Night had turned into day all over hell and its seven rings. And for one very large human man, he spent the entirety of the night trying to regain his strength. The Slayer didn't understand these changes that kept happening to him. It was something he hadn't experienced in a very long time, especially since he was given the power of the divinity machine. He believed he would still keep some of his strength as he still had pure argent energy flowing through his body, but he did figure out that this place wouldn't have the flow of argent like his world so he wouldn't have gained any from the demons he killed. He wasn't sure with the Dark Lord's defeat if he would lose all his energy, his power, and his life, as the Dark Lord was his creator. Only time could tell of something like that. But the Slayer wouldn't focus on something like that right now, he had bigger fish to fry.
As the night turned to day, the Slayer had finally located the elevator again. He didn't think he would find it again as he still didn't know the layout of this realm. And going in that limo didn't help as it brought him further away and made it hard to backtrack.
Now, he realized he hadn't spent much time in Lust compared to the pride ring. But with what was going on with him, he wanted to return to a realm he at least knew some of to let his strength come back to him.
Getting through the entrance to the elevator was easy as no one dared to stop him. The demons pretty much let him do what he wanted. The Slayer walked through the sets of doors and was back in the elevator's lobby area. This time, he was a bit more experienced on what to look for and listen for. He would wait until he heard that voice say the elevator was going back to the pride ring as well as match the colors of the gems to the color coordinated towards the ring. Now for the pride ring, he didn't know how long he was going to stay in it as he would probably want to do more investigating in Lust or the other rings. As said before, he just had to take some time of his own to try and figure out his whole situation. First, it was leaving this realm as a whole, now it's figuring out what is happening to himself.
After a bit of a wait time, he finally heard the voice on the intercom say the next elevator was going to the pride ring. He walked from his lone area towards the direction of the elevator. He boarded it along with the other demons and once again found himself a spot away from others. He took one of the open seats on the lower level of the elevator. This time, he decided he would pass the time by looking over his large arsenal of weapons since he had not used any of them in some time. One by one, he brought out every weapon. He equipped each attachment assigned to that gun to see if they were still working properly as it would be awkward if his gun malfunctioned on him in the heart of battle. But the Slayer didn't have to use guns, after all, he was plenty strong enough to rip beings apart with his bare hands, but where's the fun in that? He did not bother to bring out his sentinel hammer as that was of course a hammer and not a gun, so there was no point in checking it.
As time on the elevator passed, the Slayer picked up some side conversations about himself. He had gotten use to people talking about him as many didn't have the balls to speak with him directly. The main topic, besides the Slayer, was his weapons.
"Look at that!"
"How the fuck is he doing that?"
"Where in fucks name did he pull those out of? He wasn't holding all those weapons."
"Where did he get those guns from? Those motherfuckers look like they do damage."
The Slayer then heard the sounds of someone approaching him, but he didn't pay any attention to whoever it was. Right now he was focused on his baby, the BFG.
"Hey, buddy. This seat taken?" The demon asked.
The Slayer gave him no response as he looked over the BFG.
"I'll take that as a no," the demon said before sitting down next to him. He was defying the odds here. "Fucking A. A human on hell's elevator. Thought I'd seen it all."
The Slayer turned his head to see what this demon looked like and he didn't look like much. Torn clothes, some type of eye patch over his left eye, collection of scars on his face and arms. Looked like he had been in his fair share of scrapes and didn't look like one of the higher-class demons here. He looked back down at the weapon.
"That's quite a neat trick you doing there. Making those guns of yers appear out of nowhere. And those guns look one of a kind. Hell, I been here in...well hell for many years and I ain't ever see anything like that on the market. Usually, the rarest shit is those angelic weapons. Feels like everyone got those at this point. But those guns, ESPECIALLY that big ass thing. I mean god damn it looks like some kind of futuristic rocket launcher." The demon said.
That was one way to describe the BFG, although it was more destructive than a typical RPG.
"Something like that could easily sell for a whole fucking lot. Mind showing off what it does by giving it a fire? Just one, it's fucking hell, after all, no one will care," the demon asked.
