Yes, this is an Among Us themed chapter. Shush, it's a good game. If you don't know what Among Us is, I highly highly recommend you watch some videos on it, just to get a sense of the game. But you probably haven't been living under a rock this past year, so you've probably at least heard of it, if not played it.

Chapter 60
An Imposter Took Our Lives Away
Ruby stretched herself out on the checkered carpeted floor in the main room of Fazbear's Fright, yawning. She was just mindlessly scrolling through the app store, while she lay on the floor lazily, not really doing much.
(when I say main room, I mean that there's kind of a back room in the building that's pretty big, that has a couch and some tables. There's a main front room which has the front desk and computer and stuff, but that's more in sight so they don't usually hang out there.)
Everyone living there was in the main room with her. The Fazbear Five (she'd been referring to her five original friends as that for a while, partly because it was easy and partly because she liked the name) were playing their usual game of cards, Cassidy and Springtrap sat on opposite sides of the room reading, and Mari was playing with little animal figurines with Jojo and Malcolm. All in all, a pretty regular night.
Until, of course, Ruby had to scroll past a certain app she'd heard being talked about for quite some time. No, not apps with weird advertisements like Rose's Garden or Lawnscapes. A multiplayer murder mystery game.
Wait...she had her tablet in her bag. Her phone in her hand. Freddy had told her they bought three cheap tablets, plus they had a computer...
Ruby sat up straight, an idea coming to her.
"Hey guys...I have an idea of something we could do," She said slowly.
Chica looked up, looking slightly annoyed.
"Is it to cancel Foxy? 'Cause he's totally cheating at Go Fish."
Foxy's mouth dropped open. "I am not! How dare you accuse me of such tyranny!"
Ruby rolled her eyes. "No, though we should cancel Foxy. What I wanted to ask was...have you guys ever heard of the game called Among Us?"
Everyone in the room collectively groaned, slumping down or face-palming or collapsing onto the table.
"Rubyyyyyy...That game's a giant meme now." Bonnie complained, his face buried in his arms.
Mangle nodded. "Sorry, darling, but I have to agree. You're a bit late to the trend." She shrugged, kicking her legs plus boots up onto the table. Rather unsanitary, Ruby thought, but she didn't really care considering nobody ate at that table.
Ruby slumped. She was really looking forward to that. "Come on guys, I get that it's kind of a meme now, but it's still a pretty dang good game! We could at least try it for one round, and see how we feel."
Freddy shrugged, digging his fingernail into a hole in the clear plastic tablecloth. "I think it's a good idea, what about the rest of you?"
"I'm fine with it," Chica said with a toss of her short yellow-blonde curls.
Foxy and Mangle both put their thumbs up as a silent 'yes'. Mari, Springtrap, and Cassidy all nodded their agreement, and Mal and Jojo were always happy to be allowed to play video games. The only one who hadn't said anything was Bonnie. Everyone turned to stare at him.
Bonnie rolled his green eyes, seeing no point in arguing when it was almost unanimous. "Okay, okay, whatever."
Ruby cheered. "Yay!" Her epic persuasion skills had worked! Now all they had to do was figure out how exactly they were going to go about this.
Freddy clapped his hands for attention like a school teacher. "Okay. So in total we have…" He added up devices and people in his head. "Six devices, and eleven people. So, that means all but one person will have to share in some way. I guess we should pick a partner, and someone can have their own."
"I want my own!" Cassidy and Springtrap both said at the exact same time, raising their hands in the air. They both shot glares at each other.
Freddy tread carefully, as if he was walking in a field of dynamite. At any second, he could accidentally pick a side and be murdered by the other.
"How about you play Rock, Paper, Scissors?" Freddy suggested as calmly as he could muster.
"Fine." Cassidy huffed, taking her stance. She put out her fist. Springtrap put out his. And they began to do the most epic, complex, and grueling battle moves ever.
Shaking their fists.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors- hey! I thought we were going on Shoot!" Springtrap complained.
Cassidy rolled her eyes. "Whatever, after Shoot. Okay. Rock, Paper, Scissors...Shoot!"
Cassidy figured that Springtrap would be the kind of guy to assume she'd put Scissors, which she usually chose. So she guessed he'd pick Rock, so she put Paper! Haha! That would surely get him. Her hand was out flat. She turned to Springtrap and…
He had his index and middle finger out in a sort of peace sign. Scissors!
