"Okay. I'll go get Charlie. You wait out here," Vaggie said before opening the door to their room.

"But of course," Pentious said as he tightened his tie.

"Does yer appearance really fuckin' matter right now?" Angel asked.

"You know...you could easily go about your day or whatever else you should be doing right now," Pentious said as his momentarily good mood went sour again with that remake from Angel.

"Yer right! I could be sleeping right now but I would like to see if she actually rejects you," Angel responded. "Although if I know Charlie, she'll probably welcome him with open arms." This was a thought he said to himself.

"Like I mentioned before. If she allowed YOU of all demonsss to stay here. I do not know how she wouldn't allow a classy demon such as myself to momentarily take shelter here for the time being. This is a big place after all, and judging by the very few who are here, I doubt it will be an issue," Pentious added.

Inside of the room, Vaggie walked softly over to the bed to wake up Charlie. She walked up next to her and put a hand on her shoulder and started to lightly shake her to wake her up.

"Charlie...Charlie...wake up," Vaggie said in a voice just a little above a whisper.

"No...no...just five more minutes," Charlie barely responded.

"There's someone here...someone that wants to stay at the hotel," Vaggie said, although she was hesitant to say that last part.

"Oh? Someone wants to join the hotel? That's nice," Charlie responded again. Due to her tired state, she didn't quite process what was said to her and what she said out loud. After a few seconds, her brain started working and she shot up from the bed. "WAIT WHAT?"

"You heard right," Vaggie said.

"Oh wow! Okay, let me get somewhat presentable," Charlie said as he got out of bed.

"No, hon, I don't think it's that big of a deal. Especially with how late it is," Vaggie responded.

"I've come to learn that first impressions are always important. Sometimes, that tends to be what someone remembers the most," Charlie said as she was throwing on some of her regular outfit.

"Well. I guess I can't argue with that," Vaggie said as she was thinking of some of their previous failures. "But this demon is someone that I don't know if we can trust. Especially since he blew the doors off the front of the hotel."

"Blew the doors off? Is that like a metaphor for something?" Charlie asked as she was confused. Most likely due to the fact she was still tired and the gears in her brain were not turning normally.

"It's Sir Pentious. Remember him? That snake demon that came in that big...well whatever flying thing that was. He tried to kill Alastor until he did some crazy magical shit?" Vaggie said hoping what she was saying was ringing a bell.

"Oh right. I do remember that now," Charlie said as he started to think. "Well, if he is here now, he must be sorry and wants to change." She added as she was almost done getting ready.

"I wouldn't quite put it like that," Vaggie said somewhat to herself. "He's currently waiting outside the room right now."

"Perfect!" Charlie said as she was done. She walked towards the door and opened it to see Sir Pentious and Angel standing out there. "Hi. You are Sir Pentious right?"

"Indeed I am. You must be Charlie," Pentious responded.

"That would be me. I am told you were interested in joining the hotel?" Charlie asked making sure she heard right.

"In a sense. I know the last time I was here I caused a bit of damage to the hotel's exterior. That was a bit unfortunate as it was just caught in the crossfire of a battle," Pentious said.

"A one-sided battle," Angel said softly and he was not wrong as Alastor easily demolished Pentious's ship with just a few flicks of the wrist.

"Sure, whatever you ssssay. Anyways, I will say that there will not be another event like that while I am here," Pentious said. Although he wasn't being completely honest as something like that could happen again. But to make himself more..."profitable" in his eyes, he would bullshit for now.

"Well, that is great to hear! It is really nice to see that you are willing to try and push forward from your old ways towards the path of becoming a better person!" Charlie said as that is what she got from Pentious.

"Yesssss. O-Of course," Pentious said as he was just trying to make Charlie happy at the moment.

"Well great. I think we should set you up with a room. Follow me down to reception," Charlie said as she started to lead them downstairs.

"Great," Vaggie said to herself as she didn't want Pentious to be allowed in.

"Sorry to burst your bubble," Pentious said to Angel.

"So you did. Well, I'm going the fuck to sleep as I don't have any more reason to follow yer ass around. See ya whores," Angel said with a little salute as he went his own way to his room.

"Good night Angel," Charlie said being courteous. That just left Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious going down to the lobby by themselves. After traversing down some stairs, they eventually got to the main lobby. "Alright, we are here. You pretty much have a very large selection of rooms to pick from as there is only us few staying here at the moment."

"I see," Pentious responded.

"So. Do you have any preference on the room?" Charlie asked. Although the majority of the rooms were pretty much the same. The only reason some of the other rooms look different is because demons decorate them.

"Something on the first floor would suffice," Pentious said as he didn't feel like being too picky.

"Okay," Charlie said as she started to look through the keys. "Here. You can take this room. " She said as she handed him the key that read 112 meaning it was the 12th room on the first floor.

"That is quite fine," Pentious said as he took the key. He then stopped himself due to the fact there were several hallways on the first floor that led to sections of rooms. "Oh um. Where exactly is this one at?"

"Oh! Right. To find that room you will go down that hallway down there then you go left and that should eventually lead you there," Charlie answered while trying to give visual instructions.

"Ah yes. Well, I'm sure I could find my way there," Pentious said.