The Slayer just slowly looked back at him with an annoyed expression. He completely ignored his request as he kept fidgeting with the BFG.
"Buddy don't fucking ignore me. Come on, how much for that thing? I could make a fortune on the black market for that. Look if you ain't gonna fire it, let me hold it," he said as he tried to grab it from the Slayer. Big mistake. He let out a groan of pain as the Slayer grabbed his left arm and squeezed it real tight as he didn't like people touching his things. He gave him a death stare before releasing his grip and then giving the demon a small shove which put the demon right on his ass.
The demon shook his head as he got to his feet and began to approach the Slayer. "Look here bitch, I don't know who the fuck you-." He stopped that sentence and let out a small gasp as the Slayer shot out his blade and held it a few inches from his throat. The Slayer wasn't even looking at him when he did that so if he did slit his throat, oh well.
"Okay, okay. You made yer fucking point." He said as he backed away and gave the Slayer his space.
The Slayer made sure he left, and once he did, he brought out his chaingun. But he didn't get to work on it for very long before hearing a loud ding and seeing the big doors slowly open which told him that he was at his destination. He sent the chaingun away and rose to his feet and exited as well. None of the other demons, especially the one he just encountered bothered to go first if the Slayer was by them as nobody wanted to piss him off. A lot of the demons in hell were kiss asses when it came to the most powerful beings in the realm.
As the Slayer maneuvered his way through the elevator's waiting area, he decided to follow some of the demons as they knew where the exits were. Once the Slayer walked through the doors which led him outside, he spotted the two guards that he had encountered with the first time. At the moment, they were busy with their own type of conversation.
"She was pretty pissed off that's for sure," the first guard said, sharing an event that happened with his mistress.
"It's fucking hell, she's really being that uptight about that shit?" The other asked.
"Fuck yes. She can be one crazy bitch at times," the first one responded.
"I don't know how the hell you deal with that," the other said with a short laugh.
"Cause she's hot. Fucking duh," the first one said.
"I still don't know if that's worth it. I mean-" the other guard began to say but stopped himself as he heard loud pounding sounds coming from behind him. It took him a second to locate the source, but he determined it was from behind him. He then turned around to see the Slayer walking his way and those pounding sounds were the loud footsteps of the Slayer. "Oh fuck me. Not him again." He then began to back up to stay out of his way. He didn't want to have another encounter with him again.
"L-Looks like he's back," the first guard said as he backed away as well and let the Slayer walk by.
"Yea. We gotta report this. Now." The second one said as the two of them decided it was best to leave their post.
Lucifer's Palace
Lucifer was stalling time at the moment as he tried to think of something to do. There weren't any tasks that called his name like usual and every task that he had to do was done. So he was simply patrolling his manor, examining paintings, items that he had already seen many, many times. But his boredom would be ceased at that moment as the house's telephone began to ring. In most instances, one of the butlers would answer the telephone for him, but since he was right there, he would go ahead and answer it himself.
"Who is it?" He said to whoever was on the other line and it didn't take him long to distinguish the voice on the other line.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the big bad king himself," Asmodeus said from the other line.
"Asmodeus," Lucifer said in his own greeting. "Did not expect to take a call from you."
"Yes, I figured. And I know you're probably busy and I won't take up too much of your time," Asmodeus responded.
"Okay. What is going on Asmodeus?" Lucifer asked.
"I don't know if you heard or not but I actually had a run-in with that human that found his way down here," Asmodeus said.
"WHAT. You RAN into the human?" Lucifer asked for clarification.
"Yes. Happened last night," Asmodeus answered as he didn't think it was a big deal.
"So that proves it that he was traversing the rings. Why would he go to Lust? Did he really go down there for some sexual favors? After all the shit he has been doing has he really not been able to control his own urges? " Lucifer thought to himself. Which wasn't a fair statement as most demons couldn't control their own urges. But there was no point in asking himself these questions as he had the man who would know best on the phone right now. So, he decided it was better to focus back on the phone and ask for himself. "So what happened, what did that human do down there in Lust?"
