seems stronger than I thought," Angel said.

"Seems so. So after a good day's work, I got Pentious and his shitty gadgets off my damn turf again. He'll probably be down for a while," Cherri explained.

"Well damn, would have been nice to kick his ass right about now. Take out some aggression I guess," Angel said.

"Yeah. I bet Angie," Cherri said softly now as she could tell how Angel was feeling.

"Well I am just about to get to the doors of the hotel, so I'll probably go for now. Thanks for providing me with my nightly entertainment," Angel said with a short chuckle.

"For sure, anytime. You sure you're okay?" Cherri asked making double sure.

"I'll be okay. Just need to call it a night, I'm about to pass out at this point," Angel answered as he was now right in front of the doors. He wanted to wait until he was done talking to Cherri before he went in.

"Okay, catch ya around Angel," Cherri said.

"For sure," Angel said before moving the phone away from his head and hanging up. He couldn't tell how many times he had sighed, but he let out one more before going in. The lobby was empty, which is what he was hoping. The sounds of his boots seemed to echo against the walls. "I see Husk finished up our task. I kind of feel bad on bailing on him as I know that was probably not his favorite thing to do. Maybe I can make it up to him."

Angel then walked up a staircase and down the long hall so he could get back to his room. He opened the door and wasn't greeted by Fat Nuggets this time as he was currently sleeping in front of the bed. Angel almost decided to move him, but he seemed peaceful where he was, so he left him there. He then began to strip down to a certain extent so he could get ready for bed. He fell back on his bed and stared at the ceiling.