"Great. Well, we'll let you get settled in and see you in the morning," Charlie said as she grasped her hands together.

"Yes...I will see you in the morning," Pentious said as he slithered away.

Charlie gave Vaggie an excited look. "I think our plan is starting to work. I have a feeling more and more demons will want to stay here."

"Possibly. But I'm just worried that they will abuse it by just trying to stay here for free and nothing else," Vaggie responded.

"That is a possibility but I believe that those that truly want it will work towards the goal of redemption," Charlie said.

"Yeah. I suppose so," Vaggie said.

"So. While that is taken care of I say that it would be a great idea if we went back to sleep," Charlie said as she could only hide her tired face for so long.

"That sounds like a perfect idea hun," Vaggie agreed.

Hazbin Hotel, The Next Morning

It was another morning inside the Hazbin Hotel. This morning was a little different due to the fact the hotel had earned itself another member. It may not have been taking the exact strides it was hoping for but it was at least a start. So far, most of the members of the hotel were down in the lobby. As of now, it consisted of Charlie, Husk, Niffty, Vaggie, Alastor, and Keekee, who had no problem lying down on one of the couches. They were all fueled up after just eating breakfast. There was one person who was somewhat out and about this morning but not quite down in the lobby and that was the Slayer himself. He was simply standing near the railing next to the stairs with his arms crossed and was looking onward into the lobby. He wasn't eyeing anything in particular, it was more of him just thinking to himself. However, after Husk saw the Slayer standing up there, he did finally want to break this question out to the others. He walked over to where Niffty and Vaggie were sitting and ended up leaning against the wall next to them.

"Okay, so typically I wouldn't give two fucks to say this, but I am really fucking confused at this point," Husk said.

"Confused about what?" Niffty asked.

"Well, the fucking...Slayer. We've brought this up before but I just don't think I've still ever seen him eat or drink anything. Every time there is food out here he never eats anything. Isn't that fucking weird to you?" Husk responded.

"I won't lie that I have had that thought before. I have kind of wondered the same thing too about why he won't eat," Vaggie said.

"Maybe he won't until he's given permission or if we offer him some?" Niffty said bringing up a possible answer.

"I mean I don't think that's an impossible suggestion. I just don't think someone would go this long without it. Even though it is quite clear that he has special powers himself, you'd still think he'd want to have something," Vaggie added.

"I don't fucking remember if he is some god or just some super soldier but I just find it fucking strange," Husk responded.

"Should we try offering him some?" Niffty suggested.

"I doubt he'd actually accept it," Vaggie said as she looked up at the stairs to see the Slayer standing all serious like up there.

"Probably fucking not. It probably would still be best to just leave it alone," Husk added.

"But don't you both think we shouldn't for once?" Niffty responded. "And I'm not just talking about the eating or drinking part, but maybe we should try to include him more or talk to him more than we have lately?"

"I just don't know what difference it would make. He just doesn't like to be around anyone," Vaggie said.

"But shouldn't we all try to change that? I mean he's always so angry all the time, maybe it's a cry for help. Maybe we could help him be more happy if we could allow him to have more fun?" Niffty suggested this time. "I mean look at Husk. He was always so grumpy and look at how he is now!" She said as he pointed to Husk.

"Don't fucking take the fact that I talk to all of you more as signs that I'm any different," Husk said as he still was convinced he was the small old grumpy and lazy cat that he'd always been.

"You can always say that but I know you don't hate everyone anymore," Niffty said.

"I'll put it as there are worse demons in Hell I could be around a daily basis," Husk responded.

"Wow. That may be the nicest thing I've ever heard you say," Vaggie said.

"Yeah? And it will probably be the nicest fuckin thing you hear me say," Husk said as he decided to exit the conversation by walking away.

As the Slayer stood at the top of the railing looking onward into the lobby of the hotel, he saw on his HUD that someone was starting a transmission from a familiar voice.

"Hello Slayer. It has been...some time," The Father spoke to him, but due to the fact that it was a transmission directly to the Slayer's praetor suit, only he could hear it as the sound would be coming from his helmet.

The Slayer at this point, was very unsure of how he should think when it comes to the Father. While he was an ally to him during his time as VEGA he didn't know if he could completely trust him. But even with the Slayer being unsure of his trust in The Father, he still provided him with help on his journey to get rid of all of the demons as well as getting rid of the Dark Lord. But now it was a little different as the Slayer finally knew the truth. The Father this whole time was actually not the first being and was created by the Dark Lord. This led the Slayer to think of an alternate reality that could have happened. Because of The Father's betrayal, it led to the creation of Hell and the demons that inhabit it in the first place. If he had not betrayed his own creator and gone forward with his responsibilities, then the demonic invasions would have never happened. And of course, if the demonic invasions never happened, the Slayer wouldn't have gone through all this trauma, all this physical pain that he's experienced over his long existence. His family, friends, and everyone he ever knew, would still be alive. He could have actually lived a normal life. But, of course, things didn't work out quite like that.

What's done is done and the Slayer could not change the past now. Even with that in mind, it wasn't why the Slayer was mistrusting towards The Father. It felt as if he could hardly trust anyone now after what had happened. He was tired of being a pawn that felt like he was being thrown back and forth between interdimensional forces like your average theoretical physicist.