"Not a whole lot really. Spotted him walking down the streets of Lust, convinced him to join us for a ride, gave him a little tour of Lust along with the rundown, and then took him to see the best place in Lust, Ozzie's. Although while we were at Ozzie's, the strangest thing happened with him," Asmodeus said.
"What happened?" Lucifer asked.
"Everything seemed to be fine, then all of a sudden the human just collapsed out of nowhere. He seemed to be in some pain or discomfort as it looked like he lost the ability to walk. After that, he left Ozzie's and I haven't seen him since," Asmodeus explained.
"I see. And you do not know where he is now?" Lucifer asked.
"Can't say I do," Asmodeus said. "I am also wondering how someone like him can access other rings. I never expected to see him for that reason so it was a super unexpected encounter."
"If you're looking for me to answer that question, I also have zero clue. I do know how it's possible and wish I knew how. This...human must have something to bypass it that I don't know about," Lucifer said.
"Well that's a shame," Asmodeus said.
"This may be a pointless question, but did the human say anything? Do anything of significance?" Lucifer asked as he knew the answer.
"From what I said? Said nothing and hardly did anything either. I've never seen someone with so little emotion before," Asmodeus said, coming from someone who was quite flamboyant.
"You and me both," Lucifer replied as that answer did not provide him with anything of value.
"It sounds like you want to track him down. Why's that? Don't tell me you've outgrown the queen and are looking for another king to satisfy you? While he is very attractive, that just wouldn't seem like you," Asmodeus asked. He didn't expect Lucifer to say yes, just wanted to have a little fun.
"Absolutely not. I want god damn answers. As you mentioned, a literal human should not possess the power to access the barrier. I need to have another conversation with this human so I need information on his whereabouts," Lucifer replied.
"Well shit, I'm sorry, I cannot help you with that," Asmodeus answered.
"Yes. I am aware. Just keep your eyes open and let me know if you hear anything. That is your domain, so you should know of shit that goes on," Lucifer said, giving Asmodeus a new task.
"I can't guarantee anything. Tracking people is not my specialty," Asmodeus said.
"Surely somebody will find him eventually," Lucifer said as he got out the final words before hanging up the phone.
After he hung up the phone, he took off his white top hat and ran a hand through his golden hair before placing it back on his head. He didn't know because he had his back turned, but one of the butlers approached him with some juicy information.
"Excuse me, sire. I have some important news to share with you," said by one of Lucifer's butlers.
"What is it?" Lucifer asked as he turned himself around to face the butler.
"It was reported that the human was spotted coming off of the elevator located in the pride ring," he responded.
"WHAT? He's back in the pride ring?" Lucifer asked as this was the important news he needed right now.
"Yes sire," the butler responded.
"How long ago was this reported?" Lucifer asked as that would help him track the Slayer.
"Not very long at all. Around five minutes," he answered.
"Convenient," Lucifer thought to himself. "That's good, very good. As far as I can tell he doesn't own a vehicle and can't fly, so he just walks everywhere. That means he couldn't have gotten far."
"That is the most likely sire," said by his butler.
"Gives me a good chance of finding him," Lucifer said as he walked at a fast pace past his butler as he was now a man on a mission. He didn't want to waste time taking a vehicle as that would take too long to get to the elevator and make it harder to find the Slayer. So he would use his powers to teleport himself to the area. He pulled a Slayer move as he was currently standing on top of one of the buildings near the elevator as he could see it in the distance.
While Lucifer was looking around, he figured out the negative of using his powers to get to this area and not by vehicle. He didn't have a good way to traverse this area and he wasn't going to go on a goose chase of just walking everywhere. BUT why would he even have to walk anywhere being the person he is? He is Lucifer after all. A fallen angel. He turned his head and looked at his back like he was expecting to see the wings that he still possessed. He figured he might as well use the one good thing he got from heaven.