"WHAT?! SCISSORS?!" Cassidy shrieked. "WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO SCISSORS? That's literally the worst one!"
Springtrap smirked. "Exactly. I knew you would think I'd think you'd think to pick scissors, so then you would pick paper, because you thought I'd pick rock, but actually I picked scissors! So then you picked-"
"Okay, okay, no need to go all Death Note on us." Freddy chided, holding his hands up. "So Cassidy, you'll partner up with someone for the game."
Freddy was secretly glad Springtrap had won, though he didn't say that aloud in fear of being mauled by a certain fourteen-year-old. He doubted anyone would want to partner with Springtrap, whereas Cassidy could at least partner with Mari. Those two seemed pretty close.
The group of eleven separated into pairs. Freddy and Bonnie, Foxy and Mangle, Chica and Ruby, Jojo and Malcolm, Cassidy and Mari, and Springtrap all by himself in the lonely corner of the room up against the wall.
Ruby and Chica huddled together on the table, setting up a game. They picked the username 'featherbrain' because of Chica's chicken-ness. They chose the red crewmate skin and put a fried egg on their head. For the game settings, they picked the map The Skeld and did a one-imposter game, considering that there were technically only six players. Perfect.
"Okay, the code is WGYJSS." Ruby informed the others. They nodded and began to join the game. One by one, people poured in.
There was turquoise Fredbred (Freddy and Bonnie), pink spiderfox (Foxy and Mangle), purple purpleguy (Springtrap, duh), yellow Marigold (Mari and Cassidy), and finally, dark blue Crewmate (Jojo and Malcolm, they probably couldn't figure out how to set their name.)
"Okay, is everyone ready?" Ruby asked, fingers poised above her tablet.
"Yep!" Everyone told her, ready to start playing. Ruby pressed the 'Start Game' button and…
2Lisa and heyyyjoshuaaa have joined your game. The chat told them as two players, the first being a white one with a flower on its head and the other being black with a sunflower-golden crown and a yellow tracksuit.
"Who's this?" Cassidy asked, her brow creasing. Ruby grinned and quickly typed 'hello!' into the chat.
"Oh, I texted Tulisa and Josh the code. But this is good! Now we have enough for a two-imposter game!"
"I still can't believe we're playing Among Us, of all games," Bonnie grumbled, running circles around the sage green shipping boxes in the lobby, as the characters on-screen hurtled through space.
Ruby rolled her eyes, switching the setting to a two-imposter game and pressing start. "Get over it, Bonnibell. Okay, remember not to say your roles!"
The timer ticked down and their screens faded to black as the game begun.
Ruby, who was taking control over the character for this round, felt a wave of disappointment as the screen took on a turquoise hue and the words above their group of characters displayed 'Crewmate'. But whatever, she would do her tasks and be the best crewmate there ever was!
She spawned in on the left side of the cobalt-blue cafeteria table in the tan-tiled main room, and immediately checked the sidebar with her tasks on it. Fairly easy ones this time. Fixing wires, navigating the course, and- ooh! Yes!
"Guys, I have a Medbay scan! Follow me!" Ruby yelled, running straight and down to the Medical Room. The others switched directions and followed her down, the room getting more and more crowded. Unfortunately Tulisa and Josh couldn't hear them, so they were stuck with figuring it out on their own.
Ruby stepped onto the platform and clicked 'scan'. Immediately, a green light appeared and the others, after checking that she was safe, left to go do their own tasks. Either that, or murder their crewmates.
Ruby decided her first move would be to head down to electrical, because that was where her first wire fixing was. She ran through the hallways, noticing that the cameras were on. Hmm. As she ran past the Upper Engine, she noticed Jojo and Malcolm's dark blue character running into a wall. She stifled a laugh, now realizing how little experience the two children had. Poor kids...they didn't stand a chance.
She passed the Security room, and saw Foxy and Mangle were the ones who were checking the cameras. The pink character waited intently.
Ruby ran down, past the lower engine, through the hallway, and finally into the Electrical room, where Bonnie and Freddy (Freddy was the one controlling it) were.
"Oh, hey!" Ruby said, running up to the cyan blob-like character. Freddy smiled and poked a couple times at the buttons.
"Hey, Ruby! I'm just fixing wires." He said.