"After your disappearance through the portal, it began to be an interest in where it would take you. And quite the interest it was. You have somehow managed to discover an entirely new realm, an entirely new universe containing it's own beings," The Father said.

This came as an interest to the Slayer as to how The Father found him here and how he got here as well. But, then he started to think that he did use to be VEGA after all so he did have access to the communication rig in his praetor suit.

"I also suppose that this universe does not just contain... its own beings. This dimension contains different realms similar to ours. It possesses an Earth, Hell, and its own form or Urdak," The Father added. He stopped speaking for a moment before going on to his next point. "It has been a topic of discovery to find universes outside of ours. While we are convinced they exist, it was unexpected to find one such as this. This is a discovery larger than you would expect it to be. Each realm contains its own forms of mortals, demons, and gods. These realms could contain unknown power and energy like the discovery of argent in Hell.

The Slayer stopped folding his arms and placed them back down at his side and began to really listen now. To him, he thought that The Father was trying to go somewhere with this and for someone like the Slayer, he was ready to analyze and break down what The Father was going to say.

"I have been in contact with one of the beings that inhabits this realm. He seems to be the ruler of this world. It seems to be that you... have had contact with him as well. At this moment in time, he wishes to go to war against you. He believes that you are here to destroy this realm, to eliminate all those who fall under the form of a demon as he knows your hatred of them," The Father said as he resumed speaking.

The Slayer started to grow a little angry after hearing that. Hearing that The Father, who the Slayer still wasn't sure he could trust, has been in contact with Lucifer. The main person in this realm who hates the Slayer and wants to see him dead. The Slayer also had to believe that since Lucifer was the creator and ruler of this realm, that he had to be the most powerful being inhabiting it as well. He assumed the two of them were conjuring up some type of plan. But for now, he would keep listening.

"I myself...could not give a complete answer. That...was something that pondered my curiosity as well. The hate that you hold for the demons is on a level that I have never seen before. The lengths that you went to see the demons end were indescribable. It made me wonder how far your hate would take you. If...if you'd wish to see the ultimate demise of this realm because it is a different type of Hell with different types of demons," The Father said. He took another long pause before beginning again. "But...I have reason to believe that you have been here for some time now. And due to the fact that you are among some of the beings in this realm and the fact that the realm has not been brought to complete destruction, you will not see to its demise."

While The Father was right on the fact that the Slayer's hate was something that did not blind him from the fact that this version of Hell was astronomically different from the one he'd fought through many times, him being so confident the Slayer would never take action against this realm wasn't a pure fact. Yes...for now the Slayer didn't have a plan to slaughter everyone and reduce the realm to an actual fiery landscape, but that doesn't mean a collection of events could happen that would make him change his mind. Such as the beings of this realm wanted to take him out as some type of intruder to the realm or as an enemy to what they hold dear. If the realm declared war against him, he would have no problem burning it to the ground.

"Although...it is a possibility that the ruler of this realm continues to see you as a threat and as someone who could destroy all his creations. It is possible he will engage in war against you," The Father said.

The Slayer almost felt like rolling his eyes at that as that was something that did not come as a surprise to him whatsoever. All Lucifer has done in the several times the two of them had an encounter is tell him what he could or could not do and threaten to kill him if he defied him. The Slayer would welcome that battle if it came. He figured that Lucifer severely underestimated his power and figured he was just another human to slaughter.

"I will continue to move freely throughout this realm and observe the possibilities it could possess," The Father said and that was the last thing he would say as his name faded away on the Slayer's HUD.

"Oh hey big guy, I don't know if ya know but there's a new fella here as well. I totallllllly don't think you two have met before have ya?" Angel said as he knew exactly of the first time they "met".

"Ah...yes. It is...you," Pentious said to the Slayer in a type of nervous tone.

"You did say you were clearly aware he was here," Angel said with a grin.

"Yes. I did," Pentious responded before taking a breath. "So...wait what was his name again?"

"Well I usually refer to him as Muscles or big guy but I think his apparent title is Doom Slayer," Angel said as he almost forgot that was his title.

"Ah right. So. Doom Slayer. I know we have had our differences in the passsst. But now as you as well as myself are both taking refuge here. I am a big enough man to propose a truce between the two of us. Put our differences aside. If not forever, then for the time being. What do you say?" Pentious said as he held out a hand for the Slayer to shake in a sign of agreement between the two of them.

But, the Slayer was absolutely confused about what the hell Sir Pentious was talking about. The so-called feud that they had between each other was not something the Slayer was even aware of. To him, Pentious was a nobody. Another being in Hell the Slayer either never met before or just didn't care to remember. He simply stared down at Pentious's hand that was being held out to him. He then averted his gaze upwards to look at his face before crossing his arms and moving his gaze back to looking forward into the lobby.

Pentious felt a lot of awkward tension right now as the two of them were just staring at one another with nothing going on. He saw out of the corner of his eye that Angel was giggling softly.

"Oh right. He's not really one for handshakes," Angel said explaining the reason for his giggling. And he also thought that was the reason that he ignored Pentious.

"Well then how am I suppossse to know if he agreed to my terms?" Pentious exclaimed.

"I don't know. He doesn't kill ya?" Angel said with a shrug.