He got down on one knee, loosed his shoulders, and prepared himself. "Okay here we go. Haven't done this in a long time. But no way I forgot how to do it." His wings shot out of his back and with it he took flight for the first time in a very long time. With all the animal hybrids you find in hell, he still was one of the very few who possessed the ability of flight. He began to simply tread in the sky as he spent time looking back and forth, north and south, east and west. He looked around the general area of where the Slayer could have gone in about five to ten minutes of walking. He struck some luck as he spotted a green tint in the distance. A moving green tint and he knew there was only one explanation for a moving green thing. He slowly descended and came down to a gentle landing on top of a building in front of the green thing and it was 100% the Slayer. "Got you," He thought to himself as he spotted the Slayer. He slunk down to a nearby alley to make a type of grand entrance.
For a man like the Slayer, he had a type of sixth sense. He immediately caught wind of something...or someone. His eyes moved all around to see if he could find the source of what he just heard. When he wasn't finding it in front of him, he turned his head to the right to look behind him. And that is when he spotted Lucifer Morningstar coming out from a nearby alley.
"Hmph. Impressive awareness," Lucifer said to him although not filled with much joy.
The Slayer turned all the way around to face Lucifer. He didn't think he would be confronted by him again, so he was on his guard this time.
"Are you getting real acquainted down here in hell?" Lucifer asked. Although he stopped to look at a few demons coming down the street and gave them quite the glare. The demons figured out what that meant and knew they would have to go somewhere else, shit was probably about to go down. "You do not even have to answer that as I know you are. A bit too acquainted if you ask me." He realized he would have to time his words as there were a fair amount of cars going past on this road. A busy night in hell. "So...I mentioned this before when we very first met, the talk we had at my palace, I know you didn't forget it. I mentioned before that being the king and all I know pretty much everything that goes on, some things I could of course care less on. So of course I have heard even more of what you have done here. I saw that pathetic and scared shitless demon on the news that claimed you were the biggest and worst person he'd ever come across. I...also found out that you barged your way through and into elevator 666."
The Slayer noticed his pause after he said something about the elevator. The tone he used, the slow delivery, using whatever kind of power he had to make his voice sound more demonic. The Slayer could tell Lucifer wasn't too happy about something. He was starting to assume what it was.
"I will admit I was very heated when I learned about you doing that, as that is something you should NEVER be able to do. But youuuuuuu. You somehow keep on defying the odds. But, as I made my way over here, I really thought about our first talk. I never really explained shit to you did I? Never really gave you the rundown of the laws in hell. I mean you're a human, allegedly. There's no way you would have known that doing what you have done was a big no no. So, I guess I'll give you a better rundown of hell, a better rundown of my realm. That elevator that you somehow got into and used is very, very special. One of a kind system. You will never find something like that anywhere else. It is a very special elevator like I said. It is meant to allow alllll hellborn demons to access all the seven rings of hell. Anyone else, like the former humans who died and came to hell, are not able to use it. And it's not like they could just try to barge their way in through a bunch of armed guards, no. It physically isn't possible. A barrier using some of the strongest magic and power in hell keeps them out so they are stuck in the pride ring. Keeps them here for the yearly exterminations."
Exterminations? That word started to click with the Slayer as he remembered seeing that clock. That huge ass clock that said something about days until cleanse. That must be what is was counting down too. The Slayer remembered it was around the fifty's and he had been here for some time now. Whatever that consisted of, it had to be coming soon. He focused back on what Lucifer was saying, as Lucifer started speaking again.
"And like I said before, you are in no way of hellborn status. So, are you ready to talk now and explain how in the mother FUCK you got through?" Lucifer asked.
The Slayer had a feeling that was coming. While the Slayer had used his voice more in the last month than he had in many years, he still wasn't going to just talk to everybody. It was mainly going to be an honor or rare occurrence to witness him speaking. And this Lucifer was getting on his nerves, so he would not use his voice to speak to him. He didn't care if Lucifer could have had some answers he needed to get out of this hell, he was getting pissed off.