Ruby laughed. "I'm here for the same reason. I'll wait behind you."
"To stab us in the back," Bonnie murmured, watching intently from over Freddy's shoulder. Freddy rolled his eyes and nudged him affectionately.
Suddenly, Ruby heard a slamming noise from behind her, one much different than the usual hissing and whirring sound of the pipes and wires she'd grown accustomed to. She spun around and slowly, carefully walked down.
"Oh, shoot! The doors are locked!" Ruby cursed, smashing into them repeatedly as if she could somehow smash through the arctic blue unbreakable barriers.
Freddy, who'd finished his tasks, ran down to them. He noticed the doors and frowned. "Crap, you're right." He noted.
The two flailed around down there for a few more seconds, unsure on what to do, until a short tune played and a message appeared on-screen 'Body Reported.'
Their tablet with information popped up, saying that Springtrap had discovered Foxy's body, and Ruby typed in chat 'where'.
"It was in the security room, by the cams." Springtrap told her. Ruby stared at him for a few seconds, until it seemed he wasn't taking the hint and she waved an arm feverently.
"Type it in chat, you idiot! Tulisa and Josh can't hear you." Ruby snapped, rolling her dark hazel eyes.
Springtrap slowly began to type. "Fine. Sheesh." He huffed behind Ruby's back. He frowned, realizing now that his large furry metal fingers were incapable of typing on such a tiny tablet screen.
A new message came up in chat.
purpleguy: srvytu
Cassidy smirked.
"Wise words, bunny-boy."
Springtrap whipped around. "You shut your mouth, or I'm going to-"
"Going to what? Hm?" Cassidy batted her eyelashes, resting her chin on her hands. Springtrap closed his mouth, now realizing how that sounded when they were playing a murder mystery game.
"Sounds a little sus, don't ya think, Mar?" Cassidy taunted, turning to her friend who sat beside her.
The younger sighed. "C'mon, Cass, let's at least rule out other options. Who was last seen by the security room?"
Jojo raised her hand timidly. Mari smiled and pointed to her.
"Yes, Joey?"
"Well, we might've seen Ruby walk down there. We were in the Upper Engine." Jojo explained in a quiet voice.
Freddy shook his head. "No, it can't be Ruby and Chi. We were both trapped in the Electrical room. The doors shut on us."
Cassidy narrowed her inky black eyes. "Or maybe you're just defending her because you two are the imposters!"
"Sounds like something an imposter would say," Bonnie fired back, jabbing his index finger in her direction.
Accusations flew around the room. Foxy and Mangle sat back, enjoying the chaos. Tulisa and Josh sat in the chat room, unsure of what to do since literally nobody was talking to them.
The timer ticked down. Ruby rolled her eyes and stood up, slamming her palms onto the table for a moment of peace. Everyone's eyes turned in her direction.
"Okay, okay! Let's just skip the vote, and we'll try another round." Ruby attempted to calm everyone down.
It sort of worked. Freddy, Jojo, Tulisa, Josh, and her all skipped their votes. Springtrap voted for Ruby, and Cassidy voted for Springtrap.
"Wha- Cassie, why me?! I didn't even do anything!" Springtrap cried in outrage.
"Because I can. Also, you might have self-reported. Who knows?" She said airily.
Springtrap growled, his hands clasping into fists. "I did not! Jeez, where's the trust?!"
"It died a long time ago, along with my body and my happiness," Cassidy replied, a twinge of salt added to her tone of voice.
"GUYS! The round has started!" Ruby yelled from over Chica's shoulder, who had control of the character.
Springtrap sat down, muttering, "Edgelord."
"Wattpad angsty mafia boss bad boy PG love interest." Cassidy hissed back.
Bonnie laughed as he ran past the Oxygen room. "How is that an insult?"
"Trust me, you haven't read one of those yet," Mangle assured her friend from the couch where she and Foxy were, looking slightly traumatized.
Ruby watched as Chica headed over to Admin, where she had to swipe her card. Suddenly, a loud alarm blared and the lights flashed scarlet. Chica squealed and jumped back, dropping the tablet. Ruby cackled at her friend's reaction.
"Get jumpscared!" She wheezed, ruffling Chica's blonde curls affectionately. Chica rolled her eyes, crossing her arms, then picking the tablet back up.
"Shut up, stupid octopus."