"Well. Isn't that...reassuring," Pentious responded.

"Alright you damn serpent. Follow me," Angel said so they could proceed towards the lobby.

"Yes. Of course," Pentious said. As they both walked past the Slayer, Pentious caught sight of the Slayer's large biceps. He then looked at his arms which were very small compared to his. This honestly made him feel a bit down and self-conscious that he didn't have muscles like the Slayer...or really any muscles at all.

As he and Angel walked...or I suppose in Pentious's case he slithered down the stairs as Angel walked.

"Morning bitches," Angel said giving his typical greeting.

"Hi Angel," Niffty said in response.

"Hold on what the fuck?" Husk said as he saw Sir Pentious for the first time.

"I concur with Husker. Why is this slithery serpent here of all places?" Alastor added. While he did forget Sir Pentious's name, he did remember his face.

"Wait...OH MY, did you two sleep together!?" Niffty said as she thought that was the reason they both came in together.

"WHAT?!" Pentious exclaimed.

Angel let out a short laugh. "Ha! He fuckin' wishes."

"I absolutely do not. No, neither Angel nor myself engaged in any sexual activities. For your information, I am now a guest here," Pentious said like that gave him some sort of rank.

"Really?" Husk said hoping that it wasn't true as he found Sir Pentious annoying.

"YES really!" Pentious said not knowing why that was hard to believe.

"Charlie my dear, is this snake speaking the truth?" Alastor said as he also found it hard to believe.

"It is true. He came to the hotel late last night and wanted to join the hotel so of course, I let him stay," Charlie answered to confirm or deny any questions.

"Well that is something having...hm. You know my mind seems to be drawing a blank, what was your name again?" Alastor asked to Sir Pentious.

"Are you shitting me? After what we had been through? The battle that took place, you ssssstill don't remember my name?" Pentious exclaimed taking offense to that.

"If I were to be quite sincere, I never even took it into account to remember your name in the first place. It wasn't enough of a care to me at the time," Alastor said as he shrugged his shoulders.

Sir Pentious practically gave him a look of shock before uttering another question. "I..uh..I what...ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

"Absolutely. I wouldn't think of this to be a time for practical jokes would you?" Alastor said now trying to play a joke on him.

"I am like one of the most notable and respectable sinners around the pride ring. My complete control over the ring was nearly complete," Pentious responded.

"I'm sure it was," Husk said.

While Pentious was still going back and forth about why he should be so respected in the hotel, a few knocks came from the doors.

"Well while they are...working this out, I'll go see who it is," Charlie said as she went to the doors hoping it was more demons wanting to make a change. She opened the doors to see a group of familiar faces. In a way, she did get one of her wishes to see more demons. But, the demons there were definitely not there wanting to make a change. Nope. The Three V's had returned once again to the hotel as it had been close to a week since they last were here.

"Oh. Well hello again," Charlie said not knowing how she wanted to respond as she knew the reason why they were here and also was a little let down to see them.

"Princess. You don't seem too thrilled to see us," Vox said obviously knowing she wouldn't be.

"I normally am thrilled to see faces at the hotel. But I know why you all are here," Charlie responded.

"Then you ain't as fucking dumb as you look. Where the fuck is Angel? He's been given enough time to make a decision," Valentino said as he was getting right to the point.

"You can come in and speak with him as well as us if you still promise to do it in a civil manner," Charlie said setting some ground rules again.

"For fucks sake. Sure, fucking whatever. Let's just move this shit along," Valentino said already getting impatient.

"Right this way then," Charlie said as she moved out of the way to let them pass.

Everyone saw them immediately and began to stare, especially Angel whose good mood was starting to turn more grey now that they were here.

"Oh wow. Valentino, Vox, and Velvet. It's been some time since we've seen one another face to face," Pentious said with fake enthusiasm being the first one to acknowledge their arrival.

Vox let out an annoyed groan. "Pentious. They really let a serpent like you in here?"

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Pentious asked as he took offense to the way Vox said that.

"Oh, nothing really. I guess the people who run this place do not care about having some annoying inventor thinking he's hot shit," Vox said with a grin.

"HA! Annoying inventor. That just ssssounds like you are jealous that you do not possess the genius intellect of someone such as myself. You don't even compare to someone such as myself," Pentious said as he attempted to take shots back at Vox.

"You are fucking delusional if you truly think you are some kind of fucking genius," Vox said as he started to walk closer to Pentious. "I'm pretty sure there's some one-eyed girl that keeps stopping your little shitty plan of taking over Hell?" He said as now both of the men were face to face with one another. The rest of the demons in the hotel had to give Pentious a little credit. Realistically, he stood no chance against Vox in a physical battle as Vox had a lot more power than he did, but he still wasn't backing down.

Valentino then grabbed Vox's shoulder and gently pulled him away. "Vox, Vox, Vox. Baby. Remember the actual reason we are here. Do you really want to waste your time as well as all of ours by getting into my dick's bigger than your competition with Pentious of all people?"

"Right. That's a fair point," Vox said as he straightened out his suit, even though there was nothing wrong with it. "Okay. Well, let's cut all this chatter here as we know what the main focus is here."

"Absolutely. So, shall we get down to business?" Alastor said as he started to raise his hand.