Lucifer was too as he let out a sigh and an annoyed laugh to go with it. "How do you just go every day without saying something? Doesn't that drive you crazy? Drive you insane? I mean it's not even like you try to communicate with a head nod or hand signals or try writing your words down on paper or typing them down. You just fucking stand there like a god damn statue."
For the Slayer, you could argue that his insanity has driven him to the point of not speaking. After fighting the countless hordes of hell over and over and over again, he had already lost his entire mind beyond repair and it took a lot for him to gain it back. At least where he could control it. The Slayer losing his mind again is what many fear back in his realm because the Slayer tends to leave a lot of carnage and destruction wherever he goes, if his rage goes unchecked, he could devastate entire worlds. And these demons are fortunate for that. If he wound up in this hell being as crazy as he once was, he probably would have tried to kill them all.
"Well. If you had something really important to share that could save the entire universe, we'd be pretty fucking screwed now wouldn't we?" Lucifer said in frustration. "Alright well, my hopes of getting answers are still completely fucked so thank you for that. So for now, I'll leave you with this." He said as he approached the Slayer. "Do not step foot near or on the elevator anymore. Do not even step foot in another ring, you do not belong there, you should not be allowed there and I do not want to hear that you did. So take this as your one free pass as I know you're educated on the rules here now. If you continue to break them, I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU."
Lucifer was but a few feet from the Slayer and looked quite angry and pretty scary looking as he used his power to change up his appearance into more of a true demon form. But, the Slayer was not scared. He closed the distance between them and took two slow and loud steps right in front of Lucifer and stared down at him. Even with him being a lot weaker than he normally is, he still won't back down from any opponent. And to show Lucifer he meant business, his doomblade shot out from its holster which caught Lucifer's eye as he looked at it. He noticed it was incredibly sharp and quite long.
Lucifer still didn't know how to handle this human. He truly was completely fearless. He was facing the literal king of the underworld and he showed him that he was ready to fight. "Hmph. Fearless. Like they all said. Remember what I said and take it to heart. As I said, this is your one free pass." He said to the Slayer before vanishing outta thin air.
The Slayer was left on his own again. Lucifer seemed completely gone this time so he retracted his blade. He didn't much of a shit to what Lucifer had to say to him. He didn't care what title he held, he would do what he wanted to do. If Lucifer really meant what he said about slaughtering the Slayer if he used the elevator again, the Slayer would welcome that opportunity with open arms. He felt like Lucifer was secretly not looking for a fight as it felt like the Slayer knocked him down a few levels when he got in his face. But it wasn't something the Slayer would worry much about as he knew he could take whatever Lucifer could throw at him.
The Slayer would continue his typical actions in the pride ring and that was just simply walking. Nothing too exciting for him as he had started to become even sicker of this place. He was so tired of it all and wanted to find a way back, back to his fortress where he could be on his own. He felt like he didn't have much of a purpose right now as this realm didn't need some god protector to save it from immediate destruction. His fight was to kill all the demons in his hell and he had practically done that. He had fulfilled his purpose.
He got out of these thoughts of his as there was a group of demons ahead that would end up blocking his path once he got close enough. From the looks of it, it looked like some type of conflict, some type of altercation. As he got closer, he saw that this group consisted of three male demons and one female demon, and the female looked uncomfortable in this situation. The banter turned into physicality as one of them started to grab the female. The female did fight him off as she delivered a solid punch to his jaw. The Slayer was rather close now, he decided that he might as well intervene. He was aware that there were some pieces of shit down here and some that didn't seem so bad to be in a place like hell.
Twenty Minutes Ago at the Hazbin Hotel
It was once again a brand new day down in hell. Charlie was already up and about in the hotel as she had a good feeling inside her today. A good feeling of determination. And she was going to need that feeling as she was going to try and attempt to finally get some other demons for the hotel. Time for some of these demons was running out as the next extermination was less than two weeks away. She would use that as a type of bargaining tool.