"Chica! Ruby! Stop flirting and get your lazy butts over to the Reactor meltdown!" Bonnie yelled.
Ruby sighed, shaking her head in a disappointed manner while Chica's face flushed red. The smaller girl busied herself with running slowly to Reactor.
"Come on, Bonnie, we're wearing socks. Besides, aren't you allowed to flirt with the homies? Sheesh. Hoot." Ruby huffed, clearly quite calm about the whole situation.
Bonnie raised his eyebrows. "Chica's only wearing one sock," He pointed out.
Chica made a mental note to dismember him later.
Over to Mari, she was wandering around aimlessly with Cassidy watching like a hawk. They made their way over to Navigation to set the course for the ship. Unbeknownst to them, an evil figure waited like a vulture in the shadows…
Jojo wandered down the hallways, blissfully unaware of how to play the game. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of walking into Navigation, and was met with the horrifying sight of what was the Among Us equivalent of a yellow chicken drumstick.
She ran over, smashing the phone screen with her small hand until finally, she accidentally hit the report button.
They were launched into a meeting immediately, everyone crowded around the table in the middle of the cafeteria.

heyyyjoshuaaa: the only person I have to talk to is lisa and I am suffering.
2Lisa: that's tulisa-ist TwT

Everyone ignored them.
"Who died? And who found it?" Springtrap asked, checking the logs. He gasped when he saw on the main screen that Mari - and Cassidy! - had perished. Springtrap did a little fist-pump.
"Yessss."
Ruby raised her eyebrows. "Huh? Springtrap, why are you so happy they died?"
Springtrap paused mid-fist-pump, silver eyes darting from side to side. "Um. Because Cassie sucks?"
Cassidy's drumstick-like corpse frowned from the grave. "I do not!"
"You two were fighting before...I don't know." Ruby mused, putting a finger to her chin. Chica and Ruby exchanged glances, then Chica typed in chat:

2Lisa: OwO UwO QwQ ;w;
heyyyjoshuaaa: I'm telling Mom that you're bullying meeeee
"Huh? Why is everyone voting for me?!" Springtrap whined. "I didn't even do anything! We fight all the time, that doesn't change whether we play one of these new-fangled video games or not!"
"Shut up, old man." Cassidy told him, sticking her tongue out.
The votes rolled in. The user purpleguy came in with 4 votes, featherbrain had 1 vote, and one user didn't vote, probably Jojo and Malcolm.
A cutscene of a purple figure being ejected from the spaceship into the dark void showed. Springtrap groaned, throwing his tablet to the floor in frustration as the message came on screen:
purpleguy was not the Imposter. 2 remaining.
Ruby blinked. "Oh. Guess I messed up."
"You think?! Now all those pillagers have to do is kill one of our chums and they w- " A hand was slapped across Foxy's mouth, Mangle shooting a warning glance around the room. Foxy mouthed an 'oh', realizing he'd just given that detail away to two possible imposters.
Ruby, who had control, made a break for the Emergency Meeting button, which unfortunately had a cooldown timer of ten seconds. Ruby tapped on the screen faster than any living thing had ever tapped before. A bead of sweat dripped down her forehead. Come on, come on! The imposter could be any of them! Tulisa, Josh, Freddy, Jojo who was heading straight for her with a knife-
Wait, what?!
Before she could even comprehend what was happening, she was dead and the Game Over screen showed, with Fredbread and Crewmate coming out as the winners.
Freddy cheered, slapping hands with Bonnie. Jojo and Malcolm ran over to them, Freddy giving the two children fist-bumps. Malcolm added booming sound effects to their epic fist-bumps, with Jojo running around cheering joyfully.
Ruby just stared at her screen dumbfounded.
"Wha- I- how?! How did the two toddlers manage to even do that?!"
Jojo and Malcolm exchanged glances.
"I don't even know. Jojo did everything for me," Malcolm confessed. Jojo beamed.
"It was pretty easy. All I had to do was arise suspicion, play dumb, then use your past trauma and grudges against you to manipulate and control you all into suspecting each other and voting each other out." She explained, swinging her arms with an innocent expression on her face.
Everyone stared at her.
"What? I saw it online!" She pouted crossly.
"That's enough internet for today, missy." Mari told her in a stern voice, sweeping her up into her arms.
"Agreed." Freddy laughed.