"NO! No. We don't need a fucking table and some chairs this time. This shit shouldn't take this long," Vox said as he didn't want to go through all the complicated shit.

"Always so impatient aren't we? You just require everything to happen right away don't you?" Alastor said.

"Or maybe I don't feel like wasting everyone's time like you do," Vox replied.

"And here we go again," Velvet said as she was growing impatient of the constant bickering.

"Tell me about it," Valentino said to her as they both were getting annoyed.

Vox overheard them and realized he was doing exactly what he was trying not to do and that was wasting everyone's time. "Right. So," he began as he looked at Angel, "Angel...It's been sometime now. Have you come to a decision about the proposal that was bestowed upon you?"

"I...I have thought about it. But...It's not an...easy choice," Angel said trying to by himself more time to think.

"Is it really that of a decision? After the shit you pulled over these past few weeks, you have been given an amazing opportunity and the forgiveness of Valentino to come back like nothing had ever happened." He said with a large smile on his screen. "If I were in your shoes, I would gladly-" he stopped as he heard something behind him. He was confused as to what the loud banging was coming from the stairs. He turned around to see someone big walking down the stairs. The Slayer slowly proceeded down the stairs and stared straight at Vox. After he reached the bottom, he stopped right in front of Vox and gave him a mean glare. For the first time, Vox had seen the Slayer face to face. "Oh. It's you," He said in a sort of annoyed tone as that would make things more complicated. He then looked at the Slayer head to toe. "Hmph. I guess you are about what everyone was describing." He said as he did fit the themes of being intimidating, dressed in green armor, and being a very large human.

"Oh yes. It turns out our large companion wasn't in such peril after all and will actually be able to join us for this second meeting...I hope that's not an issue?" Alastor said with a smile as he knew Valentino was not happy to see him.

"Of course, it's not. Why, it's so good to hear that nothing wrong happened to him and that he is with all of you now," Vox said with fake joy so he couldn't give Alastor any satisfaction. "Well, what a fucking crew you have here."

"Ooh, you've got realllly nice arms," Velvet said to the Slayer. Even though she was supposed to be against them, she couldn't help but not feel attracted to a guy with muscles such as those.

"Really Vel?" Valentino said.

"What? I've never seen someone with arms like that in Hell. It's not my fault he's got a hot body," Velvet said in her defense.

Vox let out a sigh. "Okay. Enough with the interruptions and all this off-topic shit," he said as he put his hands together. "It's really come the time to make a decision."

"Yes. It FUCKING is. I'm really grown tired of this game Angel, make a fucki-" Valentino started to say but stopped as he caught a glimpse of the Slayer staring at him through his new pair of sunglasses. He then gritted his teeth and reworded what he was going to say as to not start any physical conflicts. Especially none with him. While he's never fully fought the Slayer using all his power, after easily being tossed around with just the Slayer's bare hands, he wasn't sure yet if he would win. He wouldn't admit it but he was fearful of the Slayer. "The whole deal of you coming back to the studios four nights out of the week seems real fair. I mean real fair don't you think?"

"What would be the most fair would be him not having to go back at all after all that's happened. But we know that won't be the case for you," Vaggie responded.

"No it's not," Valentino replied.

"I just don't understand why we can't work out a different deal where you finally release Angel," Charlie added.

"Why the fuck would I agree to something like that? I would come out at the end of a losing deal. Unless you feel like paying the money Angel's makes to me on the regular," Valentino suggested.

"Well...that could be an option," Charlie said giving it a thought.

"Fuck that. I don't think ya even deserve something like that," Husk said finally speaking up.

"Agreed. Even if we did continuously pay off Angel's dues, he still wins in the end," Vaggie said. While she would also like to be able to pay off Angel's dues to allow him to be free of Valentino, she didn't like the fact that he would still get the last laugh.

"You'll come to realize that the best fucking deal for you fucks is Angel coming back to me in some way shape or form," Valentino said making his claim.

"That is not true. We could easily just keep Angel away by force if we had to," Niffty said and she wasn't wrong about that.

"Well, I suppose you could. Since you have...Mr. Radio Demon over here and...this guy," Vox said as he motioned towards Alastor and the Slayer. Technically Charlie could definitely be included in that as well as she was more powerful than she looked. But of course, no one has really seen her show her full power as she was a pacifist. "But I thought this whole thing was supposed to be resolved peacefully. Isn't that right Princess?" He said in a monotone voice.

"That would be the best solution to this problem," Charlie answered.

"Exactly. Because if this whole situation turned violent then who knows what could happen? People could die, be maimed and tortured, and possessions and buildings be dismantled and burned to the ground. That would just be a lot of unnecessary headaches," Vox said giving a few scenarios.

"Perhaps someone such as yourself would think that way. I am quite fond of the things involving those areas," Alastor said with a sinister smile.

"Yeah, we know you're so addicted to killing and death and blah, blah, blah. We fucking get you got weird issues," Velvet said as she was annoyed with all the murder stuff when it comes to Alastor.

"Talking about what could happen if this turned violent is all bullshit," Husk said.

"All bullshit? Oh? Why is it apparently bullshit their kitty cat?" Vox said insulting Husk.