For today's attempt at getting new residents, she would do it on her own. The last time she did it with Angel it did not go well. Angel didn't know how to accept negativity and Vaggie...well she had a problem with that too. And bringing along Alastor maybe isn't the best idea either with him being quite feared. It wouldn't work to scare someone into joining the hotel. That's why she would take it solo this time, see how it goes. Before she left, she opened a drawer near the check-in table and pulled out a stack of handmade fliers. And by handmade, they were actually handmade. They were nothing crazy, just a few drawn pictures illustrating Charlie's plan. Cause what good presentation doesn't have some type of visual aid.
After she acquired her fliers, she was all set to embark on this amazing recruitment quest.
And, as expected, it didn't take long for her to find any other demons. She spotted a small group of demons standing in front of a building. They were not the worse-looking demons hell had to offer so that was some kind of a starting point.
"Well hello there, do you all have a chance to talk?" Charlie said as she greeted them. At first, she didn't get a hello back or any kind of reply. But she did see on of the demons raise a finger and point it at her.
"Ain't you the princess?" He asked.
"Yes, yes I am," Charlie responded.
"Hmph. Okay shoot," the man said. Charlie figured he asked to see if she was worth their time.
"Alright. So first off I'm Charlie, what are your names?" Charlie asked.
"Ralph."
"Monnoco."
"Dez."
"Nice to meet you all. As I said, I am Charlie and I was hoping I could interest all three of you in an amazing and brand new opportunity down here in hell," Charlie said as she handed each one of them a flier.
"Weren't you on the news a while back?" Dez asked as he looked at the flier.
"Y-Yes I was," Charlie responded. She didn't like to think of that day too much. "But that tells me you have seen it so you must have seen me give my presentation on the hotel right?"
"Not really. I don't fucking remember anything that was said in that broadcast. I just remember you and Katie Killjoy went at it," Dez said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Oh. Well, then I can explain it again. As you can see on the flier in front of you, the great hotel that I am running will give you the treatment and process you need to cleanse your soul and allow you to rise above the world of hell," Charlie began.
"Hold on, yer actually serious?" Dez asked.
"I am. This is not any type of lie or any type of prank. The hotel is the real deal. Since we are drawing close to another extermination in hell, it would be a great opportunity for each and every one of you," Charlie explained.
"A great opportunity by staying in some hotel?" Ralph asked as he didn't think hotels were that amazing.
"It's different from any other. The Hap- I mean Hazbin Hotel is a safe place for all who stay there. You are provided with safety, food, and a room all to yourself while you embark on the path to pure redemption," Charlie said with a happy tone as she felt like she had a fish on the line.
"Bet it's real fuckin expensive," Ralph muttered.
"Nope, you do not have to pay anything to stay," Charlie said.
"Fucking what? You don't gotta pay? That seems like a dumb fucking idea cause how the fuck you gonna make any money?" Monnoco asked as he knew people in hell were usually stingy when it came to money.
"You fucking idiot," Deza said as he smacked his friend on the head, "She's the fucking princess, she don't need anymore money." That part was pretty much true. The Morningstar family was very loaded on cash. I'm sure you can figure out why.
"That seems like some type of scam. Shit like that ain't typically free," Ralph said.
"I promise you it is not a scam. As long as you make progress towards redeeming yourself, that will be even better than money," Charlie said trying to sweeten the deal.
"Redeeming ourselves? The fuck does that suppose to mean?" Dez asked.
"Redeeming yourself of all sin. The goal of my hotel is to grant sinners passage into heaven as a less violent way to deal with overpopulation,"
"Fuck that!" Ralph said as he began to make himself laugh. Typically mainly people laughed in Charlie's face once she explained her idea.
"A demon getting into heaven? Is that even possible?" Monnoco asked. While he wasn't buying into this whole stop sinning deal, he was interested to see if it was possible.
"Um. I don't really know for sure. But you never know until you try," Charlie said in a nervous tone and with a nervous chuckle.
"I doubt it even is. Most people are fucking assholes. I doubt heaven would even let them just come on in," Dez said.
"Seems like a worthless scheme ay princess?" Ralph said he walked closer. He then was moving his eyesight all over as he began to eye Charlie's figure, "You ain't too bad looking princess."