"You are nothing but fucking talk. You always are fucking talk when it comes to shit such as this and anything with Alastor involved. You just say things like that but I know you don't want anything bad to happen," Husk said explaining himself.

"Well Husker my friend, that may have been the most intelligent comment to come out of your mouth," Alastor said as he was someone who thought of Vox as all bark but no bite.

"Oh. I'm...all talk am I?" Vox said as he slowly walked towards Husk to get into his personal space. "Well...how about...I show you...where you're wrong," he said as small portions of electricity were coming from his hands.

This situation was becoming hostile really quickly. Everyone began looking at one another, except the Slayer who was just focusing on what was going on. If a fight between Husk and Vox broke out, this whole hotel lobby could become a brawl room. But, it never reached that point, as a quiet Angel Dust had made his decision.

"Alright, I'll fucking accept the deal!" Angel said to stop anything from escalating further.

"Oh? I think I may have heard the right thing, but do you feel like repeating what you just said, Angel?" Valentino asked with the biggest grin he's had all night.

"I'll...accept the deal," Angel said again.

"Wait, Angel are you sure about this?" Charlie said as he walked over to him.

"Yeah, it doesn't need to be this way," Vaggie said as well as she wanted to find another way.

"Yes. I appreciate you all trying to fight for me but I don't want all this shit to go down just for the sake of me. I am not fucking worth all the headache," Angel responded.

"What? Of course you all Angel," Charlie said as she never wanted Angel to feel that way.

"Well!" Vox said as he clapped his hands together. "It sounds like this meeting is adjured as a decision has finally been met. And it was absolutely the right decision in the long run. Believe me." He said as he looked at Husk and walked back to Valentino and Velvet.

"Yes, I suppose it has. I am surprised you were actually to perform in a civil manner for this," Alastor said.

"That is absolutely rich coming from you Mr Big Bad Radio Demon," Velvet said.

"Exactly. Knowing you Alastor, I would bet that you wanted this to get out of hand. Too bad that this little charade you all put on led to absolutely fucking in the end. Sorry to tell you," Valentino said. He was right as he did end up getting Angel back. All of a sudden he felt like a new weight just fell on his shoulders as he glanced over again at the Slayer who was locked onto him with an extremely intense stare. Once again Valentino decided he wouldn't try to take his mocking any further to not stir the beast.

For the Slayer through this entire exchange, whatever occurred here was nothing of his concern. He did not care for whatever deal these demons were discussing as it was not something that involved him. He has no idea of anything in the past that has gone on between all of them, especially between Valentino and Angel. Because of that, he just decided to make himself present in case Valentino felt like starting a new fight that the Slayer would quickly end.

"Well, I am glad that we could get this done rather quickly as I didn't care for spending much time here anyways. It looks like we will see you again in two days Angel. Same time, same place as always.

"Cool. Can we bounce already?" Velvet said as she wanted to leave too.

"I'd say that's a great idea. Until next time. Well, let's hope there isn't one," Vox said as the Three Vs turned around towards the door to leave the hotel.

Once they were officially gone, Alastor was the first to speak. "Well. I suppose that matter is now concluded," he said as he made his cane disappear.

"Angel, are you absolutely sure that you want to go through with this?" Charlie asked him again.

"Yes...no...I don't fucking know...maybe? Look shit was getting hectic, I mean Husk was about to fight Vox of all people, and no offense Husk but that wasn't a fight you were gonna win," Angel said as he had seen Vox's power before and Husk was certainly no match for Vox.

"Oh Angel, Angel. You shouldn't let a little bit of violence sway your decisions," Alastor said as he wanted Angel to decline the deal to make the Three Vs mad.

"Easy for you to say. We weren't all blessed with superpowers like you or muscles over there," Angel responded.

That response did make the Slayer a little angry as his situation to gaining his god-like power was not even close to Alastor's. Alastor received it after his death when he arrived in Hell not having to work for it. The Slayer had to endure decades upon decades of physical and mental trauma longer than any of these demons had been alive. And on top of that, the process to get it was incredibly painful too. None of them even knew more than 2% of his life story.

"Well at times, we just have to take advantage of the opportunities that we are given don't we?" Alastor said.

"Well some of us ain't that fortunate. It ain't like ya give that much of a shit as long as it doesn't affect yer little overlord status," Angel said.

"Oh really? If I really did not care at all then I would have just let them have you and prevented all of you from having any sort of say. I'd say because of me we even had the choice to work out this deal in the first place. Remember, you are the one who said yes, not myself or anyone else in this establishment," Alastor responded.

"Angel...I kind of have to agree with Al. You're not being very fair to him," Charlie said supporting Alastor.

Angel let out a defeated sigh. "Look...FUCK...whatever! I got a lot on my mind now. I just need some time to myself for a minute," Angel said as he left the lobby to go back to his room as he didn't feel like trying to argue anything further. Once Angel was out of earshot, someone else finally spoke again.

"So...is stuff like this what goes on at this place on the regular?" Pentious said after being rather quiet through the exchange. "If that is the case, then this place might be a lot more interesting than I originally thought.

Two Days Later at the Hazbin Hotel

Angel was practically doing his own breathing exercises at this point. He felt very hesitant to actually walk out those doors. The day had come when Angel had agreed to go back to working under Valentino. He didn't think this day would come as he thought he would never go back but he figured this was for the best. But in a way, it was hard to tell if he actually thought this was for the best or if he still felt like Valentino had a hold over him he could not escape.

"Are you really sure you wanna do this legs? I wouldn't trust that fucker after all the shit that's gone down," Husk said to him trying to help Angel out.

In a way, it did help him out. A small smile came to his face as he was happy to see that Husk showed some care "Aw, I appreciate you lookin' out for me, but I think I'll be alright. I think this is the best for everyone after all," He said although his smile partially faded the more he spoke.

"He seemed really determined to get you these past few weeks. You don't think he just lie like the asshole he is and just hurt you again?" Husk said.

"Well...I have thought about that. I...I...I guess I wouldn't put it past him. But, I have to assume he still is scared shitless of the big guy over there. The big guy clearly doesn't like him and would probably hurt Val if he did anything to me," Angel said as he pointed a thumb at the Slayer who currently was sitting down in the lobby inspecting his heavy cannon.

"Yeah...I suppose there is that. I also bet the princess still thinks about just trying to pay off yer dues," Husk said.

"I appreciate her trying to do that but she would probably go broke after constantly doing that. Believe me, I would know. In the big fuckin picture I don't really want to do this but I can at least get some of my afterlife back. We'll just have to see how this goes I guess," Angel said.

Husk almost said something in response but decided to keep quiet as he saw Angel take one last deep breath before departing.

"Well...wish me luck I guess." That was the last thing Angel said as he walked out the doors back to the job he didn't know if he'd ever return to.

Husk just sighed as he did not think this was a good idea. He decided to turn around and just head to his post behind the bar. Not like he really cared about working it as he had nothing to do there besides drink himself.

"Oh hello Husk," She said as she began to look around the hotel. "Is Angel still here?"

"Nope. You just fucking missed him," Husk said as he took one swig of his newly opened drink.

"I guess...how was he?" Charlie asked as she was nervous for him too.

"Well...clearly having some second thoughts. But it seems like he seemed better thinking all of us are behind him," Husk answered.

"Well, that's nice to know. I'm really nervous about how this is going to go. I really think Valentino is going to hurt him," Charlie said.

"That could happen. But Angel did make a valid point. Valentino does seem to be scared shitless of the human. I'd bet on the fact that he'd be careful about doing anything to Angel if he at least thought the human would hurt him back. And to be fucking honest, I don't even know if the human does give that much of a shit," Husk answered.

Charlie looked over at the Slayer who still was sitting over on the side. And no one could really know for sure if the Slayer did actually care. Sure he had tossed Valentino around, but that could just be because he just didn't like him. She then looked back at Husk whose eyes were looking upwards like he was thinking of something.

"Is...something wrong?" Charlie asked trying to figure out what he was doing.

"Sounds like a vehicle just pulled up to the hotel," Husk said as he acted like it was nothing.

"A vehicle? I didn't hear anything," Charlie said trying to listen to something.

Husk let out a sigh as this was something he didn't like to acknowledge, "Well no wonder why. I...I have much better hearing than most. For...certain reasons." He said trying to explain it with as little detail as possible.

"Certain reasons?" Charlie thought about what those reasons could have been. But then, it suddenly came to her. "OHHHHHHH. It's because you're a cat right? And cats have better hearing right?"

Husk let out another sigh. "Yes. That would be the case." Husk always found it annoying about the amount of cat-related powers he received.

"Let me go check to see," Charlie said as she walked to the doors. She went out to the doors and opened them to find out Husk was absolutely correct. "Hey! You were right!"

"Great to know," Husk said sarcastically as he didn't care that he was right.

Charlie looked back to the car that pulled up. It was a bit of a fancy car that she had never seen before. She saw a door open in the back of the car and one singular demon got out and started walking towards the door. When he got close enough Charlie gave him one of her normal greetings.

"Oh! Hello there! Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" Charlie said with excitement as she thought it was someone interested in the hotel.

The unknown demon who was dressed quite properly didn't respond at first. He started out with a question. "I have been informed that the human is supposedly staying here."

"Oh. Yes, he is," Charlie answered.

He then reached into his pocket and held up a letter in front of him for all to see. "I have been designated to deliver this message to him."

"A message?" Charlie said as she didn't expect that. She then followed it up with another question, "Who sent this message?"

"That is...rather private. The contents of the message will reveal itself to him. He'll know who it's from then," the messenger responded so as to not give anything away to those who were not supposed to hear it.

"Okay," Charlie said as she took the letter. "I will give it to him then," Assuring the demon the message would find its way to the rightful hands.

"Good day then," he said as he turned around and proceeded back to the vehicle that was waiting for him.

Charlie briefly saw him off before closing the hotel doors. She looked at the letter from front to back. There was no writing on the front of the letter to signify who it was from and who it was supposed to be for.

"Whatcha got there?" Niffty asked as she filled into the lobby with Vaggie and Alastor.

"A letter," Charlie answered.

"Oooooh. Who's it from?" Niffty asked.

"I have no idea. The person who delivered it didn't say who it was from," Charlie replied.

"Well doesn't that sound like an invitation to chaos," Vaggie said as she was predicting that the letter was something bad.