"T-Thanks?" Charlie said with a bit of a confused tone. That was out of the blue and completely off-topic.
"Would you consider yourself a snitch?" He asked.
"A what?" Charlie asked. She heard what he said but was confused to be asked that.
"A snitch, a tattletale, someone who rats another person out," he said explaining it in better detail.
"No? No one has ever called me that or considered that to be a personality trait of mine," Charlie responded. She wanted to know where he was going with this.
"Dude, I got a feeling what your thinking and I don't know if that's the greatest idea," Monnoco said as he attempted to reason with Ralph.
"Why's that?" Ralph asked with an annoyed tone.
"Because she's the fucking daughter of Lucifer man. He...He knows shit," Dez said as he then looked back and forth to see if there was some possibility that Lucifer was lurking in the shadows.
"Yeah and he probably knew about her little brawl with Katie Killjoy on the news. But that stuck-up bitch is still alive ain't she? Don't think he really cares that much about the shit that happens to her," Ralph responded.
Ouch. That one caught Charlie in the feels alright. She started to become uneasy as this looked like a bad situation. This man complimenting her looks, asking if she would rat him out, and mentioning the fact that her dad didn't pay attention to who tried to fuck with her started to draw big red flags.
"See, she didn't say otherwise, so the fact I said that probably means it's TRUE!" Ralph yelled as he smacked the fliers out of her hands to distract her before going behind her and grabbing her.
"H-HEY LET ME GO!" Charlie exclaimed as she tried to wrestle him off.
"Cmon you fuckers, help me grab her!" He exclaimed, asking for backup. But unfortunately for him, his friends still didn't like this.
As Charlie tried as hard as she could, she couldn't break free. This demon was definitely physically stronger than her and could control her how he pleased. So she needed a bit of help from her demonic strength. Her demon horns started to form out of her head as she started to slip out enough to where she could move her right arm around to deliver a punch right to the demon's jaw. The punch made the demon let go as he backed away a few steps. That wasn't Charlie's usual style to go about things and she didn't typically punch many people. But desperate times call for desperate measures. She then noticed that the demon had recovered from that punch and was ready to go back on the attack. Although her attention started to go upwards as she saw something massive coming up behind him.
"Heh. Oh, yer going to regret that you bitch," He said as he cocked up his arm to deliver a punch but noticed his arm wasn't moving. For some reason, he thought moving his arm again would free it, but it didn't. He noticed his friends were slowly backing away with their arms in the air. so he was prepared for the worst of who was behind him. He turned to his right to see that his forearm was completely engulfed in the Slayer's hand. He turned his head as far as he could to see the Slayer's Angry stare. His face was now full of fear. "G-Guys?" He said to see if he would get any backup, but no. They were already high tailing it down the street. He then let out a small yell in pain as his arm was being squeezed very hard and he felt his feet leaving the ground as the Slayer literally picked him up by his arm. He was trying to open the Slayer's hand so he could free his arm, but he still wasn't strong enough to get free. The Slayer held him up so he could see his face. The demon was petrified as the Slayer's head slowly tilted as he looked at the demon. He didn't have any beef with this demon, but he could tell who was a piece of shit and these demons were clearly ganging up against this female demon. Being the person he is, he decided to step in.
Charlie watched as this human bestowed tons of fear into this demon's heart. She figured he would slaughter him right then and there. But he actually didn't. She watched as he tossed the demon behind him like a rag-doll to get him to scram. Which the demon did as he ran away limping. Charlie looked right back at the Slayer as he then looked at her for a brief moment. Charlie felt shy at that moment as she didn't know what to say, but she didn't have much time anyways as the Slayer walked right past her acting like that didn't even happen.
Charlie felt like she should talk to him, or at least introduce herself. If this man was going to be a regular person in hell, she may as well get to know him. Maybe her thoughts about him were right. Maybe everyone is going about him the wrong way. There was really only one way for her to find out. She had to take this golden opportunity as she didn't know how easy it would be to find him again as he seems to be a wanderer around hell. She picked up the rest of the fliers and rushed after him.