"Open it! See what it says," Niffty said as she was curious as to what was in it.

"Well hold on now. The letter is not for me. It's actually for him," Charlie said as signaled toward the Slayer. However, the Slayer didn't acknowledge the fact that Charlie was directing the attention towards him.

"A letter for him? Well then there's no telling what that could be," Vaggie said.

"And since it is for him, I believe we should we respect that fact and let him open it," Charlie responded.

"You do realize that it ain't a federal offense to go through someone's mail in fucking Hell don't you?" Husk said.

"I don't know what a federal offense is but I see it as respecting someone's privacy," Charlie said as she walked towards the Slayer. She really didn't know what that meant as there was no use for a federal offense in Hell. As she approached the Slayer, he finally stopped what he was doing to look at her. She then held out the letter to him. "Here. This was personally delivered for you."

The Slayer looked down at the letter. In a way, it was kind of a forgotten feeling for the Slayer to receive a letter. The last time he had gotten one was back before he joined the UAC Space Marines. So a really, really, really long time. He put the heavy cannon down next to him and took the letter. He turned it over to see that it was sealed shut. Because of this, he used his blade to slit open the top to allow him to get the letter. He reached for it and had a little bit of trouble pulling it out as he did have large fingers and the addition of his gauntlet didn't make it any better.

He eventually got the letter and unfolded it to give it a read of what it said. The patrons of the hotel looked at him while he read. Just vaguely, they could see his eyes moving left to right signifying that he was reading the letter. After about thirty seconds, they saw his eyes go from a calming look to a more annoyed look. This annoyed look was then reinforced by the fact that Slayer just tossed the letter to the ground not caring too much about what it said.

"Clearly he wasn't a fan of what it said. I bet it was probably some pervy letter," Vaggie said.

"Well I wouldn't expect a letter like that to be delivered so formally," Charlie added.

They then saw the letter begin to rise off the ground and then float over to the hands of Alastor who was curious as to what the contents of the letter were.

"Alastor! You are really going to read his letter?" Charlie said as she found it impolite.

"Oh please Charlie, he clearly does not care for the letter and the contents that come with it, otherwise he wouldn't have tossed it to the floor as he did. I am sure he wouldn't mind if I read it," Alastor responded. And he was right, the Slayer did not care. Alastor then adjusted his monocle and started to read it himself.

For the human,

We would like to inform you that you have been invited to

attend the meeting of all Overlords of the pride ring occurring

on the upcoming Thursday starting at 2:00 p.m. The location of this

meeting will be held at the Overlord's Club located near the center of

the Pride Ring. Do not bring anyone with you that is not of

overlord status and any others that should not belong.

"Oh. Well, that is quite unexpected," Alastor said as he got done reading the letter.

"What does it say Al?" Niffty asked.

"It seems as if our large partner over here has been invited to a special meeting that is designed just for Overlords," Alastor answered.

"Wait what?" Pentious responded.

"Wait, that's a thing?" Charlie responded as well as she didn't know about that.

"Why of course. Although it is not something that is made quite public to those who do not belong. It is quite a tightly nit group per se," Alastor said as he had already been to these in the past.

"Well, what even goes on at these?" Charlie asked.

"Well I cannot give away everything, can I? Let us just say it is sometimes talk about what is going on around Hell and clearly the current topic must fall on the human," Alastor said pointing his cane at the Slayer.

"If this was such a tightly nit group, why would they invite him?" Pentious asked as he started to wonder why he wasn't ever invited into what sounded like a sophisticated group.

"Well, clearly they have found some type of interest in him. Who knows, perhaps they want to include him in their ranks. He clearly has more power than typically demons do in this world," Alastor answered.

"So they want to make him an Overlord like you?" Niffty said making sure she understood right.

"While I do not care for the title, that could very well be the case," Alastor replied.

"But that sounds crazy. He's not even a demon, how could he become an Overlord?" Vaggie said as she didn't see how this could work.

"As crazy as a human somehow finding their way into Hell on their own? As crazy as a human somehow possessing raw power that none have ever seen? We could go into lots of things that are considered crazy," Alastor responded.

"Okay while those are good points, I doubt he'd probably be interested in that," Charlie said switching the focus to what the Slayer would want.

"Hm, perhaps not, it is quite difficult to find out what he finds actually interesting," Alastor said. After he said those words, he practically vanished out of the air. Everyone started to look at where he went only to find him now sitting down right next to the Slayer. "But my good man, I think it as an interesting opportunity don't you?" He said to the Slayer. He didn't bother waiting long to speak again as he knew he wasn't going to get a verbal response. "It is not every day...well no, let me discard that thought, this is the first time they have ever invited someone such as yourself. I suggest you at least hear what they have to say."

The Slayer didn't see the point in listening to what these Overlords had to say. If Alastor was right in what they could possibly have in store for him, he had no interest in joining whatever group they had. He was done associating himself with others.

"Oh cheer up my good fellow. Maybe I'm wrong about why they want you to join them for their exclusive venue, I think you should at least see what they have to say. What have you got to lose?" Alastor said as he made the letter reappear in the Slayer's lap.

The Slayer looked down at the letter and saw Alastor walk away to let the Slayer try and rethink his decision.
